"True to the Sheraton brand, this resort boasts an excellent location. Our sea-view room offered breathtaking, unparalleled ocean vistas, overlooking the most beautiful bay – truly a serene experience. The hotel's service was top-notch: I realized I had left my luggage in the hotel car park over ten hours later. As soon as I contacted them, the staff handled it immediately, perfectly transporting my luggage to our hotel in Ningbo. The service was incredibly professional and attentive. "We were very disappointed with several aspects of this hotel. I’ll start with the NEGATIVES (positive will be below): According to the hotel’s description, it opened in 2020, so we expected a relatively new, modern and well-maintained property. Unfortunately, the reality was very different!!! ① The bathroom was particularly disappointing. The electrical outlets were installed at an angle, making it very difficult or sometimes impossible to plug anything in. The shower area was dirty and worn, looking more like it was 20 years old rather than six. The shower head sprayed water in different directions, including directly into your face. ② The shampoo and shower gel dispensers were poorly secured, and some did not work at all. We had to unscrew the bottles and pour the shampoo directly onto our hands. ③ The room itself was also poorly maintained. The floor had many sticky marks and stains, while the walls were heavily scuffed and damaged in several places. I understand that this is a popular hotel and naturally experiences a lot of wear and tear. However, for a property presenting itself as a five-star hotel, this level of cleanliness and maintenance is very disappointing. In its current condition, it feels much closer to an older three-star hotel. If you are considering staying here, I would strongly recommend keeping your expectations low and not relying too heavily on the promotional photos and advertising. The actual condition of the rooms was very different from what we expected based on how the hotel presents itself online. On the POSITIVE side, the beds were comfortable and the bed linen was clean and fresh, which we appreciated. We also really enjoyed the breakfast with the giraffes. If you want to get the best experience and be among the first guests, you need to start queuing from around 5:50 a.m. The giraffes are adorable and come up to each table, which made the experience very special and was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. *I will not add photos of the beds and giraffes because hotel and other guests have all of them, but I prefer to add photos with real problems."

"This stay, including the food, was incredibly satisfying! The room wasn't huge but it was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and it had all the necessary amenities, offering great value for money. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I missed lunch, but I did enjoy the afternoon tea. There was a wide variety of drinks, cold beverages, roasted sweet potatoes, and snacks, all available for free, which was a huge plus. The customer service ladies were all very kind and their service was attentive and enthusiastic. I definitely have to come back! "The hotel is nestled halfway up Wujian Mountain, surrounded by lush forests, offering expansive views. Its overall design exudes an island-zen aesthetic. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with comprehensive amenities. The public hot spring area boasts an elegant ambiance, making for a wonderfully relaxing soak. It's also very convenient for self-driving to Mount Putuo and Wugongzhi Pier. I particularly want to commend the front desk staff. Their demeanor during check-in was gentle and professional. They patiently and thoroughly explained routes, attractions, and hotel facilities when we inquired, offering practical suggestions and responding promptly to our requests. The entire reception process was calm, thoughtful, and incredibly detail-oriented, allowing us to shed our travel fatigue as soon as we arrived. The hotel's overall service struck a perfect balance – warm without being intrusive. This Zhoushan vacation was significantly enhanced by the attentive service from the front desk, making it a truly healing stay. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a getaway to Putuo."

"I'm absolutely captivated by Nanhu Hotel! I originally booked a garden view room, but to my surprise, I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a lake view room during check-in! Waking up to the beautiful Nanhu scenery is incredibly therapeutic! They even offered afternoon tea upon check-in! I also had dinner at the hotel, and the food was truly exceptional! You could really taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients! The hotel service was absolutely perfect too! Every little detail was a bonus! This will definitely be my top choice for hotels when I visit Jiaxing again! I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"The room was spotless and very clean. The service was excellent. When we arrived in the evening, the front desk reminded us that we could go for a late-night snack (although the taste might not suit everyone), but the thought behind it was really kind. In the evening, they brought us foot bath tubs with herbal packets. The breakfast spread was very generous. My parents and I traveled together, and they were very happy."

"Highly recommend this hotel. The most annoying thing about staying in a hotel is that you encounter a difficult hair dryer. The hair dryer in this hotel is very easy to use. The wind is strong and the scalp is not hot. This is great. Disposable items are kraft paper packaging texture is good. This makeup mirror perfectly solves the pain point of girls' makeup remover, which is great. recommend"

"Cixi Mingyue Lake Huanglong Hotel is a new benchmark for five-star hotels, and the experience was absolutely perfect! 👍 - **Ambiance:** The hotel boasts a new Chinese garden style, with stunning, unobstructed lake views that are perfect for photos. - **Rooms:** The rooms are spacious and brand new, equipped with smart facilities, comfortable bedding, and top-notch bathroom amenities. It was an incredibly comfortable stay. - **Service:** The staff were warm and attentive, quick to respond, and paid great attention to detail. The overall experience was excellent. - **Dining:** The breakfast was varied and authentic, featuring distinct local specialties. The afternoon tea was exquisite and absolutely delicious. - **Amenities:** They offer free parking, a heated swimming pool, and a gym. The facilities are comprehensive, making travel very convenient. This is definitely the top choice for accommodation in Cixi. Highly recommended!"

"Highly recommend! 🤞🤞🤞 The lovely lady at the front desk upgraded us to a family river-view room – we were so pleasantly surprised when we opened the door! 🤞🤞 The facilities are new, and the bedding is comfortable. 🤞🤞🤞 Breakfast was delicious! I loved the puff pastry tarts; they were so fresh, and great with the whipped cream. 🤞🤞🤞 There's a Hello Kitty store about a 20-minute walk away where I finally got the black leather Kitty I've wanted for ages! 🤞🤞🤞 Ningbo is such a fun city, and the food is amazing too! 🤞🤞🤞🤞 Next time, I'll explore other cities! 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞"
