В сезон, когда везде большое кол-во туристов, подойдет для любителей тишины. Идеально для туристов с машиной. До Навшехира с кафешками, магазинами и маршрутками можно дойти пешком минут за 20-30. Брали номер с террасой- прекрасно для созерцания природы и отдыха. Бассейн с сауной пока мы пребывали в отеле несколько дней не работал. Само помещение достаточно маленькое и если там отдыхает семья или компания на несколько человек, то уже ими не воспользуешься, тк будет некомфортно. В остальном все прекрасно и гостеприимно)"

"We stayed at this hotel on our last night in Cappadocia. It offers excellent value for money. The room was large, new, very clean, and comfortable, giving a luxurious feel. There's a gym and a swimming pool. Although there aren't many restaurants right next door, if you turn left out of the hotel and walk past the gas station, there's a highly recommended barbecue place. For Turkey, the prices are low, and the food perfectly suited our Chinese palates. All in all, I would definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to Cappadocia. Getting to the hotel from the airport is very convenient; you can take the hotel's shuttle bus or a shared transfer van in Cappadocia – just tell them which hotel you're staying at, and they'll drop you off directly. It’s very convenient."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.. it's at ibrahimpasa, a quiet area outside of the main touristy areas of goreme and uchisar. We checked in easily, and we were immediately impressed by the rooms we booked (the deluxe cave suite with jacuzzi). We stayed in Room 404.
After the first night, we informed the reception that our jacuzzi wasn't working, and they upgraded our room to the imperial cave suite with jacuzzi and fireplace. It was lovely and we appreciated the kind gesture. They also helped us with luggage as we moved rooms (to Room 401), and it was all a seamless experience despite the mild inconvenience.
The rooms we stayed in were always warm even in winter, and we never found anything to be lacking. Just a note for light sleepers, Room 401 is along the stairs/walkway down to the lower levels, so if there guests who come back late at night and are loud, you will most definitely hear it!
Breakfast selection was simple but sufficient, with an espresso coffee machine I really appreciated after drinking Turkish coffee for a week!
A small note that the bathrooms often smelled a little bad, perhaps it's the sewage system. Not a big problem tho. It's barely noticeable.
We rented a car and drove, so getting in and out of town was never a problem. Parking is available at the hotel, and is free, if you drive!
The roads leading in to the hotel are a little narrow, so definitely not for non-confident drivers, but we found it ok.
I don't really have photos of the room to share but rest assured the photos provided by the hotel are real and accurate."

"Unlike Goreme, we were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay! The hotel is new and the interior design is lovely. We had a beautiful view of the hot air balloons from the terrace. The owner and all the staff were very kind! For breakfast, a female staff member prepared a fresh, warm, and delicious meal for us! Our flight was early on our last day, so we really appreciated that they prepared sandwiches for us!"

"Wow wow wow! The warm welcome by each member to the absolute stunning hill top view, it is beyond exceptional 5 star hotel! This unique cave hotel is like no other. Having comfortable beds, hot water bath, and a wonderful surprise to keep us warm are heated floors, we slept peacefully.
A traditional Turkey breakfast also surprised us. We don’t usually eat breakfast but once you try a bit of each dish we consumed it all (and may have asked for more). To the lovely gentleman who served us breakfast and proactively ensure our tea and coffee was filled, we adored his happy vibes, always smiling and easy to have a nice chat with. Thank you!

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful; every detail of the interior begged to be looked at and photographed. It felt like living in a medieval castle, holding the secret of the Illuminati. We booked a suite with a balcony access, which even had its own stone mushroom. In the morning, we were treated to a magnificent view of the hot air balloons! There's a very beautiful and interesting pool, along with a sauna and hammam. The dinnerware was lovely, and breakfast was delicious. They also have their own parking. The hotel is a little set back from the bustling main street, but it's a pleasant 15-minute walk along scenic paths to the central streets.
As for the downsides, our welcome wasn't very warm. We asked for recommendations on the best spots to watch the balloons, but it felt like the receptionist just wanted to get rid of us quickly. And the main drawback was the very poor room cleaning and the dirty pool. There was trash, dust, pill wrappers, and empty bottles lying around. Even after 'cleaning,' hair and grass were still on the floor."

GGuest UserReally loved the hotel's decor and ambiance; took tons of photos! The room was spacious, and it was super easy to get around. The front desk staff were great, very welcoming, and you could even chat with them on WeChat. We were early risers and headed to the restaurant before breakfast officially started, but the staff were very polite. The breakfast was delicious, especially the Chinese-style scrambled eggs. We stayed for two nights, and on our last day, we had an early flight, so we asked the hotel to pack breakfast for us. They thoughtfully prepared a burger, sandwich, fruit, and eggs – it was clear they put a lot of care into it.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the views from the rooms were amazing!
The breakfast was lavish and I looked forward to it every morning. The staff were very kind and always polite.
The mascot cat, Kuroneko, was also cute.
Uchisar is at a higher altitude than Goreme, so the views are generally beautiful and I personally recommend it. (It's not too far from the hot air balloon spot either.)
I'd love to stay here again if I come to Cappadocia!

GGuest UserOverall,I greatly enjoyed my time at the Rio Cappadocia Hotel. It is a very clean , new hotel with a modern cave feel. We had two rooms because I made two separate bookings. Both rooms were cozy and spacious, especially the second one(which was bigger in size). The rooms have beautiful carpets, the interior is simple yet attractive, and the beds were comfortable. The staff members greeted us warmly, and we were often provided with complimentary tea. The free breakfast was pretty good, including four different types of cheese, hardboiled and scrambled eggs, a few types of breads, olives,etc. Turkish tea and coffee are also provided. The hotel is conveniently located, and the room rates are reasonable.
The main issue I had was communication. Although there were no major problems, the following did not sit well with me.
Prior to traveling to Cappadocia, my initial question that I asked was what bus number to take to the hotel(upon arriving at the airport). The response was , ”For this we need to arrange a transfer for you. Give us your flight number, passport numbers, the number of people , and I will arrange it for you.” The staff member was talking about the pick up at the Gerome bus stop, and not the shuttle from the airport to the hotel.
This confused me. It became even more confusing when I was told we could get help with direct transportation from the airport to the hotel....and then the mentioning of a transfer pick up from the bus stop again. I simply wanted a direct, simple answer that provided an option for direct transport to the hotel. On top of that, the staff member was not talking about the correct airport(based on the flight number I had previously provided). When I asked for help to arrange a taxi to a restaurant, she gave the driver the wrong restaurant name(after I had said the correct one). There was also an instance in which I paid for both the green and blue tours with cash, and was asked if I had already paid. They checked their system and realized that I did. I should have asked for a receipt, but they should also check their records before asking this( it was confirmed that I had paid, so it wasn't a big issue)Additionally, I wanted to postpone the green and blue tours after a hectic traveling experience, as well as after a long day doing the red tour. I was told ”Don't worry...you will be in a VIP van..the tour will be great”, instead of just acknowledging the fact that we were exhausted. I didn't need to be sold on something I had already purchased(and that I still wanted to do). We just wanted some rest time before doing the other two tours. We were offered complimentary tea one last time at the end, but the staff member told us to write a review of our stay first. We refused, and I said I would do it later. She was friendly prior to our departure, but asked why I hadn't written a review. And, she asked if we could follow the hotel on Instagram. I understand the importance of advertizing a business within such a major tourist destination, but this was a bit too much. I hope the hotel can see this as constructive feedback.
Despite the previously mentioned verbal/written communication, it was a lovely hotel. I would definitely recommend this accomodation.

GGuest UserHands down, a five-star review! The biggest surprise of this trip was meeting such a thoughtful owner. Seriously, the best hotel owner in the world!!! We arrived in Cappadocia at 5 AM, and the temperature difference was significant. The owner, worried we'd be cold, let us check in a full 8 hours early. That was incredibly heartwarming and considerate!!! The owner was warm and polite, making conversations comfortable and easy. Any questions we had were answered meticulously. The room was spotlessly clean, the environment was quiet and comfortable, and all the amenities were well-stocked. From reception to check-in, the entire experience was fantastic, and the attention to detail truly won us over. Excellent value for money, absolutely smashed it!

GGuest UserI had doubts when I made booking - the hotel didn’t have many reviews. I took the risk though and it was well worth it.
My stay at Hira cave was amazing! The room was spacious, clean and beautiful, the bed was comfortable - I slept like a baby all 5 nights. The view from the terrace was fascinating and breakfast was delicious as well - the photographs are attached. The owners were friendly and helped to arrange pick up from the airport, shared a few useful hints about the hikes and did everything to make my stay memorable.

JJJsooWe had a great stay as a couple; the hotel is clean, has a lovely environment, and is conveniently located within walking distance of the Göreme center. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful—I even asked them to arrange a birthday decoration, and they did a wonderful job. They also offer easy bookings for Green/Red tours and hot air balloons, though prices are a bit premium compared to local agencies in town. While the breakfast was just average, the overall hospitality and great location made it a pleasant experience.

The terrace has a great location and offers an excellent view for watching the hot air balloons. It's also just a ten-minute walk to the sunrise and sunset viewpoint. Being right in Göreme town, it's very convenient to get around.
