"The room was unexpectedly clean and there was no bad taste. The whole hotel in winter may have a few rooms with guests, but it is very quiet and comfortable. The hotel restaurant can also try traditional dishes. The room didn't even have a kettle and no water. I had to go to the bar to buy it. The bar can have tea and a little wine, super beautiful at sunset
There are really no shops in the town in winter, and even a meal and a bread have to be eaten at lunch and dinner time. The only advantage is that you can take any photo and you can't see one."

"This hotel is excellent! The overall experience was really good. It's conveniently located, making getting around a breeze, and there are plenty of restaurants and amenities nearby. "The front desk double-checked me in, which was a bit annoying. The bathroom hygiene was just okay; there were stains on the toilet seat, and the toothbrush provided was already unsealed. I suspect they forgot to clean the bathroom. Everything else was fine, though."

GGuest UserIt was a very clean accommodation and plenty of towels were provided.
It was a little inconvenient because laundry was done in a shared facility on the 5th floor, and I was a little disappointed that they assigned me a room with a rear view without even asking how many rooms had a view of the Sagrada. There is a rest area and a pool on the rooftop, so it would be nice when the weather is nice. The location is far from major tourist attractions, so it's a bit inconvenient to take the subway every day, so if I had to do it again, I think I'd pick it near Plaza Catalunya.

We arrived late on our first day and didn't have time to buy water, so the hotel gave us a bottle, which was very nice! We booked a standard double room, but it had a small balcony overlooking the pool and outdoor restaurant. The view was lovely.
The security was also very good; nothing was lost during our several nights. We also noticed that the automatic door at the entrance was manually controlled by the front desk, so unauthorized people wouldn't be able to get in.

SSelimmmI recently stayed at Masd Mediterraneo Hotel Apartamentos Spa in Castelldefels, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The location is ideal—right across from the beach, with beautiful sea views and a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. The area feels safe and quiet but still offers good access to restaurants and shops within walking distance.
The hotel itself is modern and well-maintained. I stayed in one of the apartments, which was spacious, clean, and equipped with a kitchenette—great for longer stays. The bed was very comfortable, and the balcony overlooking the sea was a highlight. The Wi-Fi worked reliably, and the air conditioning was effective and quiet.

We booked a room with two beds, but they actually gave us one with three beds, which made it hard to find space for luggage. On the plus side, the location is convenient for getting taxis anywhere. The hotel lobby is nicely decorated and feels cozy, and the breakfast offers a good variety of options. The room amenities, like shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion, are all NUXE brand, and they smell quite good.

GGuest UserWe stayed in sant cugat b&b hotel as it is less expensive compared to city price. We use uber to go around to nearby restaurants in sant cugat and to train station and it's quite reliable. The nearest station to the hotel is sant joan fgc and you can buy t 10 tickets to take S2 train to Pl Catalyuna where all the attractions are in walking or bus range. Buses are so cheap and you can use monzo or debit cards.

GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious; my friend and I had no problem opening up both our suitcases. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent, making showers and hair washing quite comfortable. The location is pretty good too – a bit far from the subway but there's a bus stop right outside. It's super convenient for getting to Casa Milà, Casa Batlló, and Sagrada Família. The area feels safe, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. The staff were very friendly and spoke English fluently, so communication was a breeze.
However, there were a few issues. Firstly, there was no shower curtain for the bathtub, so the bathroom floor was soaked every time we showered, and it got quite chilly after a while. Secondly, the duvet didn't have a proper cover; instead, two sheets were used above and below it, and all three layers were tucked in so tightly under the mattress by the staff that we had to struggle to pull the duvet out every night. We ended up asking the front desk not to make our beds for the rest of our stay. Though, I hear this duvet cover situation might be common in Europe. Lastly, the soundproofing was really poor. We were lucky our neighbors weren't too noisy, and my friend and I aren't particularly sensitive to sound, but you could honestly hear every little thing happening next door. All in all, it was a mixed bag, but for the price and location, we couldn't really expect much more.

GGuest UserThis was my very first time planning a solo trip abroad, and I was admittedly quite anxious after paying the full price and then reading some mixed reviews. Since the policy didn’t allow cancellations, I checked in with a bit of worry—but I’m really glad I did.
The room turned out to be pleasantly clean and well-organized. I particularly liked the layout: there are two doors between the bedroom and the bathroom, which gave me a strong sense of privacy and security while resting. Another highlight was the lovely scent in the room—it instantly made me feel at ease and almost like being at home. (If possible, I’d love to ask what kind of aroma sachet or air freshener is used—I’d like to buy the same one!)
During mid-November, the evenings in Barcelona were slightly chilly, but the heating/air-conditioning unit in the room worked well and kept things comfortable. That said, when the unit is turned on, there’s a noticeable mechanical noise—it’s not too loud and didn’t disturb my rest, but worth mentioning.
I also appreciated how responsive the staff were. On my first night, I thought the external shutter in the room was broken. I reported it to the front desk, and the manager quickly sent someone to assist. It turned out the shutter was manually operated by a cord hidden behind the inner curtain on the far right—easy to miss at first glance.
Although the hotel isn’t in the city center, transportation was convenient—there’s a nearby bus stop within walking distance, with easy access to both the metro and Sants train station.
A nice bonus: just a 3-minute walk away is a bakery called Joncake & Wine, a branch of the famous Joncake. Their Basque cheesecake is incredible, and being a branch, it’s much less crowded than the main store. There’s also a small convenience store right downstairs—great for picking up water or other essentials.
One downside would be the soundproofing. The walls and floors seem quite thin, so I could hear voices and footsteps from the neighboring room. It wasn’t too disruptive for me, but worth noting.
Originally, I only planned to stay three nights, but I ended up liking it enough to extend for another three. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations and became a memorable part of my solo trip to Spain.

AAnonymous UserUpon arrival, staff were helpful with luggage, and generally very friendly. Stepping into the room, the view from the window was a pleasant surprise. The room layout was well-designed and fully equipped, with ample space to unpack, a proper desk and chairs, a kettle with tea bags, complimentary bottled water, and even slippers. For travelers arriving in Barcelona after a long journey, the amenities provided were incredibly reassuring. The bathroom had an excellent wet/dry separation, easily the most practical and well-designed I encountered on this trip, keeping everything tidy. The hotel is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from a Mercadona supermarket, and about a 15-minute walk to Casa Batlló and Casa Milà.
The only downside was that the WiFi was down on the day I checked in. It was later repaired, but unfortunately, I wasn't informed.

GGuest UserThe environment here is pretty good. These photos were taken on May 7th. It's super convenient to get to Barcelona city center by metro, though sometimes there might be slight delays. There are also beaches nearby. Just a heads up, they don't provide slippers, and the toothbrushes are a bit low quality. Other than that, everything else is great, and the soundproofing is also quite good.
