Hotel near Xunpu Village/Donghai Taihe Plaza,Quanzhou
As an international hotel brand, InterContinental Quanzhou has become a highly anticipated core building in the city with its transcendent style and excellent quality. The hotel is located in the Donghai Taihe Plaza, which is known as a commercial aircraft carrier. It is built along the Jinjiang River and enjoys the beautiful city scenery. It is close to the Taikoo Plaza in the East Bay and the Xiapu Folk Culture Village. It is only a 20-minute drive from Jinjiang International Airport, a 30-minute drive from Quanzhou Railway Station, and a 5-minute drive to Jinjiang Bridge. InterContinental Quanzhou is happy to share more excitement with you, allowing you to enjoy the "InterContinental Life" while experiencing the comfort of "Knowing and Traveling in Quanzhou".

"This is probably the best hotel in Quanzhou. It's located right by Jinjiang Bridge, offering views of the river and Quanzhou's Eye. However, it's in a new district, about a twenty-minute drive from attractions like Kaiyuan Temple. The executive room was spacious, clean, and had great views, especially for the night light show. Since it was my birthday, the hotel even decorated the room in advance. Breakfast included Quanzhou local specialties. The executive lounge dinner could be enjoyed as a seafood buffet on the fifth floor, which was a real highlight. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel also gave out mooncakes. I also tried the gym, and the pool looked good too. I'll definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to friends."

This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"Baixiang Hotel is one of the most satisfying hotels I've stayed at recently. It seems to be the tallest building in Longyan, and the lobby is very grand. The rooms are spacious, and the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming. I especially want to commend a lady with a somewhat complex surname and glasses; she was very professional and deserves high praise. There's a claw machine on the first floor, and the staff member there even gave my two children a few extra game tokens, which they loved. All the other staff also provided excellent service. In the evening, when the technician came to fix the TV, he rang the doorbell and, after I opened the door, repeatedly confirmed if it was convenient for him to enter before coming in, which was very professional. The breakfast was quite good; the Fuding meat slices and noodles were exceptional. The coffee was a bit subpar, and there weren't many drink options, but there was enough to eat. The prices are usually very affordable, and they didn't raise them much during the ***** New Year. The suite was large, which I really liked. I'll definitely be back."

"The hotel's location is excellent and the staff are warm and professional. I was very satisfied throughout my stay. Amity arranged rooms on the same floor with fruit and amenities, Yoyo quickly handled check-in, and Jade processed my check-out and bill quickly. It was a good stay. After checking out, I realized I'd left my tablet in the room. When I went back to the front desk, they handled it very quickly. I also happened to run into the cleaning lady in my room who was very helpful in looking for my tablet. I'll choose this hotel again next time I'm in Fuzhou!"

Hotel near Wanda Plaza/Minnan Water Town,Zhangzhou
DoubleTree by Hilton Zhangzhou is located in the center of Longwen District, Zhangzhou, with convenient transportation. It is nearby T·ONE street mall and Greenlake Ecology Park. It can enjoy the panoramic views of river, lake and city in sky lobby on 47th floor. 203 warm and comfortable rooms and suites with 3 restaurants and bar, as well as fitness center and swimming pool. Over 716 sqm meeting and conference space, which could be for all kinds of banquets, conferences and events. We strive to create an rewarding experience for you, leaving unforgettable memories here.

"Facilities: The hotel's concierge desk is on the ground floor, while the lobby is on the 47th floor. To get to your room, you first take an elevator from the ground floor to the 47th floor, then use your key card to transfer to another elevator that goes to the rooms. The toilet in the room was quite old-fashioned but thankfully clean! The curtains are electric, and the TV is pretty big, though I didn't try to cast anything to it. The sofa area is well-designed with a large round table and a sofa that has power outlets nearby, making it convenient for charging phones and laptops while relaxing. The bedside tables are also spacious, great for placing items. The air conditioning was powerful and effective. The mini-bar fridge was empty, and only two bottles of mineral water were provided. The washbasin was small. They only provided two toothbrushes, a comb, and some cotton swabs. No razor, which is fine, but not even a shower cap – I wonder if it was just overlooked! Service: When I first arrived, it was a bit frustrating; there was no service at all, and I had to ask about everything myself! At the front desk for check-in, the staff said my name wasn't on any order. They asked to see my Ctrip order on my phone, which was a first for me! I didn't encounter a single staff member who greeted me; they just acted like guests were invisible! I even bumped into a young staff member outside my room who just glanced at me twice and acted like she didn't see me. This is supposed to be a five-star hotel, but their service training in this regard is clearly lacking, especially for young employees who should have this basic awareness! Later that evening, when I went to the concierge to pick up a delivery, Xiao Jie was very helpful. He assisted me with my packages, gave me a tote bag for my items, and even offered to dispose of my trash. Environment: Getting food delivered is easy, pretty much anything is available, and there are also restaurants downstairs, which is convenient! Deliveries are brought by robots, but you have to call the concierge separately to request the robot delivery, likely for security reasons. The critical part was that my delivery arrived at 7:27 PM, and after two follow-up calls, it finally reached my room at 7:50 PM – unbelievable! Parking: I pre-arranged and reserved a ground-level parking spot. It was very crowded, so if you have a large car, it will test your driving skills!"

Fairmont Xiamen is a 33-floors of "mountain-shaped" building nestled in the heart of Xiamen's urban.

"1. The Grand Ocean View King Room was quite small, even after the butler supposedly tried their best to arrange a corner room for us (which I do appreciate). The design of the bathroom door in the room was extremely inconvenient; it wasn't magnetic, so every time it closed, it made a super loud, startling noise. 2. The afternoon tea and happy hour were not as good as other similarly priced hotels, and the same goes for breakfast. While there was a decent variety, I personally found the taste unappetizing. Even the lattes and cappuccinos didn't have any latte art. 🙂↔️ 3. The gym and pool were great! The equipment was comprehensive and new, definitely the most satisfying part of my stay. 4. Regarding service, a day before check-in, I received a call saying I had an exclusive butler, and we connected on WeChat. At the time, I had a good impression, but after connecting, the butler didn't proactively contact me again. Only after I asked specific questions, including spa times and prices, did I get a response. However, the spa prices were completely incorrect and outdated! I was only told they had sent the wrong information after I arrived at the hotel... Information replies were also not timely. When asked if I needed a late checkout, I replied that I might need an extra half hour, but it took nearly three hours for them to respond, by which time I had already checked out... The butler was most enthusiastic when asking me to give a five-star review, which really left a bad impression. Additionally, while waiting for our car before leaving, we bought two small cakes as gifts at the first-floor plaza. The staff member was clearly inexperienced; her packaging and cashiering were very slow, and even though we were the only customers, she still made us wait quite a while. Overall, this is a hotel with new facilities, and you can tell the staff try their best to provide attentive service. However, for this price point, the execution of details was indeed unsatisfactory. I generally don't like writing reviews, but given that the butler kept emphasizing that it would affect her performance and asked me to copy-paste a five-star review, I honestly couldn't do it against my conscience. I could only tell her I would write based on my true feelings, hoping the team will improve. (Didn't take many photos, so please bear with it.)"

Hotels in Changle,Fuzhou
"On our road trip through Fuzhou, this Four Points by Sheraton was, overall, quite satisfying. The room was impeccably clean, and the bedding was dry and soft. The soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear any outside noise. What really pleasantly surprised me was the 24-hour self-service laundry room, which is incredibly convenient for those of us who have been on the road for several days. As for the price, 600 RMB including double breakfast, I think the value for money is exceptional. Just a small suggestion: it would be even better if the underground parking lot could be opened sooner, as parking can get a bit tight during peak dining hours at the adjacent restaurant."

"I've stayed at a Marco Polo hotel before in Beijing and had a great experience, so I chose to stay at this one in Xiamen. It's an established five-star hotel with an excellent location. The room, although a little dated, was very clean and comfortable. The front desk, greeters, and housekeeping staff were all incredibly polite. Overall, the environment and service were superb. While a few individual staff members could use some improvement (I won't name names, it's not important and didn't affect the overall stay), I'm still giving it a five-star rating. This place is definitely worth considering when visiting Xiamen!"

"Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel Stay: A Truly Deserving Five-Star with Impeccable Service This trip to Fuzhou, I specifically compared two five-star hotels: Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel and Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou. After staying at Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel, my previous disappointment with the Shangri-La vanished. As a well-established state guesthouse boasting West Lake views, its facilities, amenities, and service fully live up to five-star standards. The overall experience was significantly more comfortable. I. Hotel Environment and Location: Rich Lakeside Heritage The hotel is situated right by West Lake. The grand entrance features a pair of white elephant sculptures, stately and imposing. The entire glass-curtained building directly faces the West Lake. Upon entering, the lobby displays a calligraphy plaque reading 'First Building of Lake and Mountain Scenery,' creating a strong Chinese traditional atmosphere. The location is its biggest advantage. Stepping out, you're immediately on the West Lake walking path, perfect for an evening stroll or a morning jog. It's only a ten-minute drive from Sanfang Qixiang, making sightseeing very convenient. It's a peaceful oasis in a bustling area, without the noise typically found in city hotels. II. Guest Room: New Chinese Luxury, Spacious with Top-Notch Amenities The guest rooms feature a modernized New Chinese style, with dark wood finishes paired with ink-wash orchid paintings, creating a calm and elegant color scheme. The room is very spacious, avoiding any cramped feeling. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the city's buildings, and you can even catch the sunset in the evening. The bedding is soft and thick, complemented by two sets of pillows, ensuring a great night's sleep. A curved leisure sofa is tucked in the corner, and the desk is large, perfectly adequate for business travelers. The minibar thoughtfully includes seasonal fruits. The independent bathroom is fully tiled with marble and features both a bathtub and a separate shower, ensuring clear wet and dry zones. The mirrored vanity cabinet provides ample storage, the bathroom lighting is soft, and the toiletries are comprehensive. There are no flaws to be found in the hardware configuration. III. Value-Added Features: Humanized Service Beyond Competitors at the Same Price Point 1. Smart Robot Delivery Service There's a guide card on the guest room desk for robot delivery. Food delivery, packages, drinking water, and toiletries can all be called to your room directly via a QR code, eliminating the need to go downstairs to pick them up. Compared to the Shangri-La, where deliveries could only be left in a locker outside, this convenience is a huge difference and extremely friendly for business travelers or guests with luggage. 2. Exclusive Lakeside Running Amenities The hotel offers custom-made running shoes printed with a map of West Lake attractions, available for free rental or purchase. Given its proximity to the lakeside boardwalk, the hotel specifically caters to active guests with running shoes and related services. This unique feature is greatly appreciated by running enthusiasts. IV. Dining Experience The buffet dinner offers a rich variety, with clear sections for hot pot, seafood, local specialties, desserts, and fresh fruits. The ingredients are fresh, and replenishment is prompt. There's a diverse selection of fruits and drinks, and the hot dishes cater to both local and general tastes. The dining area is quiet and clean, and staff proactively clear plates and refill water. The overall quality is consistent. Breakfast offers a comprehensive spread, including local Fuzhou snacks like fish balls and peanut soup, as well as Western pastries, freshly ground coffee, and a whole grain station. Compared to the ordinary breakfast at the Shangri-La, the variety and sophistication here are a cut above. V. Overall Summary Advantages 1. Excellent location, right by West Lake, quiet environment, and superb views. 2. Spacious rooms with a stylish New Chinese decor, and comprehensive bathroom amenities. 3. Humanized special features like smart delivery robots and free running shoes, addressing essential travel needs. 4. High-quality dining, rich local specialties, meeting five-star hotel standards. 5. The well-trained staff of an established state guesthouse provide prompt service. Minor Drawbacks The hotel building is older, so some public area elevators are a bit slow. During peak hours, check-in might involve a short wait; it's recommended to avoid peak times. Overall, for the same budget, Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel's hardware, convenient services, and dining standards are far superior to other five-star hotels in the city. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers to Fuzhou."

The room had a large bed and a small bed, which was enough for our family of five (2 adults and 3 children). The environment was elegant and the soundproofing was good. There was also a mini-fridge in the room, perfect for storing fruits and drinks. The kids loved the pool downstairs. The only downside was the TV; it wasn't connected to the internet, so we couldn't choose what we wanted to watch. The hotel's location is excellent, with many attractions nearby, making it convenient for shopping and dining!

This isn't my first time staying here, and I really love it; the experience is consistently great. The breakfast selection changes a bit daily, always featuring authentic Southern Fujian specialties. There's a wide variety and the food tastes excellent. The room is also very dorm-like, quiet, and the bed is fantastic, leading to naturally high-quality sleep. The only minor downside is that the pool isn't very big, but the water quality is excellent. Also, our butler, Merry, took great care of us. For example, she'd ask what we wanted refilled in the minibar and prepared turn-down service nightly before we came back (which included a pre-sleep dessert, a floor mat next to the bed, and indoor slippers).

This hotel is simply perfect! The room was huge, and the cleaning staff tidied up every day. Every evening, they'd bring sweet soups like tremella or red bean, along with fruit, right to our room. The restaurant on the 22nd floor was also great; we could leisurely enjoy breakfast there before heading out. There's a gym and a pool on the 6th floor. Speaking of which, I almost gave a bad review. When I chose this hotel, it was specifically because of their swimming pool. However, when I got there, I found out that during the Chinese New Year period, the pool hours were only from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This is exactly when we were out and about! How could anyone use the pool then? I was so annoyed. But, considering their excellent service, I let it go and still gave a full five stars. I also want to give a special shout-out to ”Huihui” at the front desk. We accidentally left something in the hotel fridge and only realized it after we'd checked out. Huihui very enthusiastically helped us find it and even mailed it to us. We're so grateful! All in all, this is a hotel with complete facilities, thoughtful service, and a warm, lovely atmosphere. It's the kind of cozy place that made us look forward to coming back to rest every day after a tiring day of sightseeing.

Initially, I thought it was just an average hotel, nothing spectacular. However, the service truly stood out and made me feel right at home. Check-in was fast and efficient. When they heard we were tourists, they proactively offered recommendations for nearby attractions. After completing the check-in process, the front desk manager personally escorted us to the guest room elevators, which made us feel incredibly welcome. Upon entering the room, there was a plate of welcome fruit on the table. Taking a bite, it was sweet to the taste and warmed my heart. When I requested a few extra bottles of water, a robot promptly delivered them. Throughout the hallways, lobby, and restaurant, the staff consistently greeted us with smiles. Before check-out, Ms. He at the front desk kindly asked if our stay was satisfactory and offered us several bottles of mineral water, suggesting we take them for our journey due to the hot weather. You could truly feel their genuine care. From check-in to check-out, I consistently experienced the warmth of the staff. Although I hadn't heard of this hotel before, after staying here, I genuinely felt that staying at a Junlan Hotel gives you a wonderful sense of home!

The most important thing when traveling to Xiamen is choosing a good hotel. I saw this one recommended on Xiaohongshu for its great Nanyang-style, so I booked a night to try it out. To my surprise, everything from check-in to check-out was a delight! The front desk even gave me a free room upgrade, and the butler service was excellent. The whole hotel smelled wonderful and wasn't noisy at all. The cleanliness was also top-notch. I'll definitely be back next time. Plus, it's super convenient with MixC Mall right downstairs!

This hotel is conveniently located near the airport and offers pick-up and drop-off services. They even provide shuttle services to and from concert venues, which is a big plus! The room was spacious and well-lit, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. It would be great if the TV supported screen mirroring. After the concert, there were a lot of food delivery orders, and when the robots couldn't keep up, the front desk staff and security guards helped deliver them. I really appreciate their help!

From the moment we booked the room, a dedicated butler group was created for us. They bought our round-trip ferry tickets, and upon disembarking, a butler was waiting at the pier to help with our luggage—we didn't have to carry anything ourselves. Our butler, Isak, was incredibly thoughtful. He not only planned a route to Gulangyu Island that avoided the crowds, but also went out to buy me medicine when he knew I wasn't feeling well. This friend-like care was so heartwarming. The room's details were impeccable: Aesop toiletries, a Wenxian turndown fragrance, a handwritten welcome note, a complimentary minibar, and even a different set of Gulangyu poems on gold-flecked paper by the bedside each day. The turndown service drew the curtains, lit the aromatherapy, and even prepared a meditation chair—truly taking ”natural healing” to the extreme.
