"Dear Hotel Management, I recently stayed at your hotel for two days and overall had a comfortable experience. However, I unfortunately lost a valuable item (a necklace) during my stay. I am writing this because I had some difficulty communicating smoothly with the hotel staff regarding this matter. On the evening of the 20th, I placed my necklace on the desk and did not wear it while touring on the 21st. Thinking my companion had packed it, I only realized it was missing after checking out, and I contacted the hotel immediately. When I called, the hotel simply stated that they checked and found nothing, without offering to contact me if it is found later. If the hotel finds the lost item later, please contact me via email.

"This stay was absolutely perfect! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was spotless, with no unpleasant odors, and the bedding was so soft I slept incredibly well. The bathroom was clean and sparkling. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were quick, and the staff were friendly and patient, responding promptly to any requests. The soundproofing was great; it was very quiet at night, allowing for a fantastic rest. For the price, the value for money is outstanding. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely book here again for my next trip!"

"Fantastic 9-night stay! Perfect location, super clean, and amazing amenities. I stayed here for 9 nights (August 20–29) and had a flawless experience. 5 stars all around! Location: Absolutely bombastic! It is incredibly close to Dotonbori and right next to Nippombashi Station, making dining, shopping, and traveling around Osaka extremely convenient. Room & Cleanliness: The hotel is exceptionally clean. The room comes well-equipped with high-quality shampoo and a good hair dryer. Amazing Amenities: I loved the amenity bar where you can pick up extra coffee, green tea, shaving kits, and even skincare products. On the 2nd floor, there is a super convenient ice machine and 3 washing machines (600 yen per load), which was perfect for a longer stay. Service: The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. "I had good experience at Royal Park Canvas Hotel in Sapporo last year. Therefore this time in Osaka, I chose the same brand again. This Osaka Royal Park Canvas hotel’s standard remains high. Overall cleanliness, room upkeep and location are ideal. I like the idea that this hotel is in business district which makes it less crowded and quiet. Yet there’s a family mart right next to our hotel entrance. We enjoyed visiting it every night during our stay. I highly recommend Royal Park Canvas hotel’s chain. The little setback I experienced was one of the front desk staff is not friendly and showed me a frustrated face."

"This is my second time staying at Sobial Namba Daikokucho. I first stayed here when it opened in 2020, and six years later, it's still as clean and well-maintained as ever, both in terms of facilities and service. **Pros and Cons:** * **Location:** 5/5. Just a short walk from Daikokucho Station, making it super quick to get to Namba and Shinsaibashi. There are two large supermarkets nearby, Life and Gyomu Super, which are very convenient for shopping and daily needs. * **Room:** 4.5/5. The rooms have a MUJI-style aesthetic. The main light can be adjusted by remote control, which is a nice touch. The room itself is compact, but the bathroom and intelligent toilet areas are spacious. * **Dining:** 5/5. The seafood breakfast is a must-try! The sashimi comes directly from Kizu Market and is incredibly fresh. The price for rooms including breakfast is excellent. There's also complimentary self-service coffee on the first floor. * **Facilities:** 4.5/5. There's an outdoor public bath for men, a smoking room on the first floor, and a self-service area for toiletries. They often have joint promotions with JR, offering tickets. **Things to Note:** Check-out is at 10 AM, and luggage storage is not available after check-out, so please keep this in mind. **Summary:** This hotel offers incredibly convenient transportation and attention to detail in its amenities, making it a very reliable choice for independent travelers visiting Osaka."

"Location: If you're coming from Kansai Airport, taking the Nankai Rapid Express to Namba and then dragging your luggage to the hotel is a bit of a trek, about 1km I'd say? I heard taking the bus is better. But the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Just 100 meters outside, you're in the busiest area of Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. Every day after exploring, you can just step downstairs and enjoy all sorts of delicious food. Room: The room isn't huge, but I could half-open my 28-inch suitcase. Although it's a bit older, it's very clean! The only issue is that the curtains don't block out the light completely, so I was woken up by the sunlight in the morning. I should have worn an eye mask. Breakfast: It's alright, enough to fill you up. If you're rushing out to explore every day, it's worth booking. The restaurant isn't very big and can get crowded sometimes. A big plus is that children under 12 eat for free! Service: My room was right opposite the linen room, but I stayed for 3 nights and didn't hear a single sound from the staff, which was impressive! I couldn't use WeChat Pay for the washing machine, so I called the front desk to complain. To my surprise, a staff member proactively came to my room to help me operate it. When it still didn't work, they went back and forth to help me resolve the issue. Surroundings: Many reviews mentioned the red-light district at night. I also brought my 12-year-old daughter, and we came back very late every night, but we found it to be fine. This area is very lively; there are still many people out and about at midnight. You can find places like a century-old oden stand and the popular white chicken broth ramen, as well as convenience stores and Don Quijote. I'm very satisfied! Downside: There are too few washing machines."

"Great location, close to Kitahama Station on the Sakaisuji Line, making it convenient for getting around. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the hotel, though the room was a bit small and felt a little cramped. The duvet seemed a bit damp, not quite dry. The American breakfast offered a good variety, which I personally enjoyed."

Conveniently located near Dotonbori♪ 1 minute walk from the Glico sign and Dotonbori. All rooms are separate type. We recommend the bathroom where you can stretch your legs! Enjoy a safe, secure and comfortable stay. Approximately 3 minutes walk from Exit 14 of Osaka Metro Namba Station, approximately 5 minutes walk from Exit 4-B of Shinsaibashi Station.

"Pleasantly surprised at how convenient this hotel is to the shopping malls and the famous Dotonbori district, all within short walking distances. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is yummy with a fairly wide selection of food and beverages. Would highly recommend Cross Hotel to especially shopaholics as no transportation needed. The malls are literally ”outside” the hotel."

The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan

We chose this hotel for our trip to Universal Studios, and it's conveniently located not far from the park entrance, making coming and going very easy. There are plenty of dining options nearby, as well as Universal Studios merchandise stores. The day we arrived happened to be a Japanese holiday, so it was incredibly crowded. Check-in started at 3 PM, and we had to wait in line for a long time. The hotel is quite large and even has a Family Mart convenience store inside, which was great since we didn't book breakfast. We booked a city view room, but the front desk gave us a room on the 4th floor, so there was basically no view outside the window. For Japan, the room was quite spacious. Overall, it was convenient for accessing Universal Studios.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The location is great, very close to Kansai Airport, and there are many shops nearby. However, this hotel is a bit inferior to the one next door, which is probably why it's also cheaper. A special warning: room 2226, I don't know if it's because it's on a corner or something, but the noise from the train passing below is incredibly loud. At first, I thought it was an airplane taking off. After a lot of investigation, I realized it was the train. The soundproofing is very poor; you can clearly hear cars driving by downstairs and even police sirens. The train noise, in particular, is so loud you can hear it clearly even from the hallway outside the door. Since I'm a light sleeper, I couldn't stand it at all. After communicating with the hotel twice, the front desk lady finally helped me change to a room on the 21st floor. I could still hear some noise, but it was much quieter and didn't affect my sleep much at night. However, after this experience, I probably won't stay here again. It would be better to pay a little more and stay at the SIS next door.

The location is fantastic, right outside the JR station and a 5-minute walk from Universal Studios Japan's entrance. There's a convenience store and shops downstairs – a perfect choice. We even went back to the hotel to rest when it got too hot at Universal Studios, then re-entered in the evening to continue the fun. After a long day of walking, a relaxing bath and soak at the top floor spa in the evening was exactly what we needed to unwind. Everything was perfect, except for the crowds – too many people at breakfast and in the showers.

Having a washing machine right in the room is super handy if you need to do laundry. There are also plenty of massage spots nearby, which is nice! If it’s your first time visiting Osaka and you wanna stay around Shinsaibashi, this place is a solid choice. One big issue though: I extended my stay for 2 more nights through Trip.com. When I approached them l, they asked me for 2,000. What I meant is that when it came to the single room I originally booked, they told me they were out of space and tried to make me pay extra to upgrade. Like, my booking was already confirmed! How can you just turn around and say the room type is fully booked? Normally, the hotel should give you a free upgrade in a situation like this, not demand more cash. It wasn’t my fault to begin with.

Right next to the busiest tourist area in Osaka and with access to large number of facilities., Spaworld is surely a top choice to stay. But actually, the day ticket only costs 1500 yen and overnight staying fee is 1300 yen, which means you don't really need to stay in the hotel to use everything and stay for a night, kind of like a SPA net cafe. The plus for using the hotel is that you allow yourself to enter anytime you want.

The location is conveniently located between shinsaibashi and namba station. It is not too noisy and crowded in the area. Location was amazing for shopping, whenever we had too much to carry we would head back to drop everything off and take a quick rest. There are many great food options nearby like ichiran, okonomiyaki ajinoya hoten, onigiri gorichan, gyukatsu motomura and idaten. The room had ample space for our 4 huge luggages and 3 cabin luggages. The room might be slightly dark but there is sunlight in the morning. The toilet bowl, bathtub/shower area and sink is in individual rooms. It may be convenient or inconvenient for some. However for the room we stayed in, we struggled to find areas to hang our clothes while showering as there was no hooks to hang them in the shower area. The soundproofing is not the best but not too noisy. The hotel breakfast is great! I loved the corn soup, rice, curry and their eggs. Their croissant is fragrant and tasty too. They had a wide spread of salad that rotates. They had salmon avocado salad, wagyu beef salad and pork with carrot sauce salad (my favourite). They had yogurt and fruits too. They also had a small gym and a lounge with a pool table.

Staying at Hotel Granvia Osaka was such a pleasant experience! The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of Osaka, with shopping, restaurants and eateries all around, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. What I loved most is how central it is for travelling beyond Osaka too. With Osaka Station right there, it’s so easy to head out to places like Kyoto, Kobe and Kurashiki without wasting time getting across the city. A special shout-out to Don at the hotel, whose service was truly top-notch. He spoke excellent English, was incredibly accommodating and made me feel very well taken care of. The hotel even upgraded my room for free, which was such a lovely surprise! And for Pokémon fans — this is a bonus I absolutely loved! 😍 The Pokémon Center is just on the 13th floor, so you can literally pop down whenever you feel like browsing or shopping. Overall, a fantastic base for an Osaka trip — excellent location, wonderful service, comfortable stay and plenty of shopping and dining right at your doorstep. Would definitely stay here again!

If you love exploring towns on foot, this place is a perfect fit for you. I had already visited Osaka Castle and the Dotonbori River before, so this time I wanted to explore a new area. The Tennoji area, which is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, has many attractions. For example, there's Tsutenkaku (a tower with an observation deck), and the Shinsekai area, which is full of local shops and gives you the feeling of stepping back in time to 40 or 50 years ago. Right next to these areas, there’s a large park that includes a zoo, a museum, and a historical mansion built in the Edo period. Shrines and temples can be found all around as well. The hotel is in a convenient location for walking around these spots. Since the hotel has a Buddhist theme, the interior isn’t luxurious, but it’s neat and clean. The room I stayed in (a superior single) had everything I needed. If you’re traveling with a large suitcase for a week-long trip, you might find it a bit tight to open it fully in the room, but it's spacious enough for 2–3 days' worth of luggage. It was also quiet at night. They provide many free amenities in the room, such as sandals for areas outside the tatami(green in the room photoes) space, a pair of socks, tea bags, a bottle of water, a toothbrush, and more. If you go out at night, note that the entrance door closes at 11 p.m., but you can still enter by tapping your room key on the reader next to the door. However, there is no front desk staff available late at night. I actually wanted to ask about a machine in the room (maybe an air purifier or humidifier) around 11 p.m., and tried calling the front desk, but no one answered. I hope they consider having at least one night staff member available. That was the only point I thought could be improved. As I didn’t add the (vegetarian) breakfast option, I bought some food near Ebisucho Station and kept it in the fridge in my room. There are many restaurants, convenience stores, and delis that stay open late, so you won’t have any trouble finding food. After checking out in the morning, I left my luggage at the hotel and walked to a café about 10 minutes away. I planned to explore the area afterward. I expected cooler weather because it was cloudy, so I wore a long-sleeved shirt, but it got warmer than expected. I decided to go back to the hotel to change clothes. The front desk staff was very kind and showed me to a large restroom where I could take off my shoes and put stuffs— very helpful! Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends when they visit Osaka.
