"The Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan truly lives up to its five-star reputation. The rooms are spacious and bright, with excellent amenities, and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom are very convenient. The toiletries, bath towels, and hand towels were all impeccably clean, and the large bath towels were especially comfortable. The lobby is quite grand and impressive. The staff were all very welcoming, especially the gentleman at the front desk who checked me in. He was patient, thorough, and attentive. Since I'm older and have trouble sleeping, I requested a quiet room, and the staff member, whose name tag read 'Qiao,' arranged it perfectly for me. The baggage handlers in the lobby were also very friendly. The Kempinski's management is quite generous; I came back late one night and realized I'd forgotten to buy water, and the front desk immediately arranged for four bottles to be sent to my room. I'm truly grateful for that. The breakfast selection was also quite rich."

"I came to Yinchuan for a business trip alone, but I didn’t expect the hotel to be so cost-effective.
The price is about 200 yuan, the room is about 30 square meters, there is a separate desk, separate bathroom, smart toilet.
The location of the hotel is also good, but there is no entertainment nearby at night. After 11 o'clock, all the stores in this neighborhood are basically closed. You can take a taxi to other places.
The price is still very high, the experience is great"

"This truly lives up to its reputation as Yinchuan's best five-star hotel. First, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, especially the bathroom, which was surprisingly large—it felt even bigger than the bedroom! The shower pressure was fantastic, and the toiletries were a British brand with a lovely, natural scent. The bedding was super comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. They even provided a capsule coffee machine with coffee capsules. The complimentary shoe-shining service was a thoughtful touch, and the in-room internet was fast and reliable.
Secondly, the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of high-quality dishes. The Western pastry selection, especially the flaky croissants, was authentic and delicious. The live cooking stations for Eggs Benedict and egg white rolls are features you typically only find in top-tier five-star hotels. They also had freshly squeezed watermelon juice and rich, high-quality coffee. What really impressed me were the local Ningxia specialties in the Chinese section, such as Jinsi Sanzi, Tangmaya, Tangmaye, fried pastries, and mung bean cakes. The chef even enthusiastically introduced these local delicacies to me. And of course, there were other Ningxia specialties like lamb soup, lamb pies, beef buns, and goji berry yogurt—I was extremely satisfied.
Finally, all the hotel staff provided excellent service, especially the housekeeping attendant on the day I checked in. This lady deserves special commendation for her thoughtful and warm service. The front desk even accommodated my request to keep a room key card, specially giving me a pristine commemorative card.
Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the Ningxia Museum. The JW Marriott Hotel Yinchuan left a wonderful impression on me. Yinchuan truly is a beautiful and friendly city."

"This hotel was the most satisfying hotel of my entire trip. Thank you to the receptionist for the complimentary upgrade to an executive king room. I was surprised to learn that a hotel costing only 200 RMB per night now offers a laundry room, gym, and a rich, clean, and nutritious breakfast. The hotel is fully smart-equipped, aesthetically pleasing, and even has automatic sensor nightlights, which is very thoughtful and considerate for families with elderly members and children. The hotel is located near Yinchuan Railway Station, yet it's not too noisy, making it very quiet for sleeping. If you're just visiting Yinchuan city, it's very convenient for sightseeing and dining; it's only about 15 RMB by taxi to the museum, Lanshan Park, and Huaiyuan Night Market. From here, you can take a taxi to Yinchuan Railway Station for 9 RMB, and then take the high-speed train from Yinchuan Railway Station to Hedong Airport Station, which takes only 20 minutes and costs 15 RMB per person. "This hotel has some standout positives:
1. It's a relatively new hotel, so the facilities are top-notch and the decor is really tasteful.
2. The breakfast included in the package and the complimentary drinks were both great. The ginger-flavored soda was a particular highlight for me.
3. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. When I couldn't find the car park upon arrival, the lady at the front desk gave me such detailed and patient directions, she was like a human GPS!
However, there are a couple of downsides:
1. There's still a slight 'new renovation' smell in the room. It would be great if they provided an air purifier.
2. The laundry room management is a bit chaotic. My clothes were taken out of the dryer before they were even finished! I'd suggest putting up more prominent notices, installing a camera, and providing some clean laundry bags in the laundry room."

The fitness facilities and pool are well-equipped. The front desk staff, both the gentlemen and ladies, were incredibly enthusiastic in recommending local specialty foods and attractions. A special thanks for the late check-out! The floor attendant on the tenth floor was also very professional and friendly. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Yinchuan."

"The bathroom had state of the art facilities. The room was comfortable and well designed. Having a translucent window worked well for me as the room was quiet. The front office and housekeeping staff were competent and polite.
Location is superb. It's on the corner of the Gulou Pedestrian Mall and Xinhua Road. Only the tinu lobby is on the ground floor and the exact entry is not evident. Look for the overhead crossing, the escalators and the Sony shop. There are many places to eat: on the mall, off the mall and all the small lanes."

Guest UserLovely hotel near Wanda Jinfeng mall, surrounded by many pharmacies. The fruit shop downstairs called 小任果 is one of the best fruit chains in Yinchuan with a huge offering of fruits and yoghurt and nuts. We bought these to bring along for our day trips out of Yinchuan. Its nice to stay at Jingfeng district as its quieter than drum tower area.
The lobby has snacks, fruit and drinks all day for guests. Coffee was super !
We used the complimentary washer dryer which is a fabulous amenity.
We appreciated the free pickup at the airport which we arranged 1 day prior by telephone booking from Shanghai. The reception and the breakfast counter staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The toiletries were all upmarket
If there is any con - its the plump cleaning lady at the 3rd floor. She appeared unhappy when we asked her to top up the bath wash when it was low and she forgot to top up. She just handed us a bottle to install ourselves. She also didnt wipe the control panel for the room unlike her colleague who does it when she is on duty so we can see our finger prints still on the glass after housekeeping.
Small issue though. Cos everything else about the hotel was great

Guest UserFacilities: The hotel facilities are very complete. The mineral water and drinks in the room are free. If the mineral water is not enough, you can bring it to the housekeeper at any time. If you need to add it to the room, the coffee and black tea bags and ginger tea bags can be checked. Good, the room is also equipped with two bottles of ad calcium. Very friendly to children
Hygienic: The hotel room is clean and tidy. The beds are all four-piece sets of the gold card brand. They are made of bubble cotton. It is very comfortable. There are also children's slippers and toothbrushes.
Meeting Congee Road: Meeting Zhou Da is also very rich, and the dumpling millet porridge is very rich, and there are snacks and fruits.

WitidaWe came to Yinchuan to visit Helan Rock painting mountain an Xixia tomb so we didn't see downtown that much. The hotel is in the center of the district, near the drum tower, surrounded by stores and restaurants, easily to find everything you need. The staff of the hotel didn't speak English but they're polite and kind. On the day we checked out there's a misunderstanding: they said we had to pay them while we had already prepaid via TRIP.com. We showed them the receipt in Chinese but they couldn't find it in their system. After 15 mins they let us go. We confusedly contacted TRIP customer service and were informed clearly there's no problem at all with our payment. TRIP dealt with the hotel themselves. I wouldn't complain the hotel about this since such thing could happen but I suggest you to always keep the receipt in Chinese and contact TRIP customer service suddenly and let them deal with the hotel, especially if your train is about to leave the station :)

The hotel facilities are new and modern, and the location is excellent with a great view. It's situated right in the city center. The service is professional and attentive, especially Doris, who always puts the customer's interests first. A big thank you again to everyone! From the moment you step into the hotel lobby, the warm reception from the staff makes you feel very cordial, and the smiling service throughout the whole process makes you feel like Mia. The room design is simple and stylish, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the sound insulation is first-class. It is especially satisfying to sleep until you wake up naturally! The bathroom has a good dry and wet separation, and the toiletries have a high-end scent. The hotel is in a very convenient location, with restaurants and convenience stores all around. The breakfast has a rich variety, and the freshly cooked local specialty noodles are impressive. The restaurant waiters will also ask about your needs attentively. Special thanks to the front desk for their thoughtful service. They proactively recommended tourist routes and even helped deliver the luggage to the room. The price-performance ratio is very high.
