"Finally got to stay at my dream desert hotel, Tengol. The rammed-earth houses are quietly nestled among the sand dunes. Sitting by the window and gazing out at the endless desert instantly brought a sense of inner peace.
Both the rooms and public areas of the hotel have a great vibe. Having a drink in the lounge while the desert breeze blows by makes you forget the hustle and bustle of daily life for a while. The evening fire show and stargazing activities were particularly impressive.
It can definitely be considered a trip full of wonderful experiences~"

"We chose the Kempinski in Yinchuan, and the location is excellent. Across the road are the Ningxia Museum, the Municipal People's Government, the Science and Technology Museum, and the International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Daisy checked us in, upgraded our room type, and gave us access to the executive lounge, making the experience truly fantastic.
We encountered a small issue with the room, and Daisy resolved it very quickly.
The breakfast selection was rich and varied. The executive lounge was excellent; the afternoon tea biscuits were delicious, and the dinner featured a carefully curated menu with comprehensive nutritional elements, both visually appealing and tasty.
Staff in all departments were very responsible, and housekeeping service was also great.
I would definitely recommend it to family and friends."

"The biggest surprise of my trip to Zhongwei was staying at the Xiang Tengger Desert Hotel. Deep in the Tengger Desert, far from the hustle and bustle, the dedicated shuttle service made check-in hassle-free, saving us the trouble of driving into the sand ourselves. The rooms were clean and dry, which is quite rare for a desert environment, and the facilities exceeded our expectations. During the day, we enjoyed playing on the sand dunes, with plenty of activities like sandboarding and other desert adventures that kept the kids entertained. In the evening, we waited for the stunning desert sunset, and after dark, there was a bonfire party and fireworks. Looking up, we could see the brilliant Milky Way – the atmosphere was absolutely incredible. The staff were warm and attentive, quickly resolving any issues we had. Overall, it perfectly blended wilderness adventure with comfort, making it ideal for a family trip. If I ever return to the Zhongwei desert, I'll definitely stay here again."

"I wholeheartedly recommend this desert hotel, it's perfect for family trips! The experience was truly outstanding.
The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location is superb, right on the edge of the vast desert. In the afternoons, we could easily climb sand dunes and watch the sunset. My kids spent every day playing happily in the sand, they didn't want to leave.
After checking in, the hotel added us to an exclusive WeChat group, which made it super convenient for daily inquiries and requests. I have to specifically praise their heartwarming service: I accidentally lost my DJI Pocket 3 while out and about. I was already disheartened and about to give up, but I decided to ask in the group. To my surprise, someone had found it quickly! The staff immediately secured it and personally delivered it to me. The joy of getting it back was indescribable. Their honesty and efficiency were truly commendable, giving us a complete sense of security.
The restaurant's food exceeded our expectations; the home-style dishes were perfectly to our taste. My child specifically asked for stir-fried tomato and eggs for two consecutive days, and finished every single bite, leaving no leftovers. The hotel offers a wide range of desert activities. We tried the Bombardier ATV, and the slight sensation of weightlessness was just right – thrilling yet fun. The various desert recreational activities kept us busy and content throughout our stay.
Everything, from the environment, dining, and activities to the attentive service, was impeccable."

"My stay at Anmo Hotel far exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless and well-equipped. From the window, I could see the Helan Mountains, with the main peak of WoFo Mountain visible right from my bed. The huge terrace, combined with the sweet grape scent in the room, immediately immersed me in a serene, mountainous atmosphere.
The hotel was exceptionally quiet. At night, I could gaze at the starry sky, and in the morning, wake up to the sound of birds. It's located right next to the Turandot Wine Town, with wine elements everywhere. I tried their Turandot Marselan Dry Red [Warm], which had rich fruit aromas intertwined with violet floral notes – a single sip brought the terroir of the eastern foothills of Helan Mountain to life.
During my visit, I unexpectedly saw a white Zhangxue motorcycle whiz by, which was a delightful surprise on my journey. The concierge service was attentive and thoughtful; they approached me from a distance to help with my luggage to the room and meticulously explained the in-room facilities. When I encountered them later, they even proactively guided me to the garage. The front desk check-in was efficient and friendly.
Mountain breezes, fine wine, and a good night's sleep – I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Helan Mountain."

"The hotel offers a shuttle service from the Time and Space Gate, which was excellent. Three days before arrival, staff proactively called and added me on WeChat to check for any needs. The hotel itself is incredibly fun, mostly catering to families with children. There are various activities from morning to night, perfect for kids. The room was a bit old and small, but the outstanding service more than made up for it. Stepping outside, you're right in the desert. You can enjoy a sunrise or sunset over the desert from your balcony with a cup of tea. Each room comes with sand-digging toys and unlimited sandboards for sand-sliding. Inside the room, there's a generous supply of fruit, various drinks, yogurt, biscuits, and nuts. The food is also great, with breakfast, dinner, and even a late-night snack provided – so much so that I couldn't finish it all. I'd recommend skipping lunch, otherwise, you'll be eating too much in one day! The pool is unheated; I was the only one brave enough to swim in it (it's a semi-standard size). Make sure to visit the Stargazing Valley at night; I saw a sky full of stars like I've never seen before."

"This desert hotel completely exceeded expectations! Staying at the staggered peak to enjoy the whole desert secret, waiting for the sunset to shine soft light on the sky in the evening, the sand dunes were dyed orange by the sunset. At night, the bonfire was burning, the fireworks were blooming, and the vast galaxy was looking up. It was really shocking to see the stars with the naked eye! The room is clean and comfortable. It is rare to have such perfect facilities in the desert. The children directly let go of themselves to play in the sand and don't want to leave. The staff is intimate and thoughtful, and the whole experience is full! Come to Zhongwei Tengri's first choice, will come again next time!"

Guest UserAlthough the hotel is not particularly new, it has complete facilities and the surrounding environment is relatively good and quiet. The heating and air conditioning are sufficient, giving southerners a full sense of security. There are also many types of breakfast, and in order to avoid waste, they are very considerate and cut into small pieces. When breakfast is about to end, they will knock on the door of each room to ask if you have eaten breakfast. The service was very good and enthusiastic. The air conditioner was already on when I checked in. The lady at the front desk also helped to deliver the luggage to the room and explained the precautions very considerately.

I recently stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Yinchuan Glorious Center and had a wonderful experience. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Yinchuan, making it convenient for both business and leisure travelers.
**Service:** The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the team was very helpful in providing recommendations for local attractions.
**Rooms:** My room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, featuring modern decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee facilities as well.

Guest UserLovely hotel near Wanda Jinfeng mall, surrounded by many pharmacies. The fruit shop downstairs called 小任果 is one of the best fruit chains in Yinchuan with a huge offering of fruits and yoghurt and nuts. We bought these to bring along for our day trips out of Yinchuan. Its nice to stay at Jingfeng district as its quieter than drum tower area.
The lobby has snacks, fruit and drinks all day for guests. Coffee was super !
We used the complimentary washer dryer which is a fabulous amenity.
We appreciated the free pickup at the airport which we arranged 1 day prior by telephone booking from Shanghai. The reception and the breakfast counter staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The toiletries were all upmarket
If there is any con - its the plump cleaning lady at the 3rd floor. She appeared unhappy when we asked her to top up the bath wash when it was low and she forgot to top up. She just handed us a bottle to install ourselves. She also didnt wipe the control panel for the room unlike her colleague who does it when she is on duty so we can see our finger prints still on the glass after housekeeping.
Small issue though. Cos everything else about the hotel was great

HuniuerxiaoleI chose this hotel because of the free airport pickup and drop-off service, which was a decisive factor for me. The butler contacted us in advance and arranged the pickup, even sending us a small guide and restaurant recommendations, which were all very clear. The hotel environment is also excellent, the driver was very friendly, and the room was super comfortable. I do have a small suggestion though: there seemed to be too few trash cans. It would be much more convenient if the small tabletop bins were replaced with larger ones. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and there was also complimentary late-night congee available, so if you don't feel like going out in the evening, you can easily have a satisfying meal here. The surroundings of the hotel are also lovely; on a clear night, you can even enjoy moon gazing. Overall, I give my stay a full 5 stars.

With the high temperatures in Suzhou and Hangzhou, this is a great escape to the heat in the northwest, featuring a lovely guesthouse village. Nan'an is the largest guesthouse complex in the area, with 40 rooms out of a total of 100. This time, we stayed at Taojiaying West House, with a swimming pool in front and a farm/ranch/ranch in the back – very pleasant. The room details were also very well done, suitable for large families or groups of friends.
Both restaurants in the village are good for breakfast: 🌻Xiangke (more variety),
🍜Lao Wang Ji Breakfast & Midnight Canteen. Special praise to Nan'an's management team, including Da Yuan and her group; they communicated with us before our arrival and were very attentive. During our stay, our drone got stuck in a tree in the yard, and the management team helped us find a solution from evening until morning, finally fixing it with a tree trunk over ten meters long.
- Climb the Great Wall (five-minute climb to the top) for panoramic views of the Yellow River and the village.
- Feeding lambs, riding camels, milking goats.
I call it the Yellow River version of ”Wuzhen Village”; the entire village has an integrated design with a Mediterranean feel, perfect for photos.

Traveler DongLocation: The hotel is conveniently located near Yinchuan Municipal Government and Ningxia Museum, making it easy to access attractions and the train station. Its prime location is a definite plus. However, the hotel entrance is situated between two buildings, and many ride-sharing drivers get misdirected to the parking lot by their navigation, making it difficult for them to pick up guests. It's advisable to factor in extra time when booking a ride.
Room: This time, I used my points to upgrade to a Mountains and Rivers View room. The facilities are pretty similar to the standard rooms, but being on a higher floor offered a nice view of the Helan Mountains. Unfortunately, the window glass was very dirty, making it impossible to take good photos. I suggest cleaning them. Also, the air inlet cover on the handle of the hairdryer in the bathroom was missing, indicating that some facilities need prompt maintenance. The TV was quite old; it couldn't cast, and both the picture and sound quality were poor.
Food: The breakfast selection was rich and varied. However, some of the English translations for certain dishes were significantly flawed and need immediate correction. For dining out, Jin Feng Wanda Plaza is nearby. Alternatively, if you turn left twice after exiting the hotel, within 50 meters, there's a restaurant called 'Bai Xing Han Can' which offers a wide variety of dishes that cater well to Southern palates.

YouqingvankerThis trip to Ningxia, I specifically came to experience the winery culture, and this winery guesthouse I chose felt pretty good. The butler even arranged a tasting event, allowing us to deeply explore wine culture. It's truly pleasant at the foot of Helan Mountain in the summer.
Winery Tour · Wine Tasting: There were professionals explaining the wine production process, then they taught us how to blend wine hands-on, and we also learned about wine tasting. It was a really great experience.
A bottle of Xiaohuanxi Rosé (375ml): A complimentary bottle of rosé was provided in the room, which we opened and drank that evening. It had a nice flavor.

WitidaWe came to Yinchuan to visit Helan Rock painting mountain an Xixia tomb so we didn't see downtown that much. The hotel is in the center of the district, near the drum tower, surrounded by stores and restaurants, easily to find everything you need. The staff of the hotel didn't speak English but they're polite and kind. On the day we checked out there's a misunderstanding: they said we had to pay them while we had already prepaid via TRIP.com. We showed them the receipt in Chinese but they couldn't find it in their system. After 15 mins they let us go. We confusedly contacted TRIP customer service and were informed clearly there's no problem at all with our payment. TRIP dealt with the hotel themselves. I wouldn't complain the hotel about this since such thing could happen but I suggest you to always keep the receipt in Chinese and contact TRIP customer service suddenly and let them deal with the hotel, especially if your train is about to leave the station :)
