This B&B is located within Luoyi Ancient City. Though the entrance isn't grand, once you step inside, it feels like a hidden gem. It's built in the style of a traditional courtyard house, with a rooftop terrace that offers a close-up view of the Drum Tower. The whole place has such a wonderful vibe. We booked a king-size room with a private balcony, which was quite spacious. The furnishings had an antique charm, and waking up to the sounds of roosters crowing and birds chirping was incredibly comforting. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, perfect for recovering after a day of sightseeing. The bathroom amenities were also excellent, with a lovely fragrance. The towels were soft and comfortable, and surprisingly, they even provided a bath mat, which you usually only find in high-end hotels. It made us feel both reassured and pampered – seems like the owner has great taste! 😉 The front desk staff was also very welcoming and helpful, providing recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. However, there was one minor issue: the bathroom mirror in the room was a bit impractical. It was quite far from the sink, and there was no magnifying mirror 🪞. As someone who needs to get close to the mirror to put in contact lenses, I found this inconvenient. 😂 Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this B&B! 👍👍👍

My stay at this hotel, to put it simply, was acceptable for a regular five-star hotel, but subpar for a JW Marriott. First, there's only one driveway for vehicles entering the hotel. To exit, drivers have to make a U-turn, and if there are multiple cars dropping off or picking up guests, it easily causes congestion. Second, the hotel lobby is on the 38th floor, and guest rooms are above that. Getting from the ground floor to your room requires taking two separate elevators each time, which isn't very convenient. Finally, regarding room amenities, the entire room, except for the bathroom, had no tissues, making it a hassle every time I needed one. Also, a heads-up: the mini-bar in the room is chargeable, and the price list is just a blank piece of paper on the table. I didn't notice it and consumed some items, though the housekeeper, Maggi, later waived the charges for me, which I appreciate. Overall, this JW Marriott has a significant gap compared to other JW Marriotts in different cities, and the service is just acceptable. Furthermore, booking through Ctrip doesn't offer any extra benefits. If you still want to experience it, you might try booking directly on their official website.

This stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The front desk service was incredibly warm, with friendly and professional staff who made me feel right at home. Check-in was efficient, and the concierge even proactively helped with my luggage. The excellent service was a real highlight.

Many people traveled during the Qingming Festival. It was already past eight o'clock when we arrived at the hotel after visiting Yuntaishan. It was a bit late to order food at the restaurant. The manager arranged for two bowls of noodles and some fruits for free, which was very considerate. The room was large, the sheets were white, clean and hygienic. There were both Chinese and Western food for breakfast, which was very rich. The environment is nothing to say, it is located in a small park, the cherry blossoms and lilacs in the yard are in full bloom, the trees are lush, and it is very quiet to sleep at night. The road at the door is wide, and it is convenient to get on and off the highway. I am very satisfied with the stay experience.

There is a direct subway from airport to hotel. Name of the subway is ZAOYUAN and walking distance from subway to hotel about 5mins walk. Hotel room is spacious and clean. There is a small gym and nearby there is a night market and supermarket about 12mins walk from hotel. Near to residential area, there are few restaurants and we found a nice Lanzhou Beef Noodle which is clean, friendly and good. FREE 24hrs airport pickup from nearby hotels to airport , we took the 5am ride and within 15mins reach airport.

The environment here is great, and the sunken bathtub in the room is huge, making for a very relaxing soak. The hotel provides a shuttle bus that drops you off right at the entrance, and it's just a 3-minute walk to the Duanmen Gate of Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. However, the hotel's service left a lot to be desired. My daughter got sick and needed to go to the hospital urgently, but when I asked the front desk for help, their responses were incredibly cold and unhelpful. They said things like, ”You can search for a hospital yourself,” ”Call a taxi yourself,” and ”We don't know.” While I ended up arranging everything myself, their completely indifferent attitude was really off-putting.

Our stay was fantastic! The front desk staff kindly reminded us it was raining and offered us umbrellas. Breakfast was delicious and hearty, and our room was spotless, cleaned promptly every day. They even had white fungus soup and roasted sweet potatoes available. It exceeded my expectations. Plus, the location is super convenient for sightseeing, very close to Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, Longting Park, and the pier – just a short walk away. So convenient!

This time I came to Linzhou for a trip. The hotel was absolutely perfect. The price was super high. It was convenient to park in the university. The environment was elegant. I also walked around at night. It was close to the city center and not crowded. The conference reception conditions were not worse, especially the front desk manager and the front desk were very friendly. Five-star praise, Highly recommended personally.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in a wonderful way! Before booking, I was a bit hesitant because I saw some negative reviews, but then I thought, even five-star hotels get bad reviews, so I just went for it. And I'm so glad I did—it was even better than I imagined. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. My mom forgot her phone charger, and they had spares available, and they also had umbrellas for a rainy day. The breakfast was genuinely good; at least my mom really enjoyed it. She has a sensitive stomach, and the breakfast suited her perfectly, with both Chinese and Western options, as well as local specialties like beef soup, rice noodles, bread, and pastries. You can see for yourselves in the pictures! The room design was very thoughtful, with a separate toilet and shower, which is super convenient when traveling with family. Oh, and it's close to the high-speed rail station, but it wasn't noisy at all, so we slept really soundly.

The best hotel to stay in Luoyang, perfect location in the oldtown part of the city. It ais a beautiful newly renovated heritage house turned into hotel. The staffs are amazing, very helpful. My husband got injured during this trip and the staffs so helpful with everything to make sure our holiday went smoothly. Room was quite big for 3 of us, all equipped with smart tech. Staffs speak abit english but there is a translator device and we communicate with wechat so no problem at all. Very recommended place to stay in luoyang
