"Our first stop in Croatia was Zagreb, and this hotel was perfectly located. It's right across from Ban Jelačić Square, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. The hotel entrance is on a pedestrian street, so you do have to pull your luggage for about three minutes, but it's totally worth it. I absolutely loved taking photos of the trams in the morning before heading to breakfast. And speaking of breakfast, it was really rich and satisfying, with exceptionally fragrant coffee. Enjoying that while watching people go by outside was such a pleasant start to the day!"

"The Esplanade Hotel scores big on location — it's perfectly situated and hard to beat for exploring the area on foot. The beds were genuinely comfortable and made for a restful night's sleep.
That said, the rest of the interior is showing its age. The furniture and furnishings are visibly worn and could use replacing. It doesn't ruin the stay, but it is noticeable and brings the overall experience down a notch.
Overall a solid choice if location and sleep quality are your priorities — just be aware that the room itself has seen better days."

"This room was perfect for my stay in Zagreb. The location is within walking distance of everything you want to see in the city. The room is clean and even has a stove and all kitchen utensils in case you want to eat on some days you’re there. On the last day, we went to the National Park and had nowhere to store our baggage the guy at the front desk held our stuff till 8 pm and worked extra so we could come to pick them up!! Great sat highly recommended!!"

"Hotel is located conveniently, especially if traveling by car. When I arrived, while taking a shower I realized that the bath drain was clogged and had to clean it myself (as I was already soaking wet). Obviously, clearing out other people's hairs wasn't my idea of a well maintained bath in a 4-star hotel so I complained at the reception. They apologised, but it was all a bit too late. In general, the shower could use some TLC as the toiletry shelf inside the shower was not clean as well (had some mold on it). Other then that, the room was adequate, and the location of the hotel allows for a good sleep, even with windows open as it is far enough from busy streets.
Breakfast was mediocre - croissants were semi-baked, almost raw inside and definitely just baked to finish from frozen (not freshly made in hotel bakery). The selection of food was meh, but it wasn't horrible."

"Fantastic location. Sauna is available to book for free for private use. The best thing was the massage - it was really good. The only issue was the air condition which was changed to heating during the time we visited (summer transitioning to autumn) so it was a little warm at night. Unless you took the garden facing room, the road/ trams noises will be uncomfortable to leave the windows open through the night. Having said, the staff service were good."

Rooms are well laid out (even if they are small). Bathroom was beautiful for a hotel this size and price point. Even had a little fridge in the room.
Would strongly recommend this hotel for value and comfort"

"The room was bright and airy with simple, practical furnishings. The bathroom was also quite spacious. It had a large balcony, but the door was locked. Given that a main road runs just below, there's probably a good reason for that.
Breakfast and dinner were included. Dinner was mediocre, not much variety, and drinks had to be ordered separately. However, there was one soup, a rich cauliflower soup, which was a local specialty.
Breakfast was excellent and very plentiful."

GGuest UserI chose a single room, the one next to the elevator. It was quite small; just a bed and a small bathroom were enough to fill it up. However, it was very new, and the facilities were actually quite good.
The breakfast was basic, but filling.
The location is a bit far from the old town; it's about a five-minute walk to the tram stop!

GGuest UserThe hotel is right in the city center, just a 10-minute walk from the University of Zagreb. You simply turn left out of the hotel entrance and walk straight. There are many historic buildings nearby, making it a great area for a stroll. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but the room size is decent, with enough space left after opening two 28-inch suitcases.

GGuest UserIf you need a need an overnight near the airport, the Dream Hotel is perfect. This is a basic hotel with clean rooms, on site restaurant, AND dedicated FREE airport shuttle electric vans.
Hotel staff were extremely attentive and friendly to us and they spoke nearly flawless english.
We made our room reservation 6+ months in advance and simply kept in touch via email. The hotel gave us very clear instructions how to call for the shuttle at the airport.
We didn’t have cell service, so we used email to request pickup and it only took about 15 minutes for the van to meet us. The hotel was less than 10 minutes from the airport.
Per their instructions, upon room check in, we reserved the time we needed a shuttle ride back to the airport. 4am is their first shuttle departure and the hotel was prompt with their shuttle departure time.
Lastly, we were completely surprised by their very reasonably priced wide ranging restaurant menu. Beware, portion sizes are huge!
This hotel and staff served us a very filling dinner, gave us a satisfactory room, and provided totally uneventful free shuttle from and airport.
Was very happy we chose this hotel.

NNina ThailandThe young lady receptionist was quite rude in a way she was trying to say that the luggage room has limited space. She kept saying that repeatedly with hard tonal voice. I think she should be trained how to give a sincere service to all guests, without race discrimination. Otherwise, the rest of staff team are nice and helpful. Room is nice, clean, and modern. There’s a supermarket (Lidle) nearby.

VVolcanoTRTXFrom “A to Z”, this hotel is simply incredible: the kindness of the front desk staff, the comfort of the room, the cleanliness of the property, the deliciousness of the breakfast, the exemplary customer service mindset, etc. I especially thank Ms. Marina to cut my watermelon and serve it on a plate and the 4th floor cleaning lady to help me with my luggages. 110% RECOMMENDED!!
