"When we arrived all the available car parking was full and we ended up parking in the next street outside someone's house. The room was compact which we expected as we had booked a small room. Check in was very quick and information was given to us regarding the hotel and breakfast. Our room was very clean, if a little dated. When we switched on the TV it would not screen any programs. We phoned reception and they sent someone within five minutes to sort out the problem which turned out to be a fault with the aerial cable.
Breakfast was well organised and the service and food quality and selection was good.
Overall the hotel was convenient and ideal for us on a one night stay on our way back from the Hebrides and we would certainly stay here again if we do the same journey in the future"

"I stayed here for one night on both the outbound and return journeys, using it as a stopover to Portree. The location is excellent, close to the bus station, making it convenient for shopping and sightseeing.
The staff were incredibly kind and wonderful!
The breakfast area had plenty of tables and counter space, and the menu was extensive and delicious, including fruits, bread, ham, sausages, eggs, cheese, haggis, juice, and coffee.
It was a comfortable stay, so if I ever come to Inverness again, I will definitely choose this hotel. I highly recommend B&B Hotel Inverness to anyone considering a stay in Inverness."

"The hotel is a short walk from the town.The front of the hotel is well presented with nice gardens.The bar and restaurant are nice and well presented too. The staff are very friendly ,hard working and helpful. The breakfast is ample, we thought the evening meal was nice but expensive for what you got. Our room was a bit worn, could have done with a bit of a touch up.The bed had been well used and could have done with replacing. The bedding and towels where always clean.The room service is on a request basis with a card on the door request. All in all we had a nice stay."

"This was an impromptu booking for accommodation in the Scottish Highlands, located near a small town off a main road. The surroundings were very quiet, with forests all around. There was also a dinosaur-themed park and a swimming pool, making it a local holiday resort.
The single room was quite small, just a single bed, a small desk, and a bathroom where it was a bit difficult to turn around. However, the price was definitely reasonable, quite cheap."

The Glenmhor is a good hotel, well appointed and in a very convenient location. Staff are friendly and while the breakfast is not the best, it is adequate. When I visited the food was not hot and only scrambled egg was on offer.
Here's the main gripe. BEFORE BOOKING READ THE SMALL PRINT. If you are driving you will pay an extra £12 per night for the privilege of using the hotel car park which is not secure and open to the public.
The cost is simple scandalous and blatant gouging. The very helpful reception staff pointed out that guests actually have a discounted rate! Umm? 🤔 Neither is it reasonable to blame outsourcing of the carpark to a contractor; the car park belongs to the hotelier! 😠
After discovering that another nearby hotel (The Craigmonie) had recently started charging £6/night, I decided not to use it again out of principle. Such charges for guests already paying exorbitant room rates is nothing short of daylight (or rather, night-time) robbery.
I travel through Inverness frequently but I will not use the Glenmhor again, out of principle. Inverness hoteliers have simply become greedy. For an overnight bed, either go budget (Travelodge) or look outside of the city."

"A big villa, the room is really small, the bathroom is so small that it is difficult to turn around, but it is clean and hygienic, the decoration is warm and comfortable, dinner has to be taken a few kilometers away by shuttle bus, breakfast is in the hotel, it is relatively simple, the level of B&B, more than 3000 room rate in Sky Island can only be like this"

"A resort hotel with a very beautiful scenery. At least in the UK, there are very few hotels that provide slippers and some disposable items. This is one of them. The hotel is located on the edge of Loch Ness. When you arrive at the hotel, the window of the room faces Loch Ness directly, and the scenery is very good. The interior of the hotel is very old British decoration. Every detail is very elegant. The waiter is also very enthusiastic and even helped us take the box to the room. The hotel is very close to Inverness. It only takes less than half an hour to drive to the city center."

"The hotel is from 1856 so it isn’t going to be ticking all your modern hotel boxes. It was clean, well presented and the staircase (that reportedly inspired Thomas’s Andrew’s design of the Titanic staircase) is a feature to behold. Our room was a good size, had comfortable twin beds and a good shower and bath. If you want to stay in a convenient location directly beside the train station and a stones throw from the bus station and local amenities, then this is well worth a look. It is very much like stepping back in time."

"Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel in good location to access Skye . Lounge bar friendly but closed promptly ! at 10.30 each evening so no night caps . Breakfasts were average - poor limited choice of cereals and fruits , hot food lukewarm . We had booked the hotel as it stated dog friendly and paid the additional £10 per night , décor was shabby and room small , no fridge or cooler available ,clearly in the more rundown part of the hotel.. Our very small dog was not allowed in the dining areas nor were we allowed to take food to bar area for breakfast and were asked to leave dog in bedroom ? dog friendly ."

I asked for a quiet room and was placed on 1st floor however in a room closest to the main road with lots of traffic noise and there was construction going on nearby with constant drilling and noise until 4am so I never managed to sleep for most of the night, meaning that I couldn’t get up early to use the facilities.
It’s not the staffs fault, but just be careful when booking.

Guest UserOn arrival we were met with a very run down looking hotel, which needed a fresh coat of paint and the missing letters from the hotel name replaced. However, the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and food in the bar was very good. Lovely swimming pool, which was an added bonus.
Our room was however small and dark, with low lighting and we hardly had any channels on our tv due to poor signal. There is no lift at the hotel so not ideal for anyone with health issues.
This was our most expensive hotel during our mini tour of Scotland and definitely our worst room

The hotel is situated some 20 KM south of Forth William in a small village, located at the loch with views across the water.
The rooms are large and comfortable and clean but not modern, the hotel has a restaurant and pub. I used a room in the main building there are also pods outside near the water.
Was disappointed that the London like rate did not include breakfast, if you charge £285 per night in the country side I would expect breakfast.

The hotel was easy to find, located right by the main road. The rooms were quite small, and with luggage, the space felt a bit tight. However, there was a small outdoor balcony with a table and two chairs, which provided a nice spot to sit and eat.
The rooms looked modern and recently renovated. The bathroom was well-designed, featuring sleek black tiles and gold fixtures, and the hot water worked perfectly. One of the best features of the room was the separate sink area, along with a microwave and fridge. This was especially convenient for heating up food or enjoying ready-to-eat meals from the nearby Aldi if you’re too tired to head out. The room also came with a kettle, coffee, tea, and even a chocolate wafer as a thoughtful welcome touch.
There is no reception desk at this hotel, so it’s important to have internet access as check-in is fully digital. You’ll receive your room number via email just before your arrival. Make sure to complete the online pre-check-in to confirm your stay and receive further instructions.
Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient one-night stay.

Guest UserIm absolutely disappointed in the end. They owe me 17,95£ for a canceled whole breakfast. The man on the reception couldn’t give it back to me and they left him alone without any help… He even wanted to charge me 23£ instead. It was absolutely awful. I needed to leave for my flight so in total I got no money back. The Rooms are not well cleaned and even hair was in my bed. I want my money back! This is not over yet.

Himani NailwalI had a good time here in hotel. The hotel has everything mentioned in it. The room & bathroom was clean and nice. Had powerfull hot water in the shower. Staff were helpful. Very less hotel in this area so it was good one. Food looked like they brought it from outside. It was not that much good. I prefered to eat outside.
