"The bath was on the smaller side, but it wasn't crowded and was very comfortable.
The welcome drink corner on the first floor, where you could sample different alcoholic beverages, was a fun experience.
The fact that the hair dryers and showerheads were ReFa products is also a nice touch, especially for women.
The location is in a bar district, so it's perfect for those who enjoy drinking."

"Everything was very clean and meticulously maintained. I stayed in a premium twin room, and the service was excellent - free drinks in the fridge, BVLGARI amenities, and even nightly chocolate by my bed. The lobby lounge also offered free drinks, and the staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay very comfortable.
As you'd expect from a hotel designed by a world-famous architect, the flow of traffic was streamlined, making the standard rooms feel spacious.
The only downside was that the sauce on the eggs Benedict at breakfast was a bit lacking."

"The scenery was absolutely beautiful! Lions fans would definitely be thrilled. I checked in around 8 PM, but it was really dark with few streetlights, so it was a bit scary getting there, haha. It turned out to be a memorable trip to Miyazaki!"

Within walking distance of 10min you can find almost everything from shopping to izakaya. The best part I like is the sauna and hot spring. It has outdoor and indoor hot spring baths and sauna. Amenities in the public bath is complete with lotion, tonic, hair gel, shaving form and even towel is provided so you don't need to bring your own. Overall, a great hotel."

GGuest UserThe room is big with all the amenities. Our room is facing the sea, we were able to see the sun rise, super gorgeous! The onsen is also great, free for us, and it is open to the public with surcharge. The hostel location is 10/10, close to the Aoshima island, and there is a big park nearby! We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel offers great amenities like a microwave and laundry room, which are really handy. We had breakfast at the hotel; the quality was average, but they had a wide variety of fresh vegetables, which helped us get our greens and fiber for the day. We stayed for three nights, and Miyazaki truly exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness, tranquility, comfort, and pleasant climate. The people are warm and genuine, and things are affordable. It's a perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

It is a very Japanese-style hotel, so there is no bathroom in the room, and you have to go to the public bath to take a bath. Takachiho is a small village, and the shops on the street close very early at night. You can walk to the shrine to watch the famous Yokagura, which is worth seeing.

ののむならのむMiyazaki Kanko Hotel stands along Tachibana Koen-dori Street (1-1-1 Matsuyama, Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture, 880-8512) overlooking the Oyodo River.
It is a large, well-established hotel.
There is a large hot spring bath on the first floor of the West Wing, and on the second floor is Shokusai Kenbi Ichiboku Ichiso, where the breakfast buffet is located. A dinner buffet is also available.
The hotel is old, so there is nothing new about it, but the rooms are spacious, the utility room is spacious, and the bathtub is also large.
There is only an AC outlet for power, no USB, and the AC at the desk has to be plugged in through a wall socket at the foot of the desk, which gives it a sense of history, but this is not a problem.

GGuest UserThe Single room is very spacious and the bed( small double)is consider big for one person. The hotel spa is superb and breakfast is sumptuous. You must try their weekend buffet, the spread and quality of food is good.
The only thing I find weird is that all guest must changed to the slipper the hotel provided to move around within the facilities. Anyway, overall experience is good.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at Hotel Shikimi. The staff was delightful. They were all so nice and helpful. We also loved the food and they went over and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. The location was perfect for walking to local tourist spots. If I ever return to Takachiho, I would stay there again.

AAnonymous UserHotel is centrally location, a few stop is bus stop to airport and vice versa, walkable distance to Miyazaki Station and Minami Miyazaki Station, if don’t wanna to walk, there is option to take bus to both stations. Tachibana shopping street and its neighborhood is nearby. Room design is cute and lovely, breakfast is available until 11.00 for dine in and take out.

On site car park limited lots in B1/B2, especially when they have functions in hotel in the evening. So need to park at nearby carparks, suggested open air car park was 100m away.
Hotel parking charges 1000¥ per overnight. Public parking is 500$¥ from 6pm to 8am, after that is by hourly charge.

LlittletimberThe affiliated parking fee was 1,000 yen per night, and you could enter and exit freely, but you had to take your parking ticket to the front desk each time you entered and exited. The location is very good, so I think 1,000 yen per night is cheap. The free drink bar has a wide selection of shochu, fruit liqueurs, charcoal water, and ice, so you can make a variety of chuhai and cocktails by combining them. The natural hot spring is not large (it can fit 5 or 6 people), but it is clean and the quality of the spring is good. The free breakfast buffet has a decent variety of side dishes and freshly baked bread, all of which are delicious, and the coffee is also delicious. Overall, it feels like a business hotel with a lot of service. It was clean, the front desk was kind and polite, and it was a comfortable stay. However, there is only one elevator that can accommodate about 10 people, and the emergency stairs are not open, so it gets crowded around 8:30 in the morning. Someone I met at the hotel said that if there are many group guests staying, you may have to wait for the elevator for more than 10 minutes.
