Located along National Route 58, it offers excellent access! Enjoy a comfortable stay with an on-site convenience store. With exceptional access and a great location, this hotel will become your new base for sightseeing in Okinawa. Located in the central region, less than 30 minutes by car from Naha Airport, it also directly faces Route 58, making it ideal for sightseeing in the northern part of Okinawa, as well as the southern part and for business trips. Experience a high-quality, comfortable stay in Okinawa, starting at The Grand Hotel Ginowan.

"The hotel is very new and modern. Rooms are correct and a big bigger than in other cities in Japan. They are very clean and have a nice balcony facing the seaside. The staff is very kind and they serve free drinks from 4-7pm. The breakfast is correct and offers a little variaty of food. Products are in general fresh. There's a Family Market 24/7 just at the entrance of the hotel. Few nice restaurants are also available for lunch or dinner closeby (some can be reached by foot).  The direct bus from/to the airport (bus 143!) stops just 100mt away from the hotel and it's very convenient. You also have buses for Naha City and to some beachside destinations. The nicest beach is Araha (40min by foot, 20min by bus 63, and 10-15 by car). Tropical beach is also closer but I preferred Araha with a lot more restaurants facing the beach and a lot of people and call family in the evening (there is also a kids ground). The Hrand Hotel Ginowan is a nice place to stay."

"The hotel felt new and the room size was acceptable compared to business hotels in mainland Japan, although it may feel squeezy if you are carrying many baggage. It has a good location as it’s located between Chatan and Uruma, and it’s not too far from Nago as well. It has a gym, rooftop pool and jacuzzi but unfortunately it’s not opened for guests at the moment which is a disappointment. Breakfast spread was good though!"

"Location The hotel is conveniently situated on a side street just off the main road. It’s a quiet spot but offers easy access to nearby restaurants. Service Issues • Poor Communication: I arrived an hour before the 3:00 PM check-in time. While I understood that early check-in wasn't available, the staff directed me to a small, uncomfortable bench at entrance of restaurant to wait. It was pouring rain outside, and the seating was so poor I eventually chose to go out into the rain just to kill time. I later discovered a proper reception area with comfortable seating on the 11th floor—I wish the staff had directed me there instead of the hallway. • Misleading Incentives: The hotel provides an information card stating that guests receive a 1,000 credits for skipping room cleaning. I opted out twice during my first stay but never received the credit. When I returned for a second stay and inquired about it, the receptionist told me that since I had already checked out, there was ”no proof” the room wasn't cleaned no credit can be provided. It’s small, but the lack of accountability felt deceptive. Room Quality On a positive note, the rooms are very spacious, which made the physical stay quite comfortable"

The hotel is directly connected to the Tomarin Ferry Terminal, serving as the gateway to the eight outer islands. It is just a 10-minute taxi ride from Naha Airport and a 15-minute walk to Kokusai Street, offering easy access not only to daytime activities but also to shopping and the bustling downtown area. This makes it an ideal base for your Okinawa trip. The hotel features an all-day dining area with a spacious open-air terrace, and from the rooms, guests can enjoy the best sunset views in Naha. This allows guests to experience the unique resort-like atmosphere while staying right in the heart of the city. With 216 rooms in 13 different types, the hotel offers a variety of accommodations to suit different needs. There are rooms that can accommodate up to five people, as well as rooms with bunk beds, perfect for larger groups. Additionally, family-friendly rooms where guests can relax barefoot and enjoy the comfort of their stay are also available.

"- The hotel's parking lot location wasn't very clear and it was a bit far from the hotel. If you park on level A, you can access the elevator directly. However, if you park on level B, you have to carry your luggage up half a flight of stairs to reach the elevator. If you arrive late, you might have to park on a higher floor, take the elevator to the basement, and then walk to a different building just to reach the check-in desk. - I arrived at the hotel around 8 PM and learned that everything is now electronic, with self-service check-in and check-out. But I stood at the self-check-in kiosk for a long time, probably about 5 minutes, unable to find my reservation. No staff members came to assist, perhaps everyone was busy with their own tasks? It feels like at this hotel, staff won't proactively help unless you ask. Also, be aware that the hotel sends a separate email with its own booking reference number, which you'll need to find your reservation. Searching by your name might not work if the hotel made a mistake, for example, our English name had a long space in between, which prevented us from finding our booking. - I booked a double room, but upon entering, I found that the hotel had upgraded our two-person room to a triple room without prior notification. I appreciate the upgrade, but it wasn't what I wanted. Every time I got in and out of bed, I kept accidentally bumping my head on the upper bunk. - The hotel is still undergoing renovations. This time, I was assigned a room on the 9th floor. Exiting the elevator, the right side was still under renovation, and the smell of paint/renovation was very strong. Around 11 PM, I saw people moving around in the renovation area, and there were many construction workers coming and going during check-out in the morning. - Finally, there's a serious problem! At 7 AM, the room was filled with a very strong smell of cooking oil – like frying sausages and deep-fried food. Even with the air conditioning on, it wouldn't dissipate. I was in room 904, and the restaurant is directly below on the 8th floor. - The only positive aspect is the hotel room's design, color scheme, and all the items used – the hangers, cabinets, mirror cabinet, trash can, and lights are all beautiful and very well-designed. However, the rug outside the bathroom door felt a bit unclean, but it was acceptable to put on slippers immediately after showering and drying off."

"The photo shows the view from my room. The room was okay—simple but comfortable, and it had a large bed which was great for a good night’s sleep. However, there were a few inconveniences. The TV remote control was in Japanese, which made it difficult to use, especially for someone not familiar with the language. Another downside was the parking situation. There was no free parking available, so I had to pay for the car park each day, which added to the overall cost of the stay. While the room met basic expectations, a few small improvements could have made the experience much better."

The hotel has a minimalist design. We were upgraded to a lagoon view room, and the water was beautiful on a good day. There are two small, enclosed beaches, but the sea was still quite cold in May. The two pools close early and apparently won't be open late until September. There are a few massage hot spring pools which are quite comfortable. For breakfast, sometimes you have to get a number and wait for a table. The French toast with cream and jam was super delicious, the bread was so soft it melted in your mouth. The pudding bread was also good. Overall, the desserts and bread were outstanding. The dishes varied daily. On the first day, there was freshly grilled steak, and the bitter melon scrambled eggs were very tasty. On the second day, there was Agu pork hotpot.

The service was excellent, and the hotel environment was fantastic! The breakfast and dinner were standard buffet style, with above-average quality. However, the staff at the small shops might need more training, as they were unhelpful and seemed clueless, which is not the standard of service expected from a top-tier hotel.

It was the perfect environment for a hotel getaway. Since we had young children, the hotel's pool and activities were excellent and very helpful. We used the buffet restaurant all day, and the availability of sofa seating was a great help! I highly recommend adding Club Savvy benefits. The food and drinks in the lounge and the concierge service were simply fantastic. The exceptional hospitality made me want to return.

I booked this new hotel even though there weren't many reviews since it just opened in April 2026. As expected, the facilities were excellent. The room was spacious enough for four adults. When we arrived, the sofa had already been converted into a bed, which was a nice touch. The separate bathtub and toilet were convenient, and the amenities were thoughtfully provided, from cleansing oil to shaving lotion. There's also a free large public bath on the 18th floor, so you can shower there if you prefer. The 2000 yen fee for the swimming pool felt a bit steep for its size, though. The staff were friendly, and when checking in, they provided an induction-compatible pot, microwave-safe dishes, and disposable cutlery and chopsticks upon request. It's just one block away from American Village, which was an easy walk, and the night view from the balcony was beautiful. You can even get a good view of the fireworks show starting at 8 PM.

This is a well-established hotel with a private beach, offering great value for money. Here are some detailed tips: 1. **Transportation**: You can take the Limousine Bus (CD line) directly from Naha Airport to the hotel entrance. The last bus departs at 6 PM. Look for the 'Airport - Domestic Terminal' direction, and purchase your ticket at Gate 2. Cash payment is required. The hotel front desk can book a return bus to the airport/Naha Bus Terminal, but only morning departures are available. The bus stop is located just a short walk to the left after exiting the hotel. The journey typically takes 1.5 hours. 2. **Dining**: I recommend booking a stay that includes breakfast; the buffet breakfast is excellent, and you can enjoy it with ocean views. For dinner, you can purchase the buffet on-site. Remember to use the 10% discount coupon provided by the hotel. Dining options nearby are limited; about 100 meters from the hotel, there's only one shabu-shabu restaurant, which also offers sukiyaki. 3. **Shopping**: The hotel has a souvenir shop and a convenience store, but prices are a bit high. About 100 meters from the hotel, across the road, there's a Family Mart convenience store with reasonable prices. 4. **Facilities**: All water sports activities on the beach incur extra charges, but the pricing is transparent. The outdoor and indoor pools are free, and the indoor pool is heated. There's a fee for the hot springs, which varies depending on the time of day, with mornings being cheaper and evenings most expensive. I suggest going in the afternoon; it opens after 4 PM, there are fewer people, and you can enjoy the beach view. It's located near the indoor pool on the first floor and can be a bit hard to find, so ask a staff member for directions. It costs 600 JPY per person in the afternoon. If you opt out of room cleaning, the hotel provides a 1000 JPY voucher that can be used at the hotel's hot springs, restaurants, or convenience store. 5. **Rooms**: The rooms are generally clean. Remember to request a high floor from the staff, especially if you've booked an ocean view room. Late check-ins might only get lower-floor rooms, but it's worth trying to get a higher floor; while all ocean view rooms offer a sea view, the perspective differs significantly. 6. **Surroundings**: You can take a taxi to Onna Station, which is like a service area with some snack stalls and a supermarket. The taxi ride takes about 15 minutes and costs approximately 100 RMB for a round trip.

First time in Motobu and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We wanted a hotel on an island with walking distance to a beach and selected Hilton Sesoko Resort as we wanted to explore the Northern region. Room and service were excellent! Love the cosy room that came with a balcony and sea view, spaciousness for our luggages and large bathroom that is separated from the toilet and comes with standing shower and a bathtub. Parking is JPY1,500 per night, with discount given to Hilton members.

The room size was surprisingly large, especially for Japan! You could see the ocean right from the room, which really made it feel like a vacation – absolutely fantastic! The hygiene wasn't as bad as some online reviews suggested, and I was pleasantly surprised by the comprehensive toiletries and amenities provided. If you opt out of daily housekeeping, you can get a 500 or 1000 yen voucher to use at the small shop, which is a nice touch! The hotel's swimming pool is great for kids, and there are also some paid craft activities in the lobby that are perfect for keeping the little ones entertained.

We stayed at this hotel right after landing in Okinawa, and since I knew it was a new hotel, I was quite excited. From the moment we walked through the main entrance, it felt magical. The wooden automatic doors opened as if leading into another world, and the decor had a very Zen, comfortable vibe. The king-size bed was huge, and the room itself was spacious enough. On our floor, there were water dispensers, microwaves, and vending machines, which was very convenient. The location is also excellent, close to Kokusai-dori, about a five-minute walk away. The front desk staff were lovely and gentle. The only minor drawback is having to go to the 7th floor and then transfer to another elevator to reach your room floor, but it wasn't a big deal! Overall, I was very satisfied with this experience.
