"The check-in process was very fast. However, the rooms are a bit far from the main guesthouse reception, so we needed a staff member to guide us. But the young lady guiding us seemed confused about how many guests she was assigned to and ended up leading someone else away instead... Also, while there's a direct elevator up from the B1 restaurant, she had us lug our suitcases up the stairs to the ground floor before taking the elevator 😖. She was far too inexperienced. On the plus side, the room was impeccably clean and tidy, complete with welcome snacks (passion fruit and oranges). The breakfast was also rich and varied."

"I rarely bother to write reviews, but Dongli Yuan is hands down the best hotel from my trip to Jingdezhen, period! There is literally nothing to fault—from the service and environment to the facilities. As they say, the only drawback of something expensive is that it's expensive 😂 Of course, that's on me, not the hotel. The location is fantastic and very quiet. The public areas are spacious and full of design aesthetics, giving you a true secluded, escapist vibe. This time I stayed in the 'Shanjianqing' Villa. Although it's the smallest villa category, it actually feels very roomy, and the experience was top-notch. Lounging in the courtyard, soaking in the hot tub while watching the little stream flow by was absolute bliss 😭 The service goes without saying. I stayed at two hotels under the Xingshan Shiwai brand, and Dongli Yuan felt a bit more mature and polished. Requests were handled promptly—even a late-night extra bed request was sorted out within half a month—err, half an hour, without a single complaint. They truly manage to 'think a step ahead and do a bit more' for their guests, something many five-star hotels fail to achieve. Xingshan Shiwai really makes you feel at home. I'll definitely choose them again next time! 😆"

"The living room of the room faces Qiushui Square. Sitting on the sofa at night watching the square's fountain is sheer bliss! Or you can just cross the street to the square to experience the magnificent atmosphere of the fountain up close and witness firsthand the pride of being Chinese! The staff's attitude was truly wonderful; the Chinese restaurant serves great food, the breakfast is plentiful, and the Executive Lounge happy hour is not to be missed! All in all, Shangri-La Hotels are always my first choice whenever I visit a new city!"

"Before my trip, I spent a long time deliberating on hotels and finally settled on Chuan Shang Xing. The main reason was its location, which is incredibly convenient for exploring the Taoxichuan market. To my surprise, when I arrived, I was absolutely blown away! I was extremely satisfied with the hotel's design, service, and location. Not only is Taoxichuan a great place to wander, but the hotel itself offers many photogenic spots, giving off a 'hidden gem in the city' vibe. I am very pleased. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jingdezhen."

"Zhushan Hotel is one of the four hotels located within the Huangling Scenic Area and probably offers the best value for money. It is quite new. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to and from the scenic area entrance. Initially, we didn't quite understand and walked the whole way, but after exploring the area once, we realized the shuttle can take you directly to the hotel reception center. Once you get off the elevator, you are right on Tianjie (Sky Street), which is very convenient. It's best to ask the front desk for clear instructions upon check-in. The hotel rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and it is very clean. The housekeeping staff are enthusiastic. Breakfast is served in a centralized location shared by all the hotels, so it gets quite crowded during peak hours. The only downside this time was that we stayed in Building 5, and getting to the main lobby required taking three different elevators, which was a bit of a hassle. Everything else was pretty good."

"I've always heard that the night view of Wangxian Valley is absolutely stunning, and this time I finally came to see it for myself! After entering the mountains, there were streams all along the way. The boardwalk extended through the canyon, and the air was filled with the scent of plants and trees. It was very comfortable to walk on, and one wouldn't feel stifled. The hanging pavilions on the cliff are arranged in a staggered pattern. During the day, they appear quaint and charming, making them already excellent subjects for photography. Thank you, Housekeeper Huanhuan. As the sky gradually darkened and the lights slowly came on, that kind of awe-inspiring experience is truly difficult to put into words. Many people ask about the best entry time, parking locations, and nearby accommodations. "Autumn's fairy tale town, half misty rain, half poetry, half stairs, half slopes. When you come to Wuyuan, you must see Huangling's 'sun-drying autumn' (晒秋). If it's a holiday, definitely stay overnight. You can enjoy the night view performance in the evening, and the next day, before the crowds arrive, you can easily take serene photos of Huangling's 'sun-drying autumn'. I highly recommend Yishanju for accommodation. Its location is absolutely superb. Right outside, you'll find 'sun-drying autumn' photo spots, and taking the elevator to the first floor directly leads to Shuijie (Water Street). The rooms are clean and hygienic. For three adults and one child, the pink-themed family balcony room was spacious, and opening the window revealed mountain views. A light rain added to the autumn charm with its misty atmosphere. My friend's king-size balcony room had an even better location, offering direct views of the 'sun-drying autumn' spot from the main street. Breakfast is provided with a shuttle service to the bamboo house across the street, which is at a lower elevation. The breakfast spread is comprehensive, so you'll definitely eat your fill. Guests staying at the hotel have an exclusive cable car channel for ascending the mountain. Upon disembarking the cable car, there's a shuttle bus that takes you directly to the hotel reception. There are many dining options throughout the scenic area. I highly recommend staying a night at Yishanju."

"The room was spotless and free of any smoke smell, which was a big plus. Shortly after checking in, a welcome fruit platter was delivered, and to my surprise, it even included physalis (groundcherry) – I haven't seen this outside of Northeast China before, so that was a delightful surprise. The room's view was excellent, being on the 65th floor, offering a stunning high-altitude river view. At night, overlooking the Gan River and the magnificent night view of Tengwang Pavilion was breathtaking. The afternoon lounge was also quite good. The afternoon tea offered a decent selection of desserts and hot food. Enjoying a lovely meal while sitting by the window and admiring the scenery was truly wonderful. In the evening, the lounge (hh) even offered a choice of steak or lamb chops; I went with the lamb chops, and they were deliciously rich in flavor. Dinner at Xin Nan Xuan downstairs was excellent. Compared to popular 'influencer' restaurants outside, both the price and quality were far superior, with generous portions and fantastic taste. Service was very friendly. I used the member check-in counter, even though I'm not a member, because there was no one else there, and they didn't object. Since I had an early morning flight the next day and left quite early, they thoughtfully prepared a grab-and-go breakfast for me, which was very considerate."

"The room is very good for a tent, better than many hotels. The tent is clean, but after all, there are more bugs in the mountains, which can't be helped. The key point is the environment, the view of the mountains is small, the scenery is unobstructed, the mountains and forests are quiet, in short, I like it very much, and it's not a wasted trip."

"This hotel truly lives up to its reputation as the best in Jingdezhen. Considering its local design integration, convenience for sightseeing, restaurant quality, and overall facilities, I'd give it a solid thumbs-up! 👍 Given that most Jiangxi cuisine tends to be quite rich, and I was worried my child wouldn't like it, I prioritized staying at Hyatt Regency Jingdezhen Taoxichuan, as Hyatt hotels are generally known for their excellent F&B. After checking in, it was indeed scorching hot one day, so we barely left the hotel. After breakfast, we took advantage of the in-house travel photography service. The fried dough sticks with sticky rice cakes at breakfast were incredibly delicious; I'm still thinking about them! I must specifically commend On My Way Photography. The long-haired photographer was very efficient and great at boosting our mood. We were very happy with the photos from a shoot that lasted less than an hour, which significantly enhanced our entire trip. For lunch, we just had a simple meal at the Western restaurant, then went back to the room to rest. Later in the afternoon, when the UV index was a bit lower, we explored Taoxichuan for about two hours before returning to the hotel for the buffet dinner. Our second day was Qixi Festival, and the seafood buffet was very lavish, with a fantastic live singer. All three meals were top-notch, making it completely reassuring for those traveling with seniors and children. If you have concerns about local dining, I highly recommend staying at Hyatt! Finally, I have two suggestions. Firstly, the room was too dark. I understand that this might be for design consistency and ambiance, but lighting needs to be considered. Adding adjustable brighter lights (seriously, wouldn't it be easy to add a few more lamps that actually illuminate the room?) would be helpful. Otherwise, it's so dark that watching TV (which was also broken with severe blue light issues) caused eye strain. Secondly, regarding hygiene details: it's fine that the hairdryer isn't a Dyson, Laifen is also great, but could the lint in the air intake be cleaned regularly? I suggest the hotel not be too stingy where it counts. After all, it's priced like hotels in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai regions, and its occupancy rate is good year-round. They could definitely upgrade the amenities, for example, by providing a capsule coffee machine. On the staff side, they were excellent. Initially, we were given a room facing the street which was very noisy. I called the front desk, and they quickly sent someone to move us to a quiet room. I'd also like to specifically commend the concierge. She contacted us before check-in, and when I needed a document printed mid-stay, communication via WeChat was very smooth, and someone quickly delivered it to our room. Thank you! 🌹"
