The hotel courtyard is beautiful, the room facilities are a bit old-fashioned, the breakfast is particularly good, semi-buffet plus ordering, whether it is half-buffet or semi-buffet is first-class English breakfast, the service industry is quite good.

Great stop over with friendly people and great food

We were looking forward to our stay ... Arrived Monday evening where a function for a group was in process.. we selected the hotel as. It was out of town, appeared away from noise of the town… paying at the highest room rate of the season therefore had high expectations.. sadly the opposite. Our room was extremely noisy above the bar & restaurant and beside the guest function toilet .. We were told all bar and lounge areas unavailable to us due to the function & recommended restaurants in the town for dinner ... sadly all closed in town as a Monday evening... others booked out due to options limited We were not offered a room away from the noise .. which as there was a function below .. would have been appreciated The room was adequate but bed was extremely hard … luckily the noise stopped at 10 pm Woken at 7 am with music and smells from the below kitchen ... sadly over priced & disappointed

I can't understand how anybody would fault this hotel. It is a 100% five star experience. I was worried to read some revies that rooms were dated but this is untrue. The decor of the rooms is very classic with carpets and medium dark wood furniture, but in pristine condition as this hotel has been reburnished. Not a scuff mark to be seen anywhere. We had a superior room on the 4th floor which was pure luxury. Really large and bright with big windows and patio door to balcony and a gorgeous view. A large bathroom with separate bath and walk in shower and a large storage, dressing room area at the entrance with its own full length mirror. Complimentary chocolates were sent up on arrival, a lovely touch as we were celebrating my birthday. The staff at this hotel are exceptional, especially at reception and in the dining room. They are extremely courteous, professional and nothing is too much trouble. The food is also top class, we had breakfast and dinner. My only quibble would be the decor of the dining room but that's a personal thing. In a five star hotel I would prefer more traditional with elaborate napery and table ware and a smaller dining room, or one more partitioned for a cosier, more intimate feel. Here the decor is very ultra modern. It is huge and open plan with very modern table placements which I would find just a little cold. The restaurant overlooks the beautiful Gap of Dunloe which is breathtaking and we were lucky to get a window table at breakfast. But far from the window or after dark you don't have that experience. But overall this hotel is just fabulous, I'd highly recommend it and go back in a heartbeat. Roll on the next birthday!

Im just back from a fabulous stay at the Killarney Park. This gem of a hotel is the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and relaxation. The attention to detail was next level, Ciaran and his team went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time, and even helped us plan the perfect itinerary for our stay. All staff were so helpful, personable and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast and dinner was excellent, and we loved the ambience of the cosy library to relax by the fire afterwards. Superb, comfortable rooms, a lovely relaxed and welcoming ambience, and incredible service at all stages of our stay - I am already looking forward to coming back next year!
