Yitel is like a beautiful melody played by Chinese and Western musical instruments. It is just like wandering along a forest path, listening to the gurgling stream, cleansing the dust and weariness of the soul.

"I recently stayed at Yitel Premium and absolutely loved it! The location is amazing—right in the heart of the pedestrian street, so it's super convenient to walk anywhere. It's also really close to a famous Xiaolongbao restaurant, and DiDi drivers can pick you up right in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is very clean, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning my room every single day. The best part was that my stay coincided with my birthday, and the staff was so sweet to upgrade my room for free! The service here is top-notch. I also loved the complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby, and the free washing machine was a huge plus. The only minor things were a slight cigarette smell that probably came through the AC vents, which was understandable. However, the only real downside was that my room faced the main road, so the traffic noise was quite loud. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it!"

"Great location, close to the metro. Upon check-in, I received a room upgrade. Everything in the room was satisfactory. As I later found out, the internet was good (Google and Telegram worked; at another hotel, these didn't), though the speed wasn't great. I booked a room with lounge access. It was quite modest, but good enough for a snack. Hot options included rice, chicken with vegetables, and noodles in sauce. There was also cheese, cold cuts, vegetables, fruits, and sweets. The bar was quite extensive, offering Martini, spirits, wine, champagne, and soft drinks. They didn't ask for a deposit upon check-in. It's a good option for accommodation, and it's convenient to walk to the embankment."

She was incredibly efficient even late at night, handling everything with a gentle and polite demeanor. She patiently explained breakfast times and hotel amenities, and even when I had questions later in the night, she answered them thoroughly. Her service was truly professional, making me feel completely at ease despite the late hour. Overall, it was a perfect experience, definitely deserving of a five-star rating!"

"#Room#: Very comfortable, perfect for families of three or four with kids. I was traveling with two children and one adult, and my feedback is that we all slept incredibly well and had a great rest. It was quiet and the soundproofing was excellent. #Cleanliness#: Spotless. The housekeeper cleaned daily, changing sheets, duvet covers, and so on. They even installed bed rails for the kids, which was very thoughtful. #Breakfast#: A great mix of Chinese and Western options. There were Western choices like pastries, bread, and coffee, alongside Chinese favorites such as steamed buns, 'wowotou' (corn bread), corn, plain congee, millet congee, noodles, vegetables, and eggs. The fruit selection was extensive, and there was juice, milk, and soy milk – a wide and complete variety. #Dinner#: Noodles, wontons, etc. The kids loved it all. We actually gained a few pounds staying here because the food was so good! We ate well, slept well, and felt relaxed and at ease 😄. #Service#: The front desk staff were incredibly warm, attentive, thoughtful, and very professional. I would definitely choose to stay at Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden Bund again. I highly recommend Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden Bund to anyone planning to visit with children~"

CCHABOOOOThe hotel room offers a fantastic view, almost directly facing the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. I really love its excellent location on the North Bund, which is convenient yet avoids the crowds found in other popular areas. Before checking in, I was a bit worried after reading some reviews that mentioned the hotel's facilities were a bit old. However, upon arrival, I found everything to be very well-maintained, so there was no need for concern at all. What truly impressed me the most was the service – it's arguably the best I've ever experienced in a hotel. Manager Lily went above and beyond to help me with various requests, even late at night. Throughout my entire stay, she was incredibly attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable and at ease. If I ever return to Shanghai, I will definitely choose to stay here again.

KKaikai10The rooms are luxurious, elegant, comfortable, and spacious. Both the rooms and the public areas, as well as the surroundings, are clean and tidy. The hotel's service is very thoughtful; they provide welcome fruits upon check-in, and the housekeeping staff cleans the room twice daily. I primarily chose this hotel for its historical and cultural value. It's a highly recommended hotel.

GGuest UserExcellent, exceeded expectations! The front desk staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was surprisingly spacious for this area. The bathroom with a bathtub was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure, making for a refreshing wash. You can grab bottled water from the dispenser by the elevator on each floor, which is perfect for an introvert like me. The subway station is literally just around the corner to the right – it takes a minute or two to get in, which is amazing; I've never stayed in a hotel so close to a subway before. Getting a ride-share is also very convenient; you can just set the pickup location to the hotel or the Agricultural Bank next door. The cleaning lady was also very polite; whenever she saw us leaving, she'd immediately ask if she could clean, so I didn't even need to tell the front desk. The building itself is very historic and full of character, and I took many photos because I loved the style. From my room, I could even see the 'Three-piece set' (referring to Shanghai's iconic skyscrapers) in the distance. All in all, this hotel offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

PPianpianxihuanniyaThis was my first time staying at the Star River Hotel. The event organizer held a conference here, and the overall style reminded me of Macau, with a strong Victorian feel and a luxurious ambiance. You can tell the hotel has been around for some years, but the facilities are very well-maintained. The entrance/exit to the underground parking is too narrow, which isn't very friendly for large luxury cars (D-segment vehicles). The breakfast was quite rich and good, too.

GGuest UserThe room design style is minimalist, luxurious, and very spacious with an amazing view. The in-room bathtub bubble bath was incredibly comfortable. The pool view is also stunning, especially at night – perfect for photos. The hot spring bubble bath was super relaxing, like a full body massage. They say hotels are places that attract good energy, and I've been feeling quite down lately. After staying here, I truly believe I'll be re-energized. Just lying on the bed, looking out the window, and clearing my mind makes me feel like life is worth living. Always believe that good things can happen at any moment.

GGuest UserI had some errands to run on Changshou Road, so I booked this hotel to avoid rushing back home. It turned out to be a great choice. **Location:** The hotel is incredibly well-situated. There are subway stations (I believe lines 7, 13, and 14) just a short walk in either direction. Plenty of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores are all around – it's a prime downtown location, making everything from dining to transportation super convenient. **Cleanliness:** No complaints here. From what I could see, the windowsills, tables, and chairs were all spotless. There were no strange odors in the room or bathroom either. **Service:** The staff were very proactive and attentive to all my requests. The hotel also has a concierge on the first floor that handles package deliveries and offers free luggage storage. For food deliveries, a robot brings them right to your room door. The front desk even gave me a free room upgrade and a complimentary breakfast, which was quite good (check out the last four photos) – a nice mix of Western and Chinese options. Overall, a very satisfying stay. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.

GGuest UserI’m so glad I chose the Mehood Elegant Hotel. It was the perfect location — close to everything, not too crowded, yet not too remote either. I traveled solo with my 14-month-old toddler, and he was absolutely spoiled by all the hotel staff. Everyone treated us with so much kindness and care. Jerry checked us in and out and even gave me a cute fridge magnet. The breakfast was delicious with so many options to choose from, the rooms were cleaned daily, and bottled water was always replenished. Xiao Jun also took great care of us, and Yinhe Juan felt like an auntie to us. We looked forward to seeing them every morning at breakfast. They all made my stay feel so warm and welcoming — truly like a home away from home. I’m incredibly grateful for their hospitality, and if I ever find myself back in Shanghai again, I’ll definitely be booking Mehood. PS: the view from my room was incredible!
