Guest UserThe environment here is fantastic! The lobby has books, a guzheng (Chinese zither), and calligraphy brushes, plus two adorable parrots 🦜.
I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful.
It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station.
I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

Guest UserFront desk staff, Ms. Wang Xiao, kindly upgraded my mother's room for free. The room was spacious and bright, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The environment was quiet, ensuring a great night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family when they visit Hangzhou.

Rendanruju2020Highly recommend the central lake-view rooms; the unobstructed lake view is breathtaking and truly therapeutic, giving you that ultimate vacation vibe.
**Dining:** Breakfast was plentiful, and the dishes changed over our two-day stay, which was great. The Chinese restaurant also had a lovely ambiance and excellent food.
**Transportation:** It's a 10-minute walk from the entrance to the lobby, or you can use the hotel shuttle.
**My only complaint:** We arrived around 1:30 PM on a Sunday, and I understand the room might not have been ready. However, despite several prompts, we didn't get our room until just after 3 PM. There was no seating available in the lobby either, leaving both the elderly and children quite exhausted.

congcong0613Environment: The environment is really superb. I booked a water villa, and the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe water villa, which had a better location and was closer to the hotel lobby. The balcony in the room overlooked the lake, and you could feed fish and ducklings from the balcony railing. There were so many koi in the hotel, some even bigger than the ducks, which was really fun.
Service: Every staff member I encountered was super nice. When my child mentioned that the snacks delivered to the room were delicious, they specially sent two extra portions that afternoon. When I checked out, they even prepared some for me to take away, which was incredibly touching! Thumbs up, thumbs up!
Food: The breakfast area isn't big, but it's delicious! There's a wide variety of bread, and both Chinese and Western breakfast options are very rich. Even if you go to eat after 9 am, there's no long queue; it's quiet with fewer people. We had dinner at the Baiyun Restaurant, which was also very good, costing a little over 200 yuan per person, which was quite reasonable.
Facilities: The hotel is indeed not new anymore, as it has been open for a long time, but it's very well maintained. And this Chinese style just looks ancient and elegant, which I personally really like.
Rowboat: Three of us took the hotel's rowboat. It was 400 yuan for an hour to charter the boat, which is indeed a bit more expensive than outside, but the advantage is no queues, no exposure to the sun, and there wasn't a second boat on the outer lake waterway, so we had a private secret retreat all to ourselves – so comfortable!

HongsechenhuiI took my family on a holiday trip to Hangzhou, Shaoxing, and Wuzhen. We visited Shaoxing first, then Hangzhou, and finally Wuzhen. Honestly, booking Jin Tang Inn for this leg of the journey was the most successful decision.
I especially want to give a big shout-out and thank Jiajia from Jin Tang Inn! 🌹
She handled everything from check-in, luggage, and shuttle service to and from the parking lot. Perhaps this is the standard service in Wuzhen, and as she herself said, it's 'what she should do.' But her eyes, expression, and demeanor exuded genuine kindness and sincerity. When we left, it was raining, and I was genuinely worried she'd get drenched on her way back, but thankfully, the weather cleared up. 🌹🌹❤️
I walked around Wuzhen several times in the morning, and in comparison, Jin Tang Inn's cleanliness, service, and facilities were all excellent. The breakfast was another highlight.
If I ever have international guests visiting Wuzhen in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to arrange their stay here.

WeileshengcuncaihuozhuoI arrived in Hangzhou on a 1 AM flight, and I expected check-in to be a hassle at that hour. But when I got to the hotel, the front desk girl, still bright-eyed and smiling, greeted me warmly. She had me checked in within minutes and even helped carry my luggage to the room, saying, ”You must be tired, get some rest.” When I entered the room, the bed was already made, the night light was on, and there was a bottle of warm water on the table. All the fatigue from my late-night arrival vanished instantly. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; even though the hotel was fully booked for the past two days, once the door was closed, it was completely quiet – a real 'night is still, spring mountain empty' feeling. I slept soundly until noon the next day. The facilities were also great; the shower had instant hot water, which was wonderful for a refreshing hot shower in the early hours. The air conditioner had a silent mode, so I couldn't hear a thing. I went down for breakfast in the afternoon. Even though it was past peak breakfast time, the selection was still complete, with freshly made wontons, pan-fried dumplings, various hot and cold dishes, all promptly refilled. The server even warmed my milk for me. After eating, I discovered that West Lake was only a 10-minute walk away. I took a stroll by the lake in the evening, and the scent of osmanthus filled the air – it was so relaxing. To receive such service when arriving late at night is truly exceptional.

Guest UserUnfortunately, our stay coincided with heavy rainfall – reportedly the worst since the hotel opened. Due to the weather and general environment, there was a noticeable dampness and earthy smell in our room, and the lighting was dim. Oddly enough, this created a cozy atmosphere perfect for a rainy day, which my child found quite charming, haha. We stayed in the rammed earth 'Wild Boar' area. The downhill stairs leading to our room during the downpour were quite dangerous, very slippery underfoot. We had to be extremely careful going up and down, and my partner even took a tumble. We reported this safety concern to the front desk when checking out. I'd strongly advise against this room type for elderly guests or families with young children during rainy weather. As for dining, KK French Restaurant was very much to our taste, and breakfast was good too. The Chinese restaurant, however, tended to be a bit salty. Regarding hotel activities, you can just show up at the scheduled time for non-paid activities, no reservation needed. For pottery, I'd recommend booking in advance as their capacity is limited. The shuttle service's response time was generally slow. The串串 (mini-train/cart?) was adorable and well-behaved.

Guest UserMy business trip stay at Hufu Inn exceeded my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, with a solid wood desk perfect for working. The bedding had visible cotton seeds, felt healthy, soft, and comfortable, washing away all the fatigue from work. What impressed me most was the hotel's public areas and service. While relaxing in the cafe with lush greenery outside the window, the staff thoughtfully brought me hot tea. There were complimentary fruits and snacks available, and they even helped me print and bind my documents. The Hangzhou cuisine in the restaurant was also delicious. The concierge recommended Longjing shrimp, which was perfect for one person, and even gave me a complimentary Dongpo pork. I'll definitely consider staying here again.

Naked Castle is a landmark in Moganshan, boasting a rich history from being a British summer retreat to a gathering place for celebrities during the Republic of China era. It's a prime example of the 'foreign-style' guesthouses in Moganshan. While many new luxury resorts have sprung up in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region over the years, and the Naked series continues to evolve, Naked Castle's scenery is truly unparalleled. Perched atop a mountain, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Moganshan range, with its own private outdoor pool. The themed rooms inside the castle are incredibly unique, making you feel as if you've traveled back to medieval Europe, sharing a dwelling with a diverse group of people.
My only minor complaint would be the somewhat understated presence of the staff. Many newer resorts have a more proactive and attentive service approach.

ChenaipiaoxueStaying here with kids was incredibly hassle-free. The room was spacious enough, and the staff were incredibly patient with the little ones. Plus, there's a 24-hour kids' play area! The surrounding amenities are very convenient, making it easy to take the kids out. Una and Vincent provided excellent and thoughtful service – two thumbs up! I'll definitely be recommending Xinyu Hotel in Hangzhou to my friends and family if they get the chance to visit; it's truly great value for money!
