"Our family had such a wonderful stay at Funny Lion! From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel so welcome, comfortable, and completely stress-free throughout our visit. The warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail truly made this a memorable experience for all of us.
A very special thank you to the General Manager for leading such an outstanding team, and to Janine for being extra patient, kind, and incredibly helpful during our stay. She truly went above and beyond to make sure my questions and requests were attended to. Huge thanks as well to all the rest of the staff members who were consistently friendly abd attentive in every way.
We also really enjoyed the food at Hunt Restaurant — definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and taste made it worth it. We originally wanted to dine at C75 as well, but it was fully booked, so I highly recommend making reservations in advance. The buffet breakfast was also very good, although the spread was a little limited.
The pool was very well maintained, and we appreciated that water activities like kayaking were included free of charge. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to visit the resort sandbar due to unexpected boat issues.
The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully prepared, with lovely little touches like fresh fruit juice and daily snacks that made the stay feel extra special.
Overall, it was such a warm, relaxing, and enjoyable family getaway. Thank you, Funny Lion, for the amazing hospitality — we can’t wait to come back!"

"We booked aziza when in still in korea.so when i reach pinas no more hassle.Its a grauation gift for my 3 children since i just 2 weeks to stay in pinas its our family bonding.the moment i step in airport 2 kuya's are very polite they have pick up and drop off which is very convenient.Receptionist is very friendly and amazing always wear a smile in their faces.Instead of booking a tour we decided not to since the hotel having a very good amenities.Breakfast is fantastic pancakes are verry cute.What trully Aziza unique from the people whos working from their hearts

GGuest UserOur room was lovely. The location was perfect and exactly what we were looking for—away from the crowded town, making it peaceful and serene.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My only suggestion would be to provide a few more rugs or floor mats to wipe our feet, as we only had one and the room can easily get wet after island hopping tours. The shower drain was also a bit slow, but it wasn't a big deal.
Other than that, we had a wonderful experience at the resort and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting El Nido.

OOliver WhitlockThe sea at Nacpan in the early morning is a blue-grey colour, not dull grey but textured, almost like matte glass. The light comes slowly over the mountains and spreads across the water. I joined the free morning yoga class the resort offers, on the beach, which was very comfortable.
One small frustration: not enough storage in the villa. Not many shelves or hooks, so camera gear and clothes had nowhere to go. The suitcase stayed open on the floor the whole time, which gets awkward in a small space. If you’re bringing a lot, just know that going in.
The room has a coffee machine and mini fridge, but I still liked walking to the restaurant. Head out before sunset, lie on a sun lounger, have dinner, then wander back slowly. The stars at night were more than I expected.

GGuest UserA 4-star hotel on paper; a fairly new hotel, but the upkeep leaves a lot to be desired. No supervision at the pools. A foul smell by the pool; the cleanliness of the pools needs reviewing. The air conditioning unit in the room dates from the 1960s, makes a very loud noise and, when in use, gives off a musty smell.
The bathroom is not clean around the shower.
Breakfast. There is a choice, but the quality is average.

GGrace Hutchinson!”One thing worth knowing if you’re travelling with kids: there are no children’s facilities, no waterslides, nothing like that. This is the kind of place that makes adults want to slow down. As for the kids, the pool isn’t deep, and right next door is Lio Beach. They also have footballs and volleyballs to borrow. We sat at a nearby café eating ice cream while watching them play, and I think that’s honestly one of the best things a parent can experience.
There’s a hotel shuttle roughly every hour that you can book to go into town. We arranged island hopping through the hotel, took the shuttle to the departure point in the morning, and found the area there had far more restaurants and shops than around the hotel. After the tour we stayed a bit longer in town before heading back, though not being able to shower straight away was a slight downside.
On the room itself, two sinks is a mum’s dream. There’s a kitchen but I had no intention of cooking. Still, being able to wash fruit and have it ready was genuinely useful. Two large double beds, both very comfortable, and after a full day of activity the kids were asleep before we even had to ask.”

From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support.
The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island.
The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway. Thank you for an exceptional stay!

TThat girl abroadI was honestly a bit disappointed with this resort. When you see the word “resort” and pay resort prices, you expect a certain standard. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to that.
The bed only had a thin sheet with no proper bedding, there was no water provided in the room, and parts of the property felt quite run down with visible rust. The bathroom, especially the shower area, could really use a deep clean. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. There were four different WiFi networks, but none of them worked properly and the connection was very slow. The staff did warn me about this in advance.
That being said, the staff were absolutely amazing. Reception went above and beyond by helping with my large bags, doing my laundry, organizing tours and transport, and assisting with everything I needed. Truly a chef’s kiss to the team. They were the highlight of my stay.
With some upgrades and better maintenance, this place could match the price they’re charging. Right now, it’s the staff that make the experience worthwhile.

CCT20We traveled as a family of four and booked two rooms—one twin-sharing and one queen double. Both rooms were in good condition, clean, and comfortable. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Daily housekeeping is available upon request, which was convenient.
Before our trip, I was a bit hesitant after reading some negative reviews mentioning repetitive breakfast options and the absence of hairdryers. However, it seems the hotel has addressed these concerns. Each room now comes with a brand-new hairdryer (ours was still in the box), and we were pleasantly surprised that the breakfast offerings were varied and different each day.
The hotel’s location in Coron town is another big plus, making it easy to walk to nearby restaurants.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again if we return to Coron.
