"I was full of expectations at this long-awaited hotel! It didn't disappoint and my stay was even better than I imagined. I was extremely satisfied with the room, the service, and the amenities. I was especially impressed with the ********* porridge course for breakfast. I'll never forget the douhua, which I enjoyed even though I don't like soy. I'd love to stay here again!"

"This was the best out of the three hotels we stayed at during our trip. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Kanazawa Station, and there's a bus stop conveniently located nearby. The superior double room was spacious and comfortable, with a well-thought-out layout that included a microwave and a washer-dryer. The front desk staff were attentive and friendly, and the breakfast was also very good. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Kanazawa!"

"Stayed here while traveling along the Sea of Japan coastline. Overall, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, they upgraded my room, and the location wasn't far from the station, which was convenient for catching an early train the next morning. On the other hand, the staff didn't explain any of the hotel facilities, and the Wi-Fi was intermittent, which was very inconvenient for someone who might need to use a computer at any moment. If you're just traveling and need a place to sleep, this spot is fine, especially since the price is good. But for business travelers, the ANA hotel next door would be a better choice. Personally, I probably won't be returning."

Soak in the seasons, savor the land, and enjoy the nature's produces. A spontaneous journey where you can regain your sense of self and spend your time. A 15-minute walk from Kanazawa Station. Located just next to the Omi-cho Market, called the “kitchen of the city,” is SOKI KANAZAWA. Situated in Fukuromachi, this was a place once flourishing with merchants constantly coming and going. 'SO' means "bare", "simplicity" and "plain", 'KI' means "vessel". This is a hotel that embraces the simplicity of spending time as it is. Unwind just as you prefer in the large public bath and enjoy a pleasant night’s sleep in your room. Enjoy a nourishing, relaxing breakfast made with nothing but fresh, local ingredients. In Kanazawa, where Kitamae ships have come and gone since long ago, while bringing along many diverse cultures, make use of all of your senses to experience the allure of each season. Enjoy a stay that will harmonize your mind and body. Let time pass on a spontaneous journey to regain your true self as you surrender yourself to the seasons and nature’s surroundings. <For guests with children> One child under 12 years old sleeps free per bed. *No extra beds are available. *Breakfast is not included for children who sleep with their parents. If you wish to use this service, please contact the hotel directly.

"Everything was good, but I'm afraid I can't give high marks for the facilities and service. It was self-check-in, and cleaning only happened after a few days' stay. I was a bit annoyed to find the hotel was cheaper after I booked it. When I asked about a room upgrade, they seemed really surprised, like, why be surprised if it's not possible? It's like going to a public bathhouse, seeing people naked, and then being surprised – the sign says no surprises! Secondly, there were no facilities whatsoever. It's one thing not to have disposable slippers for adults, but they didn't even have them for kids, only adult-sized ones. My child was clattering around in oversized slippers. If they don't cater to children, they should state that they don't accept kids. As for disposable skincare products, razors, and combs, forget about it, definitely none of those. Although my son said this was the worst hotel we've ever booked, I don't think it's that bad. The large public bath was quite comfortable. I hope the owner improves things."

"The hotel is within walking distance to Omicho Market, which is very convenient. The seafood at Omicho Market is incredibly fresh. In the past, I mostly saw Asian faces, but this time I noticed many Westerners enjoying seafood and beer outside. The hotel's breakfast is also excellent, with a wide variety of options."

Welcomed by very friendly staff. Luggage Train were all organised in room after check in. Provided with options on room cleaning services. Free sake tasting, and tea in the evening is a plus. Good onsen areas. They even help me with my Yukata. Gifted us some free postcards, and also had a little birthday surprise gift in the room. Great location too.

I stayed for one nights. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were all very friendly and made for a very comfortable stay. They also gave me detailed information about recommended restaurants in the area. The large public bath was also very spacious, and from the open-air bath I could see the mountain stream through the trees. The sound of the water and the clear air were truly soothing. I expect the cold weather will continue in Yamanaka Onsen for the foreseeable future, so please take care of yourselves, and I hope all the staff members take good care of themselves.

i could hear the traffic clearly on the 3rd floor, so they moved me to the 12th floor where it was mostly quiet. there was an electrical buzzing sound coming from the bathroom, i thought it was the lightbulb, but when i got in the shower it sounded like it emanated from the vent. i shut the bathroom door and it was almost inaudible from bed so i was able to sleep. definitely quieter than most of the japanese hotels i've experienced in this price range. very clean. very polite staff. free water machine on every floor (i think). free coffee in the lobby. convenience stores nearby. expensive grocery store ~200 meters. regular grocery stores are a bus ride away, so it made more sense to me to get the buffet. breakfast costs 1800yen when paying in-person, but when adding it on trip.com it was less of an increase in cost. it was disappointing because there were pictures of different kinds of fish online and on the picture in the hotel lobby, but they didn't have fish as seen kin the pictures. i still purchased the breakfast when i extended my stay because they had eggs, good vegetables, and ice cream. the fruit was in syrup so i'm guessing it was from a can. orange juice was from a carton. i didn't see any meat in the curry, just potatoes. overall, mostly cheap, but with a few tasty items of quality. only 2 washing machines and they also dry the clothes so it takes ~2 hours. 400-600 yen for washing and drying. it dispenses detergent automatically, but the detergent was insufficient so i added my own and rewashed it; therefore, i was unfortunately hogging 1 of the 2 machines for several hours. plus it cost me well over 1000 yen.

I highly recommend this hotel room type if you have a big family. The room is spacious with comfortable beds and a small dining area. The location is great, it is just above the train station and there are shopping malls and many restaurants around. If you have your own car, parking is easy and cheap. Free drinks are available at the lobby which offers soft drinks, coffee, wine, beer and sake, kids and adults are pleased with it. I will definitely come back next time if I visit Kanazawa.

As expected from a well-established hotel! The front desk service was incredibly welcoming. The hotel itself is grand and upscale, with spacious and bright rooms. It truly lives up to its reputation as the tallest building in Hokuriku, offering excellent views from the room. I didn't get to try breakfast, but the hotel boasts 7 restaurants and a sky bar, which says it all. Every service you could think of is available. It's also very close to Kanazawa Station; you can reach the station entirely via an underground passage, so no need to worry about rain or sun! The room amenities are all-inclusive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kanazawa!

This hotel offers excellent value for money; it's very upscale and clean. The room with an extra bed comfortably accommodates three people, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, so no one has to fight for the bathroom. If you're driving, there's a dedicated parking lot next door for 1,000 yen per night. A skywalk connects the parking lot to the hotel's 3rd floor, making access very convenient. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Kanazawa.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. It was a pleasant experience. Transportation: I took the train from Komatsu Station to Kaga Onsen Station. I had arranged a shuttle service with the hotel via email in advance. You just need to wait at the shuttle bus stop. There are many different shuttle buses for various onsen hotels. The ride to the hotel takes about 20 minutes. Hotel Environment and Room: The hotel's decor feels very nice, full of Japanese style. There's a foot bath in the lobby on the first floor that you can enjoy anytime. Also, the lobby offers free coffee, tea, and snacks (pudding in the evening) at different times. Before having coffee, you can choose a coffee cup you like. The room had a tatami mat and offered views of the clear mountain stream nearby. The weather wasn't good during my stay, so I just stayed in the room and didn't explore the surroundings. Food: Dinner was very abundant and filling, with very fresh seafood. Breakfast mainly consisted of porridge or rice with some small side dishes. Onsen: The baths switch genders in the early morning. One side has an indoor + outdoor bath, and the other has an indoor + semi-outdoor bath. Both are worth experiencing and are very therapeutic! Afterward, there are free small ice pops in four flavors. Additionally, hotel guests can book a private bath once for free, with three options, but they are a bit small. Oh, and the hotel offers so many yukata choices! It's fantastic, wearing them for photos was incredibly satisfying!

Both are good. There's a Japanese restaurant on the second floor that's delicious and reasonably priced—highly recommended. Kenrokuen Garden is right across the street, and the art museum is also nearby, all within walking distance. There are also buses nearby that go to Kanazawa Station, which is very convenient.
