A night at Engine Campsite is what every budget traveler secretly hopes for but rarely finds. It’s simple, affordable, and somehow feels like a five-star stay — just without walls, Wi-Fi passwords, or fake luxury. Instead, you get something better: space, silence, and a sky so full of stars it feels unreal. Easily ten thousand of them, minimum.
We fell asleep to the sounds of nature and woke up surrounded by it. During our stay, a couple of elephants casually passed by, as if they were part of the welcome committee. No fences, no drama — just respectful distance and a reminder that this is their land first.
Food was a highlight. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all included, and every meal was fresh, filling, and genuinely delicious. The kind of food that tastes even better because you’ve spent the day outdoors. Nothing fancy, just honest cooking done right.
What really made the experience special was the staff. Warm, attentive, and incredibly kind, they took care of us in a way that felt natural, not forced. We were looked after from start to finish, with smiles, patience, and a real sense of pride in what they do.
Engine Campsite proves that you don’t need luxury to feel spoiled — just good people, good food, wild surroundings, and a sky that never sleeps.

KoalaAdminWe had fully prepaid our one-night stay (almost €500) through Trip.com five months before arrival.
At check-in, the hotel insisted that they had not received the payment, even though we showed our prepaid confirmation. I understand that issues between hotels and booking platforms can happen, but what was unacceptable was how the situation was handled.
We were left waiting in the lobby for about 30 minutes and were not allowed to check in or access our room until the payment issue was resolved. Eventually, we were forced to pay the full amount again, at a higher price than our original booking, simply because we had no other option. The duplicate payment was refunded a few days later after contacting Trip.com.
What was even more surprising was that the staff told us this happens regularly with certain booking platforms. If they already know about this issue, they should have a better procedure instead of making guests pay twice and treating them as if they were trying to avoid payment.
For a hotel in this price range, I expected a far more professional and customer-focused approach. The problem itself was unfortunate, but the way it was handled left a very poor impression.

Great pool. Rooms are spacious, good quality, clean. luxurious feeling. Rooms are situated aorund the pool which creates a lack of privacy.

The hotel stayed only one night but made up its opinion and it was good
Very beautiful design of the building, a large green area, it is visible that trees have been many years, pleasant to walk.
The rooms are very small and modest, only to stay
Breakfast is simple and modest, omlet, fruit, tea, coffee, no exquisite
good hotel for a night

It was hard to get to, once the car had to even push. But at the same time very good service, quiet place and beautiful view
