5-Star Hotels in Red Sea Governorate, Egypt

The hotel is perfect! The service was amazing! All staff is very polite and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay very much! The view from our room was amazing! And the views from every point in the hotel actually is so attractive and impressive!!! The food was delicious as well, the hotel has 8 restaurant, one of them is for extra charge. We will come back for sure!

Hotel is quite modern and very clean. There are some shops and restaurants on site which provide good options for stop it is also opposite the Hurghada Plaza Shopping Mall where we thought the food court would supply some decent food items. However there were basically a couple of takeouts with very very limited range. It was disappointing. There is a Carrefour supermarket in the shopping mall. The hotel rooms are excellent and most face the beach with full glass windows and great views. However, one disappointing aspect was the air conditioning which unfortunately sounds like a jet engine taking off when it switches on automatically to cool the room. It was so loud that it woke us up several occasions during the evenings for our stay. The beach area is fantastic as the hotel is on a small bay. They were plenty of sun lounges available. The most disappointing aspect was the breakfast buffet which was bedlam every morning. Coffee was supplied with two machines which continually kept running out of coffee and at the staff were unable to keep up. The small machines were clearly insufficient for the number of people staying at the hotel. Additionally, most people did not know how to use them which resulted in huge amounts of wastage spilling over into the trays which obviously causes them to run out even more quickly. But this situation needs to be remedied as it is completely unsatisfactory. Why don't they just put some large coffee urns there which would avoid this nonsense. One that needs to be aware that despite the war in Ukraine, Egypt seems to be one of the few countries still accepting Russian flights and tourists. Thus, you will need to fight for your space in the lines as they constantly push in, which unfortunately has been my experience when I've encountered them in many other countries in the world also.

The rooms seem to need renovation. The cleanliness of the general areas of the hotel is good. A hotel that offers many amenities. Most of the dishes are suitable for Turkish palate. The hotel is built on a very large area. We think that especially children will love this hotel. The beach is about 10 minutes away by shuttle. We were generally satisfied. We recommend.

The hotel is located not far from the airport, the cleaning in the room is good, but if there is shampoo, they do not put the conditioner, you have to tell the cleaner of the room. The beach is sandy, there are no fish in the sea and corals too. There are a lot of flies on the beach that are very annoying. I will also note the very annoying massage service. I do not recommend massage and hammam at all. I did not go on trips because those who went and shared that there is nothing special to see, especially the sightseeing tour. You can get one towel for the beach, not two like in other hotels. In the evening there is a cultural program, the animators are great, they work very well. The food is normal, typically Egyptian. I will not go to this hotel and Hurghada anymore, the sea is cool and windy, but this is my opinion, I liked Sharm more.

Our hotel was suburb! Excellent service, friendly staff, high quality meals and a huge range of drinks! Clean room and many choices for entertainment during the day!

The location and outdoor environment are very good, but the room is too shabby. The plug of the wash basin broke on the first night and someone came to repair it. The air conditioner leaked on the second night and it leaked again in the middle of the night. The shower water was not hot. One of the bedside lamps was broken because it was a power problem rather than a bulb. I was too lazy to fix it. The buffet restaurant is very crowded every day, mostly German tourists. The staff is OK, but not bad. The only advantage is that the sea view is beautiful and it is only a few steps away from the beach. The room staff is very nice and even made towels for us.

Awesome hotel! The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, the buffet restaurant is very large and there are many things, and in addition to the main restaurant for dinner there are 7 different restaurants to order, and the all-inclusive cost is very worry-free. Many Russians come to vacation, and the hotel's private beach can snorkel and see a lot of fish. In short, very satisfied, next time I go to the Red Sea for vacation, I will choose this hotel!

I enjoyed my relaxing stay at this resort. It began with a very nice surprise when I found out that as a Titanium Bonvoy member I was upgraded to an oceanfront suite / bungalow. (My stay was during quiet weekdays in a less busy season, so that probably helped also.) The suite was very spacious and had an amazing view of the ocean and sunrise. The breakfast was the best variety and quality I've had a hotel in Africa or the Middle East. Same with the dinner buffet. The pool areas are well kept, despite never seeing any guests using them. The bank machine by the front desk didn't work with my card, however it gave a great rate when I exchanged my British Pounds for Egyption Pounds. Most of the staff were friendly and great, especially the elite guest relations team who emailed me before my arrival and the managers who introduced themselves to me when they saw me on my first day. Housekeeping did a great job too (clean room, water bottles and coffee supplies always restocked, cute towel art), except for an isolated incident that was quickly addressed and rectified. The gym was the only noticeable negative, and was the worst gym I've seen at a Marriott resort property. Very little equipment, and very dated and worn out or broken. However, this wasn't much of a problem, because the coastal pathway is an oustanding place to go for a morning run. If you run to the west end of the pathway and back to the Sheraton, it's a 10k run. I also enjoyed going out to the end of the jetty in the mornings and snorkeling in the reefs that were full of colorful marine life. This hotel is very worthy of a 5 star review. Thank you to all the hard working staff who work hard to ensure enjoyable stays. I will be back.

The hotel is very good, the waiters are very friendly, and it is worth staying here. The three meals in the hotel are the best I have ever had in Egypt. If it weren't for the hotel's meals, I would have starved to death.

Brilliant, 5* experience. Joseph, the room manager, moved us to a pool room, which we loved. No trouble at all, for them. I am really pleased with their choice, to 1029. Our dining experience was exquisite, as I was on a medical diet, and Hany, our chef, personally saw to my every need. We arranged the day before, for the meal I was to have the next day. The food was delicious, well presented, and extremely high quality. I can not thank the resteraunt staff enough for their total commitment to making my stay so enjoyable. Never have I had this exceptional dedication and investment into ensuring I was catered for, with all my meals. Truly, a return stay is needed. Our entertainment was the best, I have experienced in any of the many, 5* Hurghada hotels. The dedicated animation team was fantastic. Children of all ages were superbly looked after. The evening entertainment was ridiculously, unbelievably superb. From African acrobats, authentic local dance groups, beach party vibes, pool party disco, such great fun, with an astounding sound system, to impress any UK night club. The beach was beautiful and relaxing, the pools maintained, with constant water checks and cleaned daily. No squabbling over sun beds, as there were plenty. They catered for your tiny tots to all adults, with life guards overseeing the vast number of available pools. Overall, this is a sensational hotel, for young to older guests, and very central to pharmacies, coffee shops, gifts, and many more establishments, too many to mention. 15 mins from the airport, and 25 mins to the marina. The 24/7 bar, reception, and room service are perfect for those little late night arrivals. The standard of this hotel, Jaz casa del mar, is definitely the one to look out for for your next visit.

First of all, a huge compliment to the Kempinski Soma Bay staff for their extremely kind, helpful and attentive attitude which makes for a pampering holiday. In the following text I'll refer to my experiences in the different areas of the hotel. - Laguna Lounge Club: The service and cooking staff were outstanding and excellent. They could easily read your wishes as they remembered the preferences of previous orders and felt encouraged to ask for special requests. We were therefore extremely grateful to be able to order Egyptian breakfast and dinner every day! We thank Mr. Diaa (Manager), Mr. Abdel Fattah, Mr. Mohamed, Mr. Barsoum, Mr. Bassem, Mr. Sameh, Mr. Khadre and the others for their courtesy and speed at every moment, no matter how stressful and challenging the day was. - Room Service: Many thanks to Mr. Moaz for cleaning and tidying our room twice a day. Your respectful and friendly attitude will stay with us. - Beach Service: The beach staff were very accommodating, always going the extra mile to fulfil requests. Thank you for regularly checking our needs and for your good humour despite working in the hot sun! - Concierge: Lovely Mr. Ahmed, who miraculously solves any problem you can think of. He came to our aid and made it possible for us to track down a lost mobile phone when my son left it in a taxi. - Guest Relations: We would like to give a big compliment to Mr Pascale from Guest Relation. He organised the day trips to Cairo and Luxor in the most efficient way. - The Lady in Red: Likewise, Ms. Yousr, the Lady in Red, was our quick helping hand and her reliable demeanour never left us alone, even taking care of us on excursions by phone. Indeed, Soma Bay is the crown jewel of the Egyptian coast in which the Kempinski Soma Bay is embedded. The most beautiful beaches and coral reefs are to be found here.

The room conditions are very average, the food is mainly based on Egyptian food culture, the highlight of the hotel is that the corals on the beach are very beautiful, you don't need to go out to sea for snorkeling, you can walk to snorkel and see turtles and dugongs, the price of Ctrip is a bit expensive, it is not recommended to place an order with Ctrip

Just back from Egypt and spent the last 5 days here, highly recommended! We arrived on Jan 6 and by chance the dinner was promoted due to east European festival, had really extraordinary experiences. The food of course in the other days were good as well of course. :-) The private beach is cool, excellent for the snorkeling. The water was not very cold and I was kind of weak therefore got wet suit, so everything is fine. And do ask the lifeguard where the sea cow is! Actually there could be many programs to have a day trip or so, in the hotel there are also plenty programs to join in like Yoga and beach volleyball. They have nearly live show also everyday. While I preferred to enjoy 3 meals, beach and go snorkelling since it is fantastic for me already. :P Moreover, the team of Hilton Marsa Alam is great. Ashraf, Hussein, and team helped me a lot, and they are super nice and ready for help all the time. The room is super clean and I was promoted to a sea-view huge room and the bed is over 2 meters I think it is a Cleopatra bed :DDD By the way you could take GoBus to arrive the hotel if you do not need much to take taxi or so. Or like us, we came actually from Luxor and took a ride (private pickup truck, 2ppl 50 egyptian pound) near Marsa Alam to the hotel. I guess not many chose our way. Again, highly recommended. And thank you so much, I wish I could be there soon.

The daily cleaning was perfect and I was able to spend my time comfortably. I was grateful for the mineral water. The size of the room was just right. All the staff are nice.

Holidays very successful, the hotel super, large, quiet, peaceful. Cleanliness in the hotel also as much as possible on 5, rooms cleaned daily clean, fragrant, linen changed daily. Food very good, always a large choice.Animators the best, entertained, encouraged to participate in various events, common games. Special mentions to Tiamoo, Alladin and Dominik. Super animators very friendly will help if you have a problem with something.

The environment is very nice, and it is pleasing to the eyes under the blue sky. The swimming pool is a heated swimming pool, which is very comfortable. The food is accustomed to. I recommend the restaurant by the beach and the Italian restaurant in the hotel next door. They are all from the same group, and the products are very good, including the all-inclusive package. The bedding is just so-so, and the hotel in Luxor has the same problem, a little rough, but I got used to it on the second night. The only thing that is disgusting is that the fare from the hotel to the airport is almost like robbery, that is, they can rob you directly, but they finally send you to the airport. From the hotel door to the airport, it is only an 8-minute drive. The hotel front desk initially quoted 30 euros, nearly 240 yuan!
