Stayed at Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan and it was such a relaxing experience. The environment is peaceful and perfect for a short escape from the city. The hotel is located right by the beach, so you get a beautiful natural vibe throughout your stay. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — plenty of space to unwind and enjoy. Hotel facilities are great, including a swimming pool, gym, kids-friendly areas, and dining options, all well-maintained and convenient for both couples and families. The highlight is definitely the view 🌅 You can catch both stunning sunrise and sunset by the beach, which makes it extra special. Waking up to the sea view and ending the day with golden sunset moments is just perfect.

Very good facilities, swimming pool until 10pm. Direct access to beach. Good view straight to East so can see sunrise. Sgi good service even raya they serve us nicely. However, night time vibe changes alot. Some weird thing happend. Baby cry very loud and my niece even stand in front of the window. So need to take note if you are sensitive towards those thing need to consider. But will thinking of repeat again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency Kuantan, especially the ambience and hospitality. However, there are a few areas that require attention. Cons / Areas for Improvement: 1. Water pressure was quite slow, especially for the shower. When turned to hot water, the pressure increased, but once switched to cold, it became extremely weak. 2. There was water maintenance work happening during our stay. Although the hotel assured that everything was under control, it did affect our comfort while on holiday. 3. We noticed a small clump of dust on the floor. While it was minor, as we were staying with a 2-year-old toddler, it raised concerns as children tend to put things into their mouth. Housekeeping may need to be more thorough. 4. There should be better control of wild monkeys, especially around the parking area. I was chased and nearly bitten, which was quite frightening and unsafe for guests. Pros / What We Appreciate: 1. Excellent service recovery — I forgot to disable the “Do Not Disturb” sign but informed the front desk to clean the room. The housekeeping staff called first to ask for permission before entering, which shows professionalism and true 5-star service standards. 2. The hotel’s surroundings are beautiful, clean, and very calming — truly breathtaking. 3. The beach is very clean and conveniently located right next to the hotel. 4. Large swimming pools (two pools available), so it never felt crowded. 5. Staff were extremely friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Conclusion: Hyatt Regency Kuantan has great potential with its beautiful location, facilities, and outstanding staff. With improvements in water system management, housekeeping checks, and wildlife control, the overall guest experience would be even better.

Overall - Rooms are clean and feel fresh (stayed in the family executive sea view room). Main areas are newly renovated with a fresh look, though some parts of the property still feel dated — generally well maintained. The breakfast buffet was decent with local favourites, a western spread, fresh juices and decent coffee. Did not have a great experience at the BBQ dinner due to beach flies. Management took some time to react but ultimately replaced all the food and put measures in place to deter flies. It was off-putting, though it appeared to be an isolated incident — staff were apologetic and receptive to feedback. 🏨 Room — 7/10 Clean, spacious, with all the essentials. 🧹 Cleanliness — 8/10 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 7/10 Staff were friendly and well-mannered. Junior staff would benefit from further training in food safety and guest feedback escalation. 📍 Location — 7/10 Set on a clean, soft-sand beach. Opposite the hotel is a long stretch of local food stalls and eateries. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 5/10 Breakfast buffet is decent. BBQ dinner has room for improvement. 🌅 View/Scenery — 7/10 Clean stretch of beach directly in front of the property. 🏃 Activities Around — 7/10 Surprisingly good gym — older equipment but very complete with a rack and barbells. Plenty of spots to lounge at the beach. Spa was closed for renovations. There is a private ATV operator next to the resort which felt like a safety hazard, with children and adults riding unsupervised and recklessly. ♿ Disabled Friendliness — 8/10

This was my second visit here, and this time I brought my parents along. However, this stay was less enjoyable. The main reason was that the swimming pool, which was exclusive to guests during my previous visit, was open to outside visitors this time. As a result, the pool was quite crowded, and it was hard to move freely when trying to swim. Other than that, everything else was perfectly fine.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the AC Marriott Hotel. The pillows and bed were incredibly comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly throughout the night. The breakfast spread was quite simple, but it was sufficient and satisfying. The staff were highly professional and showed excellent hospitality. I will definitely be coming back again.

I recently had the chance to stay at Adena Beach Resort, and honestly it turned out to be a really refreshing getaway. The biggest highlight is definitely the private beach. Waking up to the sound of waves and being able to walk straight to the beach in the morning is something you don’t get everywhere. The beach was clean, peaceful, and perfect for a slow morning walk during sunrise. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, with a relaxing view that makes you feel like you’re truly on a break from the city. The resort itself has a calm atmosphere — not overly crowded, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Another thing I appreciated was the friendly and helpful staff. From check-in to check-out, the service felt warm and welcoming. Small gestures from the team really made the stay more pleasant. If you’re looking for a quiet beach escape in Pahang, especially near Kuantan, Adena Beach Resort is definitely worth considering. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe, and just enjoy the sea breeze for a while. Would definitely come back again for another short retreat.

Valid for money staying here but the accommodation need to improved. 1) Only 3 ea hanger supply 2) Chair at kitchen table need to replace due to safety 4) WiFi unable to access 5) Remote for TV not function 6) 2 Toilet switch broken 8) No extra plastic bag for rubbish 9) No clothes/rag for cleaning the table cabinet 10) Old towel need the replacement

Our stay at Swiss Garden Residence Kuantan was truly a delightful experience. Despite visiting during the holiday peak, the overall environment remained comfortable and well-managed, without feeling overly crowded. Parking was straightforward, with a designated lot and clear guidance provided, ensuring a hassle-free experience throughout. For families, the mini waterpark is a wonderful addition, offering both fun and convenience. The proximity to the beach further enhances the appeal, allowing for relaxing seaside moments just a short walk away. Additionally, having a convenience store right outside the residence adds to the overall ease and comfort of the stay. In every sense, this stay offers exceptional value. This is my second time choosing this hotel, and I still highly recommend it! The room with the sea view is so relaxing. The staff are very friendly and the location is very convenient; there's a supermarket and restaurants downstairs. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.
