"The service was wonderful. The staff were genuinely friendly, not just smiling because they had to. I had an issue with my room, and it was resolved very quickly and with great kindness. The hotel is located close to a market with several restaurants and two supermarkets, one of which is open 24 hours a day. It is also very close to Sea Life and the roller coaster attractions, making it a great choice for families and anyone planning to visit those areas. If your main goal is to visit the city centre, there are several bus routes and a tram stop right in front of the hotel. You can also rent a bike or an e-scooter and enjoy the ride through the park, which is a lovely option in good weather. If the weather is bad, the location is less convenient for getting to the city centre. However, when it isn't raining or extremely cold, the location is excellent and offers a much quieter, greener environment. One feature I really liked was the hotel's fantastic guest kitchen. I didn't use it myself, but it looked ideal for families travelling with children or for anyone planning a longer stay. The hotel also has a gym, a lovely rooftop terrace, and complimentary laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes free of charge. There is also a sauna and a steam room, which are a great bonus after a day of sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with children or for travellers who don't need to be in the city centre all the time and would rather enjoy the surrounding parks and forests while still having easy access to the main attractions."

"The room was comfortable, though not luxurious. I was initially worried about the lack of a shuttle, so I specifically confirmed with Ctrip and indeed, there was one. The shuttle ride takes about 15-20 minutes."

"Very close to the airport, and they offer a free shuttle service. The room was quite small; we booked a triple room, and each single bed was only about 1 meter wide. We could only open our 28-inch suitcase by the room entrance, blocking the entire walkway. The hotel might have been recently renovated as there was still a slight odor in the room, but since we were only transiting for a few hours, it didn't bother us much. The bathroom drainage wasn't great; water from the shower or sink would flow onto the floor, which needs improvement."

"We had a great stay there. The location is excellent with easiy tram connections and most attractions are walkable. It’s next to a shopping centre so there are lots of options. We arrived very early and couldn’t make use of the early chdckin fee of €20. However, when we returned around 1430, a room was available and we could check in early, still needing to pay the €20 charge. The staff claimed it’s a standard policy and the charge is mandatory. The thing is, we arrived like before 7am and would be glad to pay but they said room wasn’t available. We asked the hotel to call us but then they refused saying they’d be incredibly busy. We were too tired after a long flight and was expecting to get the room at 1430 (just 1.5 hours earlier than the standard) but we were asked to pay. If customers see a real costs to this they’re happy to pay but this is just plainly another way of increasing revenues?!? Quite unapologetic, inhumane and inconsiderate."

"I recently stayed at Scandic Helsinki Airport and had a really pleasant experience overall. The location was unbeatable — literally a short walk from the airport terminal, which made it perfect for my early morning flight. The room was clean and modern, with comfortable beds that made it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day of travel. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout the room, and the stylish design gave the space a cozy, Nordic feel. I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. There was a good variety of options, and it was a great way to fuel up before heading out or heading to the airport. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in/check-out was smooth and efficient. The overall atmosphere felt calm and relaxed, which was perfect between flights If I had one tiny suggestion, it would be that some rooms feel a bit compact — but for an airport hotel that’s typical and didn’t bother me much. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone needing a convenient, clean, and comfortable stay right by the airport — especially for short stays or transit days"

"Our assigned rooms had a terrible location. They were on the second floor, which isn't even directly accessible by elevator. You have to go up to the third floor first, walk a long way across a connecting bridge to another building, and then go down to the second floor. We had two rooms, one for my parents and one for us with the kids, and both were given these inconvenient rooms. Hauling luggage around was a real hassle! The view from the window was just a parking lot, no scenery whatsoever, which was completely different from what was shown in the promotional photos. However, the hotel's overall location is good, right in the lively city center, and the breakfast was also decent!"

"The check in was fast. The room was clean and the location is also near to the airport. For the services. They also have the shuttle bus from hotel to airport which is very convinient to those who are travelers and need to stay near the airport without hussle."

"Highly recommended! Self check-in was very convenient, and the location is fantastic. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Viking Line ferry terminal and tram stop #4, so it was wonderful to be able to return to my room and rest within minutes after a long boat trip. There's an ocean nearby and a supermarket. Most major landmarks are within walking distance, and you can even walk to the central station (if you're sending postcards, you can go to the Posti main post office next to the central station; the Moomin postcards sold at the K Supermarket connected to Posti are cheaper than souvenir shops, though not tax-refundable; Posti also sells Moomin stamps and offers mailing services). The room was comfortable and incredibly well-equipped: a dishwasher, various cutlery, pots and pans, a refrigerator, an electric oven (not sure what it's specifically called, but it can microwave, which was super convenient and saved money for heating up food bought from the supermarket), and laundry detergent pods... Hairdryers, irons, and other items can be borrowed from the service station on each floor. There are free washing machines and dryers on the first floor; just sign up for a slot by writing down your room number (it's a good idea to sign up in advance as they're quite popular). There's a sauna on the seventh floor – you can wear a swimsuit and bring a towel. It has lockers, a hairdryer, and restrooms. Definitely worth trying out! The first floor actually has many free facilities, such as a kitchen, a game room (I ended up taking photos here instead of my room 😂), an office, and meeting rooms. Next door, there's a large gym that guests can use for free, but I didn't have time to try it out this trip. Also, if you buy drinks, you can save the bottles and cans to recycle at the nearby K Supermarket. There's a recycling machine in the corner of the supermarket where you can get back the container deposit charged for drinks!"
