"I spontaneously changed my reservation from the Nan Hilton to the Sheraton City Center, mainly because of its convenient location and easy access to transportation. The bustling commercial area downstairs offers plenty of dining options, and the hotel is relatively new, built in 2025. As it's in the city center, the rooms aren't as spacious as the Sheraton in Dali, but it's well-equipped despite its smaller size. Since we were three adults and one child, I discussed it with the front desk, and they kindly provided an extra adult's breakfast, which significantly enhanced our experience. We only stayed one night, so we didn't use the self-service laundry, but I've used it at the Dali Sheraton, and it's very convenient. If I visit Kunming again in the future, I'll definitely choose the Sheraton. Upon check-in, we received welcome fruits and drinks, and bottled water was available in the elevator lobby for guests to take freely, which was a nice and convenient touch. The hotel also has a well-equipped gym. The staff were not overly enthusiastic but maintained an appropriate distance, which was perfect for someone like me. My child was reluctant to leave and said they wanted to come back."

"The hotel upgraded our room type, which was very comfortable overall. Located on a high floor in Kunming city center, the hotel offers excellent views. It also has direct access to Hang Lung Plaza, making shopping very convenient. The only thing I would mention is that the front desk didn't inform us about the complimentary shopping mall vouchers during check-in. I only found out later through the platform and had to go back to inquire and collect them. Other facilities are beautiful and well-curated. The room was cleaned thoroughly, and they provided plenty of bottled water, which I really appreciated. The turndown service was also good. My suggestions for improvement would be that the conditioner was not moisturizing enough, and the eye mask was a bit tight on the ears. The breakfast selection was rich and everything tasted delicious. The only thing I need to point out is that on the first day, the female attendant who led us to our table seemed visibly annoyed because we took a few minutes to choose our seats instead of sitting down immediately. She also didn't offer us any drinks. I only realized later that we could order tea or coffee when I saw another staff member taking orders from newly arrived guests. When I asked her about it, she was clearly unhappy and just said, 'Order now.' This really put a damper on the experience. The male staff member we encountered on the second day, however, was excellent with great service and attitude. Therefore, the hotel should definitely strengthen its training to improve the overall quality of service and ensure consistency."

The hotel is a collection of high-end selected hotels under Accor in France, and each MGallery has a unique story. The hotel is located in the Dongfengyun art town composed of vineyards, lavender fields and a large number of post-modern buildings. The hotel has built a post-modern building complex composed of red bricks and smooth curves, with many guest rooms, 3 restaurants and a lobby bar, a 400-square-meter indoor conference room, and a 1,300-square-meter outdoor swimming pool. The beautiful lake shore and the rolling mountains form a unique and dreamy blending scene.

"The MGallery Dongfengyun is an absolute design masterpiece, where the hotel itself is a destination, even more enjoyable and photogenic than the actual attractions. Located within the scenic area, it's a short walk to the Kaleidoscope Art Museum, saving you the hassle of entrance tickets. The architectural aesthetics are incredibly atmospheric; every corner, from the pool to the lobby, is perfect for photos. The front desk even upgraded our room, offering a fantastic view of the Kaleidoscope directly from our window. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing an excellent experience with plenty of children's activities that kept the kids highly engaged. Breakfast offered a wide variety, including many local specialties. Parking was convenient for self-drivers, making it ideal for family vacations and photo opportunities. The only drawback was that the travel photography package only included 5 digital photos for free. Purchasing additional photos or packages was quite expensive. It would be great if they could offer more affordable packages; this would not only acknowledge the photographers' work but also enhance the guest experience and create better memories."

"I chose the Deting Tea Mountain store for my trip to Pu'er this time, and my stay experience directly exceeded my expectations! The hotel is located at the foot of the tea mountain, and as soon as you enter, the air is filled with a faint tea fragrance. The courtyard is full of green plants, quiet and healing. The room space is spacious and clean, with lush greenery outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, and a small tea table is also provided. It's especially pleasant to brew a pot of Pu'er tea in your leisure time. The entire room is intelligently controlled, with a smart toilet and a large bathtub. The bedding is soft, and the soundproofing is excellent, so I slept very soundly at night. The staff were attentive and proactively helped with luggage. The breakfast variety was rich, and the local bean soup rice noodles tasted authentic. There was also a free mini-bar with drinks, and laundry and drying services. The overall facilities are complete, and it's a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. It's perfect for a vacation in Pu'er, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"This was the most satisfying and unexpected hotel of my Yunnan trip. They truly embodied the essence of Kerry, even exceeding my previous experiences with the brand. They perfectly catered to my exhaustion and fatigue, achieving the ultimate in service and design, blending lifestyle with convenience. From the moment I arrived at the hotel in the early morning, suffering from altitude sickness in Shangri-La, I was sleepy, tired, and had a terrible headache. The receptionist at the entrance warmly and enthusiastically welcomed me, patiently arranged my room in the early hours, and sincerely told me that if I needed oxygen, the hotel would provide it free of charge. In that situation and environment, I felt a warmth like that of family. I was surprised three times during my stay. The first surprise came on the way to my room by car, when I was awestruck by the hotel's night view. It was far more beautiful than what my camera could capture; only seeing it in person can convey the true feeling of the courtyard blending seamlessly with the mountains and forests. When I opened the door, I was amazed by the interior. It abandoned the traditional hotel layout, with the designer's vision integrating modernity and tradition. The lighting was just right, and nothing in the interior felt superfluous. That night was the best sleep I had throughout my entire trip. When I woke up in the morning and drew back the curtains, I realized the designer had transformed the mountains and space into a canvas and painted within it. Spending a week in the room felt like I myself was a stroke of rich ink. The hotel has many facilities for guests to enjoy. I literally spent the entire day after I woke up just soaking in the hotel. I experienced local roasted tea, tried wild matsutake mushrooms, took photos with alpacas and miniature horses, and simply drank tea, ate, and strolled around the hotel. Before I knew it, the day was over. The scenery is truly beautiful, and unfortunately, I am not eloquent enough to perfectly convey my story with this secluded gem, including the meticulous details of housekeeping and laundry service, which constantly remind you of their absolute dedication and heartwarming care. Some feelings and experiences are difficult to describe in words; you truly have to experience it yourself to understand their meticulousness, their attentiveness, and that kind of care like family and friends."

"Having stayed at many hotels, I must say this hotel's lobby is one of the most photogenic I've seen in its price range. The room was spacious with two 1.5-meter beds, easily accommodating two adults and two children without any hassle, significantly enhancing our travel experience. They provided premium bottled water like Evian and Bama Platinum Spring. Even though the hotel had just opened, there were no strange odors in the room. In the evening, soaking in the pool with the perfect temperature while quietly enjoying the night view of Gaozhuang really set a wonderful holiday mood. It rained quite often during our stay in Xishuangbanna, but the laundry room had a dryer, which was very convenient. The kids' club was also quite large for a hotel in this price category, and our children absolutely loved it. While the location isn't right in the center, it's not remote and is wonderfully quiet. Overall, it's definitely worth staying here."

The InterContinental Hotels XISHUANGBANNA RESORT by IHG provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Jinghong will find that the InterContinental Hotels XISHUANGBANNA RESORT by IHG is a fantastic accommodation choice. With Xishuangbanna Railway Station just 8km away and Xishuangbanna Gasa International Airport only 8km away, transportation is very convenient. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Gunaka Dai Cultural Park, Xishuangbanna Ethnic Museum and Dream Yunnan · Rainforest Lanshan - Yixin Villa all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. Guests of this Jinghong hotel can make use of the parking facilities. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"Our second stop on our Yunnan graduation trip with the kids was the InterContinental in Xishuangbanna city. The hotel itself is like a small garden with a great atmosphere. In the mornings, you can even watch peacocks, perfect for a leisurely stroll or just relaxing! The hotel's location is also excellent, very close to Starlight Night Market and Manting Park. Although we were a bit lazy and only visited the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, the rest of the time, besides going out for food, we pretty much just stayed at the hotel. We stayed for two nights; the first night we slept very well. The second night, however, was a different story with all the stomping upstairs and children crying in the vicinity in the early hours – quite an indescribable sleep, to be honest. But when you're traveling, these things happen, I just hope it doesn't happen again next time 😓. The hotel also offers a complimentary travel photography service. We didn't use it, but it looked pretty good, so those interested might want to give it a try!"

Staying in the Jacuzzi Villa was an absolute delight! The Naxi-style courtyard was elegant and peaceful, and the private, temperature-controlled Jacuzzi was clean and comfortable. Soaking under the stars at night melted away all my travel fatigue. I must commend Elin, our butler, for her outstanding service. From coordinating before our arrival to her attentive care during our stay, she was always quick to respond to any needs. She was thoughtful and professional, never intrusive, which truly enhanced the relaxing vacation vibe. The facilities were excellent, and the service was an added bonus – a perfect Lijiang getaway! Highly recommended!

During my time in Lijiang, this was the only hotel I was truly satisfied with. I was honestly so tired of those so-called 'owner-run' B&Bs where you pay good money but get no sense of service, feeling cramped like you're intruding in someone else's home. Hygiene: Everything was excellent. Environment: Remarkably good. Both the reception and the hotel's public areas are exceptionally spacious for the Old Town. A major plus is that it's just a five-minute walk along the main road from the parking lot. Many B&Bs in the Old Town, even those not cheap, are tucked away down winding alleys with cramped receptions and gardens. This place truly offers the facilities of a proper hotel. The garden is also beautifully maintained. All public areas are lovely, well-equipped, and there's even a play area for children. The complimentary travel photography service also had very kind staff. Service: Every staff member I encountered was excellent, from management to restaurant and front desk staff. They not only greeted me proactively but also offered enthusiastic help. I've already recommended it to all my friends planning to visit Lijiang. I hope the owner continues to have great business, and that both the pets and staff receive even better welfare and benefits.

Back in Dali, I decided to revisit the Xianyun 360-degree Cliff Seaview Hot Spring B&B, and it truly lived up to expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly polite and attentive. I later found out that the humble and helpful manager, who was always ready to assist, was also from Beijing, which made me feel right at home. The B&B's environment is serene and immaculate. The private hot spring pool in the room is definitely the highlight. Soaking in the hot spring, you're directly facing the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake – it's like a landscape painting come to life. During my downtime, I loved sitting on the balcony, gazing at Cangshan and Erhai, which was incredibly therapeutic after a long journey. The restaurant's dishes were delicious and flavorful. My experience was as excellent as ever, truly a hidden gem of a seaview B&B. Choosing to stay here twice speaks volumes about its reliable quality. It’s my top choice when visiting Dali, highly recommended! Amenities: Excellent Hygiene: Good Environment: Beautiful Service: Fantastic

We had a pleasant stay overall, with several things that really stood out. The room was extremely spacious, with two king-sized beds and plenty of room to move around. It was comfortable and gave us ample space to relax. The dining area also offered gorgeous scenery, making meals much more enjoyable. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. When we discovered some hair caught in the hair trap in the bathroom when we checked in, we reported it to the front desk. They immediately arranged for housekeeping to come and clean it. We were also pleasantly surprised when the front desk later delivered a dessert to our room as a gesture of goodwill. This was a nice example of prompt and thoughtful service recovery. Another small but memorable example of the front desk team's helpfulness happened after midnight. I had an issue with the dryer and needed to open it in the middle of its cycle, but could not figure out how to do so. Although it was already past midnight, the front desk staff patiently helped me troubleshoot the problem and guided me on how to open it. Her assistance quickly resolved the issue, and I really appreciated her willingness to help despite the late hour. Another lovely touch was the warm milk delivered to our room daily. We also enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea, especially the beautiful dessert designed in the shape of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. These little touches made the stay feel special. Unfortunately, the restaurant experience at the hotel was a weak point. We went for dinner at around 9pm. After the staff seated us, they disappeared, and despite the restaurant being very large, there were no other wait staff in sight. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I eventually had to go looking for someone and tell him that we wanted to order. When we asked whether using DianPing or the hotel guest discount would offer better value for a particular meal we wanted to order, the staff member was unable to advise us. We had to work out the best option ourselves. While this may seem like a small matter, I would expect restaurant staff in a hotel to be familiar with the promotions and benefits available to guests and to be able to provide basic guidance. Things did not improve much after our mushroom hotpot was served. We were essentially left to figure out how to prepare and eat the hotpot ourselves, without any explanation or assistance from the restaurant staff. Based on our experience, they appeared to lack some basic training in customer service, attentiveness and product knowledge. The issue was not that they were unfriendly; rather, they seemed somewhat clueless and undertrained, which made the dining experience unnecessarily difficult. Overall, the hotel has many strengths — a wonderfully spacious room, beautiful scenery, friendly front desk staff and thoughtful guest amenities. The service recovery from the front desk was also impressive and showed that the hotel genuinely cares about its guests. However, the restaurant service needs significant improvement. Better staff training, stronger attentiveness and greater familiarity with the menu and hotel promotions would make a big difference. With those improvements, this could be a much more enjoyable and polished hotel experience.

This hotel offers a 100-point experience! The hotel is clearly managed with great thought and care, allowing guests to enjoy a true vacation without even leaving the premises. The facilities are exquisite, featuring Hansgrohe faucets and Duravit sanitary ware and toilets. The shower drains perfectly and has excellent water pressure. The toiletries are good quality, even the disposable toothbrushes are carefully selected, and they thoughtfully provide facial towels and laundry detergent. The towels are thick and don't shed. The room is clean and odor-free. The bedding feels luxurious and the pillows are comfortable. The lighting design and smart zoning are incredibly well-planned. The fresh flowers upon check-in were a lovely touch, as was the complimentary travel photoshoot. The food is delicious! Every breakfast item was tasty, and the late-night snacks were impressive – even the grilled skewers were good. The afternoon tea was also very refined. The hotel's terrace offers a beautiful blue hour ambiance and a spacious, airy feel. The staff are genuinely sincere, professional, and incredibly nice in their attitude and greetings. Their service truly makes you want to praise them, write a detailed review, and motivates you to return for another stay! I wish the brand continued success.

Dali Hotel, Take Three: Living in an Underwater World! Bringing the kids to Dali and fulfilling their dream of an underwater room! 🌊 I’ve put together a super honest guide to our stay! I'll cover prices, floor choices, hidden costs, and food and drink, so first-timers can just copy this plan! 💰 Room Prices & Floor Pitfalls ▪️ Standard Rooms: 400-600 RMB/night No underwater view, great value for money if you just need a place to stay. ▪️ Underwater View Rooms: 1600-1900 RMB/night Prices vary by floor, and here’s the key thing to avoid! ❌ Definitely don’t choose the 1st floor! The floor is too low, the window is quite small, you can only see corals and small bottom-dwelling fish. Photos turn out very ordinary, and the experience is poor. ✅ Go for the 2nd floor first! Best value for money overall! The price is moderate, the viewing window is super large, and the view is expansive. You’ll get great photos effortlessly. Call the front desk in advance to reserve a room with a good view. We stayed in room 8220, and the view was quite good. ⭕ The 3rd floor is slightly more expensive. The view isn't significantly different from the 2nd floor. If you're looking for value, just go for the second floor. ⚠️ Charged Activities The mermaid and golden storm performances, which used to be free, are now all charged! 200 RMB per show. Other self-funded interactive activities: ▫️ Touching dolphins for a photo: 100 RMB ▫️ Feeding seals: 50 RMB ▫️ Feeding penguins: 100 RMB ✅ Perks Worth Praising Booking a room includes a complimentary diving experience 🤿. There are no hidden secondary charges, which is really thoughtful! 🍜 Food and Drink ▫️ The mini-bar in the room has a rich variety of snacks and drinks, all free of charge. ▫️ There are very few restaurants around the hotel. If you want a proper meal, you'll need to take a taxi for about 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can order takeout or dine at the hotel. ▫️ The hotel’s own breakfast is of good quality, and the à la carte dishes in the restaurant are also very reasonably priced. (It’s advisable to order takeout in advance, as delivery times can be quite long.) Many people think almost 2000 RMB for one night is expensive. But seeing the kids pressed against the window, watching the underwater world with eyes full of surprise and wonder ✨, makes all the expenses feel super worth it! A true fairy-tale experience exclusively for children! 👧🏻

An absolutely wonderful hotel! It's located right in the ancient city, making it incredibly convenient to walk to all the attractions. Yet, it's a rare find that manages to be peaceful amidst the hustle and bustle; you can't hear any street noise once you're inside. The facilities are complete, and the interior design is elegant and serene, making you naturally want to slow down, enjoy a cup of tea, and read a book. The service is gentle and thoughtful; the butlers were very responsive to our requests. They arranged our transfers and private tours perfectly. They also carefully confirmed meal reminders, housekeeping, and even bedtime desserts with us every day. And the choices they offered were abundant! From the daily breakfast dishes to everyday beverages and the brands of toiletries, there were so many high-quality options, making each day an exciting and interesting experience. Looking forward to coming back!
