"The hotel is quite close to the airport, and you can watch planes take off and land from its beach. It's right next to Cenang Beach, and you can walk along the beach from the hotel straight to Cenang. The facilities are probably considered high-end for the area, and the breakfast is rich and varied – definitely recommended. The rooms are individual villas designed in a Southeast Asian style. I'd suggest booking a sea-view room for an even better experience. This time, my friends and I booked a standard room, and because the hotel is quite spread out, our room was a bit out of the way. We had to call for a buggy to get from the room to the lobby. While the hotel service was excellent and the buggies were always prompt, it was still a minor inconvenience."

"The hotel is well-maintained, and the breakfast is consistently good! The fishing trip was a lot of fun, caught plenty of fish. However, I'd recommend booking the mangrove tour elsewhere (the hotel's mangrove tour didn't feature any bats). The beach is very clean, but there aren't many small creatures (like hermit crabs...). The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Choosing this hotel for our anniversary was definitely the right decision. All in all, it truly is one of Langkawi's top hotels."

"A Beautiful Family Stay with Thoughtful Hospitality & Memorable Experiences We had a beautiful stay at PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort, where we booked a two-bedroom ocean-view suite and visited with our parents. From the thoughtful little details to the genuinely warm hospitality, there were many moments that made our stay special. It was my father’s birthday during our stay, and we had requested a special welcome for him when we checked in. The team went above and beyond with a personalised note, a tasteful balloon and paper birthday decorations on the bed, along with a vegan chocolate cake that was absolutely delicious — incredibly creamy and simply melted in our mouths. It was such a lovely surprise and a wonderful way to begin our stay. The entire team was very warm, supportive and accommodating throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach-facing pool, the beautiful beach and the breathtaking views around the resort. On our last day, both rooms in our suite had been thoughtfully prepared with a beautiful local flower tea setup on the beds along with pillow mists. These little touches really made us feel cared for. We also had a small unexpected situation on our last evening, and what stood out to us was not the situation itself, but the way the team handled it. The housekeeping team had inadvertently picked up my mother’s phone, and once the mix-up was realised, it was immediately handed over to the housekeeping manager. We were understandably quite taken aback initially, but the management handled the matter with genuine concern and gave us a very heartfelt apology. It was clear that it had been an honest mistake and that the team genuinely cared about how we felt. Fakhruddin, the housekeeping manager, went a step further and personally gave my father a lovely luxury bath and body set as an apology. We initially thought we wouldn't be able to carry it on our flight and had to leave it behind, but after reaching the airport and confirming that we could take it with us on our domestic flight, we called Fakhruddin. He personally arranged for someone to bring the gift pack all the way to the airport for us. That level of effort and personal involvement truly deserves appreciation. Beyond the resort itself, we also had some wonderful experiences nearby. The fire show by Budak Api Movement at Hidden Cafe, right next to the resort, was mesmerising. We simply walked down the beach at night and enjoyed the show — such a memorable experience. We also enjoyed a fine-dining experience at Lancava. The food was prepared fresh with so much care in the live open kitchen. We were asked about our dietary preferences right at the entrance, and within minutes we were seated at a beautifully set table and served exceptionally well-crafted vegetarian dishes. The attention to detail was wonderful. Breakfast at Cassia was also enjoyable, with a decent selection of vegetarian and vegan options. One area we feel could be improved, however, is the Indian food. Although there is a separate Indian food counter, we found that the dishes were quite far from authentic Indian flavours. For Indian guests, this could be disappointing, and we would definitely recommend expanding the Indian selection while also working on making the existing dishes more authentic. Overall, our stay was filled with beautiful moments, thoughtful surprises and genuinely caring hospitality. The resort has a wonderful location, beautiful views, great facilities and, most importantly, a team that clearly makes an effort to make guests feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday at PARKROYAL Langkawi and would happily return."

"Everything was great. It's a lovely new resort hotel. Everything is clean, and the rooms are spacious. The beds are very comfortable, and the towels are soft. The adult-only pool without children was exactly what we needed! The staff are friendly. The coastline is magnificent with a sandy beach. It's a very relaxing atmosphere. Definitely get the breakfast for 85 ringgit; it has everything and is well worth it. For some, the hotel's remoteness from 'civilization' might be a downside, but we rented a car and explored the whole island. The value for money at this hotel is perfect."

"The hotel environment is excellent, with its own private beach and a large swimming pool. The architecture is unique, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, though some minor details could be improved. Its location is a bit secluded, but it's not far from the airport and very close to Oriental Village and the Panorama Langkawi. There aren't many dining options around the hotel, but I tried all three main restaurants and highly recommend the Italian one. The breakfast buffet was a bit unremarkable, but the à la carte menu was fantastic. I highly recommend trying the pancakes, waffles, eggs Benedict, and Roti Canai from the à la carte. They also have a great selection of coffee; I recommend the Flat White and Latte! Oh, and don't forget to take a walk on the beach at night and look up at the incredible starry sky!"

"Overall, it was pretty good, but I wasn't entirely satisfied with the service. When I first checked in, everything in the room was fine. However, after the room was cleaned on the second day, none of the complimentary drinks or snacks were refilled. They also didn't replace the toothbrush I had thrown away; instead, they retrieved it from the trash and put it back in its place 🤦‍♀️. The hotel provided a fruit platter, but on the second day, they took away the knife, so I could only stare at the fruit. They have a Western restaurant with sunset views. When I asked, they recommended it for watching the sunset, but mentioned I needed to book a table in advance. Later that evening, the weather wasn't great – it was cloudy. I figured even if there was no sunset, I could at least enjoy the sea view. But when I got there, I was very disappointed. Not only was there no sunset, but there was no view at all. I was just sitting inside watching the staff bustling around. Afterward, I requested to change tables, and I was grudgingly given a spot where I could see just a tiny bit of the sea."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A very pleasant stay! I had a really enjoyable experience staying at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The bed was especially comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day. The staff were also very friendly, helpful and professional throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. I also really enjoyed the breakfast — there was a good variety of food and everything tasted great. The location was convenient as well, with many places nearby. Overall, the hotel offered great service, comfort and value for money. Definitely a place I would recommend, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. ❤️"

"The staff's attitude was generally good. Turndown service was provided in the evening, and there were welcome fruits. Since it was the Easter holiday, they even specially gifted chocolates shaped like bunnies and Easter eggs, along with a handwritten card which felt very ceremonial! The only area for improvement would be the restaurant's food, as the breakfast selection was quite limited."
