Hotels With breakfast in Phu Tho Province, Vietnam

"The hotel pretty much lives up to its description. The room was good and clean: crisp bed linen, towels, and toiletries – all up to standard. The breakfast was very good for Vietnam, with a buffet that offered a good variety. We also had lunch at the same restaurant and really enjoyed the green salad and pumpkin soup. However, the chicken and corn soup was a bit unusual and not to our taste, but that's subjective. The pool is large and offers a view of the castle (on a clear day). There are a few quirks though: the pool is on one floor, while the spa area, saunas, and fitness center are on another. For some reason, the spa, saunas, and fitness center weren't operating, which was a shame because we would have happily used them on the second day when the weather was bad. There were also some minor issues with the pool area. The lockers in the changing rooms don't have keys, and you only get towels if you pay a cash deposit. This system seemed a bit odd, as usually you leave your room key as a deposit. We found a workaround by going down to the pool in our bathrobes and using towels from our room. But this was also inconvenient because of the high humidity in the city; things don't dry well, so the towels ended up staying wet. In our opinion, the hotel should separate the guest flows: for staying guests, a card deposit for towels, and for non-staying visitors, a separate payment or membership. The front desk staff were very responsive and always helped quickly. We had trouble booking a Grab taxi from Tam Dao to the airport – no cars were available. A staff member at reception quickly helped us solve the issue, and within 10 minutes, we were on our way to the airport. We really liked the hotel and would love to return, as the weather didn't allow us to visit all the places we had planned."

"Location: Situated by the Tuojiang River, not directly riverside, but generally quiet surroundings. Cleanliness: Clean and hygienic, on par with Tru hotels in Hanoi city center. Service: The front desk is on the 4th floor; after check-in, it's mostly self-service. Facilities: Very new, especially for a small town like Heping."

"Mandala Kim Bôi offers a very happy and relaxing experience. The mineral pool is definitely worth it, especially the mineral bathtub on the balcony, which is a really unique and enjoyable feature—soaking while enjoying the view is truly relaxing. The staff are friendly, cheerful, and welcoming, making the stay even more pleasant. The spa services are well-provided, with a calm atmosphere and professional treatments that help you unwind completely. Overall, it’s a great destination for relaxation, stress relief, and wellness, and definitely a place worth visiting again."

"Front desk was helpful. Language barrier was a concern with limited english that the staffs could speak but they were overall friendly and helpful. Perhaps can improve on the room service menu as alot of items were not available during my period of stay. Cheers!"

"I specifically went to do some paddleboarding on the lake as the photos showed lots of paddle boards and kayaks. They only had one paddle board that was so old I was worried it might deflate in the middle of the lake. I didn't realise you have to pay for the kayak hire and a staff member has to either go with you or wait for you on the dock so my dreams of exploring the lake were dashed. There isn't much else to do there and it was difficult communicating with the staff (than God for Google translate!) so I couldn't organise anything. Beautiful spot though if you just want to eat and relax."

"This is the best romantic hotel ever! everything was amazing the decor, the rooms, the staff, the food, the location, the parking garage, they really did a top quality job for us and we will be back!"

"It's a new building, so it's clean and nice to use, but the breakfast is very poor, so please take note when using it, and cleaning is always done without fail."

"very neat, clean, efficient and minimalistic room design. i love the futuristic vibe! great lightning all over with smart design. every minute spent at Tru by Sojo was worth it. good view from a big window, cable TV, mini bar, cleaning room (50k VND per use), gym. i just love how efficient the hotel room is, chef’s kiss! decent breakfast for the price. just pho and the basic american breakfast. staffs are decent, relatively young. they have interesting books in the lobby, too. recommended, fairly high price nevertheless."

"Overall, it's pretty good. The room is spacious, but there's some mold on the sealant around the sink. I hope the hotel can address this. Aside from that, it was a good stay."
