"A fantastic hotel!
1. Excellent location: Famous attractions like the Quadrilateral Square (crossroads), the Pretoria Fountain, and the Admiral's Abbey are right outside the door. The theater, palace, and cathedral are a 6-7 minute walk away. It's also situated in a bustling commercial area, making shopping and dining very convenient.
2. Excellent service: The staff are patient and welcoming, remembering every guest's needs and requests. The hotel restaurant offers a rich and delicious selection, and you can even make your own cannoli for breakfast!
3. Exquisite décor: Full of European luxury, the separate lobby is elegant and classic, and a tea break area is provided. Multiple elevators are available for easy access, and there is a wheelchair accessible. The rooms are fully equipped, and there's a private balcony for relaxation.

"Fantastic location with direct views of the sea and the Faraglioni of Acitrezza. Check-in was fast, courteous, and professional. The room was a bit small with a view of an internal wall. The bathroom was designed for disabled access, so the shower was a wet room with no tray and an old-fashioned curtain. Breakfast was very comprehensive, offering both sweet and savory options. It's a shame there's no reserved parking; you're forced to look for street parking in the small town center, which isn't easy, and all spots are paid until 2:00 AM."

"This was, without a doubt, the best place we stayed during our entire trip. While the room and bathroom were cozy, it hardly mattered because everything else was simply magnificent. The location is perfect—tucked away on a quiet street in the heart of the beautiful old district of Ragusa Ibla.
The owner was one of the kindest and most helpful people we've ever met, always ready with useful information. The shared spaces are an absolute dream; the jacuzzi is perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring, and the Zen pool is a wonderfully tranquil spot to relax in the afternoon.

"This place is located in the core area of Lagusa. After opening the balcony, the night view is particularly beautiful. Basically, it is the most beautiful one that can be photographed. GGuest UserThe room has an unbeatable sea view, facing the sea with flowers blooming in spring, and you can also see the misty Mount Etna in the distance. The hotel is halfway up the mountain. It is a bit expensive to take a taxi from the train station to the mountain for 25 euros. Young people without large luggage can try hiking or taking the bus. The uncle at the front desk is very friendly. The sleeping bag left in the room by my companion was immediately delivered. I stayed for two nights. It is suitable for a daze vacation

AAurora PietrosantiMy companion and I wanted to give a trip to Sicilia, Palermo, Agrigento and Catania. At Agrigento was impossible not to go to see the Valle dei Templi, so we chose this hotel, we were enthusiastic about all the points, the structure is excellent but perhaps the people working on it are the most, They were very kind and very friendly.They knew to answer any question with expertise, and then the dinner, which I could say, great, I didn't imagine the restaurant of a hotel was like that!
The care in the pieces served is certainly 10, they have a cook or cook beyond any expectation, I repeat not only in cooking, but in serving, advising, telling and explaining the pieces, It was not only good food but also aware that the gentlemen of the servicemen had been able to tell simple foods.
In the future we will come back to you

We booked Mia Terra expecting a hotel — but it turned out to be more of a one-man bed and breakfast. From the start, nothing went smoothly. We had decided to take up the host’s offer of an airport shuttle (not cheap), as one of us only had one evening in Palermo and every minute counted. The shuttle arrived 15 minutes late, and when we finally reached the property, no one was there to check us in, causing yet another delay — even though the host had personally arranged our transport and knew our arrival time. The host then offered excuses that didn’t line up with the shuttle driver’s story (which btw, the driver didn’t even know our destination — we had to guide him — and only accepted cash, which we weren’t told in advance.)
Check-in was confusing and disorganized. Despite several text messages from the host to confirm our room setup (which should have been clear from the booking), he had still assigned the wrong rooms and once again found excuses, incorrectly blaming the booking platform. When we asked him to fix it, he was reluctant but eventually agreed — behaving as if he were doing us a favor — though he did offer free breakfast as compensation, which we didn’t need.
Since there is no staff at the property. The host promised to respond to messages “within minutes,” yet replies often took hours. The whole experience felt like a single person trying to run a hotel alone — and it shows.
To be fair, the rooms were clean and comfortable, although in one of them, the shower faced the bedroom through a glass wall, so you had to shower in the dark for privacy.
Overall, the service and professionalism fell far short of hotel standards. If you’re expecting the reliability of an actual hotel, look elsewhere.

We loved it from the very first minute that we walked in! 🥰
It has a very playful and colorful ambience and lots of light! We were welcomed super friendly by Giovanna, had a very nice chat, and were helped with the parking that turned out to be quite convenient and almost right in front of the Hotel entrance with the use of an App that Giovanna recommended us to download. Giovanna also gave us a great recommendation for dining which we followed the next day and were very happy with.
Our room was beautiful and super clean as was the bathroom (sorry no pics) and the view from the balcony was as you can see on picture #2 & 3.
The tree on the left was fantastic! 🌳
And on the left side behind the tree there was a Café that had the best coffee granita we had during our stay on Sicily! 😋
We spent two nights at La Chicca. The breakfast place was super stylish - you can see on the picture, and the breakfast itself was simple, yet very typical for a Sicilian breakfast and completely satisfying. Definitely made us happy as well! I like it when there are fruits and eggs and yoghurt as well ...
After the first night, we took the ferry to Lipari, one of the Eolian Islands. It was an amazing day! In the evening, after a delicious dinner at Ristorante Panzakina - Giovanna's recommendation - we returned to the hotel, had a fun and long evening chat with lovely Giovanna, and were invited to have a Grappa together ... A perfect day! Actually, two perfect days at La Chicca in Milazzo on Sicily! ❤️

The breakfast was modest but the coffee was delicious. 12 minutes to the airport. Open 24 hours. I am very satisfied. This place probably benefits in the summer, during the season. Nice infrastructure. Cottages in a wooded area, sandy beach, parking, 24-hour service. Just go there.

AAntonioOverlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.
Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice.
The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them.
This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Very inviting entrance area, nice breakfast place, comfy room, practical bathroom, ... Everything was super new, super clean, the towels smelled goooooood, ... We also had a parking place outside in the courtyard (sorry, again forgot the pix 🙃)
Even a bubbly welcome mini bottle 🍾 with a pop! was waiting for us in the fridge and two champagne glasses 🥂 on the table!
But I must say, the best was Alberto, the owner!!! He amazed us! He was super SUUUUPER kind and so warm-hearted and helpful ... Unbelievable! He sent us a list via WhatsApp of the most important things to see in the area, how to get there, where to eat, where to park in case the car was needed to get somewhere (which was useful the next day when we went to discover the Valley of Temples) ... The list was very well-prepared, everything was thought of, and we used it right away to choose our dinner place and the place for our ice cream 🍨 afterwards ... Alberto even had a Spotify list of more than 87 hours of music for the guests to enjoy! What a grand idea! And good music taste ... 🎶
Next morning, it was the breakfast that took our breaths - all kinds of Sicilian specialties arranged beautifully and with love (here I did not forget to take pictures!) - it was very delicious and we wished to have had space for more food ... 😂

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic—just a 16-minute walk from the train station and about 15-20 minutes on foot to the island’s main attractions.

I had a mostly pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—just a **16-minute walk from the train station** and **15-20 minutes to the island’s main attractions**.
The room itself was **spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated**, with the added benefit of being **close to the sea** and featuring **two balconies**. The staff were also **very friendly and helpful**, which enhanced our experience.
