"What an excellent respite to this place after a trip coming from KL ! All the staff are friendly, welcoming and so helpful without being over the top - from the bellboys, reception, janitors to kitchen staff. Big shout out to them for the great service and thank you ! The bellboys especially were so enthusiastic in helping us with the luggages and so friendly in greeting every customer. Service recovery was also very efficient, we had an unsatisfactory issue with our room but it was resolved very quickly by the front desk lady manager on duty. The location and facilities of the hotel is also excellent - property is clean and well maintained, towels for beach and pool aplenty and poolside and beach facilities efficient. Room may not be big but it was well designed and well thought out and had everything you need for a good beach holiday. The balcony is clean and with outdoor chairs that one can actually sit in comfortably. Housekeeping was also excellent and thorough every single day. Kudos to the team ! Check-in is late at 4pm but I understand that's because rooms will only be ready for guests after a quality control inspection. I can really tell the attention to details in the housekeeping and room design. Food from the pool bar was really excellent ! Breakfast was enjoyable. We also dined at the Italian Bistro one evening and it was good though not cheap ! One feedback I have would be to include a multi layer clothes drying rack in the balcony ! Thumsb up and 5 stars all round from me !"

"Best part abt this hotel is its location. I booked the sea view which is splendid. Really beautiful view. Location wise is strategic as well. Just outside the hotel the quite a number of eateries as well. Fresh seafood selection. East Coast mall is pretty near as well. 10~15mins Grab ride. Which cost not more then Rm$15. Maintenance of room definitely needs improvement. It’s a pity if they neglect on this since they have a beautiful sea view to die for."

"Service was exceptional. The concierge, front office, housekeeping and f&b personnel were absolutely great! They were attentive and had great mannerisms! The hotel was also located within lush greenery which is really calming and serene. But I would have reservations for the interiors. It is a very very dated hotel as it felt like the interior is still stuck in the 1980-1990s. Only 1 of 2 hotels on Berjaya Hills - either Colmar Tropicale/ Chateau so there isn’t many options if this is not to your liking. The facilities were also not as well maintained as expected and the whole place just lacked vibes and atmosphere. The bathroom was also slippery and there was a lack of towels! Felt that the place has so much wasted potential. Colmar Tropicale and Japanese Village felt so tired looking - a much needed rejuvenation would really boost the place."

"We absolutely loved the chill, family-holiday vibe here. The lobby has so many cosy spots to just sit back and relax. Kids had a great time at the pool and slides, and the easy access to the beach was a big plus.
We stayed in the family room and it was very well maintained! Good air-conditioning, strong water pressure, and overall very comfortable. You really know a hotel is well maintained when even the corners and toilet tiles are clean! The staff are very friendly and helpful! One area for improvement would be the kids’ club. Should provide more educational toys, but during our visit it felt quite empty and there was no staff around. There was also no information shared on available kids’ activities. It became a bit boring for the kids after some time. It would be nice if the PlayStation could be free to use (like Hilton), and if staff could actively engage the kids or share a simple activity schedule. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing yet fun getaway. With some enhancements to the kids’ club, the experience would be even better. Would love to return! Thanks!"

Resorts World Genting - Genting SkyWorlds Hotel is conveniently located in the popular Genting Highlands area. The property offers a high standard of service and amenities to suit the individual needs of all travelers. Service-minded staff will welcome and guide you at Resorts World Genting - Genting SkyWorlds Hotel. Each guestroom is elegantly furnished and equipped with handy amenities. The property offers various recreational opportunities. Friendly staff, great facilities, and close proximity to all that Genting Highlands has to offer are three great reasons you should stay at Resorts World Genting - Genting SkyWorlds Hotel.

"Truly a family-friendly hotel! The Sixers Room with bunk beds was definitely a hit with the kids. The hotel location is very strategic — just opposite SkyWorlds Theme Park with only a 3-minute walk, and about 5 minutes to Avenue Mall. Very convenient for families with children. There are also plenty of food choices nearby. You can easily find a variety of food at Avenue Mall, or take a short walk to Kayangan Apartment for authentic Chinese food. The hotel is also near the link bridge connecting to Antara Mall, making everything easily accessible. Security is also very good. The access card only allows you to enter the floor you are staying on, and there are security personnel stationed downstairs, which made us feel safe throughout the stay. If you prefer a quieter environment, opt for a room facing the hill side. It is much less noisy and you can still enjoy the cable car view. Overall, a great stay for a fun, comfortable, and convenient family getaway!"

"We had a lovely family staycation at Colmar Tropicale and really enjoyed our time there. The surroundings were beautiful and made for a relaxing getaway. A heartfelt thank you to the team for upgrading our room and surprising my husband with a complimentary birthday dessert. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made his birthday extra special, and we truly appreciated it. The service throughout our stay was excellent. Every staff member we met was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only area that could use some improvement is the bathroom cleanliness, as it wasn't quite up to the standard we expected. Other than that, we had a great stay and created wonderful memories with our family. We'd definitely consider coming back again."

It was a totally different welcoming setup as compared to the Shahzan we used to frequent whenever we are in Fraser Hill. The rooms were very noticeably improved in terms of floor, bathroom and fittings. The restaurant, Puteri Teja Cafe, was also positively relayed out with a corner allocated for kids playground. The restroom next to the restaurant was also remarkably improved and sparkling clean. Overall, our stay here was a super sweet and we would definitely make another trip in future.

Great experience. If you need to take the cable car, you will need to GRAB from the hotel. Down the road there are many restaurants serving local food and also supermarket. My room was on the 35 floor, however, there are nearby constructions thus, in the morning from 9am, there will be noise. I did not use the facilities, thus, no comments. Check out time like all other hotels is strictly 11am. Check in was at 3pm. As they need to turnover the room.

Overall Review: Great Views, But a Noticeable Gap Between Experience and Expectations Overall, this stay had clear pros and cons. The hotel’s location and scenery are undeniably excellent, but there is still considerable room for improvement in areas such as traffic flow planning, facility details, service experience, and privacy management. Given the Ascott brand management and a room rate of RM1,100+ per night, we had expected a more premium accommodation experience. Unfortunately, the actual stay fell short of expectations and did not fully reflect the price point. Pros 1. Excellent Location and Scenic View The hotel is strategically located along a main road and directly opposite a golf course, offering an unobstructed view. Waking up to lush green lawns, blue skies, and white clouds created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. 2. Room Layout Suitable for Families or Groups We stayed in a Premium Two-Bedroom Unit, which was nicely designed with a practical layout. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. Although the bathrooms were relatively small, having two bedrooms and two bathrooms made it convenient and comfortable for a group of four. 3. Thoughtful Amenities The hot and cold water dispenser located at the lift lobby was a thoughtful touch. The room also came with a kettle, which was especially convenient for families and guests who prefer hot drinks. Cons 1. Bed Comfort Could Be Improved The bed was Queen-sized, but the mattress felt rather firm, while the pillows were overly large and thick, making the sleeping experience less comfortable. 2. Lift Access System Was Not Sensitive Enough The lift card scanning sensor was not very responsive. When staying on a lower floor, there were occasions where the access card had not yet been detected before the lift had already passed the intended floor, which affected convenience and user experience. 3. Poor Drop-Off and Parking Layout The luggage unloading area was located at the entrance of the parking area, where the road was narrow and often obstructed traffic flow. In addition, after rainfall, the parking area had significant puddles, making it inconvenient to walk, especially when carrying luggage. 4. Limited Check-In Space The check-in reception area was relatively small and struggled to handle the holiday crowd. During peak periods, the space became congested and chaotic. 5. Narrow Public Areas and Restaurant Queue Management The hotel hallways were generally narrow. While it is understandable that queues are unavoidable during peak travel seasons, the restaurant waiting area was clearly unable to accommodate the volume of guests, resulting in congestion. 6. Inefficient Dining Area Layout The food serving area could be better organized, especially around the coffee machine section. Despite having multiple machines, they were still insufficient to handle the high guest volume, leading to long queues. 7. Privacy Concerns The hotel should consider implementing stricter drone control policies within the property. While staying on the 4th floor, we woke up to find a drone flying past our open balcony/door area, which felt intrusive and raised privacy concerns. 8. Mismatch Between Price and Experience We chose this property largely because of the Ascott brand reputation and the RM1,100+ nightly rate, expecting a more premium level of accommodation and service. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations. From operational details to service quality, the hotel did not reflect the level typically associated with its pricing and branding.

1. The lights near the gate are dim, some aren't working. Poor lighting. It's easy to miss the turn. 2. Parking is okay, there's even parking for EV cars. 3. The lobby is okay too, and the staff at the counter were also just okay. 4. Dining area. Hmm, maybe you can do better. 5. The pool is suitable for kids. 6. Private beach ✅✅✅ clean. Not sure if it's safe to swim though. 7. Cleanliness. - The toilet had a slight smell, not very clean 2.8/5 - Sheets and pillows, not clean. - Towels had dirty spots. - The AC was dripping water, yes! It reached the bed, making it uncomfortable to sleep because I could feel the droplets on my face. 8. My husband got bed bugs, his legs and body were covered in bites. 9. Buffet breakfast changed to 'sahur' (the taste wasn't bad, it was okay). - White rice. Chicken with curry, I think? The chicken pieces were small. 2 prawns. Sliced watermelon & Sunquick/fresh orange juice? (At least offer ice cream as a dessert replacement). I don't have pictures for any of this because I was tired from the journey from Seremban, and then I got a room like that (Room number 1079). Disappointed. I only loved the beach. 😇

Excellent, we'll definitely be back! My friends and I had a great time, and the food wasn't expensive. The only thing is the paint smell in the room was a bit strong, which I hope they can improve. Also, there aren't many entertainment facilities. Keep up the good work!

My husband suggested this place for our 33rd marriage anniversary and I'm thankful that we came for our 4 nights stay here! We stayed at the Deluxe King Room. Firstly the immediate response with an official/personal email from the GM Mr Tony Teh acknowledging our booking and asking if we needed anything - this is exceptional and personal which gives us such warm feelings even before we started our stay! We forgot to notify in advance about our anniversary, yet upon check in, Mr Hykal who attended to us assured us that he would check about the matter. And just happened Ms Lynn who is the Public Relations in charge was at the Front Office received what I shared and she purposely made a special effort in making the special arrangements upon seeing my email reply to their GM. We chose the Sky Cafe to have our anniversary dinner - The special decorations done in the room (as a surprise to my husband) and the special table set-up for our dinner with a special discount for our anniversary dinner. On top of it the Chef Mr Phyo personally blessed us with his special-bake chocolate cake! The GM personally came up to the Sky Cafe to meet with us, such warmth and kindness! Upon arrival as we were lazy to go out, we ordered room service and the nasi goreng was super yummy! The daily breakfast is amazing - food is delicious (had the chance to chat with the Chef Shahrul), with different spreads throughout our four days. All the staff in the Breakfast place are exceptionally friendly, polite, helpful and always with smiles! These are the personnel that I managed to get their names - At the Front Office, Mr Hykal and Mr Sharul were the first who attended to us with the rest who were very helpful to our enquiries as well: Sofy, Najwa & Syirah. A special shout-out to the Housekeeping team under the leadership of Mr Hafis - who did such a great job in making such special decorations in the room! The Sky Cafe Team who served us during our anniversary dinner - Mr Azrael, Ms Fazlin and Chef Mr Phyo. And the Restaurant great team inside the kitchen and outside the restaurant area under the Manager (I can't recall his name) who were very attentive! Ohh, the night views of Genting Hilltop from the Rooftop Pool area - superb! Mr Tony Teh, you have a great asset - your Team is amazing! Thank you for making our 33rd anniversary a memorable one, and we are already considering coming back again!

Recently we stayed at Copthorne Cameron Highlands and had a pleasant overall experience. The hotel’s location is very strategic, especially for visitors who want easy access to Kea Farm and other nearby attractions. It is convenient for food hunting, shopping, and sightseeing around Cameron Highlands. The basement parking at the hotel was acceptable, although the number of parking spaces is somewhat limited. For guests staying in the house units, parking is much better as it is available directly in front of the room, making it very convenient. The check-in process was fair, with a reasonable waiting time, while the checkout experience was smooth and efficient. However, there are several areas that need improvement. The amenities provided could be enhanced to offer a better guest experience. Room cleanliness also requires more attention, as housekeeping standards should be improved to ensure guests enjoy a more comfortable and pleasant stay. Overall, Copthorne Cameron Highlands offers a great location and convenient parking options, but improvements in amenities and room cleanliness would significantly enhance the overall stay experience.

Great beachfront and pool—my kids absolutely loved it! We’ll definitely be coming back again soon. The only downside was the buffet breakfast, which felt quite basic and not very tasty. Other than that, everything else was excellent. I’d suggest grab-ing food from outside instead, as there are plenty of eateries nearby.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at B&J Tioman Dive Resort on Tioman Island, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, it was clear why B&J has built such a strong reputation among divers and travelers alike. One of the first things that impressed me was the cleanliness of the accommodation. The room was well-maintained, comfortable, and spotless throughout my stay. Housekeeping standards were consistently high, making it easy to relax after a day of diving and exploration. The resort grounds were also kept clean and tidy, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment that reflected the professionalism of the entire team. What truly made the experience special, however, was the people. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was assistance at the reception, advice on local activities, or help with dive logistics, the team always greeted guests with a smile. The dive instructors and divemasters deserve particular praise. They were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing the beauty of Tioman’s underwater world. Their enthusiasm was infectious and helped create a fun and relaxed atmosphere both above and below the surface. As a diver, I greatly appreciated the balance that B&J strikes between enjoyment and safety. Every dive was well-organized and professionally conducted. Safety briefings were thorough, equipment checks were carried out carefully, and the dive guides remained attentive throughout the dives. Despite maintaining high safety standards, the team ensured that the dives remained enjoyable and memorable. Their familiarity with local dive sites allowed us to maximize our underwater experience while feeling secure at all times. It is reassuring to dive with professionals who clearly prioritize guest safety without compromising the fun and excitement of exploring the reefs. Another highlight of staying at B&J was the abundance of delicious food available nearby. The resort’s location provides easy access to a variety of eateries offering local Malaysian dishes, fresh seafood, Western options, and refreshing drinks. After a day spent underwater, it was wonderful to have so many excellent dining choices within walking distance. The combination of great diving and great food made every day on the island something to look forward to. Overall, my stay at B&J Tioman Dive Resort was outstanding. The clean accommodation, warm and friendly staff, professional dive team, strong safety culture, and excellent food options combined to create an unforgettable holiday experience. I would not hesitate to recommend B&J to anyone visiting Tioman Island, whether they are experienced divers, new divers, or simply looking for a relaxing island getaway. Thank you to the entire B&J team for making my trip so enjoyable, and I look forward to returning again in the future.
