Hotel was oké for a flight layover. I had an issue with the shuttle service I waited for almost 2.5 hours to be picked up and each time i called they said they were on there way and finally they said oh the driver did not see me. Finally when I see him he had an attitude….. even in the return trip to the airport he had an attitude in the car like someone ate his breakfast…. On check out there was a guy at the reception, he was super friendly and great sorry I don’t remember his name but if he reads this, he know. We spoked about traveling and Mexican food, he made the overall experience worth it and people like these we need more in the hospitality service

I’ve stayed here dozens of times. This stay we had no heat in our room. At checkout I told the front desk he should have maintenance check our room heater. I had a picture of the thermostat and showed him the air temp in the room was a chilly 62 degrees. He responded by saying they had turned off the boilers yesterday because it was warm outside. I told him that was ridiculous and wondered why they were not turned on again for the night. When I told him we woke in the middle of the night and we were cold, he simply stated we should have called the front desk and they would have brought us a space heater. I told him that’s ridiculous and 62-63 degrees is unacceptable. He offered no other solution, apology, or a credit of any sort. This is very disappointing as most of my other stays here were just fine.

Rooms a bit older and hotel overall could be a bit cleaner, but not terrible. Some of front desk staff not the friendliest and we had some issues with room air conditioning.

Very convenient and quiet, convenient transportation, walk to the main Mayo building 10-15 minutes. You can walk through skyway. The two restaurants that come with them are delicious and the service is good.

Good for the price. A little worn in places, but well equipped. Appreciated the room had a microwave. The staff at the front desk were all very helpful and are probably the best thing about this hotel. I did have a package delivered to the front desk prior to my arrival. Unfortunately, it seemed to have gone missing. Potentially taken by someone or given away in error. Not a huge issue, and I don't expect them to take responsibility, but the young lady who helped me was very apologetic.

Reception not in ground floor lobby, but on second floor. ”Front door” not readily evident. Parking available according to Website, it is in adjacent parking ramp and a separate fee. Room spacious, well appointed with many electrical outlets, TV, telephone, couch, small but adequate closet. Bathroom, nicely lighted, very functional shower, toiletry amenities, good towels and cloths. Window view over parking ramp and city in distance.

Facility was quiet and comfortable. Had a good price. No issues. Appeared building had recently been acquired by new Owners. Lawn sprinkler was broke and sprayed into the same spot in the ground all night. Elevator door frame appeared to have been painted with the skill of a 5 year old. I hope they continue to fix these minor details.

Very good, the hotel is very convenient for eating and shopping. It is only 30 minutes away from the airport. There is a slightly older lady at the front desk who is very enthusiastic and friendly. Except that the hotel price is a bit expensive during the exhibition, everything else is satisfactory!

It was clean and comfortable I was a little surprised that there were no bathroom slippers or toothpaste I guess that's the case in most places in the US Breakfast was paid, but it wasn't a buffet, so you could order a la carte and eat at various prices. My daughter and I each ordered a bun like Bora and a Burger and each ordered a drink, which cost $23 The tip was written separately on the receipt Overall, I was satisfied The photo below is the cafe next to the lobby on the first floor where we had breakfast.

MMiss InformationBeautiful old girl, kept elegantly up to date. My King room was tastefully furnished but the older heating system was a bit noisy and I had to crank it to 25°C to combat the -14°C external weather coming in through the window. This overheated the room everywhere except near the desk, where I needed to work for most of the evening. Brisk! Shower was blissfully hot. Towels, robes and toiletries all stylish but does anyone else have trouble getting product out of those tiny Aveda bottles? You need a vise-like grip! Doorman was lovely but front desk only brusquely efficient. A little more warmth on a cold night would have been nice. Hostess at the Grill even colder! This was all made up for the next day with exceptional service, smiles and warmth at The Drake, where the blueberry salmon and eggs on toast shouldn't be that delicious but IT IS! Please try it!

HH Stefan BrachaThis is a wonderful long-term stay hotel. Its greatest advantage over other hotels in the Mayo Clinic area is the friendliness and competence of the staff. every single one of the staff that I’ve interacted with was superb. Most four-star hotels don’t have this level of service that I’ve experienced at StayBridge the breakfast buffet is very good. The restaurant is outstanding. The staff at the reception desk is more competent and nicer than any hotel I can think of in Minnesota It is across the entrance from Mayo St. Mary’s Hospital Also there are several very good restaurants within two blocks in each direction I’ve stayed in four other hotels in the three years that I receive care at Mayo Clinic and this one is fairly superior to the others. GGuest UserI chose to book here because the Intercontinental offers room service which is hard to find in other hotels. The room we booked was a private access river view room with breakfast, I thought there would be a different lift (my kid is loud) and I was wrong. We used the same elevator but needed a swipe card to get to our floor. We didn't have a phone in our room, which was weird, however, the front desk texted us and sent someone immediately to handle our room service order, which was great. The room is not very big. Room service and breakfast were great and reasonably priced, and we liked their staff service and food service the most. By the way, parking is valet only and it's not easy to find parking on the streets near the city center.

GGuest UserSo many issues to list: 1) I had booked a non-smoking room - the hotel did a bait-and-switch and gave me a smoking room instead. 2) The AC unit was barely functional, the room temperature never got below 84 degrees. 3) The bathtub drain was essentially non-functional, taking in excess of 20 minutes to drain after showering. 4) The A.D.A. grab bar in the shower was loose and wobbly, hanging by a couple screws. 5) Half of the ice machines were non-functional, and the other half were absolutely disgusting with dirt and rust. 6) Complimentary breakfast consisted of a barely lit dirty room, with a gallon of milk set out on the counter for who knows how long. And several other minor problems.

HHeatherAbsolutely wonderful. I am super picky and my friends all stayed at other hotels in for a wedding. I was last minute and didn’t like what I had seen in the other hotels my friends were at so I walked down to check out this one and I was so happy I did! Love love love it. Clean and cozy and felt like an adults on the interior furnishings. Other hotels have cheap furniture and feel like dorm rooms. I was really have with this choice all the way around!!! I will definitely be back and can’t wait for their new spa to open!! Staff was great too and hotel was decorated lovely for Christmas! Great price also!

GGuest UserOn the morning of May 8, 2025, when I checked out of the Hampton Inn in downtown Minneapolis, I encountered an extremely disrespectful front desk employee. I politely asked if I could store my luggage, but the employee not only rolled his eyes and showed disdain, but also directly refused and laughed at me when I left. But I later saw him helping other guests store their luggage. As an international business traveler, this was my seventh visit to the United States and my third visit to Minnesota, and it was also the first time I personally experienced such open hostility. After I formally complained, the hotel management responded to acknowledge the problem and record it in the employee file, and said that they would improve training and internal supervision. The hotel also promised to give me Hilton Honors points as compensation, but as of now, I have not received the points. Although the room fee cannot be refunded and I did not ask for a refund, I hope that this matter will be taken seriously to prevent other guests from being treated similarly. I have always trusted the Hilton brand and hope that this store can truly live up to their promise of ”inclusion and respect”.

GGuest UserWe like the Homewood Suites. The one in St Louis Park Mn is being renovated and actually it is a bit tired. The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly though. We had to change our plans and they couldn't have been more helpful. The only minus was we had a room above the porch of the main entrance, upon which are mounted two bright lights. They shine straight in through the room windows and of course are on all night. Good breakfast and excellent location for us. We shall stay again
