"Choosing Chunpo was hands down the best surprise of our Wuyi Mountain vacation. Our entire stay was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating, and I've already recommended it to all my friends planning a trip here. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the resort area, backed by Dawang Peak, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. There's a free shuttle to the scenic area, and San Gu Old Street is within walking distance, making getting around incredibly convenient. The entire hotel is designed with Song Dynasty landscape aesthetics at its core, covering over 100,000 square meters, with water features and gardens making up a large portion. Pavilions, bamboo corridors, and picturesque bridges are scattered throughout, and when the mist rises, it feels like stepping into an ancient painting. The unique boat entry experience adds a wonderful sense of ceremony, and in the evening, thousands of lanterns light up, creating a fantastic atmosphere. They even offer free Hanfu rentals for photoshoots, ensuring every shot is Instagram-worthy. In your leisure time, you can enjoy a tea ceremony by the stream, try tea art, calligraphy, and other 'Gentleman's Nine Arts' experiences, truly immersing yourself in Wuyi's tea culture. We stayed in a scenic view room this time, featuring panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and a viewing balcony. Opening the window revealed a stunning vista of layered mountains. The room amenities were thoughtfully chosen, with a soft King Koil mattress for a good night's sleep, a Dyson hairdryer, and L'Occitane toiletries. The smart devices were easy to use, and the oversized bathtub offered a perfect spot to relax and admire the scenery, washing away all fatigue. Daily fresh fruit and Wuyi rock tea as a gift showed meticulous attention to detail. The comprehensive family-friendly amenities, including children's bathrobes and toiletries, made traveling with kids completely stress-free. The service was attentive and thoughtful. Before check-in, our butler proactively reached out to understand our needs. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a warm cup of Dahongpao tea. Luggage handling and electric buggies around the property were readily available on call, with quick responses that never felt intrusive. The self-service breakfast offered a rich variety, including local specialties like Zixi noodles, Guangbing, and Ai Cao Guo, along with various warming and flavorful stews. The Chinese restaurant served authentic Wuyi local flavors, and the waterside private dining rooms offered a unique dining experience with stunning views. The hotel's facilities are excellent, with a heated swimming pool and a gym open all day, providing plenty of leisure options. Away from the city's noise, embracing the charm of Song Dynasty landscapes, the service, environment, and facilities are all impeccable. It's perfectly suited for both couples and families on vacation. When I return to Wuyi Mountain, Chunpo will undoubtedly be my first choice again."

"I chose the Intercontinental in Fuzhou. Although the hotel isn't brand new, its location is excellent, with convenient transportation (very close to Metro Line 1). The overall facilities are well-maintained, and the cleanliness and service details are spot on. A special thanks to LEGAL at the front desk for assigning us a room with a fantastic view during check-in! I also have a few suggestions regarding the breakfast at the café: ❶ The coffee quality is quite soso. I recommend upgrading the machine and beans. ❷ This is the first time I've seen omelets made in advance, and without even asking guests about their ingredient preferences – everything was just added in. It would be much better to prepare them fresh to order. ❸ The congee station doesn't have enough space for guests to put their bowls down. It's quite easy to spill and get burned, or even cause disputes, especially when holding a plate in one hand and trying to serve congee with the other."

"The new Chinese-style lobby, infused with Fujian intangible cultural heritage designs, feels both upscale and authentically local. From the high-rise, panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you can effortlessly take in the sunrise, sunset, and the dazzling bridge and Ferris wheel night views. Soaking in the bathtub by the window while enjoying the nightscape is absolutely divine. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The breakfast spread offers a wide variety of Fujian snacks, with freshly prepared Shacha noodles and vermicelli paste that taste genuinely authentic. Downstairs, you'll find the lively Taihe commercial district, making dining and getting around super convenient. The hotel also boasts excellent amenities like a heated swimming pool and an executive lounge, and the service is wonderfully warm and attentive. This is definitely the top choice for a vacation in Quanzhou, worth a second visit!"

"Had a fantastic stay! The location is super convenient for getting around, and there are plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop nearby. The room was spotless, spacious, and didn't feel cramped at all. The bedding was really comfortable, and the soundproofing was great – it was very quiet. The front desk staff were lovely and very responsive to any requests, paying attention to all the little details. Overall, it's excellent value for money. I felt comfortable and at ease during my stay. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Fuzhou!"

"The most unbearable thing about this hotel for me was the temperature. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, it felt stuffy and hot. When we checked in at the front desk, I even asked the staff about the hotel's temperature setting, and she said it was set at a constant 26 degrees Celsius. Sure enough, when we got to the room, the thermostat displayed 26 degrees. Even after lowering the temperature, there was no change at all. It was unbearable trying to sleep at night, so I called down. They sent an engineer who fiddled with the thermostat, bringing the display down to around 23 degrees, but honestly, it didn't feel much cooler; it still felt hot. Especially with the thick duvet, I couldn't get any sleep, so I had to call again and ask for a fan. The next day, I visited a client in the office building right next to the hotel. The moment I entered the office lobby, it immediately felt cool and comfortable. Just a single door separated us, and the difference in temperature settings between the hotel and the office building was noticeable. My client's office also felt comfortably cool. So, with it being summer now, having the hotel set at a constant 26 degrees is really unacceptable. If I hadn't had something important to do the next day and needed to check out properly, I honestly would have checked out and left right then and there."

"Stayed for four nights with my 70-something mother and two young children (extended one day due to a typhoon), and the entire experience was incredibly satisfying. The 'Nailong' themed room was a huge hit with the kids; they loved crawling in and out of the tent and playing with the Nailong plushies every day. While the hotel facilities show some age, they are clean and tidy, and the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly, making it comfortable for both the elderly and children. The service was exceptionally thoughtful. On the night we checked in, they brought us a complimentary sweet soup, and during our stay, they even prepared a fruit platter to celebrate my mother's birthday, which truly touched my family. They also kindly helped us arrange an extension during the typhoon, which was a great relief. The location is excellent, with mature commercial areas nearby, making taxi travel very convenient, and it's not far from various attractions. It was a warm, stress-free stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Fuzhou."

"Exceeded my expectations, I'll definitely choose Andaz again next time! The location is superb, right in the city center of the island, making it super convenient for subways and taxis. Everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping is right there, so you don't waste time commuting – perfect for lazy travelers. The service from check-in to check-out was impeccable; all the staff were enthusiastic and thoughtful, especially Claire, who was professional and meticulous throughout. We opted to dine at the hotel for dinner; the Peking duck needs to be pre-ordered, as it's roasted fresh in an open oven, and it's definitely worth trying. The hotel itself perfectly blends Nanyang retro charm with modern chic. Every photo you take looks like a high-quality shot, and my friend and I could easily spend a whole day here without going out, especially to avoid the sun. They even had handicraft activities during the summer; I hope to experience them next time!"

"This hotel is truly commendable and deserves a lot of praise. As a new hotel, the rooms were practically odorless. The breakfast was plentiful with fresh ingredients. The front desk lady was sweet and gentle, and the staff's service was attentive and thorough. They actively resolved any issues and tried their best to meet guests' needs. Special shout-out to Xiao Mi and Xiao Lin! Although the decor has a nightclub vibe, it's also high-end and chic. My only minor critique is that the lobby's air freshener scent was a bit too strong and gaudy; a more fresh and elegant fragrance would better reflect the hotel's taste and class."

"Our overall experience during this stay was incredibly satisfying. The pool team, in particular, was outstanding. Special mention goes to Chen and Li, who worked from 6 AM to 3 PM; they displayed exceptional professionalism. They were consistently focused and responsible during their shifts, never distracted by their phones, always attentive to the children's safety, and provided meticulous and appropriate service. Their dedication and expertise left us with a very deep and positive impression of the hotel, even making us consider extending our stay. While I don't recall the names of the other pool staff, they too left a strong and positive impression."

Perched on the banks of the picturesque West Lake, the hotel not only boasts the 'first-floor view of lake and mountains,' but also connects seamlessly with the surrounding city. Whether gazing down from your room's floor-to-ceiling windows or strolling along the hotel's private access to the West Lake boardwalk, the sweeping lake and mountain views instantly melt away travel fatigue. What truly impressed me about this established hotel was its omnipresent 'tourist guide' and exceptional personalized care. From the custom sneaker model, thoughtfully offering free loan services and printed with the West Lake loop route, to the transparent guide board by the window clearly marking major attractions, everything silently spoke to the hotel's dedication. Here, you'll never feel lost; every step takes you through a living canvas of scenery and history. Stepping into the room, this meticulous attention to detail permeated every corner. As soon as I set down my luggage, a vibrant and beautifully arranged seasonal fruit platter caught my eye, instantly setting a cheerful holiday mood. But the most delightful surprise was the bathroom experience: the oversized showerhead delivered powerful yet gentle water flow, washing away all weariness and creating an incredibly comfortable and relaxing private space. Even more commendable was the excellent soundproofing; the superior insulation blocked out external noise, allowing for a deep and peaceful night's sleep in this bustling city. Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel is more than just a place to rest; it's a travel guide who understands you and a thoughtful butler. If you're looking for a relaxing journey where you 'sleep amidst the scenery,' this is undoubtedly the perfect choice."
