"Lahan Hotel had a great view of the East Sea and Pohang Space Walk and was very clean and well furnished. Shower amenities (shampoo, soap and body lotion) have a stronger scent than most hotels (tabacoo scented) and may be a hit or miss for travellers. Location was also convenient, with just a short walk to Yeongildae Beach and eateries along the beach street. Many buses also have routes along the Main Street which made it easy and convenient to explore Pohang. The reception staff were also very helpful and gave us helpful advice for our itinerary and plans based on their local knowledge (:"

"This hotel is super conveniently located next to the Gyeongju Intercity Bus Terminal (just a few minutes' walk). You can easily walk to popular spots like Daereungwon Tomb Complex, Hwanglidan-gil Street, Cheomseongdae Observatory, and Jungang Market.
There are some great local eateries nearby; just ask the front desk for their recommendations. If you exit the hotel, turn right, then take the first left, you'll find a restaurant called XX Wang XX Galbi (it has the character '왕' (Wang/King) in its sign). We passed by a few times, and it was always packed at night, so it seems popular with locals. You cook the meat yourself there.
Breakfast is simple but decent, with complimentary instant noodles and eggs you can fry yourself.
There's an arcade machine in the lobby with tons of games (major throwback to childhood!), definitely worth checking out.

"There is no boiler, so it is only equipped with an air conditioner and an air purifier, so when I turn on the heater, it is too dry, so I lower it to 24 degrees and sleep. When I turn it off, it feels a little chilly.
You have to be careful when entering and exiting the parking lot because it is a little steep.
The view was really the best~!!!

"Modern new hotel about 8 min drive from Hahoe village. Our double twin bed room was fairly large with enough room to maneuver. A nice perk include washer and dryer in basement. The downside is rhe location is barren so if you are looking to walk outside the hotel and see something or to get food, you can forget about it. There is nothing around the hotel. Bus stop is a few min up from hotel. It takes about 40 min bus ride to get into main Andong area."

"It was a trip with a 9-year-old child.
The twin room had two queen-size beds.
It was spacious enough for three people, and with two desks and a small round table, it was convenient in many ways.
I was surprised to find a breakfast service.
Taiwanese-style cheese and ham sandwiches, milk, yogurt, bottled water, soda, Hangang ramen, and instant coffee mix were provided.
It was a very simple service, but the fact that they provided it at all was excellent.
The location was great, right next to the intercity bus terminal, and there was a convenience store right in front, so I was able to use it comfortably."

"This is the best hostel!
As soon as you enter, the styler is in front! The village overlooking through the window next door was like a painting.
It's a new building, so you can relax clean, cozy and quiet, so healing is natural.
The boss and his wife are so kind, and the breakfast they prepared was the best impression.
It tastes good and you can feel what it means to be sincere ...
I felt really treated.
When you go up to the rooftop, you see another world. There is a Dokdo Observation Cable Car in front, and the whole village spreads out like a panoramic view below.
It was amazing how there was such a hostel in such a place. ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ
Thanks to Staymandi, I will visit again without worrying about my second trip to Ulleungdo, which is so memorable."

Its a pity that the upper floor rooms got occupied so we were assigned to lower floor and the room was facing n pretty close to a construction next to the hotel and so we were worrying abt the dust and noise and a bit disappointed with the ‘seaview’ outside the terrace… luckily the front desk lady offered us another room on the same floor facing the carpark instead so the sea is really just one car away and it feels so much better :] she even offer us to check the rooftop family that comes with jacuzzi but we didnt bring out swimsuits so its out of our consideration.
The room is huge and the view is superb, except 1. it d be better if theres a door/curtain for the toilet/bathroom area for privacy and also noise isolation; 2. The fridge and rubbish bin are a bit too small for a family-sized guests; 3. Lacking racks/hooks to hang clothes and towels when u shower, a bit inconvenient…
However everything else is awesome, they hv clothing disinfectant machine provided in the room, a giant size tv which is good for family, amenity kits come with most of the things u need including facial cleanser/toner/moisturiser. Theres a coffee machine and ice making machine at the lobby so u can het ur everyday coffee free. Also the public terrace on 10/f is super nice n chill with the sea view, its both nice both day n night, highly recommend!
There are tons of restaurants mostly grilled meat/seafood dishes in the neighbourhood as its right next to the famous beach where ppl comes here for the yeonglidae pavillion, which looks nice at night! Space walk is also nearby. The locals all do their morning exercise walk by strolling along the seashore bare feet! Theres a shoe rack storage and feet washing facilities provided so u can come enjoy bare-foot walking in empty hands and leave clean and dry!
Its a nice stay and i would recommend to others!

步行 | TravellerI was really surprised by how good the location was. It is next to a fantastic Chinese restaurant frequented by many locals. The hotel has above average amenities for its price point. Big bedroom and hot tub with jet massage. The breakfast was a nice touch. The self service locker was also amazing add on. There are some slight downsides. First of all I found a long hair inside of the bed sheet (I do not have long hair). Second of all, the checkout time is 11 am and I received phone call at 10:50 am telling me to hurry up and check out or they will penalize me for being late. This might be a communication issue but this just comes off as very rude and avaricious on the part of the owners. There does seem to be many mini-surcharge here and there in the hotel, but luckily I didn’t bump into any of them.

I stayed at this hostel and felt it had excellent value for money. The location, price, and cleanliness were all very good. It is very close to the bus terminal in Gyeongju, and I could reach the main streets within a few minutes on foot. Bus travel is very common in Gyeongju, so I especially liked how close it was not only to the terminal but also to bus stops going to the city center.
The building was very clean and full of stylish and creative details. I could really feel the owner’s personality and care in the design. The rooms were divided into small sections such as 4-bed rooms, so everything was easy to understand and comfortable. The room key used a touch system, and the beds were large enough. I even had plenty of space for my luggage at the foot of the bed.
The toilet and shower rooms were separated. The shower area was a shared shower room with several showers inside one large room. The changing area and entrance were together, so it could feel a little narrow when other guests were there, but everything was clean and functional.
I arrived earlier than check-in time, but I could leave my luggage there. I also received clear instructions about the password and security system, so I felt safe. Even after check-out, they kindly allowed me to leave my large luggage there for a while. Overall, I received very good service and had a great stay.

Anonymous UserFrom check-in to check-out, all the staff were friendly. The room's interior with a raised platform was unique and surprisingly practical, which I really liked. Overall, the room was spacious and clean. Choosing a lake view room was a great decision, as I could see the outdoor pool below and Bomun Lake from day to night – it was fantastic!

Guest UserIt had been a really long time since I last visited Gyeongju, and I had a lot of concerns regarding the accommodation's location and traveling with my kids.
In conclusion, if you're traveling with children, I highly recommend this place! ^^
It seemed like the boutique and legacy sections were run together, and breakfast was served on the 5th floor of the legacy building. The basic side dishes, seaweed soup, instant ramen, cereal, bread, etc., were worth the approximately 15,000 won for adults, but it felt a bit pricey for elementary school children. However, the staff were very kind and even prepared separate seaweed snacks for the kids, which was wonderful!
There's also a kids' cafe-like area perfect for children to play, and in the basement of the boutique, there are free game machines, so the kids spent their time there when we were at the accommodation! There are also comic books. ^^
The room was generally clean, but the small patches of mold in the bathroom corners were a bit disappointing.
If I visit Gyeongju again, I would definitely stay here 100% again! ^^
There's a Daiso right next door, so we could buy necessities as needed, and although the convenience store was a bit expensive, it being open 24 hours was a plus!
There's no underground parking, but the lot is spacious, so we had no worries about parking. ^^

Blom2The service was excellent! The young owners went over and beyond call of duty to help and accommodate me during my stay. I stayed for a few days and loved the room. The whole guesthouse was very interesting. The decor was great. Also, the young owners love animals and fish. This made the first floor very interesting. I am really grateful for their help in recommendations and directions. As I have said, they went out of their way to help me!

The room service chicken was really delicious, and there was a sauna, so I could come back every day and relax in the sauna. The breakfast had a lot of options and the view was great, so overall it was a satisfactory hotel. I will come back again when I come to Gyeongju!

Guest UserThe hotel has been recently renovated, so it's clean, and the breakfast is decent. The room is on the smaller side, which I'd recommend if you just need a place to sleep. However, the lounge is spacious and convenient for relaxing. The only downside is the inconvenient parking; you have to park across the street or in a public parking lot.
