"A very cost-effective hotel with its own underground parking lot (free). Before checking in, park your car at the main entrance of the hotel (only temporary parking). After getting the room card, you can swipe the room card and lift the barrier to enter the underground parking lot (the same entrance for both entry and exit). The hotel has a good restaurant. There is a gas station at the entrance (really at the entrance), and a large supermarket next door. The room is clean, tidy and spacious, with a single bed at the entrance, so it is also suitable for three people to travel and live. The breakfast is rich, delicious and fresh. It is the best choice for next time you come to Modica."

"The room was very quiet and I didn’t dare to speak loudly. The environment was also very good. The door opened to the sea. It was pet-friendly and the staff were very attentive. The pizza in the pizzeria was authentic Napoli pizza and tasted great (personally I think it is more cost-effective than the buffet). It was the first time I only stayed for two nights, which didn't feel like it was enough. At least two days and three nights would be the starting point. In terms of transportation, it is best to drive, followed by train and taxi. The swimming pool is very clean, the beach is also very clean, and you can even see a lot of fish"

"The Masseria is really a dreamy property with a very well-served garden and a very beautiful Polish facility. The hotel is incarnated in an exciting olive garden - without a car it is not possible to arrive. It is located in a very good location, so you can start excursions from there."

"It's a modern hotel. Breakfast is part buffet style and part QR code can be ordered. Parking was very comfortable and not big, but there was a gym so it was okay to exercise for a while~ I recommend it."

"Firstly, thanks to the staff who welcomed us with great friendliness. The hotel is in a great location, just a few steps from the Acitrix sea, where there are many rooms for dinner or aperitif. The structure is very beautiful (I loved the interior design) and the rooms are also good, with perfect size; the bathroom and the balcony are spacious. The boiler is very useful (it is one of the first things I look for in the accommodation facilities!). The breakfast room is very nice, with both interior and exterior spaces (but if you're bothered by the morning sun, wear a hat or sunglasses). I chose to sit out and at 8 a.m. the walls avoid direct sun: with that temperature it was really pleasant. (There are some bees, but the trick is put some cooked mud: they go mad and ignore everything else! 😄) Breakfast also offers a wide variety of products. Very comfortable, the private parking is available at only 10 euros per night. Just to give a complete judgement: the rooms are not very soundless inside, while outside yes. So, if some clients are noisy in the corridor, you can hear. In addition, in the breakfast room there is only one drinking machine, and this sometimes can discourage taking something to drink, given the row. Thank you and... to the next!"

"I decided to celebrate my next birthday in Taormina at the renowned Excelsior Palace Hotel. Built in 1904, the hotel exudes a sense of history and age, from the lobby to the rooms. Initially, I was given a single room without a balcony, but at my request, reception upgraded me to a room with a balcony on the ground floor, right next to the lobby bar, which was very convenient. The hotel is heated by a central air conditioning system, which is loud but warm. Then, the next morning, I was awakened by construction noise—renovations were underway right next door in the bathroom, with a drill at work. I contacted reception, and they upgraded me to a deluxe room (a newer double room on the second floor). The move was a bit of a hassle—packing up, unpacking, and so on. And then, the next day, I had to check out, meaning packing up again. But the room was large and spacious, and it didn't heat up as quickly. If you turn off the noisy air conditioner, it's cold. The breakfast is monotonous: eggs, sausages, cheeses, vegetables, cereal, yogurt, nuts, sorbet, and pastries. On the second day, the coffee machine broke. I had to ask the waiters to bring coffee several times. For a hotel of this level, not fixing the coffee machine is very strange! Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but the rooms are old and not worth the price in high season; they're just paying for the name of the chain. Water from the minibar in the room is extra, there are no robes, and they didn't even congratulate me on my birthday. The tax is 4 euros per day. The hallway on the ground floor smells good. I didn't like that at breakfast I had to ask for a second cup of cappuccino, look for the waiter, and they don't ask me again whether I want coffee or not, they seem to be doing me a favor."
