"The room was clean and tidy, with complete and comfortable facilities. From the room, you could see the Xijiang River and the poetic Changzhou Island. Breakfast was abundant and healthy. The staff were warm and polite, and the tea quality at Yunshang Tea House was quite good."

"This hotel offers exceptional service for its price point. Upon arrival, someone immediately assisted us with our luggage, and the lovely front desk staff escorted us to our room. The service was effortlessly attentive whenever we needed anything. I also have to commend the breakfast – the live kitchen cooked fresh dishes on the spot, with no shortcuts taken, and refills were prompt. We visited on a weekday, and they didn't compromise on food quality just because there were fewer guests. The rice noodles were delicious! Every breakfast item showcased local specialties while maintaining great flavor. They even had freshly grilled steaks, and the chefs were all smiles, which really brightened our day. It was very hot in Guilin in July, and my child spent an hour in the 5th-floor pool. They thoughtfully activated the wave machine for us! Even though the pool is small, it was perfectly adequate for kids to have fun, and they provided inner tubes and kickboards. The room itself was even better – we had a direct view of the Twin Pagodas. It rained that evening in Guilin, and the Twin Pagodas in the rain were absolutely stunning. I must praise the sofa on the balcony; it was incredibly comfortable! You could practically sleep on it – not those stiff, uncomfortable types of sofas, which shows real attention to detail. The room offered views of the Twin Pagodas, the lake, and the surrounding mountains in the distance; the scenery was breathtaking! This will definitely be our first choice next time we visit Guilin!"

"The Shangri-La Nanning is absolutely the top choice for a 'no-brainer' stay when visiting the 'Green City' Nanning! The location is impeccable, right in the heart of the ASEAN Business District, with direct access to MixC Mall downstairs, offering a one-stop shop for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The subway is right next door, making it convenient to get anywhere. The butler, Jenna, provided attentive service, always accommodating our requests and quickly resolving any issues, ensuring I had an excellent stay at the Shangri-La Nanning. The service team, Helen, Wynn, Maddy, and Alice, were all wonderful. The room facilities are very new, and the 45-square-meter space is spacious and bright. The hairdryer and marble bathtub exude quality. Whether for a business trip or a family vacation, the high-rise views and first-class service perfectly meet all needs. The value for money is exceptional, and I will not hesitate to choose this place again on my next visit to Nanning."

"The hotel is just across the road from Ailian Lake Park. The cherry blossoms and water lilies in the park are currently in full bloom, making for a nice view. However, breakfast was just average. At night, the surrounding area was incredibly noisy with loud music that went on until very late."

"If you are still looking for a hotel in Guilin, you can stop searching I rarely write such detailed reviews but this place really deserves it Everything here is amazing - from the location to the service. Every little detail is carefully thought out to make your stay comfortable, relaxing, and stress-free The staff impressed me the most. They notice small details and truly care about guests. At first, I was surprised that even staff members I had never met before already knew my room number. It was a little funny and unexpected 😄 But like this you understand the high level of the service Everyone was so kind to me and always ready to help 🥺 Even if someone doesn’t speak English, they quickly use a translator and do their best to solve any problem The room is beautiful and very comfortable. The bed and pillows are probably one of my favorite parts of the stay - I honestly did not want to leave them! The room has everything you need for a relaxing stay, including nice Chinese tea, coffee, and many small details that make you feel at home like bath salt. Another very useful detail for travelers is the free self-service laundry. When you travel for a longer time, having a place where you can easily wash your clothes is a huge advantage The breakfast was also a wonderful surprise. While traveling around China, I often found that hotel breakfasts were mostly focused on Chinese food, which can sometimes be difficult for international travelers. Here, there is also a great Western breakfast with enough choices Another amazing part is the number of complimentary experiences included in the stay. Fresh fruits every day, afternoon drinks with desserts, cultural activities, and more. Sometimes there are so many things to enjoy that you don’t even want to leave the hotel😅 I especially loved the Chinese calligraphy experience. Writing calligraphy while two lovely parrots sometimes came to sit on my shoulder felt like a real journey into traditional Chinese culture. You can also create small handmade souvenirs, which makes the experience even more memorable The location is perfect, with incredible mountain views all around. And one small detail that I really appreciated: the panoramic windows are always perfectly clean. In many hotels, beautiful views are ruined by dirty windows, but here you can fully enjoy the scenery P.S.: just one small suggestion it would be great to have a “Do not disturb” sign. Some guests may want to have some private time and make sure that nobody enters the room"

"As a huge hotel enthusiast who has stayed at numerous high-end hotels both domestically and internationally, this stay at Song Hotel was once again a pleasant surprise, exceeding my expectations. This surprise wasn't sudden; it accumulated little by little throughout the stay, transforming into a constant sense of awe and wonder. Initially, the hotel's color scheme seemed a bit odd, but I later learned it was the color of the sunset glow on the old buildings. This nostalgic and genuine warmth permeated every aspect of the hotel's service. Because the hotel was still in its soft opening phase, I was upgraded to a suite! I was overjoyed. 🛏️ Suite Experience Over 100 square meters. The suite included an indoor soaking tub and swimming pool. The color scheme was simple and elegant—a combination of off-white, light brown, and dark wood tones, instantly creating a relaxing atmosphere. The view from the window overlooked the Silver Beach! The room amenities were top-of-the-line, from bedding to toiletries, with attention to detail everywhere. 🍽️ Dining Stunning Completely unlike anything I'd expected from a third-tier city. The selection of breakfast items was simply unbelievable for a city like this. Makana Bakery, located in the bakery, offers locally inspired bread innovations—Guangxi Liubao Tea Croissant, Pandan Coconut Croissant, Lychee Sea Salt Croissant—bringing local flavors and French baking techniques together beautifully, rivaling boutique bakeries in first-tier cities. I tried the coffee shop, Chinese restaurant, and ice cream shop one by one, and each exceeded my expectations. The hotel dedicated significant space to local cultural exhibitions. As a keen citywalker, I was exhausted from exploring Beihai's old streets and various seaside areas, but surprisingly, the most insightful experience of the city came from the hotel's exhibition hall 🤣 The curation was excellent. The curatorial text and style were tasteful. It wasn't just a perfunctory display of folk customs, but a genuine exploration of the city's historical context and way of life—from maritime culture to the memories of the Tanka people, from the old street fabric to the evolution of contemporary Beihai. It was also a photogenic spot. Another feature of the hotel is the inclusion of a collection space showcasing several high-quality niche brands. From luxury lifestyle products to carefully selected souvenirs, everything was practical, stylish, and imbued with Beihai's essence. These brands offer excellent taste and value for money. Although I also visited other places and tried several hotels, I felt that this hotel was enough for my trip to Beihai. I could relax, enjoy the sea view, shop, and eat to my heart's content. Finally, let me talk about the service. It wasn't the professional hotel service I'd expected. Having stayed in top-tier hotels, I understand the natural and welcoming atmosphere of a butler. But perhaps because it had just opened, many people's eyes held a touch of naivety and unfamiliarity. They were cautious yet attentive, which was especially endearing. That simple, unfamiliar sincerity was touching. You could see their dedication. As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I've stayed in countless great hotels. This is the first time I've written such a thoughtful review. Because this place is more than just a hotel; it allowed me to rediscover Beihai. It also solved the pain points of traveling in a third- or fourth-tier city regarding dining, service, and the aesthetics and practicality of souvenirs (and the value for money was excellent). This wasn't just a place to stay; it was a key to understanding Beihai and a haven for my short stay."

"A very comfortable stay! The room was simple, modern, and clean. Hyatt's 'Good Dream' mattress was so soft and comfy, I didn't want to get out of bed. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, there was a 55-inch large TV, and a separate workspace, all well-appointed. The soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. 😴 The breakfast was fantastic too! Enjoying a bowl of luosifen (river snail noodles) while admiring the river view at the Grand Gallery restaurant truly felt like the right way to experience Liuzhou! They had all the local specialties like Sanjiang zongzi and oil tea, with a rich mix of Chinese and Western options. What was even more surprising was that some of the most popular luosifen shops were right near the hotel, so we didn't have to drag our luggage around to queue. 😄 KRIS, one of the staff members, was incredibly thoughtful ❤️ and helped us with many issues. If I come to Liuzhou again, this will definitely be my top choice."

"My stay at Nanning Marriott Hotel was absolutely fantastic, and I have to give a huge shoutout to the staff who took such great care of me these past few days! May Pink at the front desk was incredibly gentle and professional. She handled my check-in meticulously and patiently, and even proactively shared local travel and transportation tips. Any questions I had were quickly and properly resolved. Her attentive and thoughtful service throughout made me feel right at home. Aaron, Eva, and Jonathan from the F&B department were also exceptionally dedicated. They were warm and polite during meals, promptly responded to my requests for dishes or special requirements, and ensured food was served and refilled meticulously. Their service was perfectly balanced, creating a very comfortable dining atmosphere. The hotel's environment, rooms, and breakfast were all of excellent quality to begin with, but it was the genuine and heartwarming service from these staff members that made my entire trip to Nanning especially pleasant. The five-star service truly lives up to its reputation. This will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Nanning – highly recommended!"
