Guest UserMy friend and I traveled from HK to Futian Mandarin Oriental to celebrate a birthday. I'd researched several hotels online beforehand and ultimately chose MO, a hotel I hadn't stayed at before. My main reasons were the hotel's reputation for quality and excellent service, as well as its convenient location for shopping, with a mall and many dining options right downstairs. From the moment we stepped out of the car and into the hotel, we could immediately tell it was different from other five-star establishments. The experience, from being greeted upon arrival, having our luggage promptly taken, being escorted to the 78th floor for check-in, and finally shown to our room, was incredibly smooth and warm. By the time we left, at least eight hotel staff members had interacted with us, and every single one was genuinely friendly and kind. This 100% positive interaction rate is something I've rarely encountered over the years.
For me, the air conditioning's coolness and quietness, as well as absolute cleanliness and a modern feel, are paramount in a hotel room, and they scored full marks on all counts. (I learned that this hotel has only been open for four years, and I truly hope they can maintain this excellent standard, as it's crucial for guests like us). I'd like to thank the gentleman who checked us in â I've forgotten his name, but he was incredibly thoughtful and proactive in anticipating our needs, making arrangements for us to attend a concert on June 26th. I also want to thank the lovely Victor, who showed us to our room, gave us a detailed introduction to the hotel, and took photos for us. And a special thank you to Brian, the 'Chef Concierge' (Golden Key member), who satisfied our curiosity by explaining the origin and role of the Chinese Golden Key concierges. Besides having a wonderful birthday trip, we also gained a rich experience in human connection. Thank you to everyone at Futian MO. We'll definitely be staying here again! ^.^

Anonymous UserThis time, we celebrated our anniversary by staying in an Executive Room at the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, and the overall experience was excellent. As soon as we got out of the car, the bellboy promptly came over to help with our luggage, and then we checked in directly at the Executive Lounge. It was very efficient, and we didn't have to wait in line at the main lobby. The hotel had thoughtfully prepared a card and a cake to celebrate our anniversary, which was a very nice touch.
What left the deepest impression was the service. No matter where we were in the hotel, every staff member we encountered greeted us kindly, making us feel right at home. I'd especially like to commend Nicolo from the Executive Lounge, Oriental Club. From the moment we checked in, he was incredibly welcoming. Every time we visited the Executive Lounge, he remembered our names and always chatted with us pleasantly, with a smile on his face. His service was professional and friendly, adding many wonderful memories to our trip.
Additionally, Yamy and Silvia, who handled our check-out at the Executive Lounge, proactively asked if we wanted to pack some drinks and also gave us a refrigerator magnet.
The only thing that needs improvement is the late check-out policy. The front desk initially told me that it depended on availability and was generally not possible, and in the end, they could only extend it until 2 PM. Considering that hotels of a similar caliber usually offer more flexible late check-out options, I hope the hotel will actively consider extending the late check-out time.

Guest UserA truly satisfying stay! The JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen is indeed a top-tier hotel. The lobby exudes a light luxury and grand atmosphere, and the public areas are spotlessly clean. The staff at check-in were very professional and explained everything meticulously. The room layout was well-designed, the furnishings were exquisite, and the cleanliness was meticulously maintainedâeven the corners were sparkling clean. The mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a sound sleep until morning. During my leisure time, strolling around the hotel was very pleasant, offering a tranquil and comfortable environment. The guest relations team proactively checked on our experience, and any issues were addressed promptly. The hotel restaurants offered a wide variety of dishes with fresh ingredients. Overall, the experience was comfortable and relaxing, making it perfectly suitable for both short stays and longer trips. I genuinely recommend it to anyone traveling.

The overall service experience was fantastic, five-star recommended, and I'll definitely choose this place again for future family trips!

Anonymous UserThis is an older hotel located in a bustling area. The sea-view rooms offer a distant glimpse of the 'Fisher Girl' statue, though it's more of a 'glimpse' than a full 'view.' It's a shame that for such a well-known, established brand, the facilities are quite disappointing. It's also not very friendly for those driving. On a weekend affected by Typhoon Nangka along the coast, hotel parking became a real headache. Most of the B1 parking is outdoors, so you're bound to get wet in a downpour. B2 is an underground garage, but it's really only convenient for check-in. Once you're checked in and want to leave, it's a hassle. You check in at the front desk on the first floor. Out of 5 elevators, one is permanently stuck on the third floor. Of the remaining 4, only 2 go down to B2. To exit with your car after checking in, you first have to go to the first-floor front desk to scan a code. After scanning, if you get an elevator that only goes to B1, you either have to transfer to an elevator on the other side of B1, or hope you get lucky and catch an elevator that goes straight to B2. Because when you press the button on the first floor, the B1 elevator arrives first, and the B2 elevator will show it's going up. Unless there are other guests in the elevator also going to the garage, but you still need to scan on the first floor to leave, so the chance of getting a direct elevator to B2 is practically zero. The rooms are a bit larger, but the amenities are inferior to newer hotels. Tissues are only available at the sink; there are no tissues on the desk or nightstands in the room. The bathroom also lacks disposable toilet seat covers, which was quite disappointing.

Guest UserMy family and I had a very satisfying stay at the Hengqin Bay Hotel, which is perfect for families traveling with children.
The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the facilities were well-maintained, providing a high level of comfort. Room service was prompt; items were delivered quickly, and cleaning was thorough and thoughtful. They even provided children's toiletries, which was a nice touch for the little ones.
The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including Chinese and Western dishes, Cantonese dim sum, freshly cooked noodles, fruits, and desserts. There was plenty to choose from, and the food tasted good. Both adults and children could find something they liked, making it very convenient to eat well before heading to the theme park.
The hotel's amenities are excellent, with its own swimming pools and a water park. There are indoor and outdoor water play areas, so kids can swim and play to their heart's content, keeping them entertained for most of the day without even leaving the hotel.
There's also a small shop where you can buy snacks, daily necessities, and souvenirs, making simple purchases very convenient.
The free shuttle buses to and from Ocean Kingdom are frequent and punctual, making travel easy and stress-free. You don't have to worry about transportation, allowing for smooth trips to and from the park, which is very efficient.
Overall, the service was warm and attentive, and the hotel had a great vacation vibe. With its complete facilities for swimming, accommodation, dining, and transportation, it makes traveling with kids much easier. We will definitely prioritize staying here again on our next visit to Chimelong.

Guest UserFirst off, a big thank you to Flora for arranging everything! We stayed at Wanghailou and MGM before this, and while those were satisfactory, Angsana's service truly surprised us. They upgraded our original sea view room to a 'Premium Sea View,' which was fantastic. The elevator goes directly down to the pool, and the way the pool blends with the trees here creates a wonderful, Bali-like atmosphere. Plus, the sunshine in Zhuhai isn't as intense as in Sanya, making it feel very relaxing â a much more laid-back vibe than the scenic pool at Wanghailou. The only minor point was on the other side of the pool, it seemed like it needed a good clean, as there was a bit of plastic trash.
Since it wasn't a holiday, they also kindly arranged an early check-in and an extra hour for check-out, which I genuinely appreciated. At MGM, despite many empty rooms, they insisted on a 3 PM check-in, so comparisons are inevitable. The room facilities aren't brand new, but for the price point, they're perfectly fine, especially considering the neighboring hotels are over 3K.
The Thai restaurant, 'Miyan,' was delicious; every dish was excellent, even better than most Thai restaurants. Irene also helped us secure the only private room, making for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. My only suggestion: the price of the Coke was unnecessarily high. The food prices were reasonable, but the Coke felt really out of place. Also, I'd suggest considering packages that include the minibar. For a resort hotel, a small investment there could greatly enhance the guest experience. Overall, this was the best part of our trip, and we'll definitely be back!

King TwaseenHands down the best hotel Iâve booked on my entire business trip so far. If youâre travelling for work and flying in or out of Guangzhou Baiyun, this place is unbeatable â itâs minutes from the airport (near the T3 terminal) and just a short walk from Renhe Station on Metro Line 3 (Exit C1), so getting anywhere in the city is effortless.
The location keeps getting better. Itâs walking distance to Huatong Plaza and the Huatongli commercial street, with plenty of food options right there including KFC, McDonaldâs and Starbucks â so youâre never stuck for a meal or a coffee after a long day.
The room itself was beautifully decorated and genuinely comfortable. Best of all, it had English TV channels â this was the only hotel on my whole trip where I could actually sit down and watch something I understood, which meant a lot after busy days of meetings and sourcing.
But what really sealed the deal was the service. They held my luggage, helped me manage my orders, and the airport pick-up and drop-off made the whole stay stress-free. On top of that you get a pool, sauna and breakfast included. Honestly, my only regret is that I didnât book this hotel for the entire trip. Iâll be back next time Iâm in Guangzhou â highly recommended for business travellers.

Anonymous UserStaying in Shenzhen for a short stopover from Hong Kong, I simply made a casual note on my booking that it was my wife's birthday, without expecting any special arrangements. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room to find it decorated for a birthday, complete with a mini cake. During my stay, if I had any issues and contacted Joy, she was always prompt and efficient in her responses and problem-solving, never perfunctory.
The room cleaning was very thorough; it wasn't just superficially clean. The bedding was comfortable, and there was no standing water or grime in the bathroom corners, which made for a truly comfortable stay. The room itself was spacious and bright, and all the facilities I used daily worked smoothly. It was a very pleasant experience to relax in the room.
When needed, issues were also handled immediately.
The hotel's location is also very convenient. Getting a taxi or finding a restaurant is hassle-free. It's just a 5-minute walk to Coco Park and Ping An Finance Center, saving a lot of commuting time for out-of-town visitors. Overall, it was a very genuine stay, without unnecessary frills. This small birthday gesture left a very good impression.
