YollandiI don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience in the hope that it encourages some improvements.
Unfortunately, my stay at Nalagi Hotel was far below my expectations. From the moment I checked in, the experience got off to a disappointing start. The front desk attendant was cold and unwelcoming, never made eye contact, and didn’t smile once. She appeared annoyed to be there, which was a stark contrast to the genuine warmth and hospitality I experienced at other hotels in Nadi during this trip.
The room was spacious, but it lacked thoughtful design and attention to detail. The main light switch is inconveniently located below the television, with no bedside lamps or nightstands, meaning that if you wanted to read in bed or simply turn the lights off, you had to get up each time. There was also a persistent unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom drain, and overall cleanliness and maintenance left much to be desired. The hotel feels worn and tired, as though very little care has gone into its upkeep. That’s perhaps the biggest disappointment, because the property has so much potential that simply isn’t being realized.
The final straw came on my second night. I was repeatedly woken between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. by neighboring guests who were aggressively banging on a nearby door so loudly it sounded as though they were trying to break it down. Once they eventually got into the room, the noise continued. I called reception to report the disturbance and was told security would be sent, but if they did come, it had little effect. Eventually, I had to get out of bed and ask the guests myself to keep the noise down.
I genuinely wanted to enjoy my stay, but the combination of poor service, lack of maintenance, hygiene concerns, and the handling of the late-night disturbance made for a very disappointing experience. With better management, staff training, and investment in the property, Nalagi Hotel could be a wonderful place to stay. Sadly, that was not my experience.

Chavi FernandezThe property was huge, with multiple restaurants to choose from. The rooms were obviously not easy to get to due to the distance, but there were buggies available to hop on/off. I felt the rooms were way behind modern-style hotel rooms where charging/power ports were easily available, and near the beds, by the side tables. Overall we had a good stay though.

Kingfeet99We had a very pleasant stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fiji - Sonaisali Island. The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff — everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always trying to help with a smile. You can tell the team really cares about the guests, and that makes a huge difference.
The hotel itself is quite remote and isolated, which can be either a positive or a negative depending on what you are looking for. There is no real private beach for swimming, so don’t expect a classic white-sand Fiji beach resort experience. However, the location is absolutely perfect for sunsets. The evening atmosphere is beautiful, calm, and very relaxing.
The breakfast is not really at a 5-star level in terms of variety or quality, but it is still more than sufficient and you will definitely find enough options to start the day well.
One thing that really feels outdated though: charging extra for Wi-Fi in the rooms in 2026 is honestly absurd. Hilton, seriously — what decade are we living in? Free room Wi-Fi should be standard at this level nowadays.

Carol_auNice and quiet resort, beautiful views and delicious menus.
Only downside was, the bugs around the mini bar area. Cleanness needs some improvement.

Guest UserWished we’d stayed longer! We used as a quick 1 night stay before departing for an island stay ferry. However after staying here, we’d recommend staying here and doing day trips to islands. Great location only 10 mins coach journey to the ferry port.
One of the best breakfast selections we’ve had anywhere in the world - variety & freshness. Fantastic spacious & clean room, loved that specially filtered meant tap water was available, and the free reusable drinks bottle was a nice touch.
Didn’t get to use the pool in such a short time, but it looked lovely. Would highly recommend!

I gave 3 star for the location is because it is hard to get to anywhere, the public transport in Nadi is not very easy for tourists. We stayed 5 nights in the Warwick, breakfast buffet is ok, nothing stands out. the water is beautiful but we had strong tide so half of the time it was closed, when it is not, they hotel only has very limited snorkelling gears for guests to use it was quite disappointing. There is no restaurants within walking distance, so the hotel food is our only choice, we had dinner in the Italian and Japanese restaurant both are disappointment. I ordered a Caesar salad with only lettuce and croutons but got charged $30. The only thing that is good is the staff are friendly.

Anonymous UserThis seaside cottage was very comfortable. The bus stop right in front was very convenient. If you're relying on the bus, allow plenty of time. We couldn't get on an express bus as they were all full, and three passed us by. After a two-and-a-half-hour wait, we finally got on a local bus to Singatoka, and from there, we took an express bus to Nadi. It's a great spot; you can snorkel during high tide and enjoy exploring the tidal pools during low tide.

Guest UserVinaka, Tokatoka, for your wonderful hospitality. Thank you to the front desk attendants for being so helpful to my friend and me when we were having trouble with our cruise reservation. They were nice enough to lend us their desk phone. Also, we were able to check in early at 8am without an additional surcharge. I cannot thank you enough for that.

Martin ElsenderGreat hotel with just about every facility you could ever want.
Breakfast is vast… every choice possible.
Waitui Beach Club worth every penny.
Lovely Vietnamese restaurant for supper.
Lagoon Pool for families is massive with loads of sunbeds. The beach bar is wonderful for light bites and also sunset. The staff are all first class.
I can 100% recommend this hotel and it’s very near the airport and just walking distance to the port.
