"Location: The location is absolutely fantastic! Downstairs, you'll find a pedestrian street, and the Shuncheng Shopping Center is right there. There are also about half a dozen other malls nearby, making dining and getting drinks incredibly convenient.
Service: The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were given a high-floor room, and the breakfast was quite good – they even provided a complimentary breakfast for our child. We didn't get a chance to try the late-night congee, but I imagine it would have been good too.
Cleanliness: The cleaning staff were very enthusiastic and did a thorough and clean job.
There's also a large Miniso and Mixue Ice Cream & Tea downstairs, which are always bustling with people. It's a great spot for families with kids."

"I arrived at the airport late the night before, but the hotel's pick-up service was perfectly arranged. The driver was already waiting, and even proactively helped with my luggage, completely saving me the hassle of finding a taxi in the middle of the night. Upon arrival, front desk staff member #6 was incredibly friendly and polite, and check-in was very efficient. She also thoughtfully informed me of all the important details. After a long and tiring journey, the warm and thoughtful service from the staff made me feel so much better, and the room environment was also excellent. The overall service was impeccable, I highly recommend this hotel! It will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Kunming!"

The hotel is located in the Dongfengyun art town composed of vineyards, lavender fields and a large number of post-modern buildings. The hotel has built a post-modern building complex composed of red bricks and smooth curves, with many guest rooms, 3 restaurants and a lobby bar, a 400-square-meter indoor conference room, and a 1,300-square-meter outdoor swimming pool. The beautiful lake shore and the rolling mountains form a unique and dreamy blending scene.
"The hotel's exterior environment is quite good, and the service response is very prompt. For example, having a car shuttle to scenic spots felt really nice.
But!! Basic hygiene must be done properly, right?! Otherwise, everything else is just superficial and showy, adding no value whatsoever! It only gives an impression of being flashy but impractical, a real drawback.
But what's most frustrating is the cleanliness of the room. We stayed for 2 nights, and on both the first and second nights, the bathroom drain was clogged, leading to flooding. The second night was particularly bad; the sewage was truly disgusting. For a suite costing over 3000 a night, this situation is truly speechless. This is Yunnan, not…
We carefully examined it and believe there are two issues: 1. Inadequate daily cleaning, not thoroughly clearing hair and other debris left by the previous guests; 2. A design flaw in the hotel room. The room outside the bathroom, which has a bathtub, surprisingly lacks a floor drain. If it gets wet, there's no way for the water to drain.
I initially thought the service was good, but when I checked out and reported the issue, there was no indication of any willingness to improve, just an apology. So, indeed, the service was just mediocre.
I'm a local and have stayed in many hotels. I had hoped to bring my family here for a good time and relaxation, but I didn't expect this hotel to have such hygiene problems. I sincerely hope Yunnan can have truly world-class international hotels, and I hope for improvements!"

"I used to think InterContinental had great service, but Pullman surprisingly surpassed it. I was torn between Jinmao and Pullman this time, and I'm so glad I chose Pullman. It was unexpectedly good, with every request met. The male front desk staff who attended to me was especially patient and understanding, really taking care of guests. I experienced two downpours in Lijiang, and thanks to the Pullman front desk staff, I confidently extended my stay. (The hotel is truly lucky to have such an attendant; he deserves recognition.)
P.S.: There's one thing, though. The prices on the Trip.com platform fluctuate wildly. Hotel prices naturally rise during the summer, but the same room would be 1200+ today and then 2500+ the next. This led me to book another standard room at a higher price, only for the deluxe room I was staying in to drop in price later. I don't understand this pricing strategy, which made it impossible to simply extend my stay. As a decades-long customer, I suggest you really pay attention to this, as some guests, like me, dislike changing rooms, and this really dampens the mood. It practically forces customers to switch hotels. I hope the platform takes this seriously. In the current economic climate, considering things from the consumer's perspective is crucial for long-term success. Finally, I wish the hotel continued success, and that all staff continue to be so well-trained. Highly recommended."

"Five stars, highly recommended! This is an old, established state guesthouse in Kunming that you absolutely must stay at. Its heritage, views, and service are all top-notch.
The location is unbeatable, directly facing Cuihu Park. Open the French windows and you're greeted with lake views and weeping willows. In autumn and winter, you can even spot red-billed gulls. Yunnan University and the Yunnan Military Academy are within walking distance, making it convenient for exploring the old city without much travel.
The hotel's design was partly conceived by I.M. Pei, blending new Chinese style with retro Art Deco. The lobby's gilded lotus sculpture, rosewood carvings, and vintage staircase create an incredible ambiance. The gardens are tranquil and elegant, and every photo you take captures the unique, understated elegance of a historic five-star hotel.
Service is gentle, understated, and perfectly balanced, never intrusive. "🚗: The hotel offers airport transfer, just book in advance. We had an early 6 AM departure, and the front desk proactively called us around 5:40 AM to remind us. The car was a small van.
🍽️: We didn't have a chance to try the late-night dining, but the hotel is located in town, so we could order takeout and had plenty of food options.
🎁: The room came with disposable face towels, small snacks, an air purifier, and there was even water available for guests in the hallway. Thoughtful touches everywhere.

"We chose Mile over Jianshui for a few days' relaxation primarily because we discovered the newly opened Holiday Inn there. Our five-day stay at the Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations. First off, this is a proper hotel, not one of those trendy simplified versions. What I mean is that its design and concept are genuinely geared towards providing guests with top-notch accommodation and service. The hotel boasts numerous public facilities: a bright and spacious lobby, an elegant little bar and lounge area, a kids' play corner, a starlit swimming pool, two hot spring pools with different temperatures, and a self-service laundry room. And then there's the restaurant – I absolutely have to mention it! The chef prepares a super rich breakfast every day, always with new surprises. I'm guessing the head chef is a master from Guangdong, though he told me he's from Yunnan. As for the rooms, they are large, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed, sheets, and duvet are all high-quality. What truly reflects the hotel's quality are the in-room furnishings: the Holiday Inn has chosen truly comfortable chairs and sofas, the kind you can relax in while reading or listening to music. The most valuable asset of this hotel, however, is its entire staff. Every single person is friendly and polite, genuinely caring for each guest. A big thank you to Xiao Ji at the front desk, Nancy at the bar, KoKo at the restaurant, and the ever-present Gavin and Jennifer, along with their entire team. The hotel's location is opposite Honghe Water Village. We walked to Dahou Park every day for a stroll, visited nearby coffee shops, tried various restaurants, and after dinner, headed to Honghe Water Village to enjoy the bustling atmosphere. We are very much looking forward to staying at this hotel again next time. Highly recommend this excellent place."

"While the hotel room facilities are a bit dated, with old carpets and a slightly cramped bathroom with only one sink, the strong water pressure made for a comfortable shower. The air conditioning was just okay, and the soundproofing was decent. As an older five-star hotel, Wanda Vista truly shines in its service. Front desk manager Mr./Ms. Yang was kind and friendly, helping us arrange an extended stay and providing excellent advice and assistance with our Yunnan travel plans. The front desk is often a guest's first impression, and we're very grateful to Mr./Ms. Yang for starting our stay off so well. The restaurant's breakfast offered a good variety, and the taste was acceptable. The breakfast staff were incredibly sincere and service-oriented in their greetings and assistance. I even noticed one or two pregnant staff members in the breakfast area who were still meticulously and efficiently going about their work. The executive lounge didn't have a huge selection of dishes, but everything was fresh and replenished promptly. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly, and the room was kept clean. "The environment is beautiful and clean, and the architecture is very Dai-style! It's an Southeast Asian-style hotel, which I love! Staying for two nights was super convenient! The service attitude is excellent, with one-on-one service to help you get familiar with the hotel, assist with luggage, and call taxis for dining, parks, and temples – everything is very convenient! Plus, about a hundred meters to the right of the hotel, there's a local market where fruits are very cheap, so skip the touristy spots!"

Anonymous UserI recently stayed at this brand-new hotel (opened in 2024), and it was such a nice experience. If you want a place with lots of extras, this is it. They have two pool tables, a small rooftop pool, and two gyms—one for yoga and Pilates with all the equipment, and another with treadmills, bikes, free weights, and even a Smith machine. There’s also a laundry room with washers, which was really handy.
The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, but you’ll want to arrive early to get the best selection. The staff were all very friendly, but Fei Xiu (绯袖) on WeChat was especially helpful—she answered all my questions quickly and made everything easy.
The location isn’t right on the riverbank near the Starlight Market, but it’s not far from tourist spots either. It’s actually in a good spot if you want a quieter stay while still being close enough to everything.
If you’re looking for a modern, well-equipped hotel with great service, I’d definitely recommend this one!

Choosing the Adaman Hotel by Mingyoo Li Cheng was absolutely the best decision I made for this Xishuangbanna trip. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the corridors enveloped in tropical greenery, exuding an exotic vibe. Every snapshot I took turned into a stunning, atmospheric photo. The room was spacious and cozy, with smart controls throughout, making everything super convenient. The bedding was incredibly soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a wonderfully restful sleep every night.
The location is also fantastic – close to the airport, which makes getting around a breeze. Whether you want to escape the crowds for some peaceful time or explore Xishuangbanna's beautiful sights, this place is perfectly suited. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Xishuangbanna!

Upon checking in, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. This kind gesture right at the beginning set a wonderfully comfortable tone for our entire stay. What surprised us even more was the meticulous consideration shown by our butler, Elin. Without us ever mentioning it, you noticed our preference for pillow comfort and proactively made adjustments and provided care. I particularly want to extend my sincerest gratitude to the entire concierge team. During a heavy rain shower, you had already arranged a parking area for us in advance when we returned. You even drove a shuttle bus to the entrance to pick us up and take us back to our room. Despite the intense rain, your staff consistently braved the weather to assist us, even thoughtfully retrieving seat cushions from our car while getting soaked themselves. This dedication, coupled with such warm human touch, will always remain in our hearts.
What moved us the most was the birthday surprise for my mother. We never proactively mentioned her birthday, yet the hotel meticulously noted it and discreetly arranged birthday decorations and a cake in our room. This unexpected romance and thoughtfulness not only brought immense joy to my mother but also made our family feel at home in a foreign land, becoming the most cherished memory of our Lijiang trip.
From check-in to check-out, from the seamless coordination by Guest Relations to the detailed care from the housekeeping department, and the steadfast dedication of the concierge team in all weather conditions, every staff member in every role demonstrated the essence of Banyan Tree's service with their professionalism and genuine care. The snow-capped mountains and courtyards of Lijiang are beautiful, but even more captivating than the scenery is your unparalleled and meticulous service.

AggieThe room was very clean, and the host was super friendly and helpful with luggage. There's also a Samoyed named Mitsu who is incredibly friendly; my kids absolutely adored her and couldn't bear to leave. The dog was very clean and well-behaved. Overall, the guesthouse was very quiet.

There are all sorts of small animals, and the three dogs are very well-behaved and cute – they even pose for pictures! The room comes with diffused oxygen supply and a humidifier, which is great. I turned on the underfloor heating at night and it got really warm, even though it was only 9 degrees Celsius outside; I could still wear a T-shirt indoors! The floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views. The big TV also has subscriptions, so watching movies was a breeze, which is a big plus! I tried the ******* costume photoshoot at the hotel; the price was reasonable, and the photos turned out beautifully. It was also very efficient and hassle-free, super convenient! The hotel has charging piles; you just need to contact the butler to swipe your card to charge. I had Americano coffee every day, which suited me perfectly! The butlers' service was excellent too! 👍

Guest UserAlthough Xi Shuang Ban Na UrCove claims they are a smoke-free hotel, from what I have seen this is not really true. I suggest People who are allergic to cigarette smoke or have health issues related to cigarette smoke definitely go somewhere else. I saw guests as well as hotel employees openly smoking in the front lobby of this hotel. Front desk clerks and supervisor saw this but not only said nothing to the offenders but when I complained about this, the front desk clerk ignored me and glared at me for complaining.
Bedroom: very spacious and clean. beddings and sheets were very clean and comfortable.
Toilet: was a very new style and with a temperature toilet seat
Shower area: It was a disaster. The glass panel dividing the toilet and the shower area was poorly installed, so water from the shower area leaked everywhere. It was quite dangerous because the floor outside the shower was a smooth piece of floor tile. My wife almost slipped and fell down. We immediately told the front desk that night, and all they did was send someone to wipe up the water that's all. There was no follow-up after that.
Breakfast: This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever been to regarding breakfast. The majority of the breakfast items were Chinese food which I have no complaints about, although I do not eat Chinese breakfast. The biggest problem was, when we went for breakfast after 9:15 am there were lots of emptied food containers and plates which was used to hold breakfast food items. Breakfast was supposed to end at 10:00 am. 9:15 am NO croissant, Not even a simple slice of bread which I can make toast with. I also checked the Chinese food items and lots of containers were emptied as well. I then went to ask a staff where I could at least get a piece of bread. Her answer was, there isn't anymore sliced bread and what you see is what you get. There was hardly anything to eat?!?!?! I was furious and I demanded to have a couple of pieces of sliced bread. In the end, kitchen staff Mr. Wang came to my rescue and cooked me and my wife each two fried eggs. On top of it, Mr. Wang went out to get me sliced bread from outside the hotel so that my wife will at least have something to eat for breakfast. On the second day of breakfast, there was no coffee after 9:15 am as the coffee machine went into cleaning mode for at least half an hour. The chief of Chef did end up helping me to get a cup of coffee but from what I can see, this hotel is NOT ready to receive international guests.
Totally disappointed in the Urcove Xi Shuang Ban Na. Totally not the Hyatt standard at all. I really believe Hyatt management in Texas really should not take the risk of damaging their great brand by letting this hotel be branded with Hyatt's Name. The way this Xi Shuang Ban Na Urcove is operating, they are worse than locally managed/owned hotels.

厕所：非常新式，配有恒温马桶座
淋浴区：简直是一场灾难。分隔厕所和淋浴区的玻璃板安装不当，所以淋浴区的水到处漏水。这是非常危险的事，因为淋浴外的地板是一块光滑的地砖。我的妻子差点滑倒。我们当晚立即告诉前台，他们所做的只是派人擦干水而已。之后就没再跟进。
早餐：这是我住过最差的酒店。大部分早餐都是中餐，虽然我不吃中式早餐，但我也没有抱怨。最大的问题是，我们早上 9:15 之后去吃早餐，有很多空的食物容器和盘子，早餐盘很多是空的。早餐应该在 10:00 结束。9:15 已经没有羊角包，甚至连一片可以用来烤土司的面包都没有。我还检查了中餐食物，发现很多容器也被清空了。然后我去问工作人员，我可以在哪里找到一片面包。她的回答是，没有切片方包了，你看到的就只这些。没有其他的可以食！！！！我非常生气，重新要求几片切片面包。最后，厨房工作人员王先生给我们帮忙，他给我和我妻子每人煎了两个鸡蛋。王先生还从酒店外面帮我拿了切片面包，这样我和妻子至有点早餐可以食。第二天早餐时，早上 9:15 之后就没有咖啡了，因为咖啡机进行自动清洗，至少半个小时处于清洁模式。主厨最终帮我拿了一杯咖啡，但在我看来，这家酒店根本没有准备好接待国际旅客。
这次景洪告荘星光夜市逸扉酒店入住经验非常差。完全不符合凯悦的标准。我真的认为凯悦管理层不应该冒险让这家酒店打上凯悦的名字，从而损害他们的品牌形象。这家 西双版纳景洪告荘星光夜市逸扉酒店 的经营及管理模式，比当地管理/当地投资的酒店还远远不如。凯悦Hyatt 总公司真应该尽快管理好这家酒店免得影响Hyatt 品牌。

It's right inside Lijiang Ancient Town! As soon as you step out, you're on cobblestone streets. You can walk to Sifang Street in just 5 minutes. After exploring the night market, you can just stroll back to the hotel – no need for a taxi at all, which makes you feel super safe 💯.
🏠 The facilities are unbelievably complete:
* Smart toilet – Heated seat + automatic flush. No more freezing cold toilet seats in winter!
* Central air conditioning + humidifier – The humidity here is just perfect.
* Full set of toiletries – Not those cheap sample sizes! These are proper branded products, and they smell amazing.
* 24-hour hot water + thermostatic shower – The water pressure is fantastic; showering here is pure bliss 🚿.
* They called us the day before check-in to confirm our itinerary and even sent us a guide for exploring the ancient town 📋.
* The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and upgraded us to a room with a view.
* There's free afternoon tea every day, with flower cakes and Pu'er tea. Sitting in the courtyard soaking up the sun was so chill 🌸.
* When checking out, they even gave us parting gifts (tie-dye and Pu'er tea cakes), which was a lovely touch. They also offer a free photography service, including makeup and styling, saving us the trouble of finding a photo studio ourselves!

Guest UserI specifically chose the Lijiang Yundu Homestay for my birthday trip, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations – it truly lived up to the hype.
The homestay's breakfast was incredibly thoughtful and well-prepared. It featured comforting and delicious tomato and egg rice noodles, alongside Western-style toast, fresh fruits, vegetables, and yogurt. The balance of meat and vegetables was perfect, and the flavors were light and palatable. Every breakfast was a delightful and satisfying start to the day. Plus, there's a lovely afternoon tea served daily, which was a very sweet touch. 🥰
The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. I could see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain the moment I looked up, with layers of clouds swirling around the snow-capped peaks. Below, the lush fields and clear water created a beautiful tableau. We could enjoy this stunning natural landscape without even leaving our room. The room itself was spotlessly clean, and the amenities were refined and complete, making for a very comfortable stay.
The staff provided warm and attentive service, taking great care of our entire family throughout our trip. Celebrating my birthday at the foot of the snow mountain, surrounded by beautiful scenery and supported by such thoughtful service, created an incredibly atmospheric and memorable experience.
This high-quality accommodation made our birthday trip extra special and truly complete. It's perfectly suited for families traveling with children, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Lijiang.

Lydia LonIt is my first trip to Kunming and I stayed at Four Points Sheraton City Centre. Upon reaching, i was greeted warmly by Grace, and she gave me and my friend our 2 rooms at the same level, this goes to show the detail and care she put into serving the customers. She also arranged fruits to our room. I have nothing but praises for her.
Our room is clean and spacious, the amenities were really good and well thought out, we fell in love with the hotel. Location wise, is close to Kunming old street and a modern shopping complex with many shops and eateries. There are many food stores right below the hotel.
I met their bell boy Jasper Shen in the lift, he is so humble, polite, helpful and a real fine gentleman who pressed the lifts for me and helped me carry my luggages to my car. It was a joy to see him everyday too.

Guest UserWe had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was spacious, modern, and comfortable, providing plenty of space to relax after a day of sightseeing.
The room service was prompt, efficient, and attentive, with the staff always happy to help. One feature we particularly appreciated was the pillow menu, which offered different types of pillows to suit individual sleeping preferences and made our stay even more comfortable.
The fitness centre was also well equipped, with a good variety of machines and equipment, making it easy to keep up with our workout routine while travelling.
Overall, this is a comfortable and well-managed hotel with excellent service and facilities. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Dali.
