The famous Hassan II Mosque is within a 20–25 minute walk (about 2 km away). Rick’s Café is also nearby.
Despite reviews saying there is basically no parking and you have to park nearby or at the station, we managed to park right outside the hotel—there was a spot available, and it was completely free.
The rooms have the standard, minimalist, and compact layout—everything is just as you would usually expect from an ibis."

"A beautiful hotel, well designed and well placed to get to the main places to visit in Casablanca. The staff on reception and the concierge were delightful, smiley and cheerful always- we really appreciated it.
The dining area staff we encountered were not as cheery or helpful. The breakfast was mediocre, a meagre selection and not appealing. We didn’t like the fact that we had to wait to be served drinks in the morning, hot water, tea and coffee should be on tap for multiple visits during breakfast. The person behind the drinks bar was slow to take and make the orders and not particularly helpful- some cafetières or tea and coffee dispensers would remedy this. The room itself had a few cosmetic imperfections and could do with a deep clean, including the walls. We were surprised to see a lack of bidet showers in the bathroom, which was inconvenient and not in keeping with the culture we were expecting.
Finally, the water went off a couple of times and the lifts were not in working on one occasion, both were rectified fairly quickly, but it was an inconvenience as we were not able to complete our morning ablutions."

"My Moroccon friend I studied my phd with in Ireland (my nationality) drove me from Cas airport to the hotel & helped me with my bags to my room & ordered me a bottle of wine from the bar (about the same price as the deluxe room), saying welcome to my beautiful country! The bar staff took the wine off my friend, a GP, and said ”I know this is how you earn your bread and you will be paid but we don't accept this here”. I.e. The receptionist accused my friend of being a **********. The bar man was disgusted by the comment. Having paid, I didn't stay at the hotel and checked out the next day. The receptionist should say... We don't accept non-customers going to customers rooms, not accuse another Moroccon woman of being a ****** (my conservative Muslim friend was mortified)"

"The location was good, very easy to reach by bus. The beach isnt very clean though.
The AC didnt always work. It got quiet hot at night time but cold in the morning. Same with the shower, it took a while to get warm water and it didnt last for long. There were also quiet a fee ants in tht bathroom area. There are no soundproof walls - whenever someone from the next room moved, it felt like this person would be in my room.
All in all this hotel has passed its best years."

"The hotel room was exceptionally good, I especially liked how the television sets in each room (living and bedroom) were concealed behind mirrors. The price was exceptional for such a high standard. One strange thing, (just so you know this is a genuine review), the kitchen didn't come with any cutlery despite having a cutlery draw and container and cooking facilities. I visit every year prior to a family holiday and will certainly stay here from now on"

"For its price, it's alright. But there are quite a few drawbacks. It's within walking distance from the train station. The breakfast is typical for Morocco – sparse but caloric. "The hotel is luxurious and deserves its rating, but I have a major concern that's frankly shameful and scandalous. For a hotel of this size and luxury in a Muslim country like the Kingdom of Morocco, it's an absolute disgrace that prayer mats are not provided in the rooms. This is truly scandalous and a betrayal of Moroccan identity, to be honest. You provide alcohol and gambling, and yet you can't provide prayer mats?!"

"We booked a Silver studio, and it was spacious enough for three of us. The kitchenette was handy, especially for heating milk in the microwave. The breakfast selection was quite comprehensive (milk, cereal, baguettes, cakes, whole-wheat bread, pastries, fruit, scrambled eggs...). Freshly squeezed orange juice had to be requested from a waiter. I particularly appreciated the vegetable salad and the two types of soup, which were perfect for a Chinese palate. There were also three Moroccan flatbreads (staple food) that I noticed being sold on the streets, so perhaps that's what locals typically eat for breakfast – I found them just okay. The cleaning lady tidied up daily, and during our 5-night stay, she 'automatically' changed the sheets and pillowcases on the third day. On the lobby level, walking towards the gym, there are many spaces available, including small meeting rooms, which I suspect most guests don't know about. I used the gym a few times and had it all to myself each time. Another lesser-known fact is that bus line L005 stops right outside the hotel and goes directly to various attractions/beaches along Miami Avenue, for example, for 5 MAD (it's best to have exact change for tickets), you can reach Aïn Diab beach, which is beautiful 👍. A few things that could be improved: the bathroom facilities looked a bit old, and the shower door had a minor issue and didn't close properly."

"The room was quite spacious and close to the beach, about a 10-minute walk away. It was also just a few minutes from the Old Market. The room layout was a bit unique; the toilet and shower were separate, with the sink situated between the bed and the shower. The pool isn't heated, so it's not open outside of summer."

My stay at Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche was extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected from a Accor luxury hotel.
Service was unprofessional from check-in, breakfast quality and hygiene were poor, and even simple orders took far too long.
Most seriously, personal belongings were taken from my room, and the hotel failed to conduct any proper investigation or provide follow-up despite multiple complaints.
Overall, poor management and serious security concerns. I would not recommend this hotel.

This was my first time flying Royal Air Maroc, and I had an overnight layover in Casablanca. Based on reviews, I chose this hotel because it mentioned train access to the city center. Even though navigation didn't show the route, I found the train station a short walk to the left after exiting arrivals. I bought a ticket to Casa Port from the vending machine for 60 local currency. The last train was supposed to be at 9:55 PM, with one transfer. However, the train didn't show up by 10:20 PM. Staff arranged for us to take a bus to the transfer station. From there, it would have been over an hour's walk back to the hotel, so we waited another 40 minutes on the bus before it finally took us to Casa Port. It was then a 30-minute walk back to the hotel. I wouldn't recommend walking that far at night, especially alone or for women, as I felt the area might not be very safe. So, I opted for an Uber to the airport the next day, which cost 330 local currency, avoiding any haggling with taxis. The hotel itself was nice, and breakfast was good. The next morning, I walked to see the Hassan II Mosque and some nearby attractions. I think more information about transportation options would be helpful.

Guest UserVery close to the airport. The room had a comfortable bed, but the pillows were huge and uncomfortable. There was a kettle, tea, and instant coffee in the room. The staff were very polite and friendly. Check-in took a bit long, about 20 minutes. We went for a swim in the pool; everyone saw us heading there and just smiled, not saying anything. But once we were in the water, they told us we couldn't swim. Maybe there were chemicals? We didn't understand. We went straight back to our room to shower. The water was hot with good pressure, and the bathtub was comfortable. The view was nice. There's a shuttle every half hour. The restaurant had regular prices, and the dish was beautifully presented, though the taste was debatable.

Guest UserThis was a welcome Oasis which we booked for a night due to a sufficiently long layover to justify. This case it was around 15 hours and it would be overnight so it was decided to book this hotel in order to be a bit more comfortable and refreshed for the next day's leg. For those who are sensitive, there does appear to be evidence to suggest scented product use throughout the establishment... But it's not too overpowering such as on the Royal Air Morocco's aircraft.... Staff are very courteous and knowledgeable. The rooms are neat and tidy and well laid out with sufficient room to move about in. It's a surprisingly quiet area given its proximity to the airport. And it has a free shuttle which is currently running every 30 minutes on the hour. Give yourself a little bit of extra time to find where the shuttle is though as it may not be particularly apparent. The breakfast spread is very delicious and the fact that they had the famous Moroccan mint tea and bottomless cups really made my day! My only regret in staying here is that it was a bit of an excursion to go into the city to do some proper sightseeing and take in all the wonders of Casablanca.... Even if I've only seen the movie once ;) ... But this isn't on the hotel.... And hopefully I look forward to visiting again and spending a bit more time to explore this interesting region. A thoroughly endearing part of this hotel were some cats patrolling the premises.

The most interesting thing was when we went for a walk and returned to find our bag of nuts had been gnawed by mice. Breakfast included is a plus.

It's been over a week, and they still haven't processed my refund, even though I've sent photos of the payment receipt five times through the Trip.com chat and via email. My impression of the hotel is completely ruined.

Robin xuanOur stay was incredibly pleasant. The hotel's location is excellent, close to the Old Medina and Mohammed V Square, making it easy to get around on foot. There are also plenty of transport options and shops nearby. The front desk staff includes Mandarin-speaking personnel, which made communication smooth, and currency exchange was conveniently available, making it especially friendly for Chinese tourists.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a quiet and peaceful stay. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including both Chinese dishes and local specialties, catering well to Chinese tastes.
