The bedding is clean, and they offer both soft and firm pillows to suit guest preferences. The sofa chair provides complete relaxation for muscles tired after a day of walking. The shower has precise temperature control and just the right water pressure, and the smart toilet is hygienic and reassuring. The front desk staff, especially one young man, was exceptionally helpful. Check-in was swift and efficient, and he even escorted me to my room, warmly introducing the hotel facilities and nearby specialty shops. His enthusiastic attitude was genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. A truly excellent check-in experience!"

"This is probably the best hotel in Quanzhou. It's located right by Jinjiang Bridge, offering views of the river and Quanzhou's Eye. However, it's in a new district, about a twenty-minute drive from attractions like Kaiyuan Temple. The executive room was spacious, clean, and had great views, especially for the night light show. Since it was my birthday, the hotel even decorated the room in advance. Breakfast included Quanzhou local specialties. The executive lounge dinner could be enjoyed as a seafood buffet on the fifth floor, which was a real highlight. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel also gave out mooncakes. I also tried the gym, and the pool looked good too. I'll definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to friends."

"The hotel's location is excellent and the staff are warm and professional. I was very satisfied throughout my stay. Amity arranged rooms on the same floor with fruit and amenities, Yoyo quickly handled check-in, and Jade processed my check-out and bill quickly. It was a good stay. After checking out, I realized I'd left my tablet in the room. When I went back to the front desk, they handled it very quickly. I also happened to run into the cleaning lady in my room who was very helpful in looking for my tablet. I'll choose this hotel again next time I'm in Fuzhou!"

"Baixiang Hotel is one of the most satisfying hotels I've stayed at recently. It seems to be the tallest building in Longyan, and the lobby is very grand. The rooms are spacious, and the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming. I especially want to commend a lady with a somewhat complex surname and glasses; she was very professional and deserves high praise. There's a claw machine on the first floor, and the staff member there even gave my two children a few extra game tokens, which they loved. All the other staff also provided excellent service. In the evening, when the technician came to fix the TV, he rang the doorbell and, after I opened the door, repeatedly confirmed if it was convenient for him to enter before coming in, which was very professional. The breakfast was quite good; the Fuding meat slices and noodles were exceptional. The coffee was a bit subpar, and there weren't many drink options, but there was enough to eat. The prices are usually very affordable, and they didn't raise them much during the ***** New Year. The suite was large, which I really liked. I'll definitely be back."

It's right on the food street, so you just step out and you're surrounded by various Southern Fujianese snacks, ginger duck, and satay noodles – incredibly convenient for meals. Major sights like the Bell Tower, Zhongshan Road Arcade, and Guan Yue Temple are just a 10-15 minute walk away, meaning no long taxi rides when exploring the Old City at night, which is a huge plus when traveling with two small children. We stayed in a family room, which was spacious enough for two large suitcases and a stroller. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortably firm, ensuring a good night's sleep. We requested a high floor away from the street when booking, and the room was very quiet, barely affected by the noise from the food street. The hot water was consistent, and the air conditioning worked well, making for a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were very responsive and efficient with check-in. Any requests we made by phone were promptly handled. The hotel also has a self-service laundry room, which was extremely useful for families with kids who go through a lot of clothes. In the lobby, you can also grab a map with Quanzhou travel tips, which is very helpful for tourists. We even received four complimentary tickets to the Lijian swimming pool next door. The breakfast was a Chinese buffet with a wide variety of options, including 'mian xian hu' (vermicelli paste), buns, porridge, milk, and soy milk – plenty for the kids to enjoy. It was perfect for filling up before heading out to explore the sights. Getting around by taxi was very easy; rides to various attractions were accepted instantly. You can also catch the Old City's 'Xiaobai' (small white) shuttle nearby, making it convenient to get to places like West Street and Kaiyuan Temple. Overall, the value for money is excellent, and I highly recommend it for families visiting Quanzhou. We would definitely choose to stay here again."

After staying at Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel, my previous disappointment with the Shangri-La vanished. As a well-established state guesthouse boasting West Lake views, its facilities, amenities, and service fully live up to five-star standards. The overall experience was significantly more comfortable. I. Hotel Environment and Location: Rich Lakeside Heritage The hotel is situated right by West Lake. The grand entrance features a pair of white elephant sculptures, stately and imposing. The entire glass-curtained building directly faces the West Lake. Upon entering, the lobby displays a calligraphy plaque reading 'First Building of Lake and Mountain Scenery,' creating a strong Chinese traditional atmosphere. The location is its biggest advantage. Stepping out, you're immediately on the West Lake walking path, perfect for an evening stroll or a morning jog. It's only a ten-minute drive from Sanfang Qixiang, making sightseeing very convenient. It's a peaceful oasis in a bustling area, without the noise typically found in city hotels. II. Guest Room: New Chinese Luxury, Spacious with Top-Notch Amenities The guest rooms feature a modernized New Chinese style, with dark wood finishes paired with ink-wash orchid paintings, creating a calm and elegant color scheme. The room is very spacious, avoiding any cramped feeling. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the city's buildings, and you can even catch the sunset in the evening. The bedding is soft and thick, complemented by two sets of pillows, ensuring a great night's sleep. A curved leisure sofa is tucked in the corner, and the desk is large, perfectly adequate for business travelers. The minibar thoughtfully includes seasonal fruits. The independent bathroom is fully tiled with marble and features both a bathtub and a separate shower, ensuring clear wet and dry zones. The mirrored vanity cabinet provides ample storage, the bathroom lighting is soft, and the toiletries are comprehensive. There are no flaws to be found in the hardware configuration. III. The ingredients are fresh, and replenishment is prompt. There's a diverse selection of fruits and drinks, and the hot dishes cater to both local and general tastes. The dining area is quiet and clean, and staff proactively clear plates and refill water. The overall quality is consistent. Breakfast offers a comprehensive spread, including local Fuzhou snacks like fish balls and peanut soup, as well as Western pastries, freshly ground coffee, and a whole grain station. Compared to the ordinary breakfast at the Shangri-La, the variety and sophistication here are a cut above. V. Overall Summary Advantages 1. The well-trained staff of an established state guesthouse provide prompt service. Minor Drawbacks The hotel building is older, so some public area elevators are a bit slow. During peak hours, check-in might involve a short wait; it's recommended to avoid peak times. Overall, for the same budget, Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel's hardware, convenient services, and dining standards are far superior to other five-star hotels in the city. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers to Fuzhou."

"Honestly, they could just call it Fairfield. There are so many alternatives at this price point, and many are even more comfortable. It's newly opened, and the room had a strong renovation smell (sensitive people beware). The promotional pictures show bathrobes, but there weren't any in the room (not sure if they forgot to put them in or what). The lamps on both sides of the bed didn't work (I thought they were decorative, but they had switches – they just didn't light up). The mattress was incredibly hard! An hour after checking in, the power suddenly went out for a bit, and then the TV stopped working properly. I called the front desk, and they said they'd send housekeeping to check it out (but no one came, even by the time I checked out the next day). The minibar fridge wasn't cooling either. I won't be choosing Fairfield again."

"Facilities: The hotel's concierge desk is on the ground floor, while the lobby is on the 47th floor. To get to your room, you first take an elevator from the ground floor to the 47th floor, then use your key card to transfer to another elevator that goes to the rooms. The toilet in the room was quite old-fashioned but thankfully clean! The curtains are electric, and the TV is pretty big, though I didn't try to cast anything to it. The sofa area is well-designed with a large round table and a sofa that has power outlets nearby, making it convenient for charging phones and laptops while relaxing. The bedside tables are also spacious, great for placing items. The air conditioning was powerful and effective. The mini-bar fridge was empty, and only two bottles of mineral water were provided. The washbasin was small. They only provided two toothbrushes, a comb, and some cotton swabs. No razor, which is fine, but not even a shower cap – I wonder if it was just overlooked! Service: When I first arrived, it was a bit frustrating; there was no service at all, and I had to ask about everything myself! At the front desk for check-in, the staff said my name wasn't on any order. They asked to see my Ctrip order on my phone, which was a first for me! I didn't encounter a single staff member who greeted me; they just acted like guests were invisible! I even bumped into a young staff member outside my room who just glanced at me twice and acted like she didn't see me. This is supposed to be a five-star hotel, but their service training in this regard is clearly lacking, especially for young employees who should have this basic awareness! Later that evening, when I went to the concierge to pick up a delivery, Xiao Jie was very helpful. He assisted me with my packages, gave me a tote bag for my items, and even offered to dispose of my trash. Environment: Getting food delivered is easy, pretty much anything is available, and there are also restaurants downstairs, which is convenient! Deliveries are brought by robots, but you have to call the concierge separately to request the robot delivery, likely for security reasons. The critical part was that my delivery arrived at 7:27 PM, and after two follow-up calls, it finally reached my room at 7:50 PM – unbelievable! Parking: I pre-arranged and reserved a ground-level parking spot. It was very crowded, so if you have a large car, it will test your driving skills!"

"The rooms are great, very convenient for families with kids as there are rooms on different floors. The laundry room is spacious with many machines. The service is excellent, and the front desk staff, both the handsome men and beautiful women, are always smiling. They even provided children's toothbrushes. Zhongshan Road is right downstairs, and you can see it by opening the window. You can also easily walk to Dayuan Road, where you'll find three Michelin-starred restaurants and the local favorite A-Ji-Zai shop."
