"I visited Harbin with my elderly mother during the National Day holiday. We arrived at the hotel at noon, and as I was wondering how to carry our luggage upstairs, a kind female staff member proactively offered to help. The next day, because we had booked a one-day tour and had an early departure, I was worried about missing breakfast. The front desk reassured me that bread and eggs would be available, which immediately put my mind at ease. Whenever I had questions, the young men and women at the front desk were always enthusiastic and helpful, making me feel completely at home. If I ever come back to Harbin, I'll definitely stay here again."

"While the service rendered and overall stay was acceptable, the room did not fully meet expectations. The in-room amenities appeared to be quite out dated, with a faulty shower head holder and a wash basin that showed visible signs of previous repairs. Additionally, the refrigerator provided was a mini fridge rather than the full-sized unit shown in the listing photo. The main door was also faulty, making it inconvenient to open and close throughout the stay. I hope these issues can be addressed to improve the experience for future guests.
Daily room service was not standardised, with daily request of room cleaning service, the garbage are not cleared on a daily basis. Cleaning standard are not uniform.
However, given the price and location it's still.a pleasant place to stay in if you're just looking for a clean and convenient place to stay in. "

"Right on the bustling Central Avenue, they arranged a coveted paid parking spot right in front of the hotel for us – a huge plus! As soon as we entered, we were offered afternoon tea at a cozy seating area while checking in. It was my first time enjoying such a lavish afternoon tea, with a wide variety of delicious items, absolutely no corners cut. They proactively upgraded our room, and the two 1.2-meter beds put together were large and super comfortable. We also received welcome fruit, a souvenir, and sleep-aid milk, all of excellent quality. The accommodation environment, facilities, and service were all fantastic. Getting around from Central Avenue was incredibly convenient. It was also easy to visit the Hongzhuan Street morning market. There are many famous Qiqihar BBQ and Russian restaurants nearby, making it perfect for dining and sightseeing."

"(This is absolutely, 100% genuine and I'm so touched!!!) My boyfriend and I traveled together, and we only booked this hotel in Xuexiang the night before, but it turned out to be the luckiest decision I made on this trip! Shortly after booking, they assigned us an incredibly enthusiastic butler!
From travel itinerary planning to basic hotel services, he was almost always online 24/7. He explained all the activities available in the scenic area, customized our route based on our preferences, helped us book all our tickets, and even arranged our return transportation to Harbin, considering the heavy snow might block roads. Ahhh, seriously, if we had any questions or didn't know where to go, we could ask him and he'd reply instantly! So cool!
When we got back to the hotel at 11 PM, the hotel restaurant was closed, and there was no delivery service in Xuexiang. But our butler first prepared frozen pears, frozen persimmons, and other fruits for us, and then went out into the snow, checking multiple stores to get us dinner 🥹 (He truly anticipated all our needs and proactively recommended more cost-effective options – he's seriously so genuine 🥹)
The hotel restaurant service was also excellent; the dishes were incredibly fresh and delicious!
Today was so much fun! We saw thick snow, snow mushrooms, visited **Qiang's house, watched Northeast Errenzhuan (a local folk art), rode snow tubes on Bangchui Mountain, participated in a 'down jacket disco,' and embraced under the fireworks!
So, I believe that the key to every trip is the encounters you make. We were so fortunate to encounter a hotel that provided such immense emotional value. This was a truly wonderful experience and a very romantic trip.

"This trip to the Arctic, choosing Yusongting is really the right choice! The building of the homestay is atmospheric and stylish, the lobby is decorated with white teak wood, full of northern forest characteristics, and the atmosphere is full. The room decoration is high-end and exquisite, clean and bright, the bedding is comfortable, the sound insulation is very good, and the quality of quiet rest is super high at night. The yard in front of the door is spacious and self-driving parking is very convenient.
The most surprising thing is the food that comes with the homestay! The authentic northeast flavor, the pot-wrapped meat is tender in the outside, the braised river fish is fresh and fragrant, a table of home-cooked dishes taste authentic, the ingredients are fresh, and the taste is online. The boss and his family are warm and hospitable, and the demand is responsive quickly and treats people really. The location is convenient to travel, no matter whether you rest or eat, you are very satisfied. This is the first choice for visiting Mohe Arctic Village. You will definitely continue to stay next time!"

"The room is spacious, clean, and a great value for money. It's located right on Central Street, directly across from the Madie'er Western Restaurant, and just a short walk to the Madie'er Ice Cream Parlor – super convenient if you're exploring Central Street. The subway station isn't very close, but taking a Didi (ride-hailing service) is fine. The hotel also offers free laundry and drying facilities. It's definitely a good choice for my next visit to Harbin. I saw many Russian and other international guests, so it seems to be well-regarded by foreign visitors too – very nice!"

I have to make this review before the winter ends because this homestay deserves all the guests coming to snow town and snow valley. The hospitality of the owners is beyond imagination, i’m not kidding! They have been extremely helpful in guiding us throughout our travel to snow town and snow valley. We communicate using a translator but it still feels like speaking with a friend. Don’t hesitate to ask questions regarding your trip and the activities that you want to do.
As for us, we booked a 3d/2n stay with them. They helped us maximize our itinerary as well. 2 nights before our tour, the owner gave us the number of bus driver. We paid the bus tickets in advance.
Day 1
8am-2pm - Bus from Harbin to Snow Town (Xuexiang). We left our luggages in the bus. Tickets bought at the entrance. Dont worry about prebooking. Play in Snow Town until 8pm.
8pm - Bus ride from Snow Town to Snow Valley. The bus driver already knows where to drop us. At the bus stop, we were fetched by car and brought to the inn (~2 min ride).
Day 2
9am-4pm Play at Guoxiongling Bear Ridge. For 400rmb/pax, we went up the mountain by snowmobile. We played banana boat drift, snowmobile, some went skiing and a super amazing view! There were also fun group activities! :)
Note: The owner gave us drone videos of ourselves and took pictures of us. He also brought his insta360 and gave us copies of group activities videos. You can also use this during the banana boat drift which would look awesome with insta360.
The owner is also a licensed ski instructed but my husband didn’t want to ski so there’s that. Haha.
We went down around 3pm by snowmobile. At 5pm, we ordered dinner from their restaurant. The Northeastern Fish Stew is amazing!! Try it and thank me later.
After dinner we did the hot water in ice trick for Free! We also had fun talking about traveling and sharing stories of our pets, while having tea, frozen persimmons, peach and sunflower seeds. 🥰
Day 3
Departure date. Bus leaves at 6am and 9am. They booked the bus for us back to harbin. I wish we could have stayed longer!
Room we stayed had a heated Kang bed. The floor had heating too. Toiletries are complete with indoor slippers. Breakfast serving is large! The room is clean, with water heater. On top of that, it’s 1/10th of the price of snow town accommodations. Snow village offers a unique experience away from the glittery lights and sounds of snow town. It is both peaceful and charming.

Zhangzhanger_We chose this hotel for our trip to Yabuli, and its location is fantastic. There are plenty of recreational activities right within the resort. Our stay was excellent; the room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was super comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was very efficient. The environment is quiet, and overall, it offers good value for money. Plus, the sightseeing cable car offers beautiful views, and the Rainbow Flying Carpet is exciting and fun! Highly recommend!

Facilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area.
Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting.
Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀
Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

Having stayed at hotels in both Xuexiang and Xuegu, this guesthouse in Xuegu is definitely the king of value for money! Let me tell you about its advantages:
1) Underfloor heating throughout the entire house. Every corner of the room was incredibly warm, which is super important in places like Xuegu and Xuexiang where nighttime temperatures can drop to minus twenty degrees Celsius.
2) The owner is such a warm, chatty, and responsible young woman. As soon as I arrived, she greeted me with a big handful of frozen pears and persimmons. The next day, when she took me up Xiongling (Bear Ridge), I accidentally dropped my gloves while taking photos and my hands were freezing stiff. Without a word, she gave me her own down gloves and endured the cold herself on the way down the mountain. It was truly touching!
As for the drawbacks, the room facilities are quite basic, but they do provide essential toiletries like toothbrushes, disposable towels, shower gel, etc. Besides lacking the unique advantage of snow mushroom houses, Xuegu is still great for playing in the snow and doesn't feel as overly commercialized as Xuexiang. If you're not specifically looking to check out the snow mushroom houses, you might want to consider guesthouses in Xuegu, haha.

Guest UserThe hotel's front desk service was incredibly welcoming, and they even gave us a small gift. We were very satisfied with our room and were also granted a late check-out. The service overall was excellent. They provided a complimentary afternoon tea, and on the second floor, there's a Russian restaurant and a 'tieguodun' (iron pot stew) place, plus they offered discount coupons. There are many great restaurants and attractions around the hotel, and Central Street is beautiful. It was a really great experience!

The hotel boasts a great location, fantastic restaurant, and warm, attentive service. The breakfast staff are exceptionally thoughtful with a strong sense of service, and the restaurant offers a comfortable environment and well-maintained facilities. It was my first time encountering a breakfast that extends until 12 PM. Not only do they serve standard fare, but they also feature internet-famous deep-fried rice cakes (youzhagao), frozen pears, and Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork), plus a complimentary 3D-printed yogurt from the restaurant. Bringing out-of-town friends here is an absolute face-saver! The restaurant service elevates the entire hotel experience to the next level—it goes beyond industry standards while truly reflecting Harbin's sincerity toward both locals and visitors! The hotel also incorporates thoughtful service into every single detail: from the souvenirs given to children at front desk check-out, to the complete set of bathroom amenities, even including a headband for female guests, a humidifier in the room, and an infant toilet and washbasin in the family room, which moms will absolutely love! All in all, Habsburg is one of the most impressive hotels I've ever stayed at—the kind of place you want to return to as soon as you leave. I believe it has reached international standards and I highly recommend it!

Every day since leaving Xinfu, I've been missing the sledding hill behind the lodge (it was free and unlimited!).
The owner even helps guests take photoshoots like 'splashing water into ice' (he took three amazing shots for me 😎) and 'glowing with colors.' He's an incredibly skilled photographer, and those pictures instantly elevated my social media game. They also organized a session where we all made candied hawthorns together. As an extrovert, being able to chat with everyone like that was just so enjoyable!
The owner also led the trip to Wusong Ridge, keeping us entertained, taking photos, and even teaching us how to ski along the way. As someone from the south, I truly got to experience the thrill of playing wildly in the snow!
And of course, the accommodation itself was very unique, with a traditional heated *kang* bed, ensuring a deep sleep until morning. Waking up to hot porridge in the morning was just heavenly!

Haiyan·SeasaltI've transited through Harbin multiple times, and this time I chose a new hotel to stay at, which offered a much better experience. They provide free shuttle service every half hour, allowing for flexible arrival times. The room was also more spacious, clean, and hygienic. The best part is that since the area near the airport is quite desolate and ordering food can be inconvenient, the front desk offers meal service until 9 PM, and the prices are very reasonable. Compared to other options, this place definitely has an advantage; it offers great value for money!
