"【Overall Impression】This hotel has a 'Nanyang' (Southeast Asian) flair with local snacks and drinks. The toiletries are Byredo and include lotion (there's a store on the first basement floor of MixC). I remember them being La Bottega previously? The hotel boasts a gym, outdoor pool, Nanyang-themed craft activities, photo spots, a lobby bar, happy hour, and more – quite a rich selection of amenities. MixC is right next door, perfect for shopping, catching a movie, or letting the kids burn off some energy, making it a great option for a staycation. If your budget allows, I’d generally recommend it. 【Service】The service remains excellent overall. 1. The front desk staff was very kind and upgraded us to a higher floor room with a better view. 2. Whether it was the front desk, lobby bar, lounge, 101 restaurant, gym (24-hour access with room card), or the pool (perfect temperature, though it's outdoors)… everyone we encountered was incredibly observant – they’d press the elevator for you in advance, offer directions, or ask if you needed help if you had a lot of things in your hands. It’s impressive that the entire team maintained this quality during the busy summer period. 3. What surprised me most was that when I booked, the Nanyang craft class was fully booked. I was a bit disappointed, but the staff provided us with the materials so we could do it ourselves in the room, even though we couldn't do it on-site. Their problem-solving attitude and approach really impressed me. 4. They promptly refilled items that ran out at breakfast, which was a vast improvement compared to some previous experiences where things felt a bit stingy. 【Ambiance】1. It's very photogenic and well-designed; you could spend a long time taking photos without even leaving the hotel. So, individuality and unique design are quite important. 2. Once the curtains in the room are drawn, it gets perfectly dark, which is great for sleeping. 【Dining】1. Perhaps due to cost control, the items in the room's minibar have changed (it used to have Basao tea, was that a limited-time offering?). The offerings at the lobby bar and happy hour have also become fewer and simpler, but the quality is still decent… 2. The breakfast at 101 restaurant felt less appealing than before… The Shacha noodle soup base tasted like laksa, and the noodle texture was off. What was clearly mini wontons was called 'bianshi', and the peanut soup only had the raw ingredients but the taste and texture weren't quite right. The mianxian糊 (vermicelli paste) texture was also off, which made me not even want to try the salty rice. And while the oyster omelet and 'manjian gao' (pancakes) tasted okay, they weren't actually what they were supposed to be… (Fortunately, there are alternatives like Shacha noodle shops, snack bars, and street food stalls nearby)… If I hadn't eaten out before, these 'specialty snacks' at breakfast would have been very misleading… 3. To be fair, the Western-style offerings were all good – bread, desserts, etc. 4. There were small bugs in the restaurant; I encountered one right after sitting down, and then another flew into my mini wontons when I went to get them later… 【Other】1. I hope the breakfast specialty snacks can be improved. 2. I wish the dishes and their names would match (some dish names on the labels lagged behind after changes. It felt a bit awkward seeing someone holding 'curry puffs' and telling their child it was 'wuxiang' (five-spice fritters); the chicken popcorn at happy hour was labeled as something else, though it was corrected later). 3. My friend arrived at breakfast first, and I joined later. I was questioned a bit upon entry, and then followed to my friend’s table before they left, which made me feel untrusted… Had someone tried to sneak in for free breakfast before? 4. On Ctrip, a 5 is 'exceeded expectations,' 4.5 is 'satisfied,' and 4 is 'quite satisfied.' I feel that anything 4.25 or above is pretty good… Unfortunately, everyone is so competitive these days, and I understand the difficulties faced by those in the industry. I gave a score I thought was quite good before, only to find out it caused trouble for others… Now, if there are no major issues, I just give a supportive 5 stars…"

"Booked this hotel for a business trip. The front desk staff were friendly and incredibly diligent. They offered turn-down service, and the breakfast in the morning had a great variety and was very plentiful. It's only one bus stop away from the airport and easy to find."

"1. I received a free room upgrade with a fantastic view and a lovely terrace, which really enhanced the vacation feel. 2. I was able to retrieve my forgotten charging cable an hour after checking out, and they even helped me mail it; very trustworthy service. 3. All the staff were highly professional, polite, and spoke softly, making for a great experience. 4. The room was comfortable, and they even provided buckwheat pillows. The mattress was flippable, and the firm side was excellent for sleeping. Highly recommend! If I return to Wuyishan, I'll definitely choose Chunbo again."

"This is an established five-star hotel in Fuzhou, and its location is truly exceptional. It's right next to Wuyi Square, and you can walk to Nanmendou Metro Station. The lobby is grand and elegant, and the guest rooms are spacious and clean. The floor-to-ceiling windows on the higher floors offer expansive views, allowing you to overlook the city streets. The bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. The staff are polite and attentive, and check-in was efficient. The breakfast selection is rich and varied, and facilities like the heated pool and gym are well-equipped. It's a convenient place to stay for both business trips and tourism, making travel hassle-free. Overall, the experience was great and it's highly recommended."

"Over the past few years, I've mostly opted for business hotels, so it's been a while since I stayed at an established five-star. Coincidentally, I've been reading up on hotel management lately, and my friend and I were meeting near SM in Xiamen, so I booked the Sheraton. The service, as expected from a long-standing brand, was consistently reliable. My stay happened to coincide with the hotel's 20th anniversary, so it was quite busy. We checked in around 1 PM, and the room would be ready in about 40 minutes, but everything was handled very efficiently. After checking in, the front desk expedited the room cleaning, so we went up to the 7th floor to swim in the meantime. The pool was very clean, and all the other sports facilities were well-equipped. Our room was on the 22nd floor with a great view of Egret Park's lake. It was very quiet for sleeping, and any service requests were promptly attended to. I particularly loved the scent of the hotel's toiletries. On the downside, the pillows weren't very comfortable, and I recall five-star hotels used to provide welcome fruit, which wasn't available this time. Not sure if it's a cost-saving measure, haha."

"Staying at Sanbao Mansion in Fuzhou was an absolutely amazing experience! It's right next to the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and shopping, yet the courtyard itself is remarkably peaceful. The entire building is a non-heritage Fujianese-style ancient structure, with iconic saddle-shaped firewalls and swallowtail eaves that are particularly charming. The ancient grey plaster sculptures on the walls are intricately detailed, and you can see non-heritage wood and stone carvings everywhere. The six courtyards, with their small bridges and flowing water, are incredibly photogenic for traditional Chinese-style pictures. The room was clean and comfortable, and the butler thoughtfully delivered a complimentary sweet soup in the evening. Breakfast included local snacks, allowing for an immersive experience of Fuzhou's ancient house heritage. You absolutely must stay here when you visit Fuzhou!"

"Absolutely loved my stay here. The hotel is brand new, beautifully designed, and everything feels incredibly clean and well maintained. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were next level from the moment I arrived. I was kindly given a complimentary room upgrade as well as access to the lounge, which made the stay even more special. The dining was also excellent. I tried both the Italian and Chinese restaurants and both were genuinely top notch, with great food, presentation, and service. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in Xiamen. Would absolutely stay again."

"Yesterday, I stayed at the newly opened Xiamen Jimei Marriott. It was clean and fresh, and the staff were warm and polite. The location is a significant advantage, very close to Xiamen North Railway Station and the airport, which is super convenient for travelers needing to catch high-speed trains or flights. You can easily take a taxi to Joy City nearby. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Xiamen. Highly recommended! 👍"

"You can check out the views from the river-view and city-view rooms yourself! As a DoubleTree by Hilton, the breakfast is worth commending; it features local Zhangzhou specialties and offers a greater variety than other Hilton hotels. It's clean and plentiful! The pool is beautiful and clean! The only downsides are that the soundproofing is a bit poor, and the water pressure is a little low due to being on a high floor. Everything else is fine though! The bedding is clean, there's plenty of sunlight, and the room gets dark enough at night for a good sleep! The front desk service is also very good. Overall, it's pretty decent, which is why I stayed for three consecutive nights!"

"Staying here is definitely worth it. We chose the Waldorf Astoria because we were visiting my grandma in Xiamen, and her home in Lianhua Xincun was just a 5-minute walk away, visible even from our room. A big thank you to our personal concierges, Nico and Veve. We stayed for 2 days, and Nico contacted me before check-in to arrange a room upgrade to the highest floor, the 37th. Later, when my dad checked in, they even gave us an extra breakfast, and an additional turndown service dessert. The entire stay was very pleasant, with a very high standard of service. From the moment we arrived at the door, someone was there to greet us. The swimming pool is definitely worth checking out; my mom and I spent two afternoons lounging by the pool. Recently, they've even offered Hello Kitty afternoon tea served poolside. The breakfast was good, with a decent variety of choices. The desserts were of a very high standard, and the service was excellent. However, the seating area felt a bit crowded, even though we visited during what wasn't considered a peak season. It's highly recommended. The in-room facilities were impeccable, and room service, like delivering an ice bucket, was very prompt! The front desk even helped us mail postcards. Looking forward to our next visit to Xiamen."
