"After much deliberation, I chose the voco® Leicester. Having always wanted to try the voco® in Nanjing but never getting the chance to visit, I jumped at the opportunity when I saw the voco® in Leicester at such a great price.
The hotel is right next to the University of Leicester, and a 10-minute walk south leads to a huge Morrison's supermarket.
I was assigned a corner room with a nice view. The layout was a bit unique, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. The bathroom amenities were much better than those at Holiday Inn Express; I really loved the scent."

"Room was clean enough, but had some black mould in the windows and also in the kettle! Bed was super comfortable.
Shower was ok, but wasn't exactly ”powerful”.
The room had a strange set of windows that looked into the bedroom...with no way of closing or obscuring then.
Heating controls didn't seem to work.
The window did not open so it was difficult to get fresh air."

"This is the most beautiful old hotel in Leicester, and I have a strong sentimental attachment to it, but it clearly makes its money through hiring the glorious ballroom out for corporate events at the expense of anyone actually staying there.
I had asked for a quiet room but was placed at the front which is already noisy due to the busy street, and then was not warned that a ridiculously, horribly loud function was taking place right below me in the hotel. It was like trying to sleep above a particularly nasty nightclub playing diabolical music. There were drunken corporate goons falling in and out of the door and I was treated very disrespectfully by the receptionist when I finally went downstairs to complain near to midnight.
Guests are clearly not important. I strongly recommend calling before you book to see if this is going to happen on the dates you choose. I was in town for an extremely important job and arrived tired and late due to being kept awake for hours."

The jacuzzi was our favourite, the water temperature wS like having a nice very hot bath! It was amazing. It was the best one I've seen ever. Also it was a very good size.. The swimming pool was far too cold for me to go in. I'm a cancer patient and I can't go in cold water. That was my only negative point.bi would have loved to go for a swim. The steam room and sauna were good. I also noticed there was a good gym but I didn't go there.
There was A lovely furnished quiet room with plenty of sofas and coffee tables around to relax or work. Also a computer with Internet and a printer for our use which was really good for working guests. I booked this hotel overnight stay for my mum and myself as a little relaxing getaway and it was perfect. The car parking is not a problem at all.
We will definitely be booking this in the future fir jy whole family as we really enjoyed it."

"This hotel was the best went to check in had booked double room got upgraded to a family room and as soon as we got to the room we had trouble finding out how to open the door with the card. Yes me and my mum had 1 of them Richard Gere from Pretty Woman moments haha but once got in the room we was impressed was so clean and tidy it had a mini fridge under the TV everything was accessible staff was so kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others who was passing through the area to stop was no noise from the motorway traffic and eateries on the motorway services was right next door. Didnt book in for breakfast as was leaving early next morning. 20/10 top marks very happy customer. Big shout out to tariek"

"Check in was easy and the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and cool. Lovely bathroom with quality shower gel and shampoo provided. I had several hours to myself so I made use of the gym, great equipment and all very clean. Good swimming area, very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Enjoyed the sauna and steam room. Had curry in the bar which I thought was overpriced. We had a great, comfortable night’s sleep followed by a delicious breakfast with lots of choice."

"Brilliant service. Infact on this app i paid for 2 adults breakfast at time of booking but when i got to the hotel and checked in they confirmed that i actually paid for 4 adults!!! Other than that hotel room superb, clean and quite spacious. Would book again. Full retail park across the road."

Stayed in the bar for a quick drink before going to the room and the bar and restaurant was clean, warm and inviting. Was nice to see it being used by others staying at the hotel for evening meal.
Lift wasn’t working but the stairs to my floor wasn’t an issue, I travelled light. The room I booked was a double room, which was clean and comfortable for the one night I stayed. Perfect location by the station and close enough to the shops and bars in the city itself."

Stayed in the bar for a quick drink before going to the room and the bar and restaurant was clean, warm and inviting. Was nice to see it being used by others staying at the hotel for evening meal.
Lift wasn’t working but the stairs to my floor wasn’t an issue, I travelled light. The room I booked was a double room, which was clean and comfortable for the one night I stayed. Perfect location by the station and close enough to the shops and bars in the city itself.

The hotel was clean as was our room. The only thing was when we arrived and went to our room it was very cold. On phoning reception they told us how to put the heating on, when I asked about why it wasn’t on they said because of safety concerns. As it was we went out leaving the heater on, but if we had been a few hours later then we would have had to go to bed in a very cold room.
So that wasn’t good! We didn’t use any of the facilities, so can’t really comment on this.

The location is fantastic! 10 minute walking distance to the theatres and shopping areas.
The facade is clean and appealing and on entering the building, the bar/restaurant area really provides a wow factor.
I had a double room which were two single beds pushed together, so there was no room to stretch out.
The kitchenette doesn't come with washing up liquid or a sponge, so I was a little confused as to how I was supposed to clean up.
The toilet was lovely, but having lifted the toilet seat, the toilet bowl was filled with yellow liquid. Easily solved with flushing.
The shower was glorious I didn't want to get out.
The rooms are not sound proofed so if you are a light sleeper like me, make sure you take your ear plugs.
On the whole I paid £80 for the room on Trip, other sites were charging £140 so I do think I got a good deal. I paid for what I got.

Guest UserTo customer service. My partner and l stayed at the Bosworth Hall hotel whilst travelling north for an overnight stay to break our journey and get refreshed to continue our journey. Sadly although the staff were amicable and the site was good we got very little sleep as there was hard noise through the night and early morning. This was acceptable but the bathroom facilities were unacceptable. There was very little water pressure so we could not shower and when inspected the pipe had obviously been faulty and leaking prior to our visit but the pipe had been wrapped with electrical insulation tape and the pressure reduced so it didn,t blow the tape off when used. It was a poor advert for a high class hotel. I attach a photo of the pipe. Also l expect you to make recompense to me. Regards Jacob Thomlinson.

Dejan SkaljacThe value is incredible. Includes breakkie. They are less than a mile away from the EMA airport terminal. Very straightforward to get to. Easy peezy check in . Took no more than half a minute , or thereabouts. We had to stay near the airport as we had a red-eye flight to the Canaries at 5.50am . Brilliant service - they make their breakfast available from 4am. Spacious rooms with all the mod-cons. Not a bad word to say about this establishment. ✅✔️☑️

Breakfast was about average for a conference hotel, although the drinks machine was broken so hot water jugs were provided as an alternative, tea was cold! My room had windows that could not be opened, very poor water pressure in the shower water pressure so took ages to wash my hair. The TV remote was missing and the TV was a cheap hair that wouldn't stand up properly and the sound was awful. It was a twin room with only 1 bedside LED light which was quite dark. I arrived with not enough time yo order dinner. When I asked about other nearby restaurants, the receptionist struggled to provide much help. All in all a reasonable hotel for a 1 night stop over but has a generally cheap feel about it. I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay.
