"I booked this hotel last minute for the Dragon Boat Festival, so the price was quite high. Emily at the front desk was very welcoming during check-in and even gave my child a small gift. The room itself was quite spacious, but the view was limited to only a partial glimpse of the Haihe River. The small TV in the room was truly pathetic, about the size you'd find in a motel, and definitely not what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. The hotel's facilities are good, with a swimming pool and gym readily available. The location is also convenient for nearby attractions. However, the breakfast was really just average. While waiting for my omelet, my tableware was cleared away, which was quite frustrating. I'd say it was enough to fill up, but it fell far short of the quality I had in mind. Ctrip mentioned some benefits that weren't offered or even brought up. The bottled water in the hallway was only there on the first day of check-in and again at check-out; for some reason, it was empty in between. Overall, I'd say it was still decent."

"This is my favorite hotel to stay at when I visit Tianjin. The service is warm and attentive, and they even offer a complimentary fruit tea and milk for a good night's sleep. The breakfast spread is fantastic, offering a variety of Tianjin's local snacks without even needing to leave the hotel! 👍🏻 In the evenings, the lakeside bar has live music, creating a wonderful atmosphere, and the cocktails are beautifully crafted. The setting is truly unique, with a stunning light show along the Hai River right outside the entrance. It's just gorgeous!"

"I had to return to university for a CET-6 exam and was transiting in Tianjin. I originally planned to book the Holiday Inn Tianjin Riverside or the Pan Pacific Hotel across the street, but I saw the good location of this hotel and decided to go with it. When I arrived at Tianjin West station in the morning to check in, I was told there were no rooms available and I had to come back after 2 PM. I had no choice but to wait, but in the afternoon, they upgraded my room. It felt quite spacious, unlike the budget hotels I usually stay in. The mini-bar in the fridge was well-stocked, but it wasn't cold. After I reported it to the front desk, they sent someone to replace the fridge with a new one. There were no coffee capsules when I first entered, but they brought a coffee machine and capsules later. This is something they should pay attention to. The hygiene was decent; the towels and bedding seemed disinfected, and I didn't experience any allergic reactions after using them. The disposable toiletries were comprehensive and of good quality. The hairdryer was a Dyson, which was great to use. The bathroom had an absorbent floor, but there was no non-slip mat or handrails, making it very slippery. A non-slip mat would be a good addition. The sink design was problematic; it easily accumulated water that flowed onto the floor, which was also very slippery. They should consider adding an absorbent mat or non-slip mat under the sink, or redesigning the sink altogether. The smart toilet worked fine, but the spray function seemed to have an issue and should be repaired. The air conditioning cooled normally, had no strange odors, and only a slight noise. The typhoon lamp next to the TV was a bit loose, and there was one less bedside reading lamp. A reading lamp should be provided on the desk. The biggest issue was when I went out to buy a red pen that evening and couldn't find one. I asked the front desk to borrow one, and the staff member asked, ”Will you return it?” I really want to know, as a service professional working in a hotel, what do you mean by saying that to a guest? I feel that if borrowing a pen warrants such a comment, would I be questioned or subtly mocked if I asked for more drinking water? Service attitude and language need to be professional. Why ask, ”Will you return it?” It's just a pen; I wouldn't even take it, and I can't use a red pen for the exam anyway. On the positive side, the breakfast service was good. When she asked if I had a breakfast coupon, I said the front desk hadn't given me one. She said just give the room number, and it wouldn't affect my meal. This deserves praise. There were paper cups next to the coffee machine, but they should switch to better quality ones or ceramic cups, as the paper cups easily leak and are hot to hold. The laundry room and gym facilities were well-designed, unlike places like Atour, which put washing machines and treadmills in the same room. The gym at EVEN Hotels was well-equipped with comprehensive facilities, including dumbbells, which can meet the needs of many business travelers. However, the status display for the washing machines was unclear; it always showed '0.' When I went to the laundry room, all machines were empty and available. They should address this issue. They provided two trash cans: a large one for takeout and a smaller one for other indoor waste. This was very well done. The shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, and lotion were all excellent. The experience was good, and the quality was acceptable and not cheap. Please keep it up. In summary, the hotel needs to improve its service awareness and enhance work efficiency and management. Overall, I found it pretty good and comfortable, with no major issues except for the front desk asking, ”Will you return it?”"

"This is an older international hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but it does have an indoor swimming pool and a gym. The mattress is a bit soft, and the TV doesn't support screen casting. The shower water pressure was good, and the room itself was spacious. The hotel staff were professional and enthusiastic. The hotel's location is excellent, just across the road from Xibeijiao, and right next to Lujiazui Mall and Shuishang City Shopping Mall."

Everyone we met was so warm, truly going above and beyond to surprise and delight us. 1️⃣ **Location:** The hotel is conveniently located near Ancient Culture Street, the Italian Style Area, Wanghailou Church, and Runzeyuan. It’s an easy 10-minute walk or a quick taxi ride (about 10-something RMB). 2️⃣ **View:** The river view rooms offer excellent vistas. At night, the neon lights on both sides of the Haihe River reflect beautifully, and boats glide across the water, creating a stunning scene. A heads-up: not all rooms have balconies with openable doors, so you might want to confirm this when booking. 3️⃣ **Room:** River view rooms start from 60 square meters and include a balcony. The first round of mini-bar drinks is complimentary. There’s a spacious sofa, perfectly comfortable for an extra person to sleep on. For just over 1,000 RMB a night, the value for money is excellent! 4️⃣ **Service:** Every single staff member at the Banyan Tree was polite, friendly, warm, and enthusiastic. When one of the sinks in our room was a bit clogged, they not only promptly fixed it but also sent a fruit platter as an apology. Mineral water was replenished very promptly; seeing that we were a larger group (3 adults and 1 child), they even left seven or eight bottles, making it convenient for the child. We brought a swimming ring but forgot the pump, and surprisingly, the pool area had one, which solved our problem! The hotel offers transfer services: a round trip from Tianjin Station to the hotel costs ¥80, and a one-way trip is ¥50. While slightly more expensive than a private car, the hotel uses large, clean, and comfortable business vans. Since we had a baby with us, the hotel graciously extended our check-out time. 5️⃣ **Facilities:** When traveling with children, besides choosing a five-star hotel, we typically look for rooms over 60 square meters and a kids' club. While the Banyan Tree's kids' club isn't huge and lacks toy cars, the upside is that it was empty! The benefit of traveling during off-peak times meant our child had the entire club to themselves.👏👏👏 The swimming pool area has two heated pools, which are more than enough for kids to play in, and the adult pool water was very clean. Ordering takeout was super easy, with a robot delivering food directly to the room. I must particularly commend the front door staff. Every time we took a taxi, they would open the car door, handle our luggage, fold the stroller – they did everything they could. We left something behind, and they brought it out to us on a luggage trolley, very professional. Although the room decor isn't brand new, overall, it's very clean, with an extra-large bathtub. They even provided multiple charging adapters, mosquito repellent, and corner protectors, showing great attention to detail. 6️⃣ **Features:** The hotel's main theme is Zen. There's a dedicated meditation space. I absolutely loved the hotel's signature fragrance – it smells very high-end, and the scent of the hand lotion lingered for a long time; I even wanted to buy a bottle to take home. ❇️ **Minor point:** If I had to find a fault, it would be that while the artwork in the rooms is Zen-inspired, the dark tones could be adjusted to create a warmer atmosphere. 💕 If you're visiting Tianjin with your little one, I highly recommend the Banyan Tree Tianjin Haihe. It will definitely add an extra layer of joy to your wonderful memories! Grateful for the experience! ❤️"

"This is my second stay at the Time Walk Hotel, and once again, it's as thoughtful and heartwarming as ever. I stayed here last year and had a great experience, so I decided to come back. My trip to Tianjin was for 4 nights in total, but the first two nights were over the weekend, and the hotel was fully booked. So, I smoothly checked in on Monday. It happened to be my friend's birthday on the day we checked in, and the front desk noticed. They surprised her with a birthday cake and longevity noodles! Although the cake wasn't huge, it genuinely touched my friend – she hadn't celebrated her birthday in 6 or 7 years. Her husband even messaged me, saying the hotel was more considerate than he was! How can a hotel be so incredibly thoughtful? They truly make you feel right at home. Every room is spacious, and the space is utilized very well. The hotel amenities and facilities are complete and well-equipped. Looking forward to my next stay!"

The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it super easy to get around and explore. Cathy Xu at the front desk was incredibly warm and attentive, patiently answering all my questions, which made for a great service experience. The room itself was clean and bright, and the housekeeping was impeccable. The bedding was clean and soft, making for a wonderfully comfortable sleep. All the in-room amenities were fully functional, including the air conditioning, lighting, and bathroom facilities; the hot water was quick and consistent. The room had good soundproofing, creating a quiet environment where I wasn't disturbed by outside noise, ensuring a peaceful night's rest every night. The common areas were also well-maintained, contributing to a warm and comfortable overall atmosphere. All in all, this hotel offers fantastic value for money. The environment, service, and cleanliness were all exceptional, providing a wonderful living experience. It's perfect for both short trips and business stays. "Overall, I was very satisfied and extended my stay for another night. The hotel's location is excellent and convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the subway. The river view twin room offers a spacious view, where you can see the Hai River and people swimming, and the night view is absolutely stunning. The restaurant is clean and tidy, and the waitstaff are very friendly. While the variety of dishes isn't extensive, the food tastes quite good. The room isn't huge, but the facilities are new and the overall style is minimalist. A nice touch: heated towel rails, and you can play soothing and sleep-inducing music – lovely! The hotel floors are high, with the Radisson rooms located on the 46th-51st floors, making it very quiet overall. However, the entire building is hexagonal with the elevators in the center, so you can hear the elevators going up and down from the room (I'm not sure if this applies to all rooms). Front desk service: The front desk staff I encountered on the third day, a young man and a young woman, were very enthusiastic, unlike the staff from the first two days. After I provided feedback on the front desk service from the first two days, the supervisor promptly addressed the issue, proactively calling to apologize and discuss – which I didn't expect. The service industry is indeed challenging, and I hope the hotel's service continues to improve."
