"The overall hotel experience exceeded my expectations! The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm, and it was incredibly comfortable after a long day, allowing me to sleep soundly. The hairdryer in the room was powerful, drying my hair quickly so I didn't have to wait long. The room was spotlessly clean, and the natural light was excellent. "The environment is great, full of ancient charm. The entire courtyard has a classic, antique feel. However, if you're sensitive to noise when sleeping, I wouldn't recommend it. It's an old wooden house with high ceilings, and even with renovations, it's pretty much soundproof. But the beautiful surroundings and excellent location make it worth overlooking that one flaw. It's just a minute or two's walk from the Zhongnan Archway, making it super convenient whether you want to stroll around the old town or head to Zhonghuan International. Plus, the staff are really enthusiastic and quick to resolve any issues you might have."

"We booked a room with a waterfall view, and to our surprise, the hotel's own waterfall viewing platform was right next to it. After spending the afternoon at Tianxing Bridge, we had dinner right there on the hotel's platform. The view was absolutely priceless; what we ate hardly mattered. We chose this hotel based on many guest reviews, knowing its advantages, but experiencing it firsthand truly saved us from unnecessary detours.
The 'God's eye view' of the great waterfall is right outside the hotel's main entrance, to the right. It's less than a kilometer's walk, so there's no need to follow online guides suggesting you walk from Doupotang.
If you have a reservation for Water Curtain Cave, head towards the great waterfall from the hotel's VIP通道 (VIP access). Don't buy the downhill elevator ticket, as this entire path is downhill and offers views you'd miss from the elevator. When you see the Water Curtain Cave sign halfway down the mountain, go there first. The exit of Water Curtain Cave leads you across a suspension bridge. If you're early enough and the staff haven't started their shift, you can cross the bridge directly to the bottom of the great waterfall for a front-on view. Once staff are on duty, reverse walking on the bridge is prohibited, so head towards the elevator. This path is flat. Walk to the elevator exit and then go down to the great waterfall. After enjoying the great waterfall, cross the suspension bridge towards the elevator and buy an uphill elevator ticket. If you want to return to the hotel, absolutely do not follow the park signs for the exit; that's the great waterfall visitor center, where you'd catch a bus to other scenic spots."

The transportation downstairs is very convenient, with a subway station nearby. The service is also very warm and friendly; they were very enthusiastic in answering our questions about local attractions and how to get around, which was great. Right across the street is a fountain, so you can take a stroll there if you're bored in the evening without having to go too far. It's also only about 600-700 meters from Minsheng Road. The hotel's decor is very new, and the facilities are complete. The only minor drawback might be that it's not a standalone building, so the elevators can be a bit slow. Guest UserI can’t say enough how good this place was. This city is not easy to get to or get out of. and sometimes you need help from innkeeper staff but true Guizhou hospitality shines here. These people. go out of your way and you almost feel like your family to them. In fact, these people treat me better than my family.
The breakfast is so good. It is not a giant buffet or anything, but a made to order masterpiece. The mien tiao noodles are awesome and will get your day off to a good start and wanting a 2nd portion.

Guest UserXijiang Surprise Mid-Mountain View B&B was a wonderful surprise! The environment is tranquil, surrounded by lush greenery, and the stilt-house design creates such an authentic atmosphere. The panoramic windows in the rooms offer incredible views; you can lie in bed and overlook the entire Miao village. In the evening, the sight of countless lights illuminating the village is breathtaking, and you don't even need to fight the crowds at the scenic viewpoints. What really stood out was the thoughtful hostess. She contacted us in advance to help with our itinerary, assisted us with our luggage upon arrival, and thoroughly explained the local attractions. She even proactively upgraded us to a room with an even better view, free of charge. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the communal terrace was perfect for photos. The service was gentle and attentive. With both amazing views and excellent service, staying here in Xijiang was absolutely a fantastic choice!

KanliandeshehuiOverall, the hotel is quite good. The service is excellent, parking is convenient, and the location is very accessible. It's only a 5-minute walk to Terminal 3 of the airport, and also a 5-minute walk to the Hi-Car and Shenzhou Car Rental branches. There's a small supermarket and dining options right next to the hotel. The hotel breakfast is outstanding, and the service is great. On my last day, I had an early flight, and the front desk prepared a sandwich breakfast for me in advance, which was absolutely delicious. I booked a room with breakfast for two, and it cost a little over 500 RMB per night. Personally, I think the price is a bit high; it would be perfect if it were around 400 RMB!

Plus, the hotel has a water play area downstairs, which is perfect for families traveling with kids in the summer. Highly recommended and definitely worth it!

So glad we chose this guesthouse for New Year's Eve! There wasn't much open in Zunyi city, and the owner here actually invited all the guests to a reunion dinner – so incredibly welcoming. The room was great too, with a large balcony that offered a view of most of the festivities. If you don't want to be in the thick of the crowd, watching the 'iron flower' show from the room actually gives you a better view. The room had a heater, so it was super warm in winter. Coming back to a cozy room after freezing outside at the show was fantastic. The hygiene was excellent, on par with Hanting or Atour. We also had the sour fish soup in the guesthouse the next day; it was a generous portion and not expensive at all. Highly recommend staying here!

ZkkzqqThis is a fantastic guesthouse! I don't usually like staying in guesthouses because I always feel the environment and cleanliness are disappointing. This time, however, I wanted to see the night view of the Miao Village, so I had no choice but to stay within the scenic area. I chose two listed guesthouses and compared them before booking Yue She. It certainly didn't disappoint! First, their service was incredibly thoughtful. Even at 9 pm, they sent two staff members to pick us up at the North Gate, help with our luggage, and show us the way. The hotel's exterior is unassuming, but the interior is surprisingly spacious and charming. Sitting on the terrace in my room, I had a panoramic view of the entire Miao Village at night – absolutely amazing! The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable; you could tell the owners had put a lot of thought into it, paying attention to detail. The lovely receptionist was incredibly warm and attentive, the young butler was also very considerate, and the experienced steward truly touched me, helping us carry our largest suitcase up and down the stairs. The breakfast wasn't lavish, but it tasted like home. Overall, I was very satisfied!

The breakfast was plentiful, and the location offered convenient access to various attractions like Wenchang Pavilion, Jiaxiu Tower, Pen Shui Chi, Qingyun Market, and Qianling Mountain Park. The hotel staff were professional, incredibly warm, and courteous. Upon arrival, they upgraded us to a family room. When we checked out, we were rushing for our flight and accidentally left my glasses in the room. Luckily, the hotel staff promptly contacted us and even couriered the glasses to us that very afternoon, allowing us to use them without delay. A huge thank you to them! 🙏🙏🙏

This particular Atour is located on a main street, and the executive room we booked was initially a bit noisy facing the street. We asked the front desk to switch rooms, and the new room was perfect. The breakfast selection was also quite varied.
