"First off, if you're coming to Chongqing, you absolutely must follow navigation, but if you can ask for directions, do so. Navigation software is generally unreliable here. It can't tell which floor you're on. The first floor might be a street, and the 11th floor might also be a street – you never know what floor it's navigating you from.
The location is pretty good. Step out of the building, and the subway entrance is just a couple of steps away. Across the street, there's an entrance to Raffles City. If you're heading to Raffles City, whatever you do, don't use navigation. It'll take you on a huge detour and still won't get you there. In reality, you can see the entrance right after you exit the hotel building.
The hotel lobby is on the 21st floor, and there are many hotel front desks there. Make sure to check which hotel you booked, as it's not the only one located here.
The front desk service attitude is quite good. Check-in time is 2 PM. You can store your luggage. You can also add the hotel's WeChat for direct service requests.
I saw comments about a smoky smell after check-in. I did smell it when I first entered the room too. I looked around and it seemed like someone had lit incense in the bathroom near the door. After running the ventilation for a while, the smell disappeared.
The room itself is generally good, but the stairs are very steep. I wouldn't recommend it for older guests. Both the upper and lower floors have toilets and are equipped with smart toilets. The TV on the first floor requires a membership, and the remote control was a bit sticky. Also, I felt there was a missing stool. I wanted to charge my phone and play games near the mini-fridge but had to stand. The bed on the second floor was very comfortable to sleep in and wasn't damp.
The breakfast buffet is also on the 21st floor. I didn't get a full picture. The variety was decent, but the items were quite common. Given the price, it's very economical and good value for money. They also offer lunch and dinner buffets here, which are similarly affordable.
Overall, for this price point and these conditions, there are no complaints. It's pretty good."

The moment I stepped into the room, I was genuinely wowed. The dark wood finishes paired with warm accent lighting gave it a sophisticated, private apartment vibe, far from the gaudy feel of traditional hotels. The entire space featured an open-plan layout, seamlessly connecting the bed area to the bathtub and vanity, making it feel incredibly spacious and airy.

Located on the 49th floor, it boasts an incredible view directly facing Chaotianmen, with unbeatable river views. The surrounding amenities are complete; the subway and a Lawson convenience store are right downstairs. The room is spacious, and the air purifier keeps the air fresh. The smart toilet is great, and the facilities are comprehensive, even including a small robot to deliver items. The TV also has VIP access. The decor is very grand. Most of the guests staying here were foreigners, and they were all very friendly. The front desk staff also had a wonderful attitude.

The hotel’s location is excellent; it’s right next to a subway station, and there are many attractions nearby, making it very convenient for sightseeing. There’s a 24-hour front desk where you can send WeChat messages if you need anything. The service is excellent. Although it’s been raining in Chongqing these past few days, the hotel provided free umbrellas that could be borrowed. There’s also a coffee machine and microwave in the lobby, which is extremely convenient.

It's a must-visit, especially for the ancient North Hot Springs, which is surrounded by lush greenery and a thousand-year-old hot spring temple. It offers a very serene and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and clearing your mind. Our room had a floor-to-ceiling window directly facing the Qianximen Bridge. It's located right in the Nanchuan Wanda business district, next to Line 3's Gongmao Station, making it super convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Plus, there's a one-stop shop for food and shopping right downstairs. As expected from a Marriott property, the quality is top-notch. The lobby has high ceilings and a strong artistic vibe, and the spiral staircase is fantastic for photos. The rooms are spacious and bright with separate wet and dry areas, and the amenities are premium. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views and stunning nightscapes. Sara and Daisy provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service – always smiling, enthusiastic, and quick to respond. The breakfast spread was excellent, a rich mix of Western and Chinese options, making for a perfect experience. It's ideal for both business trips and leisure travel.
