"Serene Twin Room, 45 sqm, two 1.2-meter beds. While this is an entry-level room category at Chunpo, the core experience wasn't compromised. The pros: The butler service was very responsive, and the shuttle carts were always on demand. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the Zixi rice noodles and local snacks. Standard amenities included a Dyson hairdryer, L'Occitane toiletries, and Dahongpao tea bags. The room was clean and tidy. However, there were real issues: The soundproofing was poor. Noise from the hallway and doors opening and closing carried right into the room. Late at night, we could clearly hear guests with kids returning, with both adults and children talking loudly in the corridor. By 6:00 AM the next morning, we could hear other guests pacing around in their rooms, which practically forced us to get up and leave. This room type doesn't offer a view of Dawang Peak—the window view was disappointing. Given the behavior of the neighboring guests, I wouldn't choose this room type again; next time, I'd pay extra to upgrade to a higher tier or a villa."

"Pet-friendly with no extra pet fee. Service: Good service. They gave us a heads-up in advance when room availability was tight. Cleanliness/Location: Fantastic location and very convenient. Everywhere nearby was either within walking distance or just a base-fare taxi ride away. Having parking spaces was also a great plus. Environment/Amenities: The overall ambiance was decent. The breakfast rice cereal/paste was delicious—I had two bowls! Other breakfast options were a bit limited, but there are plenty of food spots around, so we were eating non-stop anyway. Overall, a great stay. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I visit Quanzhou—dining, lodging, and getting around were all super convenient."

"The hotel's location isn't ideal; you'll need to take a taxi to get anywhere. However, it's right across from the Jinjiang River and next to Xunpu Village. Since taxis are convenient and affordable, this isn't a major issue. During holidays, it's very crowded, and we had to wait until past 1 PM for our room. Those traveling with seniors and children should be prepared. You can store your luggage and go out to explore first. I stayed here two years ago, and the service and facilities were excellent. The executive lounge offered freshly made cocktails, and the beef noodles were delicious. The breakfast even had grouper porridge. To my surprise, this time, the breakfast was quite disappointing. The grouper porridge was replaced with Mianxian paste, and they said they adjust the menu regularly. Why not adjust the steamed dim sum? The meatballs at the noodle station were subpar. The vegetable dishes were mediocre, and the fried noodles were unappetizing; you couldn't even pick them up with tongs. Only the pastries and bread maintained their quality. The main reason I used to stay at InterContinental Hotels QUANZHOU by IHG—the grouper porridge—is now gone. I might consider other hotels with better locations and prices in the future."

"Ambience: The front desk area is quite small, but luckily it wasn't peak hour when we checked in, so the overall experience was pretty good. We were upgraded to a suite, which was quite spacious. Cleanliness: Very clean, though there was a bit of an odor in the hallway that definitely needs to be addressed. Facilities: There are not many activities available, but the location is great with very convenient transportation."

"Thanks to Angel for her super thoughtful service! This time I came to Xiamen to visit my grandma, and I was staying with my parents, making us a party of three. We originally booked a Photographer's Balcony Room, but after communicating, our room was upgraded to a suite on the top floor. Although it didn't have a terrace, the space was incredibly large. I really liked the design of the living room and bedroom being separated for quiet and active areas, and there was even a small half-bath in the living room. The hotel was just renovated last year, so the in-room facilities are very new. While the design retains a Nanyang (Southeast Asian) flair, it also incorporates some modern luxury, like the makeup mirror. The suite felt much cozier in person than in the photos. The bathroom was super big, and it was my first time encountering a shower room that also had a sauna facility. The room amenities were very complete, including bath salts and bubble bath mousse. What was quite interesting was the presence of a yoga mat and small dumbbells. Doing some exercises in the room in the morning, facing Gulangyu Island, was truly an enjoyment. Knowing that there were three of us, an extra bed was set up in advance, and all the amenities were provided in sets of three. Very thoughtful. We arrived around 1 PM, but the room wasn't ready yet. I was also with my grandma, who wasn't checking in but had heard good things and wanted to visit. I'm very grateful to the front desk team and Angel. I hadn't made an appointment to tour the hotel, and I saw that tours only started at 2:30 PM. I was debating whether it would be too hot to wander around Zhongshan Road in the middle of the day or too boring to just wait in the hotel when Angel welcomed us. She gave our group of five a very comprehensive historical introduction to the entire hotel and even specifically took us to see the terrace room type, accompanying us for a full hour. Afterward, it was正好 (just in time) for afternoon tea, and she treated us to afternoon tea for five. After finishing tea, we went back to our room. It truly gave our family a perfect and very pleasant check-in experience. Thank you very much. We had dim sum for dinner at the 7th-floor restaurant, and breakfast was also on the 7th floor. The food was excellent, and the service was good. As an established hotel, Xiamen Lujiang Harbourview Hotel, with its excellent location, can still maintain such facilities, environment, and service. It's a must-visit when in Xiamen; the trip was truly worthwhile. I look forward to staying again on my next visit to Xiamen."

"I saw this new hotel from Trip.com at 10 o'clock last night. I checked out at 8 o'clock this morning. I just said my real feelings. I have been here before, and when I was still a sea view business hotel, the breakfast was more ordinary in the impression. Now it has been upgraded to a famous century, it is really a big change! The overall environment looks a lot refreshing, the breakfast is a lot rich, there are hot dishes, fried food and local snacks, and it is a pleasant surprise. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the room hygiene was in place, and I slept well. It is about 1.2 kilometers away from the ancient city. The starting price of a taxi is just there. Self-driving parking is also convenient. The front desk attitude is also very good. This stay is very satisfactory."
