Very satisfied. Of the four hotels I stayed at in Japan this trip, this was my favorite. It's very close to the station, and there are plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, convenience stores, and a McDonald's nearby. The best part is the free water and ice available on our floor, so my friend didn't have to go downstairs to buy ice or water for drinks, which was super convenient. My friend even wanted to just stay at this hotel and not leave! ๐ The only downside is that because it's so close to the station, you can hear Shinkansen trains at night, but it wasn't too bad.

Very good location for being close to the train station, although it's about a 35-40 minute walk to places of interest. There's a 7-Eleven right next door, and a more complete supermarket and restaurants at the station. The rooms are huge for Japan, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is standard for the country. The hotel has a well-equipped gym and a very nice reading room. They do not clean the rooms until after the fourth night. They are not flexible with check-in; for example, after our 4-night reservation, we rebooked another 4 nights, but they made us wait 4 hours between checking out of the first room and checking into the second room. I think they could have paid more attention to us, since we had booked with them again and on a regular basis, but they paid no attention at all.

Guest UserStay here for 3 night. Room with breakfast. No variation for their breakfast. Every day is with the same dishes. Also the staff at the reception are not helpful despite asking if there are e available parking lot that can be made available since there are guest checking out. But they insist for us to drive the car from the affiliate parking lot to the hotel to book the space first despite that we told them we are heading out. There is no point for us to just drive the car here and eventually we are still going to drive out isnโt it. They could have just took our car particulars and secure the lot. Very unhelpful young staff till a nicer Japanese older lady willing to assist us.

Best was the receptionist! A young and very professional gentleman that helped us with everything along our stay, he normally works in Kyoto but came for a week to the hotel in kanazawa. Hope to see you at the hotel insomnia KYOTO next time we pass through. Highly recommend this hotel!
Some weights at the gym would have been the cherry on top of the cake :)

Yonggandexin0619The Hyatt Centric Kanazawa is ideally located at the East Exit of JR Kanazawa Station, making it super convenient. The hotel is relatively new, boasts a great design, and has excellent facilities. The breakfast is fantastic, featuring tempura shrimp and even a local omelette with crab meat!

Guest UserThe staff were very friendly and helpful. There are many facilities including laundry room, lounge area (with tea and coffee provided), massage chairs and public spa bath; all of which do not require extra charges). The breakfast was delicious and had many food varieties to choose from.
Although the location is not close to any public transport, the hotel offers free shuttle bus to and from the Kanazawa station every 30 minutes. This is very convenient.

The hotel reception and waitstaff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The room was very clean, with a simple yet stylish design. In the evenings, you could enjoy soba noodles in the lobby and even order a sake set to chill with friends. I even asked the front desk if I could bring my own snacks to enjoy with the free drinks. It was a very comfortable space. If you're staying for a day or two, I recommend trying the hotel breakfast. Both the Japanese and Western options were delicious, especially the bread ๐ฅฏ. I bought breakfast every day during my 3-day stay, but I got tired of having the same thing daily ๐. Despite the no-refund policy, I wanted to cancel breakfast on my last day. The staff were very thoughtful and said that even though a refund wasn't possible, I could take away some bread ๐ค. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would choose UAN Kanazawa again if I come back.

Superb location and hospitality. Spacious, clean, and quiet room. I attended the Kanazawa Marathon on the weekend, the hotel location is right across the street, and the hotel was so caring to open breakfast buffet at 6:30am so runners can have breakfast before race.

The hotel itself was old but the room was relatively beautiful.
I was worried about the mold and dirt in the bathroom.
I think it can't be helped by the number of years.
It was a pity that the electricity in the room was dark, the window was full of spider webs when I opened the curtain to see the scenery, and there was no laundry.
There was an ice cold machine on the fifth floor and I used it.
The hotel response was very good.
I didn't feel so far from Kanazawa Station in about 20 minutes.

YINGThe design of the Youth Hostel, the room is very small, 90 [%] or more foreigners, no noise and quiet at night. The public restrooms and bathrooms are very clean, the common kitchen pots, pans, knives and forks have everything, and they are spacious and bright. Note that the luggage storage can only be taken away on the same day. It is charged for overnight stays.
