"This hotel is incredibly convenient, located right above the JR station and connected to a shopping mall with stores like Uniqlo and Muji. There's a grocery store on the basement level with super affordable sashimi and sushi. You can easily walk to the Red Brick Warehouse and Yamashita Park by the sea, making for a pleasant evening stroll. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, everything is delicious. Each floor has an ice machine and vending machines. For a hotel in Japan at this price point, the rooms are quite spacious, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's super easy to get to places like Kamakura, Odawara, or even Tokyo from here, and all the main attractions in Yokohama itself are within walking distance. Compared to the InterContinental I stayed at last time I was in Yokohama, this place offers so much more value for money; the InterContinental was triple the price for one night! It's also more cost-effective than staying in Tokyo, where hotels generally offer even less value. Highly recommend!"

"very clean and safe even as a solo female traveler!! i do speak japanese so my experience might've been a little different but regardless, the staff always responded kindly and politely (even at night) no matter what i asked. also i liked that there's free cleaning every 4 days. the hotel is less than 10 minutes of walking to both kannai and bashamichi stations, and you can go to tokyo without transfers on minatomirai line from bashamichi station in just an hour if you wish you explore tokyo. if i have an opportunity, i'll definitely stay at this hotel again. the only slight issue there could be is the queue to washing machine as there's only two of them but for me personally it wasn't a dealbreaker so i had no problem waiting."

For Japan, the room is quite spacious, and it has both a shower and a separate bathtub. The hotel is very new and the environment is excellent. "This was my second stay here. My previous visit with my child was so enjoyable that when a friend came to Japan, I brought them here for a night. Throughout our stay, the staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful. Both breakfast and dinner were very satisfying. However, at check-out, one particular staff member's attitude absolutely floored me. 1. For self-check-out, there were three machines. One was free, and there was no queue, so we just went ahead and used it. 2. After checking out, I wanted to inquire about the hotel shuttle and public bus routes and schedules, as we didn't have a car this time. Both manual check-out counters were busy with guests, so I stood behind them, waiting my turn. 3. Suddenly, a staff member came out from the side to guide guests queuing for check-out. She noticed I was inadvertently standing in front of the line she was directing. She gestured for me to move, and I apologized and immediately stepped aside. Then, when she had a moment, I asked her where I should queue to inquire about the hotel bus schedule. For some reason, she seemed extremely annoyed. She spoke to me with a blank expression for a couple of sentences, then realized I didn't speak Japanese, and that she couldn't explain it to me quickly. Our conversation wasn't even finished when she angrily turned and walked away... At first, I thought she was in a hurry to attend to the queuing guests, as it was peak check-out time, and that she'd get back to me. So I waited in a spot where I wouldn't bother her or her line. But then I realized she completely intended to ignore me! I just stood there waiting for her, hahaha. Eventually, I thought, 'This isn't right. Is getting a schedule really this difficult?' She was the only person available to ask, so I went up to her again and asked in English. She froze, looking at me with a surprised expression, perhaps not expecting me to come back after her impolite demeanor. So, she had to patiently, albeit reluctantly, quickly reply to me in English. I asked if she could give me a copy of the schedule. She didn't even say ”please wait a moment.” She just turned directly to the counter, grabbed a schedule, practically slapped it into my hand with a ”Pia!” sound, said absolutely nothing, and then spun around and walked away, hahaha. I even managed to say ”thank you” to her. I was stunned. A 2600 yen per night hotel, and in my two years in Japan, this was the first time I'd experienced such shockingly poor service. I suggest that during peak check-out times, more staff should be assigned, or essential information like schedules should be placed in a conspicuous location, which would also save staff the trouble. And while the hotel indicates Chinese-speaking service is available, if staff who only speak Chinese are discouraged from asking questions, then I suggest the hotel shouldn't be on platforms like Ctrip trying to attract Chinese customers in the first place."

Housekeeping was every four days, but fresh towels and new garbage bags were provided daily, which was perfect for a business trip. The location is great, close to Sakuragicho and within walking distance of Nippon Maru. Plus, there's a convenience store right downstairs, making it super convenient."

"I returned to my beloved Sakuragicho Washington Hotel for a two-night stay at the end of 2025. It's conveniently located right across from JR Sakuragicho Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Directly opposite is a large shopping mall with a cinema and many restaurants on the top floor, and a supermarket on the basement level that's open until 11 PM. Situated in the Minatomirai area, its prime location means you can take the cable car across and walk to the Red Brick Warehouse in just about ten minutes! When booking, try to reserve a room with 'night view' in the description. You'll be able to see the stunning night view of Minatomirai. I booked late this time and only got a room on the other side, but it felt a bit more spacious! At the front desk, you can pick up skincare products, toiletries, face masks, and bath additives. Breakfast is on the fifth floor at Bayside, where you can enjoy tuna from Misaki Port and some Yokohama specialty dishes. If you're lucky, you might even get a table with a view! Joining the Fujita membership allows you to enjoy complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge. You can also accumulate points to exchange for a night-view room, and receive small gifts."

I spent a wonderful night here during New Year's Eve. The waiter barely understands people and foreign languages, but he is friendly and good at communication. I booked a public bathroom first, but then I changed it to a private bath when there was room. My satisfaction improved a lot! The hotel is very close to Hakoyō-Yumoto Station, and the taxi cost was less than 1,000 yen. Later, we couldn't get a taxi and it was very comfortable for us to walk to the station for 15 minutes with our children🏳️🌈

We used this hotel for a birthday trip. We had requested a message plate when making the reservation, but it wasn't reflected in our request. However, when we inquired with the staff during dinner, they kindly accommodated our request, allowing us to create the surprise. I had always wanted to stay at Fufu, and this was my first time, and it was a wonderful experience. We've already talked about wanting to stay at other Fufu locations for each other's birthday trips in the future. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

We were looking for onsen with private bath on the balcony and probably hit the sweet spot. Unfortunately we had only 1 night stay, but it was fantastic. Onsen is located at the top station Gora, where you can get from Odawara. That’s around 2 hours from Tokyo all together, around 3 hours from Kyoto. Last 2 sections of the way are going through a picturesque steep railway. Views are great! Be sure to rush to the front or back seats (doesn’t matter which) to secure a spot for nice photographs. Private bath is fantastic, rooms are clean and spacious with a touch of ryokan style (tatami etc). That’s a perfect place to sit and relax doesn’t matter it’s sunshine or pooring rain outside. The food was fantastic (according to my wife), however the options are limited if you’re not eating fish or sea products due to allergy or other reasons. For Karaku team - I would suggest adding a signature wagyu set for those who would like something else. Selection of wine and alcohol drinks is superb. Free snacks and coffee are available till 8 p.m. as well with a view terrace. For those who like some regular conbini stuff - Lawson is around 10 mins walk with Miyazaki style trains passing by👌🏻 All in all, we wish we had stayed at least 2 nights as there are lots of activities around.  Thanks to Karaku staff for a warm welcome and tailored experience!

The room was quite spacious, and being right by the sea, I could enjoy ocean views from the window. The location is super convenient – it's only about 300-400 meters from the Big Ferris Wheel, 700-800 meters from the Red Brick Warehouse, 200 meters from the Convention Center, and 300-400 meters from the Portside Shopping Area. Chinatown is roughly 1.3 km away, and Noge Yokocho is about 1.2 km. Absolutely fantastic location!

Thanks to other guests for mentioning the transportation in their reviews. Getting to the hotel from Odawara was a bit of a hassle, but once I arrived, I felt it was absolutely the right choice. The hotel's location is excellent, with mountain views from the room, and it's clean and tidy. The free, unlimited ice cream at the hotel is delicious and definitely deserves a special shout-out. Breakfast was plentiful, and the dinner buffet was fantastic, with all-you-can-eat sashimi and unagi don, plus surprisingly tasty lobster, and a wide selection of drinks. That evening, I enjoyed the outdoor hot spring all to myself, facing a waterfall and forest – it was incredibly relaxing. The hotel's shuttle bus is very convenient! The staff were very attentive and detailed in their service, with great attitudes and thorough explanations! Apart from the tricky transportation, everything else was wonderful.

When traveling, it's always best to stay at a hotel! This one is conveniently located right next to JR Kawasaki Station, making getting around super easy. If you're flying in or out of Haneda Airport and using Keikyu Kawasaki Station, it's less than a ten-minute walk to the hotel. The area around the hotel is bustling with shops, including all the popular brands you'd expect, plus several electronics stores and underground food supermarkets. The hotel staff are incredibly warm and attentive, making for a very comfortable stay. The rooms themselves are quite spacious, clean, and tidy, offering complimentary bottled water and capsule coffee. On the desk, there's a welcome paper crane and an extra origami piece you can take home as a souvenir. The lobby on the first floor provides self-service amenities ranging from cleansing oil to toner, lotion, and even a face mask. Definitely plan your trip early to get a better deal on the hotel price!

Ryori-yaku (restaurant name), the hot springs in Hakone are unparalleled, but the food here really deserves mention. I've been to Ryori-yaku in Izu before, and compared to that, this one probably suits my taste better. It's not as sweet, so the food is refreshing and not cloying. The only downside is that the rooms are really small—every inch of space is precious!

Take the Shinkansen from Osaka to Odawara, then transfer to the tram to Hakone Yumoto, and then take a bus to Gora. Two people dragged their suitcases and walked uphill for 15 minutes. They were exhausted. When they arrived at the hotel, they found that they could wait for the train in Gora, and it only took 5 minutes to walk. The hotel facilities are not new, and there are not many guests, mostly Japanese tourists. The hot spring is relatively small, and the water temperature is very high. You have to come out to breathe after soaking for a while. I experienced the private bath and open-air hot spring, and there were a lot of mosquitoes. The food is OK, worthy of the price.

It is not the first time I have stayed at this capsule hotel. The capsule does not make you feel claustrophobic, and it is quite sound isolated from other capsules. In addition, the hotel is very well located, just a couple of minutes' walk from Yokohama Station. The only problem is that there is no private men's bathroom. So, if you don't feel comfortable showering in front of others, you may have to consider another option. If collective showering is okay, there is plenty of space. There is even a sauna and pools; not to swim, but it is big enough for several people to enjoy it at the same time.

The hotel is right on Zhonghua Food Street, so it's very easy to find. The front desk was staffed by a very kind old Japanese gentleman. The room space was decent, with a separate wet and dry area, and even a dedicated desk area. The overall space was quite large. The facilities were average, but overall it was a good stay.
