A large, comfortable room at a competitive price. This is the third time I have stayed at this property, and I would happily return. The hotel used to be a Premier Inn so the rooms are very similar to standard Premier Inn rooms. They are situated around a courtyard and are all at one level so you have relatively few neighbours. There is plenty of car parking even though the car park is shared with a pub. Recommended

Very disappointed with this hotel, looks beautiful from the outside with gardens and walks but when going to our room, it was quite poor. Very outdated, especially the bathroom and shower, there was cobwebs on the walls, a hair in the bath, one light not working and another loosing connection. Minor things that I would have expected in any hotel was that there was only one side light next to the bed, there were odd cups. It wasn’t exactly a cheap hotel. There were also weddings on during the weekend, whilst I understand that this might be their main income, as guests we felt that we were intruding on the areas in which we were allowed to be in, such as the lounge and outside areas - garden. We weren’t given information on the breakfast or dinner when we arrived and had to ask where the dinner would be served if we were to book a table as the main area was being used for the wedding. We decided that we wouldn’t eat at the hotel and went out. After we had spoken to reception about the issues with the room, we were given another room in the main house which was beautiful, but fairly noisy from the wedding until around 12 o’clock.
