Very good location, just next to city center The Nordic-style youth travel design is very beautiful. There is an elevator for people with large luggage. The room is very large, the bed is very good to sleep. The bathroom is big, but there is water. The heating in the room feels very weak. It has been turned on to the strongest. 3 or it feels not warm enough. The bathroom heater is no longer hot. In this area below minus 10 degrees, the heater is weak? It's really cold in the middle of the night or in the morning. Downstairs is the cafe Breakfast is served in the cafe. But it's really not cheap to ask for 11 euros a person The hotel is very close to the bus stop to Santa Claus Village. It is not too far to drive to Santa Claus Village. The road to the airport is in the direction. The bus schedule is actually a bit messy, it seems that many buses can go. But it's just a different route. There is an aurora group next door. It is very convenient to go there and book.

We booked this penthouse to have a nice weekend and enjoy beautiful view from the balcony. We carefully selected a very nice stay among all possible stays in Swedish Lapland and Finnish Lapland region reading all reviews and making a long research for a high-quality leisure stay. Instead we were forced to listen to around 9 hours of very loud unbearable rock through the whole evening. From 15:30-01 :00 90DB noise for 9 hours (harmful for health) 90 decibels is a high noise level, equivalent to the noise generated by a leaf blower or the sound level of a concert. Compared to 80 dB, 90 dB is 10 times more intense and twice as loud. Whenever you are exposed to this noise level, you should wear hearing protection. One could hear music even in the sauna. After two hours of nonstop noise and starting headache I contacted the host about full refund I got an answer that there is a festival just outside the building. Here is what I got as a reply: ”Is the music coming from outside? There is Santa open air music festival in the park by the riverside going thru the weekend.” Since host did not solve the problem I had to call to San Francisco USA airbnb support to solve the problem. Next reply from host was not apology and problem solving too. It was: ”This is a public outdoor event which have been promoted by the city of Rovaniemi. So it’s a well-known event, which attracts a lot of attention and visitors. We don’t ask our guests why they come to Rovaniemi. I can assume that many of our other guests come specifically because of this festival.” ”You cannot expect us to repost information about all public events in Rovaniemi.” I would not have booked this stay if I would have known that there is a very loud music in the whole apartment all night long non-stop. I do not know if anyone would. Since the attitude towards guest is so ignoring - I do not recommend this host. After getting in touch with Airbnb support I had a message from the host where the host offered second night instead of 82% refund (we would simply go home from that airbnb, the apartment was untouched yet). I accepted the night just to stop stressing. After listening to many hours of loud terrible noise I had a bad head-ache and a bad sleep. I would love to go home and regret making a booking. *it took us 1 hour to find parking outside before we checked-in. We parked on the river shore. Cleanlyness big minus: around toilet all walls in urine, dust on window floors and corners (non-professional cleaning) Hospitality non-professional. Host is interested in getting money, not in providing a nice and responsible service.

Perfect stay! Arrived on my own and was collected promptly at the airport - was offered to stop at Lidl on the way to collect some groceries. The apartment is really spacious and super warm! The sauna is great; gets up to around 85-90°C. The apartment is located about a 10 minute drive from the city centre or Santa's Village. There is shopping about a 3-4 minute drive. Unless you've rented a car, I would suggest using the offered taxi service which is run by the company. Kitchen has everything you'd need; microwave, hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. My only suggestion would be a couple more towels because between showers and saunas, you'd be finished with them very quickly!

Meet the New Year family in this wonderful place. Very glad they didn't make a mistake with the choice. Rest on 5 out of 5. It is really a very beautiful place in nature in the surrounding rivers (or lakes) and mothy oils, but to the city and village of Santa Claus hand to hand on the car. The houses themselves are cute, warm and comfortable, the atmosphere is home. Sound isolation is excellent. There is a sauna, and everything is! The hosts are pleasant and responsive people, thank you very much! All this creates a delightful mood and therefore contributes to a good rest! Minus, if such are, they are completely unwilling to notice. But I'll still let myself have a spoon of degth. Because it was New Year I personally didn't have enough dishes and I would have been good to update it. Well, in general everything is wonderful and we got better than we expected. Place to return! I cannot fault the communications beforehand (high floor request met) the cleanliness and facilities of apartment 68 for our 4 night stay were brilliant as too the location. My choosing an apartment over a hotel was for the additional comforts. As a 2 guest apartment I have suggested 2 comfortable chairs or small sofa be provided as I personally do not enjoy lounging on a bed, but neither spending 4 nights on a dining chair! Sadly our discomfort did not end there as we were cold the entire time. The heating was on max and the bathroom was warm but not the living area. Contacting customer services I was told the overall heating was based on the outside temperature ( it was -19 ) and over 24hrs later a heater arrived which was totally inadequate, kept cutting out and having been warned not to leave it on whilst we slept I did not consider it safe. As we had returned late and were departing the next day we discarded it and ended up going to bed. I have seen other reviews where this has been an issue and would of considered it a relative easy fix. The exceedingly good review I could of given has been literally left out in the cold!!

Excellent apartment, clean and tidy ! Highly recommended for family to stay !

At my first stay. i was going to chek on as normal. I got an automated sms messsage fron the staff hour before the check in, that told me that althought the official time to check is is in 15.00 i can, check out early, by typing i a code in to the keybox outside the door. I did not ask anything about early chek in and was finen with later check i and thhis was compleatley the hotels idea. This was ice and worked fine, as intended. I had my own key and other guest had their own. Well. i booked this hotel couple of weeks later, thinks were different this time. This time i wanted to chek-in early as before, but rather than they giving me the code i got nothing, so asked wheather the code to keybox was still same, i got no annswer. So i ended up walking there by my self. In cold snowstorm dragging my heavy luggage. Well at the hotel i typed the old code in the keybox, it did not work. Well i told the hotel how this was not nice of them to not anwer to me anything and that i am at the hoteö and they changed the code. This time they anwered me immediately (propobly because ego got hurt when i critizised that it was not nice) But rether than anwering anyhting about my questions about why this time chekinnng in was different and code was not given and they hadnt answered, they only told me that cheking in time is at 15.00. Which was basically premis of my argumet, and the questions it based on it were compleately ignored. They framed it like it was my fault because i wanted to chek in and didnt tell them, and they passiveely aggressively told me to read their rules carefully before reserving the hotel. But thats not how human pshycology works. Sure i was willihng to make excatly as rules said in first time when cheking in, but it was they who told me alternative way ad time of cheking in, and dindt say it was not the regular way. So EVERYONE not just me must make this mistake when you think about it. If they are the ones saying you another cheking time ad way of course custoimers assume that it was the unofficial, but still the common way to chek in. Why to say it? espesially if the customer dosent ask? Everyone that has stayed in a hotel for a time the next time when they check in, especially if the first check in is not so long ago assumes that this time it works the same, and if ot they would tell about it. It is absurd to assume customers read rules every week every time check i the hotels check-in rules, and literally nobody does it. When i asked enough. They lied that this is how their check-in has always worked, which was not true since i stayded there few weeks ago.' They eventually say that it was because they needed to clean and for other reasons. But I could see inside, and saw that hotel was compleatele empty and all the beds were compleately clean and tidy. There were nobody inside. I was questionning their answer since even if they neede to clean. There should be at least one bed clean and since you can choose what ever bed

In the city center, but dragged a big box for a long time, then go to the nearby bar to get the key checkin, check out at the door. It is apartment, the elevator is old, the room is new, the layout is reasonable, clean, the facilities are complete, there is kettle and dishwasher. A little taste of decoration. There is a 24-hour supermarket downstairs. Downstairs is the nightclub, but it is too tired to hear the legendary noise. When I arrived, I walked more than a kilometer from the bus terminal. When I left, I went to the No. 8 bus, a few hundred meters away. Luggage can be stored in the bar with the key and the door opens at 10 in the morning. Wi-Fi was not found on the black small device on the bedside table and contacted the owner.
