Would definitely recommend if you need to rush to the airport in the morning."

"Ideal location near Brussels, perfect for an overnight stay. The room seemed generally clean and easy to access, though I did notice the carpet was damp on one side of the room. However, the stay was marred by a few inconveniences. Upon arrival, we were given a room that was already occupied, and we stumbled upon other guests' belongings (it would have been far more awkward if they had been in there!). Fortunately, the reception was able to find us another available room. Later, when I wanted to make coffee with the provided cups and instant coffee, there was no kettle. When I asked at the front desk, they couldn't find me one. I didn't push the issue, as we were only staying for one night."

"The staff are really great. I mean, the facilities are quite wonderful but it was the service experience that I appreciated the most. And the breakfast - my goodness! I really enjoyed all of the food, and I did try just about everything during my stay. The bread and pastries were fantastic, the coffee was lovely. Lots of other nice stuff - cheese and so on. Really great. Also there is a nice little patio area outside which was perfect for having a relaxing breakfast in the fresh air and sunshine. Access: I arrived on a city bus from Brussels Airport. The airport bus area is a real nightmare currently (May 2026), so I don't recommend that right now. But after they fix the bus terminal, it would be a good option (if you don't have a lot of luggage). It is a short walk from the bus stop to Penta Hotel. I took a rideshare back to the airport when I left. The room was cozy and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were good. The bed was very comfortable, nice bedding and pillows. I slept very well. The A/C wasn't working well, but it was during the heat wave and everyone was having issues in the country at the time. So I think it's not surprising. The vibe of the hotel is really cool. It definitely worked for me, lots of neat design stuff and graphics and knick-nacks with a lot of character. It fit my taste very well and hopefully you would like it too. I didn't get a chance to use the pool table in the lobby but I'm going to make a point of it next time. In summary: a funky and comfortable place to stay, good value for the price, outstanding breakfast and amazing, friendly and courteous staff. Very happy I found this place. (Apparently it's a small chain, so I will look for them when I am travelling in other places)"

"Not bad, the restaurant is not open. room service You can eat in the lobby. It is delicious. It is airport shuttle I thought that the hotel went directly to the airport. I went to several hotels to pick up people. The road was swayed for 35 minutes before I arrived at the airport. If you are in a hurry, it is easy to miss the plane. Ask Trip.com whether the shuttle should be pre-prepared in advance. Tell me about a day ~ there are two trips at 9:10 in the morning and 5 in the afternoon. It is not at all. It is 3:45-9:10 in the morning and 5:00-22:25 every 45mjn."

"The hotel is conveniently located if you're heading to the airport and looks quite new. However, the first room I was given was faulty, and after switching rooms, the TV didn't work either. I was too tired to move again, so I just made do. The hotel service felt quite inconsistent. The airport shuttle costs 6 euros per person. When I checked in, the front desk staff was very nice and offered me a complimentary ride this time since I was staying for two nights. I wanted to confirm the time the next day, and he told me to just tell his colleague. However, when I spoke to the front desk staff the next noon, they seemed very unhappy and questioned who gave me the free ride. Both he and another female staff member were quite aggressive, telling me only he could offer free rides, not his colleagues, and that I had to pay 6 euros. I was really speechless. This is clearly an internal communication issue within the hotel, but this person's attitude made it seem like they were blaming me or thought I was making it up. In the end, he did give me the complimentary ride because of the issues with my room (I guess that's a silver lining?). Anyway, it was quite ridiculous. I confirmed where to wait for the car, and he told me to wait on the lobby sofa. The next morning, I waited on the sofa for 15 minutes ahead of time, but no one came, and when I asked the front desk, they said the car had already left. However, the front desk did call me a taxi in the end, which I found acceptable. Other aspects of the hotel were okay; the bed was large, the room was cool and clean, but the person on duty the next noon was really unfriendly. And it's absurd that the hotel's problems were shifted onto the guest."

"The stay was pleasant, and the hotel was clean. It's a bit far from the city center, located in an industrial area, but it's a 15-minute walk to a train station. There's also a city bus stop nearby that takes you to the city center in half an hour, or in the other direction, to Zaventem Airport. So, good public transport connections. However, only breakfast was served, and there are no cafes, bars, or supermarkets nearby to grab a meal or buy anything. The hotel does have vending machines for drinks and hot coffee."

"Lovely hotel in a great location for walking to all the main sights. Staff really helpful and friendly and let us know about a light show that night for the university 600th anniversary celebration - really enjoyed it! Breakfast was amazing!! Definitely worth the 25 euros. The buffet includes everything you could possibly want plus some extras like interesting yoghurt toppings and mini pancakes! Lovely grounds - too cold to enjoy unfortunately. Very clean and quiet room with huge bed so slept really well. Definitely recommended staying here!"

The hotel is near to the airport so it is convenient for us since we had a 11am flight. There are some free public carpark outside the hotel. The breakfast started early so we could have breakfast before we went to the airport. The room given to us was big so we had lots of space for 3 of us. The reception staff was friendly and helpful when we had problem connecting to the wifi.

We traveled with a car and need to go to Brussel Midi on next day to pick up someone. So the location is perfect! Only 10 min drive. And they offer secured parking in front of the building for free. Check-in only open for 4 hours. But the hotel and trip.com have clear introductions in advance, so it’s not an issue. Reception are friendly. Room has no AC but it cooled down after we opened the window. The only reason for low score is the bed and the pillow. There is some protection cover underneath the bed linen, which is hard and feels like plastic or PVC. It didn’t breathe. Lying on top of such thing, our back start to sweat. Our solution for this one night is to lie on top of the duvet, so we could stop sweating. The pillows were also not standard.. when touching it, the filling are little fluffy balls… something like a normal pillow filling after hundreds years the cotton or microfibres stick to each other forming those little balls. (See picture what was under pillow case) For one night stay it was basically okay. We all had shower (water pressure was brilliant). There was strong light outside our window. So we didn’t need to turn on room light.

The hotel looks good, but not luxurious. Very close to the train station and there is a grocery store just below the hotel. The room has two narrow single beds, with a shower room and a separate wc. No refrige. The room is cozy and small, but was fine for one person. I heard some sounds from the trains, but was not loud. Overall, it was a good value for money!

Price was acceptable at the time I was deciding whether to stay near the airport or not. I was not disappointed given the comfy room and free hotel airport shuttle ( shared with Holiday Inn EXPRESS next door and further up Holiday Inn, ....). It was raining in the morning when we were waiting for our big bus. As the bus did not turn right in front of Adagio or HI Express, we braced the winter rain to queue up with many people to board the big bus.
