The check-in staff, grace was very friendly and her service was excellent. Because of the good services, we extended another night. We greatly appreciate your staff's initiatives and friendly services. We hope to stay in the future.

Had a one night stay over the weekends, everything was good until I realised I got bed bug bites all over when I left the hotel. The room we stayed in was 2802 but I didn’t manage to capture any photo evidence of bed bugs as I have already checked out when the itch got worse and I saw all the bug bites on my arms and leg. I’ve stayed at Capri many times but it’s the first time I experienced this. Went to the doctor and confirmed I had bed bug bites. Contacted the hotel through trip.com but the hotel staff said they didn’t find any bed bugs. Hope they can thoroughly check again to prevent this from happening to other guests. Overall is one of the good hotel at that location. Beach is just infront of hotel. Seaview and relaxing holidays. Just disappointed with the cakes, 2 occasions happened, one the matcha cake is dry and hard and the other is the durian puff was spoilt. Tast sour and selling at 18. The staff immediately feedback to kitchen and chef made a new one for us. They didn't charge us the puff. This should not happen in 5 stars hotel.

Room: Clean room and bathroom. Shower area was spacious but could do with a little more hooks. Toilet seat was clean but can see that it's old. Breakfast: Decent spread with a live egg cooking section. Just nice there was a saxophonist playing music on Sunday morning. On Saturday morning, there was a balloon artist making simple balloon sculpture for kids. Amenities: Gym looks decent. There is a pool too but we did not manage to enjoy those. Location: Very convenient, above Zenith Mall, i.e. opposite JBCC, and hence very near to JB City Square and Customs. Can go to Haidilao in Zenith Mall for supper too 😋 Service: Check-in was relatively quick. Staff at check-in counter was friendly. The staff and guard outside the breakfast place were friendly too. The housekeeper was friendly too.

Hotel was set in sprawling lands. Best feature was the waterpark literally just next door. However I suppose as it was the school holidays, service was quite slow. Our luggage was not sent up to our room an hour after we checked in. When we called the reception, nobody knew where our luggage was, but was given the reassurance they would find it. After waiting for another 10 mins, we decided to head up to the lobby and lo and behold! Our luggage was still at the concierge. We told the concierge that those were our luggage, and without checking, he just nodded his head and we took off with our luggage. No security checks. The concierge seems overwhelmed at the number of guests that day. The hotel glass shelves had a layer of dust on it. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for a while, which was quite unacceptable being a 5 star hotel. Room was a bit too dark for me and the Aircon was constantly cold even after I adjusted the temperature to 32 degrees Celsius! Breakfast was a riot with the large expansive halls being filled to the brim. Plates and cutlery was constantly unavailable. When the plates came, they seem to have been hastily washed with oil stains. Husband had a bad stomach after consuming some curry. To be honest, the employees tried their best to be as hospitable as possible, but it was just unfortunate that we arrived at a time where it seems the entire hotel was severely shorthanded.

Wonderful themed hotel with very thorough decorations. The child loved the many types of rooms and the lifts with disco lights. Breakfast was alright and the proximity to the theme parks was what the parents most appreciated. Comfortable stay, but the child wishes there was a bath tub. Larger families would enjoy better value for money as there’s only 1 kind of room configuration - small families have to book the same room type even if you didn’t need the extra beds.

Great resort for staycation. Room was extremely spacious with old set up. Nice and quiet place surrounded by a lot of nature. Amenities a bit old but still bearable with morning workouts. One of my regular resort to escaped from concrete jungle.

We just came back from a weekend birthday staycation. Our stay at Renaissance Hotel was a very comfortable one and the staff were extremely thoughtful to prepare a surprise setup in our room - complete with balloons, a printed birthday message with even little heart shapes, as well as a tasty slice of birthday cake and handwritten card! We were very touched by this gesture; thank you so much! Their breakfast buffet was also better than expected - great variety and good taste!

Stayed in June 2024 Cleanliness: The cleanliness has deteriorated significantly since our last stay, There were large amounts of mold seen in the toilet (likely difficult to clean as it was probably inside the silicone, picture below), but the front desk sent someone to deal with it and they were able to clean it (they originally offered to change rooms but we were staying in two rooms so if we changed we would be staying on two different floors). There was also some mould on the bathroom walls, inside of the taps, etc. which we didn't complain about directly, but this should have been cleaned before we entered the room, and it didn't feel right to complain about very patch of mould in the room. We found a cocoon on our curtain, not sure if it flew in or if it just wasn't cleaned. There was a stain in fridge and not sure about table cleanliness. Not sure how clean the area around the bathtub was since it looked difficult to clean, and it was difficult to see due to the colour of the flooring. On a plus side, the beds were clean and we did not see any stains. Rooms: Rooms came with bathtubs, kettle, washing machine, fridge, complimentary coffee and air conditioning with a very broad range of temperatures (it can be set as low as 5 degrees if I am not mistaken). Spray was leaking upon check in but it was swiftly fixed by staff. But we noticed a huge crack in the ceiling which we noticed late at night and were too tired to report it. Not sure if it was safe. Water stains on the wooden floor and chipped wall. Location: Location is far from JB (maybe from 30 min) but is in Iskandar Puteri. Service: Service is good and up to 5-star standards.

Strategic location with perfect beach view at our balcony and will stay here again

From check in to check out all was a breeze, staff was friendly, very accommodating and helpful. Only downside was their cleanliness. Need to upkeep and improve in that area. Breakfast spread was aplenty. Swimming pool great, but lots of sand in it, understandable as it is near to the beach. So far in my 3d2n stay it was safe. Nothing sus. Low crowd too, maybe sg holidays ending period. Overall a nice stay.

Beautiful place, both the pools were great and they had enough activities to keep kids busy. Room was excellent with comfy and clean sheets/towels. Personally enjoyed the bicycle rides and walks within the resort. Buffet spread was good and in room dining was good too. Will visit again

Beautiful rooms and resort! The infinity pool facing the sea was gorgeous! Our room and toilet were beautiful! The private pool was great but the water can be cold. It would be great if there could be a heater for the pool. There were a lot of insects (but it is understandable due to being surrounded by rainforest) so if you hate insects, do not stay in the rainforest room. We took the ocean room and it was already quite much lol. Our stay was AH-MAY-ZING. It was so private and luxurious. The staff were all very friendly and everyone showered our baby with so much love! We were deeply impressed and if you asked if we were ever going to stay there again, i would say “in a heartbeat!”. Thank you everyone for the amazing stay!
