"Second time staying here, quite like the vibe of the hotel. By the river side of Boston river, quite quiet during the day, but also a popular gathering place at night and on weekends. So you get both the quietness and the crowd. The room is decent sizes, nothing to complain about. And the services are also reasonable. Surely would be my choice if I come back to Boston again. Oh forgot to mention, get a river view room, it's surely worth the price difference."

"Great location on the Wharf and very clean, spacious rooms. The two issues: 1) the service at the front desk and with the valet is quite poor, and 2) the amenities are becoming outdated. The spa (Exhale) is nice, but hotel guests need to pay $60 for a pass to use the sauna and steam. It is not included in the room rate."

Surrounded by museums, major universities and classic Boston landmarks, it's your launchpad for proper New England living. "An excellent hotel! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was absolutely delicious and satisfying. They even didn't mind guests taking a reasonable amount back to their rooms (just don't overdo it!). The room wasn't large, but it was perfectly adequate, and the layout was very efficient for a solo traveler. There's a subway station right downstairs, but it was temporarily closed. Luckily, there's another entrance just across the street. Most importantly, I think this hotel is incredibly friendly for Boston Marathon participants: it's very close to the expo, with two DICK'S Sporting Goods and Lululemon stores nearby, and my 'uncle' (referring to a store/landmark) is right across from the expo. You can walk to the starting line or take two subway stops; since Copley station was closed, it was effectively just one stop to the bag drop-off. After finishing the race and picking up my bag, it was just a short walk to an open subway station. It wasn't blocked off, and it was again two stops (or effectively one) back to the hotel. The Back Bay airport shuttle is also very convenient, about a 500-meter walk from the hotel. The Museum of Fine Arts is within walking distance, and the Charles River is perfect for a run. There's a Chinese restaurant nearby, and Berkeley Noodle House is quite good – the owner is from Guangdong, and she's very nice. Surprisingly, I didn't find the Vietnamese pho to be that great."

"About a ten-minute walk from the subway station. It's not in the city center, but the distance to downtown is still acceptable. The air conditioning in the hotel was terrible. I arrived in late April and still needed the heating on. It was either scorching hot, with the room approaching 30 degrees Celsius, or not warm enough, only 19 degrees. When I asked the front desk staff, their solution was to restart the heating myself. However, after restarting, the heater made an incredibly loud noise, so much so that I needed earplugs to sleep."

"citizenM feels a bit more fun and welcoming compared to other modern hotels. The rooms are still on the smaller side, but they’re super comfortable, especially the big bed that takes up most of the space. Everything is controlled with an iPad—lights, blinds, TV—which is actually pretty cool once you get used to it. The lobby areas are a highlight, with lots of space to hang out, work, or grab a drink. It feels more social than your typical hotel. Overall, it’s a great pick if you like a stylish, relaxed vibe without spending too much."

In Southborough, very close to the company, nice and quiet environment The front desk service was very good. I arrived quite late at night and was given freshly baked cookies, which was very considerate The room was quite large, the two large beds were very comfortable, the bathroom facilities were also good, and the cloakroom was very convenient You can watch Netflix and other movies on the TV for a fee, and there is also cable TV The only drawback is that the coffee machine is very dirty, with dust inside and outside, and needs to be washed before use. The disposable cups and cup lids provided are also covered with dust I don’t know if this room has not been occupied for a long time Please check the hygiene of the room before checking in

The Westin Hotel boasts an excellent location. We booked a river-view room, offering a fantastic panorama of the Charles River and its two bridges, often dotted with sailboats. There are supermarkets of varying sizes right next to the hotel. I also highly recommend visiting the Boston Public Library; you don't need any ID to enter, and you can just grab a book and zone out under a green lamp. The room was spacious and comfortable, and it was the only hotel on this US trip that actually used a duvet cover instead of just two sheets, which made it much cozier. However, I felt both the pillows and duvet weren't down-filled; they seemed more like synthetic fiber, which felt a bit mismatched for a hotel of this caliber. Everything else was fine. Remember to use your daily $20 credit at the small supermarket next to the front desk on the second floor. Also, Wi-Fi is free because it's tied to a destination fee, so no need to worry about that.

Hotel Indigo BOSTON GARDEN by IHG

This Indigo should have just been renovated last year, and Apple's own map shows Holiday Choice. I have stayed a lot at Intercontinental / Crown / Holiday / Smart Choice. This is my first time staying at Indigo. Some places around are under maintenance and a little messy, but there are many restaurants and supermarkets. Get a staple drink for breakfast, a small portion and a bad attitude. There is no garden around this hotel. Why is it called Garden? Because next to TD Garden, which is also the home field of basketball and ice hockey teams, concerts are also held, the price changes a lot, there are often no rooms when there are activities, and it is noisy after leaving at night. It is also next to the North Railway Station and the subway station, but to go to New York from South Station. There is a parking lot and valet parking at the entrance of the hotel. Unfortunately, when I checked in, it was 5 ° C outside, and I changed to the fourth room to heat up. When your room has a small air conditioner as shown in Figure 4, the large air conditioner is likely to be bad, and the small air conditioner may also be bad, much colder than the hallway. The front desk will let people repair it. (Fake decoration) If it is not repaired, it will help you to change. The attitude is good, but I suspect that they already know which rooms have bad air conditioning. The cleaning staff speaks Spanish, not English at all, and requires software translation. In short, you don't need to live here if you don't want to watch the game nearby.

I arrived at the hotel after 11 PM. I had specifically requested a room with a good view when I made the reservation, but the next morning, when I opened the curtains, all I saw was a wall. I was too lazy to change rooms, so I just made do for a few nights. One morning, there was a loud drilling noise at 9 AM that lasted on and off for about an hour. I contacted the front desk, and they just said they'd check on it, but the noise didn't stop, and I never received any follow-up. The room was also very small. On the positive side, the location is excellent; it's convenient to go anywhere and it's connected to a large shopping mall, which is great for shopping and dining. Overall, it's okay, but the front desk service could use improvement.

My stay at the Boston Copley Place Marriott in a River View King Room was a terrible experience. I arrived late at night and, after checking in, was assigned a room right next to the elevator. Throughout the night, the elevator frequently started and stopped, creating a constant and noticeable buzzing vibration and operational noise. The soundproofing was extremely poor, and the incessant noise made it impossible to get any restful sleep, severely impacting my rest quality. The front desk clearly thought I was an easy target, putting me in such a subpar room despite the price I paid. The room assignment was completely unreasonable and showed no consideration for guest comfort. My overall stay was unpleasant, and this experience was just as disappointing as my last one. I advise friends to always request a room far away from the hotel elevators, or else the staff will take advantage of you.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the subway, which is quite convenient, and the area is very quiet. On the second floor, there's an ice machine, a water dispenser, and a microwave, all very handy. There are also coin-operated washing machines and dryers. The only downside was that the bathroom kept flooding, and it took two requests for them to fix it, which was a bit frustrating.

YOTEL is honestly a pretty cool place if you’re into modern, no-frills stays. The rooms are small, but they’re designed really smartly, so it doesn’t feel too cramped. I liked the adjustable bed and the overall vibe—it feels kind of futuristic. The self-check-in is quick, though it can feel a bit impersonal. It’s in a great location, which makes getting around easy. That said, it’s probably not the best if you want lots of space or a super cozy feel. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a short, convenient stay.
