"Nice big rooms and very good breakfast, location is convenient - around 10mins walk to Registan and Gur Emir. But the rest was not meeting expectations given the high price.
The spa has good facilities but is not operated properly - I had reserved in advance but when I was let in the sauna and hammam was only just turned on so nowhere near proper temperature even by the time my hour ended. Also there was no towel in there (was told there would be). The jacuzzi was connected to the pool so the entire area was cold water, with the pool water level too high - I think they were supposed to be filled separately and not kept at fully filled level.
There were some drain flies in my bathroom so cleanliness also needs to be addressed."

"The staff were incredibly friendly, making my stay very pleasant. The breakfast had a great variety of options, which was a plus. Having a mini-market right in front of the hotel was super convenient for quick purchases. It's also close to all the main tourist spots, which is handy. Even though it's on a narrow street, taxis can still get through, so that wasn't an issue.
The only minor point was that the shower water pressure was sometimes low, and at other times it was too hot, but it was still usable, so I have no real complaints."

"Stayed at Mustafa Hotel in Samarkanda. The hotel opened only this year everything is absolutely new, fresh and works perfectly. I liked everything very much.
What I would like to note separately:
1. The hotel itself is very beautiful and modern. The interior is designed to the small stylish, with taste, feels like they have put a soul. It's nice to be in the hall, in the rooms, in the common zones. Not just the ”table” cleanliness, but really beautiful design.
2. Excellent pool. Big plus for Samarkanda after a long day of heat walks it is very nice to swim. The pool is clean, tidy, with a comfortable rest area around.
3. Everything new. Since the hotel opened this year, there are no weared furniture, no rubbish coatings, no pipes with paddles. Everything works like clocks. It's a huge plus that overlaps many other moments.
4. The hotel is modern but cozy. Not a huge, faceless ”concrete box,” but a neat, thoughtful option for comfortable rest.
In general, if you want to stay in a really new, beautiful hotel with a great swimming pool and stylish interior Mustafa Hotel, a great choice. I stayed very pleased."

"I didn't take pic of the room as it is basic but spacious enough. The hotel is strategically located in between various sightseeing sites. For travellers who opt for tram and bus, you choose the right location because opposite the hotel just accross the road, there is a tramvay stop and bus stop. Tramvay goes to and for the main train station if you are departing for Tashkent or Bukhara. While bus goes around the city. Take bus 22 to go around the city area such as Registan centre. Take bus 31 to and for airport. Really convenient, affordable, and I highly recommend it."

"The hotel isn't bad, it's clean inside, and they even provide toiletries like a razor. However, breakfast is a real disaster (the fried eggs were cold, meaning they were just sitting there ready and not warmed up, the buffet was meager, and they used the cheapest products – the cheapest bad cheese, bad sausage). Plus, the cottage cheese was spoiled, and the coffee was sour. When I needed water, an employee poured it into my glass from a 0.5L bottle. Breakfast: 0/10. I wouldn't choose this hotel a second time."

The staff were polite and attentive; you feel their welcoming attitude towards guests from the very first moment. The room was clean and cozy, with everything you need.
I especially want to highlight the very convenient location of the hotel, making it easy to get to the city's main attractions.
A big plus is the sauna and swimming pool. After walking around the city, it was especially nice to relax in the hotel's spa area in the evening. This added even more comfort to my vacation.

"We set a triple room, the room is very clean, the decoration is very special, the service is very warm, the breakfast is very rich, you can store your luggage, when you leave the store, you also help us arrange a free delivery to the train station, and send a special gift to the store, and also intimately take a photo with us! Guest UserThis stay was absolutely fantastic! I made a mistake with my booking, but the hotel staff were incredibly patient and helped me sort everything out. They were all super friendly, helped with our luggage, and provided exceptional service. The entire hotel was spotless and very comfortable. We woke up a bit late and worried we'd miss breakfast, but it turned out the hotel offered à la carte Western breakfast and freshly ground coffee, which tasted great, and the service was really thoughtful. The location is also super convenient, very close to the train station, making getting around a breeze. I chose this place specifically because I didn't want to stay near the necropolis area; it's about 5km from the attractions, and getting a taxi was very easy. Throughout my stay, I really felt the warmth and hospitality of the people of Uzbekistan. My accommodation experience was perfect, I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

The location was good and the hotel was clean. Overall, I would recommend it.
The staff were kind and helpful. When I arrived at the hotel with a same-day reservation, they seemed to have prepared a larger room than expected, allowing me to relax comfortably.
There is no elevator, but this is a common building structure in Uzbekistan, so it wasn't a problem.
The breakfast was sufficient considering it was included in the room rate.
There is a currency exchange machine in the hotel, so you don't have to worry if you're short on cash.
Finally, be careful with the bathroom facilities in the room.

Monika_bThis is a good hotel. We stayed at the Hilton before this, and this hotel is no different in terms of quality. It's clean, and the housekeeping is daily, with excellent staff. The downside (we stayed in March 2026) is that there's absolutely nothing nearby. The fountains weren't working, and neither were the water park, amusement park, or shopping center! In the summer, during peak season, it would probably be wonderful here! But not at any other time of year!

Guest UserThe hotel itself is nice. It’s in a quiet location with decent facilities. However,our room is just fair size.The breakfast was healthy with good variety, and the staff (especially the young lady serving) spoke excellent English. We enjoyed our 3-night stay until checkout.
When we asked for the required proof of accommodation to leave the country, the staff told us there was a customs registration issue on our entry (which I later confirmed was false). Despite them pretending to try and fix it, we left empty-handed. Because of this delay, we missed our pre-booked coach to Bukhara and lost UZS 585,000 in total (UZS 195,000 per ticket for three people).
Every other hotel we stayed at in Tashkent and Bukhara provided the E-Mehmon registration without delay. I really don't understand why this hotel makes a routine procedure such a huge technical problem. It was their mistake which caused our financial and time loss.

Somewhere On EarthThe location is unbeatable, you will find yourself in the pedestrianised area connecting all the main historical attractions. However, the entrance is obstructed by the outside seating area of the restaurant next door(which has good food). You have to awkwardly make your way through the bbq smoke and diners in the evenings. The rooms are compact but sufficient and the air conditioning is good. However, the blinds barely do anything so it’s too bright in the early morning. Also, there was only cold water and colder water in the shower. There was a steady stream of dying ants making their way into my room each day, which was not ideal.

GuluxixiI highly recommend this hotel! I was torn between two Hilton properties, but I'm so glad I chose this one. It's incredibly convenient – a taxi ride anywhere only costs 10-20 som. Since I couldn't use ride-sharing apps due to my registration, the front desk helped me call taxis every day. A special thanks to Ismigul and Amin, who spoke perfect English and were incredibly helpful, calling countless taxis for me daily 🚗. For anyone visiting Samarkand, don't hesitate to pick this hotel.
The breakfast was also excellent, with make-your-own waffles that my son devoured every morning.
They even gave me a discount on my massage.
Overall, this hotel made our trip complete.

Guest UserAfter a few rough nights at a Soviet hotel, words can’t describe how happy I was to see this hotel. The male receptionist was very welcoming when I arrived as he let me check in a bit earlier after a train ride. The breakfast fulfilled my needs as they have fresh fruits, vegetables, yoghurt, eggs, coffee… no complaint. The guy working at the breakfast area was also very helpful. After I finished gym, I went up there. He immediately asked me if I needed water. It shows that he’s attentive. I felt happy staying there. The reason I booked it was the gym. As an active person, I need to work out on my travels. The gym is not fully equipped but it provides with the basics such as a treadmill, a bike and weights. Location wise, it’s not in the center of the tourist spot but it’s walking distance. It took me 15 min to get to Registan. Don’t worry though as Samarkand is pedestrian friendly.

Location: literally 30 seconds away from the pedestrian walking street. Registan is just 10 mins away.
Breakfast: it's not a buffet and you can't choose, but they cook you 2 home-made dishes (they differ every morning): could be pancakes with jam and fruits + another dish with meat.
Staff: nice people, will help with anything they can.
People from all over the world stay there: always nice to chat.
👀 What to watch out for:
Rooms are quite old, and the carpet on the floor wasn't really clean, so I couldn't do my regular stretches.
Towels smelled of mustiness (I guess bc they don't have a dryer).
Rooms windows face the inside yard, so it's always way too dark in the rooms.
No water bottles / tea / coffee provided in the room, no kettle, fridge, safe box in the room
There isn't really a typical hostel / hotel common space to comfortably sit and chat - only this inside yard, but not sofas or room to play board games or comfortably sit.
