Resort is a mere 5 mins walk to xiao wan beach and the night market. For those who don't drive, there is a bus stop outside the resort serving local bus and bus to kaohsiung.
Cleanliness is definitely above average and the staffs are always wearing a smile and greets us which definitely makes us feel welcomed.
Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for place to stay in kenting."

"This is my second stay here, and I still love it! The location is right next to Kenting Street. This time, I brought my husband for his birthday, and the hotel even gifted us a small cake. The staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic, making for an excellent stay. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Kenting. It's so relaxing sitting by the rooftop pool, and we also received drink vouchers for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages! 😆"

"Very clean and nice hotel everything is very organised , good location and friendly frontdesk .ALL the staff are simply exceptional, especially the frontdesk- Lia Wu , Emily Chen and Wendy Liu. , they showed their professionalism by introducing this new hotel and the surroundings to us . They are so helpful to assist us with our luggages and personally deliver to our room. Every interaction with them felt warm and welcoming . The breakfast is good with many choices , restaurant manager and staff are friendly too. Overall the staff’s commitment to guest satisfaction made a truly memorable stay."

The lighting of the room was a bit too dim for me, but it wasn't a problem during the day as there was plenty of sunlight from the window. What I like about is that they put a coffee table and an armchair by the window, making it quite enjoyable to do some reading during the day. The location is a okay, around 10-15 minutes walk from the closest MRT station. The way to the station was clear and had a variety of local shops to explore.

Since it was an anniversary celebration, the hotel kindly provided a bottle of champagne, which really set a lovely atmosphere. The staff were all polite and had excellent service. VVkwanAwesome hot spring hotel with spectacular view at rooftop pool, movie night and hot spring. Breakfast buffet and spacious room and in room amenities. Highly recommended and definitely will stay there again. Dinner at hotel restaurant because it’s raining, tasty and great service but feel a bit rush with 100 minutes time limit.

Not to mention the noise from the building work – imagine driving a car without air conditioning, stuck behind a diesel truck constantly spewing exhaust fumes. The result? A headache that required painkillers.
Luckily, Trip.com was great and got me a room change.
The mattress is very soft, so if you prefer lumbar support, you should reconsider. The family with kids next door was very noisy, and the front desk promptly moved me to another room. The transportation is very convenient, with the MRT station just a two-minute walk away.
The hotel lobby is like an MRT platform, bustling with people – from young to old, student groups to limping seniors, all attending some event. It's the opposite of quiet. If you enjoy crowded fairs, you might like the lively atmosphere. Even checking in took about 10 minutes.

I have a major concern regarding my two-night booking at Kenting Yoho Beach Resort for April 19-20, 115/4/18. When I booked through Trip.com, the hotel description stated that there were indoor and outdoor swimming pools. However, upon check-in, I found out that the ocean view pool was closed, and apparently, it has been closed for several months. My husband and I had planned to go swimming, but we couldn't because it wasn't open.
I'm not blaming the hotel at all. My point is, when I book a hotel room on a platform like Trip.com, I expect to receive accurate information before making a reservation. It's frustrating to see a facility listed on the platform, only to discover upon arrival that it's been closed for months.
Overall, I found the room prices at Yoho Beach Resort to be excellent value for money, despite a few issues:
1. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant, though their professional skills were average.
2. The paid SPA massage service was fantastic, with a Thai-style approach. You won't find a better service like this in Hengchun.
3. It's very close to diving spots; you can just walk there.
4. Yoho's beachfront is beautiful and easily accessible on foot.
5. The price might even be cheaper than some B&Bs, yet it offers so many complimentary services.
6. There's a functional coffee shop.
However, many areas in the rooms and public spaces haven't been renovated. The bathroom and overall cleanliness of the room were quite average. If decor and pristine room cleanliness are high priorities for you, then Yoho might not be the best choice. Nevertheless, it definitely has its unique strengths.

GGuest UserFantastic hotel! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here during my trip to Taipei. A fun little bonus was being able to grab candy from the snack shop next door every day. The room was really smart, and I loved having a square bathtub and bath salts. Highly recommend!
