"The hotel could be much better if they improved their service! Overall, it's pleasant with a nice design. Let's start with the pros: + Great location, with a bank nearby for currency exchange, a coffee shop across the street, two decent fast-food places, and a small supermarket next to the hotel selling nuts, dried fruits by weight, and tea (prices are generally like a market). Tourist attractions are only 100 rubles and about 5-7 minutes away by taxi. + Good breakfast with a wide selection, almost everything you could want, and tasty. + The room was clean. I can't comment on regular cleaning as I requested it at reception for a specific time, and they accommodated me. + The indoor/outdoor pool is clean, and there's nobody there in the morning. Cons: - After 12 PM, the pool gets crowded. Local guys were smoking right on the sun loungers, and no staff member said anything to them. - Upon check-in, the administrator gave me a room that didn't match my booking. I booked an upgraded room, but I was given a 'budget economy' room on the first floor with a view of a concrete wall and absolutely no natural light! (Photos attached). The administrator refused to give me another room for free, claiming they had no rooms. However, after I contacted Trip.com support, he miraculously found another room category for me without any extra charge! A woman before me had the same situation, so it seems they try to scam guests by initially giving them a bad room and then charging extra to upgrade to the one they should have had in the first place. It was a bit stressful, but the issue was resolved in the end. - The shower barely worked; you could only wash under the tap as there was absolutely no water pressure in the showerhead. - The air conditioning only worked on maximum power; it didn't work at all or would switch off on the lowest setting, which was inconvenient. Hotel management needs to control staff who are ruining the hotel's reputation by assigning rooms that don't match bookings, thus spoiling the mood of guests who paid to relax! I also recommend partial renovation or replacement of the plumbing. The hotel looks solid from the outside, but there are clear management shortcomings internally. Fix these issues, and it will significantly improve occupancy and the number of positive reviews! It's all in your hands! I've also included photos of the room I eventually received after the dispute."

Grab a bite from the snack bar/deli, or stay in and take advantage of the hotel's 24-hour room service. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and satellite programming is available for your entertainment. Conveniences include safes and desks, as well as phones with free local calls.

"Hotel Iman is located about 500 meters from the Four Towers Mosque and is also very close to the main attractions in the old town, with easy access by taxi. A line of tour buses is often parked outside, which seems to be a drop-off point for tourists since vehicles are prohibited in parts of the old town. The room is a bit small, but the facilities are complete and it's reasonably clean. The breakfast is delicious and quite extensive, giving it a true backpacker hostel vibe. The guy at the front desk was very friendly, but being an older building, the toilet flushing was a bit sluggish."

Nestled in Bukhara's Old Town, Mercure Bukhara Hotel is surrounded by UNESCO-listed landmarks that inspired its architects to blend tradition with elegance using natural wood and handcrafted ceramics. The hotel features a stunning XVI-century-style hammam with a serene pool, a state-of-the-art gym, a well-equipped conference hall for 50 guests, and a refined restaurant with exquisite cuisine-alongside a vibrant bar that constantly delights and surprises.

"The hotel is located north of Bukhara's Old City, with most attractions within walking distance. The Saffron Restaurant on the 3rd floor serves excellent food, especially the fried eggplant. However, the spa service was absolutely unacceptable. The therapist had an awful attitude and poor technique. Anytime we moved or were too tense during the massage, she would reprimand us with incredibly exaggerated, disgusted exclamations, completely ruining our day. On top of that, it didn't even provide the relaxation we sought. What's more, the time spent changing clothes was counted towards the massage duration, which would never happen in China. After writing a two-page complaint letter, the hotel offered a fruit platter as compensation and provided a written response stating that ”other guests in our tour group” were satisfied, implying the problem was ours. Yet, we were independent travelers who checked in alone, so the mention of a tour group was completely fabricated. Naturally, this was unacceptable. After a 30-minute standoff at the front desk, the final solution was a 30% discount, but then the fruit platter was withdrawn. As an incredibly arrogant hotel, I do not recommend staying here. They didn't even replenish toothpaste during daily cleanings. However, the rooftop restaurant is still recommended, with an average cost of around 200 CNY per person."

"Excellent stay experience. Jasmine Gevinch, the lovely lady at the front desk, helped me switch to a higher floor. Knowing I was traveling alone, she specially recommended the CHINOR restaurant, which is a local favorite with great value for money. When she learned about my habit of drinking a lot of water due to the hot weather, she had the staff send up 4 extra bottles of mineral water. Thumbs up for the attention to detail! Although the hotel is within walking distance of the old city, it's dustier because you pass by a construction site, so taking a taxi is more convenient. When using Yandex taxi, you need to set the pickup location to the hotel lobby level; otherwise, the car will automatically stop in the parking lot below. Joxongir, the concierge at the entrance, was super nice. He helped me carry my luggage from the front desk to the entrance and waited until my taxi arrived and the luggage was loaded before leaving. Despite the hot weather outside, he stayed to confirm the destination (the train station) with me and the driver before departing."

"Munis Boutique Hotel is ideally located in the very heart of ancient Bukhara, directly across from the historic Nodir Devon-Begi Madrasah. We are just a few steps away from the famous Lyabi-Hovuz complex, putting you at the center of the city's vibrant cultural life. Our hotel features comfortable rooms designed with a touch of local elegance, ensuring a peaceful stay after exploring the nearby Silk Road landmarks. Enjoy authentic hospitality and unbeatable proximity to Bukhara's most iconic sights."

"The location is excellent, right by the Labi Hovuz pool. The area around it is very lively with many restaurants, and it's convenient to walk to the Trading Domes where there are lots of shopping opportunities. The staff are friendly, and there was even a very cute young boy who helped us with our luggage. You can't expect too much from the facilities given the old town's architecture; the room is a bit small. Personally, I'd suggest adding a shower curtain to the bathroom to prevent water from splashing onto the floor."

For around $20 a night, the condition of the hotel made it excellent value for money. All the main tourist attractions are within a 10-15 minute walk. "The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk to all the main attractions. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. Because it's set back a bit from the main street, it's very quiet at night. Since it's still relatively new, the interior is clean and well-maintained. Bathrobes were provided. The staff were very kind and helpful; they offered me cold water at reception when I came back in from the heat and even set up my next destination on Yandex Go for me. The breakfast had more than enough food. On my last day, as I was getting into the taxi, a staff member came out from reception, waved, and saw me off."

"The location isn't ideal. It's too far to walk to the Old City, so Yandex is a must. Also, on Yandex, the hotel is listed as ”Eurasia Business.” When we were coming from Bukhara Station, there was some confusion with the Yandex driver because we weren't sure if ”Eurasia Business” was the official name according to Trip.com. We even had to ask the driver to call the hotel to confirm. However, upon arrival, the hotel looked just like the pictures, with a very clean and beautiful lobby and rooms. The room itself was not only charming but also clean and spacious – so much so that I wished I could stay there longer. It was a bit disappointing that breakfast only started at 9 AM, but the content was standard, and instant coffee was available. It had been a while since I had coffee, and I thoroughly enjoyed it."

AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI decided to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had a swimming pool and was great value for money. Getting to Dunyo Palace was very easy on public transport as I caught bus no 33 from the centre of Bukhara straight to the outside of the hotel. It was easy. I have stayed at Dunyo palace before and I had a great stay. My room was bigger than expected with a fridge, air conditioning and a kettle. I was greeted by the nice reception lady she was very helpful. I had breakfast and it was a buffet with a large selection of Uzbekistan breakfast foods. An omelette was freshly prepared for me in the mornings. The hotel pool was really nice to swim in after a long day walking around sight seeing in Bukhara. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will stay again in the future. The images I share are of the room I stayed in on my departure, the air conditioning, and the bathroom area. I’ve also added the places I visited while staying there. I have already added a lot of images to my last feedback if you want to check it out.

NNari.I recently had the pleasure of staying at Boutique Old City, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Perfectly located in the heart of the old town, the hotel offers convenient access to major historical attractions, local restaurants, and vibrant الأسواق, all within walking distance. This made it incredibly easy to explore the cultural charm of the city without needing transportation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the team went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed. They were always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, and even small personal requests, which added a thoughtful touch to the overall experience. The room itself was beautifully designed, blending traditional aesthetics with modern comfort. It was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with attention to detail in both décor and amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after long days of sightseeing. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite the central location, which can often be a challenge in busy areas. One of the standout features of Boutique Old City is its charming courtyard. It provides a peaceful space to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and soak in the historical ambiance. In the mornings, breakfast was served with a variety of local and international options. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start the day. Another aspect worth mentioning is the hotel’s authenticity. Unlike larger chain hotels, Boutique Old City offers a more intimate and culturally immersive experience. The architecture and interior design reflect the heritage of the region, allowing guests to feel more connected to the destination. Overall, my stay at Boutique Old City exceeded expectations. It combines excellent location, friendly service, and comfortable accommodation in a way that truly enhances the travel experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay in the old city.

GGuest UserI had to wait a long time to check in when I arrived, possibly because I booked that same evening and the hotel hadn't updated the order yet. I had booked a city view room, but was told the hotel's order was for a courtyard view, and that city view rooms were no longer available. The hotel offered to let me switch rooms the next day, but I decided against it as I didn't want to go through the hassle again. Later, the owner waived the laundry service fee for me. The next day, they asked for my passport again, saying they forgot to register it during check-in the day before. It really made me wonder what the front desk staff was doing during check-in that night. The owner, however, was quite polite and had a good attitude. The courtyard view room lacked privacy; I had to keep the curtains drawn all the time, which made it feel a bit claustrophobic. The room itself was mostly fine, but the bathroom's exhaust fan might be too close to the kitchen's range hood exhaust, as I could smell cooking fumes from breakfast in the bathroom in the mornings. Breakfast was just so-so. It started at 8 AM, and by a little after 9 AM, some dishes were almost gone. For example, there were only two fried eggs left, perhaps they weren't refilled promptly. While breakfast was filling, the variety and taste weren't as good as breakfasts at similarly priced hotels in China, so don't set your expectations too high. The figs, though, were good and sweet. Overall, it felt more like a guesthouse. If you're looking for more professional service and more facilities, a chain hotel would be a better fit. But if you're looking for value for money, it's sufficient for a quick stopover.

LL.C123The staff were friendly, and the rooms were fairly clean, but no slippers or conditioner were provided. The hotel is located in the old town, a 15-minute walk from attractions and slightly closer to good restaurants. Be aware that the roads are quite narrow with many turns and a lot of traffic, so drivers may need time to find their way; it is recommended to walk out a bit or hail a taxi from the main street.

XXiaolonThere are some low-rated posts, but it was a very good impression hotel without any trouble when I used it for two nights in 2026/10/4-6 and three family members on a trip. Breakfast is also delicious. It is a little far from the old town, but it is a location that is completely fine as a walk after meals because it is about 500 meters. There were many hotels in the old town, but this hotel is quite recommended if you want to spend a quiet night slowly because people gather around 〜 night. I think it is good to use it when coming to Bukhara.

GGuest UserKhujra Studios offers excellent accommodation with a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. Both the rooms and common areas are impeccably clean and tidy, making my stay very pleasant. The owner is incredibly warm and hospitable, providing attentive service during check-in and always willing to help when needed. It felt just like staying in a local's home. In terms of location, it's not far from Bukhara's main attractions, making it convenient for walking or short rides. Another thing I really liked is that it's a standalone house. Compared to typical hotel rooms, you're not bothered by noise from neighboring rooms like conversations or doors opening and closing, ensuring great privacy and quietness. Overall, if you appreciate cleanliness, quietness, a comfortable environment, and want to experience a more local atmosphere, Khujra Studios is an excellent choice.

MMladenowskiWe enjoyed a brief, one-night stay at this charming hotel, and it left a positive impression. The room was spotless and well-maintained, offering comfort and a cozy atmosphere. Its location was truly unbeatable—just a few steps from the main square in the heart of the old city, making it the perfect base for exploring the historical sights and vibrant local culture. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure our stay was smooth. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who graciously covered our taxi fare when I didn’t have smaller banknotes on hand—an unexpected gesture that truly reflected the hotel's commitment to hospitality. Breakfast was modest but satisfactory, offering a simple continental selection that provided an easy, light start to the day. While it wasn’t particularly remarkable, it served its purpose for a short stay. Overall, our time at the hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The combination of its prime location, clean accommodations, and attentive service made for an enjoyable experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for travelers seeking convenience and a warm welcome in the city’s historic center. PS please put tea bags in original covers and add coffee into drinks selection.
